not sure, i just stopped in to say hello aswell.. hows everythingWell today was the day from HELL, and Happy Hour def helped that out, LOL

Hows that Gold Medal Treatin ya..... You suprised how Pit fans treated Crosby/Miller???
was kinda weird how the first game back had those 2 goin at it.. never heard what the fas did what happened?Well half of the fans didnt cheer Crosby and EVERYONE gave Ryan Miller a long standing ovation.... It was a semi-controversy, too bad there's no non-sirius NHL Radio Shows

pizz n dezz, i need some new music... any suggestions?
honestly man when it comes to rock i just stick to what i know. you showing me hed hp was probably the first decent band iv herd in over a year. they have any other hard songs like renegade, that songs tough. the videos awesome too. haha for some reason the guy dancing reminds me of tyler durden from fight club.

go get two of their albums Broke and Blackout. Broke is harder but they are both pretty kick ***...

they had like 2 or 3 albums after that which were just rough and they really lost themselves I feel like. I think they were garbage after that but this renegades song reminds me of old hed pe, so if u like that song u should like those two albums

Its crazy, Black people are taking over rock lol....

Skindred, Sevendust, Hed PE, and Nonpoint are all 4 bands in heavy rotation with me and they all have brothas in the front lol its nuts

$8 mil a year for Rolle?!?!

Morehead State
03-05-2010, 10:01 AM
Last year Hayensworth had his $100MM within a few hours of 12:00 AM. This year, nothing much.

Just saying, Matt. Maybe the players are finding the owners a little hesitant to spend that kind of $$$.

"I thought I played pretty good D; there was just a lot of screens
the whole night," Artest said. "It's hard to guard the player and the
screen, but I got through a lot of screens."

As he continued to play back the game in his head as he
intermittently answered reporters' questions and shoved pieces of sushi
in his mouth -- the chicken sandwiches and French fries that the rest
of the team were eating didn't jibe with the new diet he's on that's
responsible for his dropping 14 pounds since the All-Star break -- even
he didn't believe what he was saying.

He swiped a box score out of one scribe's hand, looked it up
and down like a parent examining a child's report card full of failing
grades, and tossed it to the side of his cramped locker the way David
Letterman throws those blue index cards away from his desk when he's
finished telling a joke.

"Horrible," Artest said.

lol that means the following year they reinstate the cap like you say they the giants will be waaaaaaay over cap. i dont know, i dont like it at all. like you said yesterday if it ant broke dont fix it.

that's speculation, who knows, they might "grandfather in" contracts done during the uncapped year, the cap might be set to what the highest team is after the uncapped year, we don't know (they don't know) what the cap would be when reinstated, if it's ever reinstated anyhow, which IMHO is unlikely if they actually go through with this uncapped year....

it's pandora's box, once it's open it's almost impossible to close.

"A group of Norwegian friends get the scariest history lesson of their lives during a weekend getaway to the snowy town of Øksfjord, where the party is interrupted by throngs of Nazi zombies who once occupied the area. Armed with a machine-gun-equipped snowmobile, the gang fights for survival in director Tommy Wirkola's quirky horror, shot on location in the mountains of Norway. listen if theres going to be a new cap installed and everything and all of these players are going to get the inflated contract we all know they are ognna get (except moorehead) theres going to be some type of pillow in the new agreement thats going to not handicap teams totally...

im not saying go out and buy peppers, dansby, rolle and see how the cards fall... but theres going to be enough wiggle room to take a shot at one of these big dogs...

I know morehead is perfectly capable of defending himself, but I gotta say, I've not seen him say anything about players not getting inflated contracts, what he said was that some teams may go the way of the marlins and pay little to nothing and pocket whatever they can.

so what tho, thats the case every year, cap or no cap....

the only thing thats different is that these guys are going to be paid more than the typical year to year inflation, which he seems to argue with me by saying the uncertainty of whats going to happen in 2011 won't allow that to happen... but its gonna happen

The Giants are better off than everyone thinks. The only move we NEED to make...and i wouldnt say its a move really...just addition maybe...is LB...we jsut dont have the quality at that position. I dont like the idea of overpaying multiple players. If they want to bring Dansby on board, I think that's great....but thats really where my "positive" opinions stop.

Will he stay or will he be sent away? The Philadelphia Eagles are divided on a Donovan McNabb
trade, with one very powerful Eagle blocking a potential deal. The NFL
free agency period has officially begun and, as teams make offers and
deals, reports say McNabb could be traded soon. There are many
interested teams out there, but right now the Eagles are not accepting
any offers yet. Sources tell Fox 29's sports department that the St.
Louis Rams are not one of those teams, contrary to some reports. But
we're also being told that trading McNabb is not going to be easy
because internally the Eagles' brass wants to move him but Andy Reid does not.

At least four teams are after him: the New York Giants (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/nyg/), Miami Dolphins (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/mia/), Chicago Bears (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/chi/), and, um, the Cardinals, who would like to convince him to return, according to the New York Daily News.

