yeah it depends on the week.. girls nights on thursday then fri and sat is a given... the other days are up in the air.. i have come to the conclusion i am sober ALOT more often when it is not football season tho... haha makes me miss football that much more but im sure my liver is happy about that.</p>

oh, cool, i have girls night on thursday too....but i get the feeling we have a different version of girls night. mine is: I'll hang out with as many girls as I can to see which one is coming home with me. Now im not gonna say this plan is fool proof, but it's been known to work from time to time. So where we goin? lol </p>

so where do you think TO goes?

I think I can see him in a few places:

Minny - I can see them upgrading Berrian with TO. Huge upgrade plus it would make Farve happy to get another name in there with him. Plus he doesn't have much of a connection with Berrian

Washington - Shannahan is there now and they could use him bad. Shanahan is all about a high powered offense, TO/Santana Moss would be one of the best duos in the league

Balt - Give a lil support for Boldin. Darkhorse, but I think it would make sense

NE - Hes over 35 and was once a superstar, they have to be considering him lol.

Cincy is done since they signed Antonio Bryant

i can see minny although with Rice having a great year who knows... i can also see the redskins and TO loves the NFC east sooo that wouldnt surprise me.

i think balt is out with signing boldin and cinci out with signing bryantdont think hell go to the skins. either way, theyd still suck. jason campbell is garbage
yea im going with minny or the ravens.
i happen to love TO . is this a joke????

I think the Broncos will trade Marshall on draft day. The writing is on the wall that Marshall seems to be gone. And they can still draft a WR and pick up TO cheap. Denvers offense is a passing offense and that means TO can have his numbers. I do not think he would want to go to Minnesota. Rice is there #1 receiver and I do not see TO playing second fiddle to anyone.

TO humbled? I would not go that far, I think he kept quiet because he has too. He ran himself right out of 3 cities. So he knows that he won't get any long-term deal with that kind of attitude. He still thinks he can be a #1

2 AFC teams maybe needing a WR. The Texans---they have Johnson and resigned Walter. and how about the Jaguars? They could use a veteran WR. My guess in the NFC would be the Bears.

eh i think TO is humbled a bit.. if he didn't go bat **** crazy last year then I think hes shown signs of maturity.....

2 AFC teams maybe needing a WR. The Texans---they have Johnson and resigned Walter. and how about the Jaguars? They could use a veteran WR. My guess in the NFC would be the Bears.

Houston could be a good place... Walter really declined and they def need another weapon on offense

JAgs got Sims Walker and may be looking to stay young there to mask how bad Garrard is. I never understood the love for that guy, he sucks

If the Broncos trade Marshall I could see them trying to lure TO to a 1-2 year deal.

thats actually a good thought too

forgot about that...

i could def see that happening if Marshall goes

I think the Broncos will trade Marshall on draft day. The writing is on the wall that Marshall seems to be gone. And they can still draft a WR and pick up TO cheap. Denvers offense is a passing offense and that means TO can have his numbers. I do not think he would want to go to Minnisota. Rice is there #1 receiver and I do not see TO playing second fiddle to anyone.

eh i think TO is humbled a bit.. if he didn't go bat **** crazy last year then I think hes shown signs of maturity.....

TO humbled? I would not go that far, I think he kept quiet because he has too. He ran himself right out of 3 cities. So he knows that he won't get any long-term deal with that kind of attitude. He still thinks he can be a #1

well not for nothin, so do i.

He still cracked 1000 yards with having NO QB and a 3 game stretch of like 1 catch for 7 yards...

TO is stilll a player in this league... but I can't see him come in and think hes gonna be the man Minny if thats where he went... Rice is the new stud

TO still has game. His drops are getting a little out of hand now. If he could drop the ego stuff and go somewhere and be a #2 receiver he can help some franchise tremendously.

def and I think he'll be able to

Difference between potential and reality...

