Keith Hamilton?

yes Keith Hamilton had 11.5, Corey Miller 6.5 and LT had 6.
Side not, Strahan had 1 in what was his rookie year( So lets try not to jump ship on JPP if he doesn't dominate out of the gate)

Before Banks and after Banks, until we get to Pierce, several players had it for a year but the only ones I can remember that wore #58 more than a few years were Doug Colman then Mike Barrow.

It isn't Barrow, so I'll guess Colman

Ok, new question. With the number 3 and 4 pick of the 1965 draft the Chicago Bears picked D. Butkus and Gale Sayers. The Giants had the number 1 pick. Who did they take?

No need to look it up. I said it when Boss caught that pass. "YA called that!"

I also called that Nicks would get the 1st TD. Didn't think he'd get 3.

I've been totally clueless about what to expect from our Gmen this season. I feel better after seeing them today.

- I'm still concerned about our O Line's run blocking. I think it won't be long before we see Andrews in for Seubert.

- Glad to see Bradshaw start... expected he'd be a nice weapon receiving, too,and then he lets that one gooff his hands. Jacobs will be playing to prove a point, which is a good thing.

- I expected Smith & Nicks to have a good year. If Manningham can continue like he did today, these guys are gonna be tough to cover. Barden's still not ready for prime time. Get #3 in there some!

- I'm happy with the D line. Keep 'em rotating; keep 'em fresh and motivated. Speed kills.

- LB's - Getting better. Perhaps unfamiliarity with each other has some bearing on their play in preseason... you need to have confidance that your bro's will be where they are supposed to be. We need these guys to make some big hits, and get some confidance. Blackburn getting hurt isn't good for depth.

- DB's- Glad TT had a nice day. I'm a bit concerned here because of CW's tender groin and wonder how effective Ross can be when he returns from his foot injury. Those kind of injuries prevent you from making a sudden burst or a hard change of direction without making it sore again.

- Dodge... how long is it going to take you to learn to create a little hang time? How much patience can Coughlin have? I guess there aren't any jewels available, sittin' at home.

Both Tyree and Eli were born on Jan 3. Tyree in 1980 and Eli in 1981.

I only did a preseason game this year... been going since '68.The tix are now in the hands of 4 younger relatives of Aunt Jean, and the family will forever be grateful to her, and the USArmy who assigned her to sell War Bonds outside of the Polo Grounds at NY Giant games. Average per rush you are asking? Minimum # of rushes or does 1 rush count?

If there is a minimum number then it's it's probably Tiki, Hampton, and possibly Gifford.

If there isn't it's going to be some obscure person who rushed for 1 rush for 70 ish yards then got taken out of the game.

No, yards per game played. The formula is up there /\. Minimum 16 games played. So one rush for 70 yards over 16 games is 4.375 yards per game. So it wouldn't be that game. Gifford for example is 26.5 yards per game ranking him 30th.

However, in my research, I did learn that Otis Anderson was the first rusher to pass 1000 yd(actual 1266) at the University of Miami. Now Otis was our superbowl mvp, I have met Otis and have a mini-helmet with mvp inscription from him. Sorry, now I am digressing. Thought perhaps someone may find this interesting.

This is tough-I would have to go with Gifford, not 100% sure.

Of course... it's always a thrill to meet one of our guys.

Gifford was the answer to what question? If you're new, and don't know the tricks, hit the "Quote" tab on the post in question and it will include the poster's question along with your reply.

The next timethese 2 hook up for a TD pass [not this Sunday] they will tie the record for most QB-WR TDsin Colts history. Who is the other Colt combo these guys will tie?

I read this stuffa few days ago so now I'm rethinking the last 2 Colt questions I asked. I thought it was Brady to Coates but not positive. Will check over the next few days. Little rusty on my Colts tivia. Marvin Harrison, I think must in there on the WR ? Little help?

i had a strange thought the other day;if someone ever made a movie from art donovan's biography(and they should, great book, funny as hell!),who would play the lead?my thinking was that there was only one guy big enough and funny enough to pull it off-artie lange!but i don't know if he would do it-he is such a huge giants fan,i don't know if he would want to play a colt hall-of-famer.