The Dolphins supposedly offered a five-year deal for less money than the Giants. Rolle, who had 72 tackles last year and four interceptions, reportedly said no to an ofer from the Cards that was worth $32.6 million over six seasons.

all the smart players on the Cards should GTFO now while they still can....this team is once again headed for the company of the Lions and Rams. Not a pretty place lol

I agree with that, San Fran is gonna be runnin the show in that division next year...

SF would be disgusting with a decent QB! Look at all the awesome peices they have. They could improve their d-line a bit. but good LBs, good 2ndary, awesome run game and some legit WRs/TE!

Hey Matt...Where Jerra Jones and Daniel Snyder opening their checkbooks with no cap?

I'll tell you where they are.

Hiding in their mansions afraid to sign anyone given the impending lock out. Just as Moorehead said.

lol with three free agent signings so far, 1 of which was a team resigning one of their own players...

maybe u haven't heard.. Snyder isn't callin the shows in Washington anymore

If you think ur not gonna hear Jerry Jones and the Cowboys throwing money around then ur crazy

Nice to see you admitting I'm right.

Without Snyder and Jones, there won't be the over the top contracts we used to see.

Your admission is another point for me.

Morehead 4

Matt 0

you got davenitus... somehow u think i admitted u were right?

I was pointing out u were wrong since u think Snyder is making the roster calls around there still.

And Jerry Jones WILL be in full force. If you think hes not gonna offer Peppers, Dansby, or god knows who else ur crazy

And not only have they not thrown any offers out, but yet still 2 players have benefitted off of the no cap situation.. so hence your doubly wrong

Well then who is he going to spend crazy money for?

You keep making my point for me. Everyone is looking to dump payroll. Not add to it.

lol Moorehead play with ur theories all you want, but as i've said before once we see the final numbers its all speculation. Suggesting ur right so far after the Weaver and Burleson deals is quite humorous

Dolphins are releasing Gibril Wilson. LETS DO IT!

i dont care what anyone says, Gibril Wilson is awesome

he blows lol...

he can't keep a job in Oakland or Miami

I hope youre not serious!

Oakland barely counts for anything. Wilson was the sole reason they didnt give up 8 TDs a game that season.
Miami on the other hand, they draft multipleDBs every year...so its understandable if they didnt keep him I suppose? idk...

Gibril Wilson blows man... lol he had promise, flourished under Spags and is now signing vet minimums to stay alive lol

Hall plays CB

I like Rolle and it really wouldn't bother me giving him 8mil

I just dont thin kit will happen. I would be very surprised if it did just because with Fewell, hes like the Spags of the secondary. Spags always got the most out of his LBs when he was in Philly, Fewell always had his secondaries playing above themselves.

I mean we need a saftey but I would of thought we would of gone for somebody less talented and used the draft

Last year Haynesworth had his $100MM right out of the blocks. The big names always go first.

Not this year. This year the owners don't want to spend.

Moorehead you can use the time card as a supporting argument all you want, but when Peppers is signed by 8 o clock tonite iwth a 130 million dollar deal ur gonna be wrong lol.. if it took a couple of extra hours toget done then oh well, it makes no different. PEppers was being tampered with for a full week before he was even allowed to and has multiple offers from multipe teams lol

$130MM? You're nuts. You have lost your mind. The Bears (as desperate as they are since everyone will be fired if they don't win this year) will never pay that kind of money. I understand that Philly and NE are also interested as well and you and I both know they won't come close to that.

i know they wouldn't, i agree...

thats also why they may be interested in Peppers, but theres no sign that Peppers is interested in them

wonder why?

Then who do you claim would be willing to pay 1 player $130MM?

Whoever this fictitious team is, they would be doomed!

well what do u think the Bears gonna give PEppers?

A wild guess would be

5 or 6 years for $15MM/year. I also would guess that the hold up is upfront money. Teams won't want to pay a guy too much upfront and then have that money already spent going into a lockout season.

Peppers, being 30, would probably want a front loaded contract.

And not only have they not thrown any offers out, but yet still 2 players have benefitted off of the no cap situation.. so hence your doubly wrong

Well then who is he going to spend crazy money for?

You keep making my point for me. Everyone is looking to dump payroll. Not add to it.

The $40 million is expected to be guaranteed, ensuring that Peppers will have received roughly $60 million between the 2008 and 2012 seasons, including his back-to-back franchise tags from the Panthers. Foreman knocking down Frazier one of the six times in that fight. the first knockdown was probably the most famous call in the history of boxing by Howard Cossell:

"Down goes Frazier, Down goes Frazier, Down goes Frazier, Down goes Frazier" I think he repeated it at least 4 times.
6 ****in times?! hahaha the most iv seen is 3 and a half. the guy was out on his feet and the ref caught him on the ropes as he called it over. i love boxing..........to bad its dying.

Haynesworth got a 7 year contract with $41MM guaranteed. Reportedly this is 6 years with $40MM guarenteed. That makes Haynesworths deal better than Peppers.

1. Peppers is by any definition a better player than Haynesworth.

2. Peppers lesser deal can in your imfamous "uncapped year" which you claimed was going to have much more money thrown at the players.
