Nope, daven and him will complain about our poor gameplan/execution to get us into field goal range.

Thank you Bandy, I had a great thanksgiving! I hope you had a great day despite this horrific game as well.

And I appreciate you calming me down....that's just not what I needed after this game. At least send me a PM or something.....I thought that they would at least give me that much respect...I feel I've conducted myself in a manner on here to deserve that much at the very least.

These mods are so f'n backwards with how they moderate this site it disgusts me.

I dunno....We look like we got to many problems to fix right now and the Offense is **** ! AND the Defense is **** !!!

The ONLY players I enjoy watching and are doing really well right now on the NYG is Webster and Manningham and maybe NIcks.

Joacobs BLOWS now. Guess he got happy with the BIG contract and doesn't wanna play the old way anymore.

So on Weds. night, I was at a family friends' house, they do an anual night-before-thanksgiving party. All the old timers use it as an excuse to drink, and all us young folk use it as the same....except it's a pregame to go out for the night....all of our families meet up there basically.
So anyway....
I'm slamming some beers, and my mom walks in and shes like "so what are you doing tonight after this?" And I say
"Well, I'm probably going to have unprotected sex with multiple anonymous women, while drinking and taking intravenious drugs"......some jaws dropped, but most ppl laughed. My mom is like wtf is the matter with you?! I thought i raised 3 normal boys!
To which I responded..."Hey, when I was growing up, you told me I could grow up to be WHATEVER I wanted!!! So when I grew up, I became an a55hole!"
More laughs

"Well, I'm probably going to have unprotected sex with multiple anonymous women, while drinking and taking intravenious drugs"......some jaws dropped, but most ppl laughed. My mom is like wtf is the matter with you?! I thought i raised 3 normal boys!
To which I responded..."Hey, when I was growing up, you told me I could grow up to be WHATEVER I wanted!!! So when I grew up, I became an a55hole!"
More laughs

i think CC was in to help with the run.. still didn't help but whatever..

i don't see this loss as i did the 4 in a row that we lost....

real short week, no time to prepare against an opponent that we have really no previous experience playing against, not enough time to plan against thoseconfusing zone schemes of Denver, a Denver team really desperate for a win and traveling time that shortens up the already short week.. we ran into a buzsaw..now we got time to fix some issues to take on the cowboys.. its still possible to go 10-6

I think Gilbride is gone next season regardless, and Sherridan....well.....I think that speaks for itself. Maybe WE should be the ones pursuing Shannahan as an option....lol

Our O-line, either they are showing theyre age(which cmon...they arent that old) or they are breaking down physically which is not good.
This has also caused BJ to slow his role apparently. I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that he forgot how to pound the line. Maybe his holes arent as big as tehy used to be.

And for the love of god!!! Please stop blaming Eli as if he were the one man show!! I think I hate all that drab the most in TAGF forums.

GODDAMN, the more I think about it, the more I realize how awful our coordinators are.

On defense....How the **** are you going to improve at multiple positions, and be worse than the year prior? Michael Boley must be wondering wtf goes on in NY lol. What did sherridan change? Had to be somethin, cuz wow....

Gilbride, I love how when we need 8 yards on 3rd down, you draw up a play to get 2 yards. Specifically the shotgun draws....love em...
I said this earlier in the season, but why exactly is it that we've had Gilbride for3 years now, and thats the longest tenure he's had since STARTING with the houston oilers in the 80s?!?!
WTF dont you think there was a reason nobody ****ing wanted him??

well in one thread earlier today I mentioned that I think the coordinators are riding someone's coattails, but I dont know who.....but it's a problem to keep ppl who arent good at their jobs.
And yes, we know that Osi had his beef in the summer with Sherridan over wahtever.....I KNOW it wasnt squashed, and it was probably some handlers who MADE Osi say something in regards to things being fine. I wouldnt shoot your theory down though, prolly right.

lol, so we can agree that between Killdrive and our aging O-Line, our offense is putting too much presure on our already struggling defense(specifically the secondary, including LB).
I REFUSE to believe that our run game just "isnt good". It's not the RBs. It's a miserable combination of blocking, opening, and obviously, playcalling.

