So, all the websites STILL have the updated transaction as Holmes for JUST a 5th rounder......</p>
so is this over yet? Can we all say "The NFL is shady" collaboratively?</p>
how awful.
I'm going to send some bubble gum to Pittsburgh for $2.8 Million.....i wont even chew it first, I promise...</p>
ehh i dunno, if it was just a 5th round pick it woulda been confirmed already dont ya think?
</p>
well thats the thing....everyone is saying confirmed that the jets are doing it despite the assumed 4 game ban....soooooo idk, seems like a legit trade...grosssss! lol</p>
im reading 5 games and im also reading that edwards might also be getting suspended for his "run in" with labron james. lol
</p>

</p>
lol nah i was quoting a youtube video...it's an animated lizzard....</p>
basically some guy trippin balls, locked himself in a closet or soemthing dark, with a voice recorder, and just narrated whatever he was seeing.......later dubbed the audio to a animated lizzard. lol</p>
it's hilarious...look up "drinkin outta cups" i think it's labeled...</p>lol i know i saw it. "not now, not neevaaa" is my favorite part.

The FT's killed us. But yeah, Kobe setting a down screen for a Gasol 3. He is not 0/5 on the year. Not sure what the hell is going on. Bynum not being in there is hurting our bench cause Lamar has to start. Kobe has played more ball in the last 3 years than anyone on the planet. I can tell he is hurting and tired. His shot is terrible. Last year I knew we were winning it all. This year I would not be surprised if we got bounced in the first round. I have not expectations at all. April and May is when the real teams come out. Maybe we are just bored with the regular season. Not sure what is happening but it sucks...

You must not be happy at all. Reigning champs and you would not be surprised they get beat in the first round. I am not a Laker fan so I don't pretend to know much on the team. But from what I see is a bunch of guys who seem to be exhausted or just not into it. Unless they turn on in the playoffs you could be correct about losing in the 1st round.
My opinion they will get out of the 1st round, but the West is stacked this season.

I'm very excited for the OKC Thunder. not cuz they are most likely playing the ailing Lakers but because of their relevance right now. It's always good when an underdog team can do what they are doing, so it should be a good first round in the WEST!
Of course, the Suns will crush them once they play, but it's cool all the same!! haha</P>

Boy was it. It's a shame Tiger could never get it together. Played so horrible and still had a chance to win. 3 or 4 of those bogeys changed to pars and he wins or at least gets into a tiebreaker.
Could not be happier for Phil though. To do that with his wife and mom there after all they have been through in the last year was fantastic. Funny how things work out like that.
Almost like when Jordan came back to the NBA after his father died then he won his first championship on Fathers Day.

Cotchery or Leon may be involved in the deal as well...
that would make more sense
well i dont think the stealers would take give a women beater to take a women beater. and giving up leon is just dumb. blt and sean green will not get it done.
Leon just had serious surgery which could effect his whole game.
Cotchery was never arrested what are u talkin about
so what? why downgrade(dramatically) at runningback to make your passing game better? it doesnt make sence to me, especially when its the best running game in the league.
you sure? i thought he beat up his wife or something....

Well, as it turns out, they don't like each other. Bradshaw explained:
"Our relationship is not any good. When I told him to park the
motorcycle, he got pissed. Alright? Then he had the accident. And since
then, there's, you know ... he doesn't like me, and I'm learning not to

Well, as it turns out, they don't like each other. Bradshaw explained:
"Our relationship is not any good. When I told him to park the
motorcycle, he got pissed. Alright? Then he had the accident. And since
then, there's, you know ... he doesn't like me, and I'm learning not to
like him."
Terry Bradshaw is awesome...

Clapton has, but you can't tell me he was as good the past 30 years as he was BEFORE that!
Not sure how I feel about the choice of the RHCP guitarist.....i mean he IS really good...but not sure how they chose. You cant just PICK a metal guitarist though, that's stupid....their music gets drowned out sometimes.