A kid goes up to his dad and asks, "Dad, what's the difference between potential and reality?" Dad says, well, "Go to your mother and ask her if she'd sleep with Brad Pitt for 1 Million dollars, then ask you sister, then your brother". So he asks his mom, she replys "Wow, that's a lot of money, so hypothetically speaking, yes, yes I would" Sister says "Oh hell yeah! I LOVE Brad Pitt!". Then goes to brother and asks him. Brother thinks for a minute and replys "Ya know thats a ****load of money, so yeah, yeah I think I would if the oppurtunity presented itself". Next day, kid goes up to dad. "Find out what the difference is?" asks dad. Kid replys "Yeah I think so, potentially we're sitting on 3 million bucks, but in reality we're living with two *****s and a queer!".

NEW YORK -- NFL owners will vote next week whether to allow each team a
possession in overtime in the playoffs if the team winning the OT coin
toss kicks a field goal on the first series.

The proposal is only for the postseason.</p>

"Statistically,
it is pretty clear there has been a change," McKay said. "When sudden
death was put in for 1974, it clearly worked very well and was a good
system. It brought excitement and effectively broke ties. From '74-'93
you had a 50-50 [breakdown] in who would win between those who won the
toss and who lost the toss.</p>

"Changes occurred over time, and the
numbers have changed to 59.8 percent winning the coin toss and winning
the game. The team that loses the coin toss wins 38.5 percent.</p>

"We are trying to put in a system that emphasizes more skill and strategy as opposed to the randomness of the coin flip."</p>

i like the fact that if u kick a FG the other team gets the ball.. if its a TD thats game

that is such a perfect rule because it keeps the Sudden Death aspects still in play while not cheapening the game wiht a 30 yard drive and a FG

I don't personally like that rule. I would just like to see the team who wins the toss get the ball on the 20. And play sudden death at that point.</P>

</P>

well that basically IS what happens. Or do you mean, you have to score TD, and not a FG?</P>

</P>

As i understand it, they are voting on a proposal that would not end the game on a FG in the first drive. Only a TD. So if a team kicks a FG the other team gets the ball. Then sudden death applies at the point they end that drive.</P>

I am suggesting the best way is to simply put the ball on the 20. This way the team that wins the coin toss would have 45 to 50 yards to be in FG range.</P>

hmmm...

gotta be honest... it sounds like he needs an education in money management...

his window to make this money is gonna close fast and he just pissed away 250k for something he'll be able to do for the rest of his life in probably 5 years max...

and whats stopping him from going back to college after hes done with football? stupid. i hate when people try to do the right thing but in reality are really doing the stupid thing.

Maybe he wants his life to be about something more than his own enrichment.</P>

and that can't be achieved in the offseason or when hes done with the sport, which honestly shouldn't be that long from now...

"I try to put the kids in the best educational system possible and I
think there is something to be said for their father, who has been
blessed to play in the NFL and do something he's loved to do, going
back and finishing what he started," Warren said from the campus of
Texas A&amp;M. "In the big picture, I think it's important for me to do
what I'm doing. I can sacrifice that bonus for that."

"If I'm fortunate enough to play 12, 13 years, but then find myself
getting cut in training camp, I'm not going to put myself in a
situation where I don't have my degree," he said. "I'm not going to
give myself up like that. I need to have options, so I feel like right
now is a time where I need to dictate what I'm doing in the offseason.

"I could have done something up there, but I think so much of players'
time is consumed on a year-round basis that at some point when a player
establishes himself and gains trust of the organization and coaches, if
they have a plan after the game, it's in the players' best interest to
finish what they started."

"I've always been a working person. Ask anyone who knows me, I've
been working and supporting my two siblings and now my own family since
I was 13. No matter how much I have in the bank account, I'll always
work.

"I've always been like that but at the same time, it
would be a detriment to me if I was to go on and football is all there
is. I have plans outside of football. This will help me get there."</p>And while he may be busy going to
school and doing homework, he's also working out each morning and
dropping his kids off at school. He's even planned his schedule so he
can have lunch with his kids once a week. He not only sounds like a
good dad, but a good role model, both to his kids and to other NFL
players who may not have a plan after their playing careers are over.
Nicely done, Ty Warren.