NFL need fan advisors. I dont mean like crazy ****ing fans, i just mean like....ppl who have more fire than a previously indifferent coach. It's not like Kevin Gilbride is a Giants fan lol.....the guy has held 4 or 5 coordinator jobs lasting about a year each lol......god I hate him! lol

Compensating for the plantar fasciitis he battled for much of this season, New York quarterback Eli Manning (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5526)
has developed a stress reaction in his right foot that could be even
more problematic for the Giants, according to sources close to the
situation.

A recent MRI on Manning's foot revealed the stress
reaction in the cuboid bone, which makes Manning susceptible to a
stress fracture that could end his 2009 season.

Grey Cup http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_Cup
Damn, I wanna see that Colts/Texans game, the Schaub-Andre connection is straight up dead sexy..... If Andre Johnson wasnt a total standup and class act he would be the most popular WR in the NFL, cause we know he's RIDICULOUSLY talented just look what he's been doin down in H-Town

WOW, this Jets game is PITIFUL, Sanchez is REALLY lookin like a rookie and the Jets line is looking like a wet paper bag

We did man, we scooped Willy Beats with our 2nd 2nd round pick, Beatty is the Anit-Diehl, he's an agile finesse blocker that specializes in handling speed rushers..... We need to give him some more snaps cause Diehl is looking disgusting at LT so far he's been responsible for 19sacks

Nice pick up on the Jets D. I must say I am very impressed and must give you credit. You went from a guy that didn't want to play at all and would not even accept a kind gesture from Matt to buy you in to a guy who picked up Forsett, in 2nd place and loving every minute of it. You will feel great when you win the whole thing. I just hope it is me you beat in the final. I am sure we don't even have to ask if you are in next year.

Byron to, he has been holding it down also for a rookie. I love that...

Man, I thought I was doing ok while watching the games, LdT with 2 TD's Schaub seemed "Ok" Calvin Johnson scored a TD at least and Davis had a good day, then I look at the score...69 [:(]

that's no good at all, need to make up 32 points, I do have Pierre Thomas who I have no doubts could get 16-20 points with 20 carries, I mean he averages 5.6 a carry, dudes a beast WHEN they use him, the problem is I'd still need at least 10 more points, and while NO defense may be the highest ranked in the NFL as far as point scored, I seriously doubt they'll do that against Brady [:(]

Not only was it not loud at all(it gets loudER on 3rd downs on D but thats it), but 1/3 of the stadium was empty. Ok maybe not a 3rd, maybe a 4th. Its been discussed, but I gues it depends who you ask.
The ******bag fans will tell you Osi SUCKS and was always overrated and shouldnt even be talking at all....
Us normal fans tend to agree that someone needs to fire up everyone else cuz our bench doesnt seem to care, and it looks like a wasteland on the sidelines sometimes. Oh, and our coordinators are awful, so im sure Osi knows this lol

I went to the Jets/Panthers game yesterday forrr freeeee....and I gotta say, wasn't impressed. I had multiple people tell me that Jets fans are so much louder than Giants fans(not like thats hard cuz most ppl at Giants games are silent), and it gets really loud. Not only was it not loud at all(it gets loudER on 3rd downs on D but thats it), but 1/3 of the stadium was empty. Ok maybe not a 3rd, maybe a 4th. In fact there were 2 sections that barely had 10 ppl in them, im talkin the cheap seats too! whats that about? But at least I got to go to the old stadium one last time before its gone =\

Morning guys.

Me neither, cmon S&A, you sound like the sky is falling. We have a good team still. The offense isn't ALWAYS going to click, SO many young guys still running the routes, and I feel like the majority of the problems at the momet are coming from the o-line as much as I hate to admit it cuz i love them. the organization says they are adding depth at OL, but maybe they are thinking short term too...not sure.
And you dont FIRE TC, thats just crazy talk. its not him, it's the company he keeps. Gilbride should go to football hell, i would bet they love him in oakland cuz they have all types of useless people out there. And sherridan....sherridan HOW DARE YOU get promoted to direct what should have been the most devastating defense this team has seen since the 80s and turn them into the laughing stock of the NFL!!!! Sherridan should be fired. no second chances for that kinda of backwards turnaround. Cya PAL

You should win by about 15-20 points.