That leaves only spots Nos. 3, 4 and 5 to settle, and those could be
decided by closing time Tuesday because if Denver beats Phoenix to wrap
up the No. 3 slot. If so, that would leave only Phoenix and Utah to
fight it out on the final day for seeds Nos. 4 and 5 (which would be the
case regardless of the outcome of Tuesday’s J***-Warriors game.)
Otherwise, Phoenix will be No. 3 if it beats Denver Tuesday and Utah
Wednesday. Utah will be No. 3 if it wins its final two games and Denver
loses to Phoenix. If Utah loses to Golden State, then Denver clinches
the division and can be seeded no worse than fourth … but if Denver
loses and Utah beats Golden State then the Nuggets can’t be a top-three
seed and would need Phoenix to beat Utah to have home-court advantage.

The complicated riddle that is the NFL regular-season schedule has
not been solved yet, and all we know for sure at this point is it will
be out before the NFL draft begins next Thursday night in New York City.</p>
League
schedule-makers continue to work on the 256-game slate, and a league
spokesman confirms to SI.com that the NFL now hopes to announce it by
"later this week or early next week."</p><div id="TixyyLink" style="border: medium none ; overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;">HURRY THE **** UP!!!

Eli Manning says he didn’t put much stock in Osi Umenyiora’s recent
verbal tiff with the Giants because the All-Pro defensive end has “said
some dumb things before.”</p>
Manning feels his suspicions have been
confirmed by Umenyiora’s demeanor and work ethic during the Giants’
offseason program that began last month.</p>
Like the rest of an
angry Big Blue, Manning said Umenyiora appears determined to bounce
back from a miserably disappointing 2009 season.</p>
“If you have a
rough season like the Giants did last year, you get frustrated and say
some things that you don’t really mean, and I think that was just part
of that,” Manning said of Umenyiora’s threat to retire if coach Tom
Coughlin didn’t guarantee him a starting job.</p>

“A little frustration set in, but I think [Umenyiora] is past that,”
Manning continued. “I think he’ll have a great year and a great
attitude. He was coming off an injury, and that takes time to heal up.
By this year, he’ll be as good as new.”</p>
Manning said Umenyiora
has been one of the most vocal participants in the offseason program,
leading the quarterback to predict a big bounce-back for his talkative
teammate.</p>
“He’s been at the facility, he’s been working hard,
showing great enthusiasm and energy,” Manning said tonight during a
promotional appearance in SoHo. “Osi’s been his same self, smiling and
in good spirits. He’s ready to have a big season for us. I don’t think
there’s anything to talk about, other than him being ready to go.”</p>
Manning
said he feels the same about himself and the rest of the Giants, who
are still smarting from last year’s 8-8 swoon just two seasons after
winning the Super Bowl.</p>
“It’s not anger,” Manning said. “Guys
were just itching to get back. I started getting the calls and the text
messages [from teammates] a couple of weeks before they started, which
was different. Everybody wants to get that bad taste out of their
mouth.”</p>
Manning said he is confident the Giants can do that,
thanks in part to a change in coordinators and the addition of two
talented safeties in Antrelle Rolle and Deon Grant to a porous defense
that nearly set the franchise record for points allowed.</p>
Big Blue certainly hasn’t lost its swagger, Manning said.</p>
“We
have the right guys and the right players, a lot of talent on both
sides of the ball,” Manning said. “It’s just a matter of putting
everything together and having the right chemistry that we really
didn’t have last year.”</p>
That inward focus is one reason why
Manning appeared unfazed by NFC East rival Washington instantly
upgrading with the Donovan McNabb trade earlier this month.</p>
“That’s
football -- there will be teams that go out there every year and get
guys,” Manning said. “That was a big move, but I don’t pay a whole lot
of attention to it. The [NFC] East is always tough.”</p><div id="TixyyLink" style="border: medium none ; overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;">

because they aren't going to change over the total philosophy of the offense... there are going to prolly be more passes thrown in miami than last year, but prolly less opportunities for Marshall personally

Yeah your right, winning the AFC East is terrible. Do your research bro.
Also before Ronnie Brown went down last year they were doing very well and had a shot to make the playoffs 2 years in a row.