<font color="#0000ff">How can you disagree with that logic or hate on the guy? You guys are ridiculous. It's not like 250K is that much to NFL players. 85 has paid at least that much in fines alone I'm sure...</font>

Who cares guys....the guy has his reasons, and who are you to judge? lol

Some people just play football because they had the gold-given talent and are better than everyone else at it. Doesnt mean they have to have their whole life revolve around it. I respect his decision. I havent finished school yet.and i never finished my sats. point is when someone says heres 250 big ones, you say thank you, have a nice day. not...i think im going to finish school. thats not "something more out of life"

<ul class="altrows"><li class="alt alt-bg"><div class="mod-conversation-detail">Something
has to be said for motivation, too. Sure, he's giving up a lot now, but
it took me about 3 years once I got my undergrad to want to go back to
school again and once I was ready I really wanted to do that. Plus,
he's also preparing himself for the lockout. Not necessarily to make
money during the lock out because it's clear he won't make $250,000
during that time, but he can do some very productive things in that
point in time instead of going to school. I'm not sure how much money
this guy has, but it's clear he has more than enough already or he
understands that there are greater things in life.</div> <li class="">
<div class="mod-conversation-detail">Its
extremely rare for me to rip someone for going to college, but I'm
gonna have to make an exception here. Dude, the campus isn't going
anywhere - it will be there a hundred years from now. Your playing days
are very finite. You're already 29, you have 6 years left absolute max
- get the degree when youre not distracted with playing pro ball and
missing out on 250,000 bonuses. In the real world, the only people that
ever get that size of a bonus are VP's and CEOs. It takes the average
college graduate 5 or 6 years just to make the amount of your bonus.
Collect the quarter mil and use that to send you, your wife, and your
kids to college. But for you, use it only after you retire. Nice
thought, just not good execution.</div> <li class="alt alt-bg">

i do not like the Patriots as a team, this guy here foregoing Money for
a Degree is VERY SMART And CLASS ACT, BRAVO!!!! i hope younger kids who
think they will make it in college ball or pro ball wil read this
clearly and understand without an education you are not worth much..
now with a degree you have something to fall back on and people will
hire you more so than without. i applaud this very much</div> <li class="">
<div class="mod-conversation-detail">Glad
to see him setting an example for his own children and the kids who
root for him on Sundays as well. In an age where more and more athletes
are shortchanging their schooling for a brief professional career, it's
great to see someone recognize the importance of an education and
forgoing a bonus to go back and complete their degree.</div> [/list]

Exactly! He makes that much in interest a year. As I was telling Matt OchoCinco has paid that much in fines and people lose more than that in one hand of 21.

He has been with the Pats since he was drafted. I am sure the Pats brass is happy about his decision and support him 100%. It's a "bonus", not a requirement.

lol u all walk by each other with a spark in ur eye like u all know whats up hahaha.. that is kinda funny

I had an ex or 4 years and an ex of 3 years all in the same tiny bar last night, which was WEIRD cuz it was around nowhere where any of us live. They both have boyfriends that apparently know me and aren't too fond of good ol meyerbud... it was funny. Also the two chicks hate each other, good thing they are cream filled
</p>

hahaha theyve seen better days!</p>

thats so random that you were all in the same place, nowhere near where you live though. Maybe the good Lord just wanted to ruin someones night for some reason. He's a crazy guy, that one....</p>

haha death stares from all around

2 dudes that would def like to snake me

then 2 broads cuz its always weird seeing ur ex talk to other chicks, lol it was funny
when you say cream filled do you mean they got fat?

na i mean their men...

they are cowards... they dont man up and shoot the 1s...

they wait for their big brothers to come... well Julia the recent ex i dunno about.. that was the first time we were face to face

but the ex ex's bf, hes a real scumbag. Never makes a move unless his brothers are there to back him up...

cream filled