Hey!, I'm not gonna lie it is a long shot, but look at week 3, PT put up 27 points In the second half alone of course he didn't put up any in the first so he only ended up with 27....but still 27 points in one half is impressive, it's possible if PT has an "All time game" that he will win this for me by himself....that said I think that's unlikely, also unlikely is NO having a "good night" against Brady, so clearly it is a long shot, but don't put it down in the book yet.

Thanks, and I hope u had a good holiday.

Im not really worried about the Giants or any other team for that matter. Philly's just gotta win their games and start worrying about other teams when the playoffs commence. Our schedule is challenging to say the least:
@ AtL (Welcome home Michael Vick)
@ NYG
vs 49ers
vs Donko's
@ Dallas

Obviously I'd like to win all of those games, but realistically if Philly wins 3 or more, we're in the playoffs.

I don't understand why ya'll would even want Weiss coaching your G-Men. He was barely over .500 for one of the most coveted and best recruited football programs in the country. Huge expectations, nothing to show. He had a big win against Michigan and a couple small bowl victories. Besides that nothing was evensemi-impressive. Losses to Syracuse on Senior Day, Navy, and a goose egg against USC. It was bound to happen, and he knew he had it coming. That was pretty much his resume for the last half decade. I would want something a little more efficient calling plays for my squad.

Losses to Syracuse on Senior Day, Navy, and a goose egg against USC. It was bound to happen, and he knew he had it coming. That was pretty much his resume for the last half decade. I would want something a little more efficient calling plays for my squad.

ND coaches are at a huge disadvantage in recruiting. He has had inferior players since he's been there.

Can you dispute is credentials as an NFL OC?

If so, you know not of what you speak.

Dude youre out of your mind. Quit living in the past when Notre Dame was a powerhouse. Theyve had 1 good season out of HOW MANY of the past years? Best recruited my ***. That's like when the Yankees signed every near-retirement player thinking theyd get another ring.
God they are so awful, and you would never hear a high school recruit saying "yea man, I was thinking Notre Dame". Never happens. Hasnt since the 90s.

Not when a coach explains that at ND they actually have to go to class and excel acedemically.

The blue chippers don't like to hear that ****.

None of these kids care about school anymore. They are just looking for a stepping stone to the NFL. Times have changed, and thanfully, at least ND hasn't lowered their stamdards.

I don't really care for Weis a whole lot, but ND is at an enormous recruiting disadvantage. You have to be pretty much a scholar just to get approved to attend. Has ND even changed their requirements for getting recruits at all? So he gets the benefit of the doubt in that regards. The bottom line on Weis is that he has an outstanding offensive mind. He made the Pats offense what it is today. He gets props for that too. No way is he ever going to be head coach material. He's just not that type of guy IMO

First team in the league to 14 wins. Only team in the league that
hasn't lost at home. Seventeen games played? Seventeen games with 100
points or more.

Who is this team?

If so, you know not of what you speak.
What do you mean he's been at a huge disadvantage in recruiting?! Notre Dame has one of the best recruiting classes every year for a long time. It's what they do with the talent, that makes them who they are (See Charlie Weis).

And I know his crudentials, if that's what u are referring to. If you think he can be a great OC with the Giants, because of what he did with the Pats, you are lying to yourself. The '00-'04 Pats offensive talent was argueably one of the best offenses in NFL history. And every coach that was there was successful. You could have successfully coached that squad.

Or is it because 20 years ago he served as a secretary to the Tuna in the ol' glory days in New York?

I just don't see him successful anytime in the near future as a OC or HC in the NFL right now. That's just my opinion.

I don't buy this at all. Most important man on the field on the football field = QB.

Jimmy Clausen was the #1 high school prospect from the '07 draft class.....where did he end up? Notre Dame.Clausen never lost a football game he started in his prep career (42-0)

Well you didn't state that it was their defense before.....

And yeah I saw Toby Gerhart rolling over Irish left and right. I wouldn't jump so fast to disparaging Notre Dame's defense and not creditting Gerhart for his running ability. Because I would assume you would agree in saying USC has one of the best recruiting classes on every side of the ball in the nation. And Gerhart had a monster day against USC at the Coliseum as well.