<font color="#0000ff" size="4">CRAZIEST STORY OF THE YEAR!!!</font>
Jacoby Laquan Smith says he will turn himself in to St. Paul police this
week for what must be the most unmanly crime on record: <a href="http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2010/03/jacoby_laquan_s_1.php">domestically
abusing his armless, legless girlfriend</a>.
Smith allegedly
punched Tiesha Bell in the face 10 times during the March 22 incident
and faces a misdemeanor fifth degree assault charge and a gross
misdemeanor for interfering with a 911 call.
Bell was in no
position to defend herself, being that both hands and both legs were
amputated due to a childhood illness. But Smith says don't let that fool
you--Bell is like a handless, legless Ultimate Fighter.
<span id="default"><span id="MNGi Section">
"She'll swing,
push me down and choke me with her nubs," Smith told (http://www.twincities.com/ci_14780030?source=most_viewed)
the Pioneer Press</span></span>.
<a name="more"></a>
Smith said that prior to the domestic
dispute, Bell was cheating on him.
That's right, Smith was being
cuckolded by a quadruple amputee. That can't be good for the
self-esteem.
He turned on the TV and Bell got mad, he says. She
punched him in the groin with her deadly nub and then proceeded to dowse
him in urine from a bed pan.
Yes, after being cuckolded by the
quadruple amputee, she gave him a golden shower.

Im having a rough morning....
I thought it'd be a great idea to take "pregaming" to another level last night....
We always go to my buddy mike's hockey games....and when we were in high school, before OUR games, we would go to the top of the parking garage, shotgun as many beers as our stomachs could hold, and then go play....well now he just plays, but a bunch of us still do the same thing...so we're waiting for one of my friends to show up....I kill a 6pack, and I call her and im like, yo pick me up 2 40s...
So im half in the bag from drinking a 6 pack in like 15 mins....and then I got these two 40z...
I bring them in the arena(which is obviously against the rules) give the security guard $10(lol...only 10?) to let me keep them....and im drinking these things like I was drinking water after being in the desert for 3 days.....</P>

Marshall a phin?
suuuuuuuucks for him
Why, they almost made the playoffs last year and killed it 2 years ago. Plus to be in Miami. I bet he is so happy. Alot better than playing in Denver, that is for damn sure. I love the way Parcells goes about biz.
lol they didnt "kill it" 2 years ago and they went 7 and 9 last season......
Yeah your right, winning the AFC East is terrible. Do your research bro.
Also before Ronnie Brown went down last year they were doing very well and had a shot to make the playoffs 2 years in a row.
yea barely, plus they had a very soft schedule.
LOL, so that is your excuse? Plus they didn't have anything close to a #1 receiver. You are terrible man, just admit your wrong about your assessment of the Dolphins.
Maybe Pats can chime in on this issue, if anyone knows the Dolphins it's that guy.
Larry Czonkas nose would point one way in the first half, and then it would be crooked the other way in the second half......lol.</P>
They remind me of us....No real big namesbut just a solid team top to bottom..[:D]</P>
Whose thier QB again??? lol. People will know about Chad Henne this year i guess..</P>
yea Henne showed signs last year, but that offense just isn't for a passing game
People said that about you guys last year....How did that play out???
i don't think u could compare the situations. Miami doesn't run a traditional offense and they have Chad Henne back there...
we were so dominant with the run game that we never really had to pass it and we had Superbowl MVP on our team... u remember dont you?
http://www.a1sportscollectibles.com/images/eli-manning-autographed-superbowl-xlii-escape-photo.jpg
[;)]
ahhh so now your a sore winner? Good thing you guys didnt lose.........lol.</P>
I was just comparing how both rely on something other than the passing game..And both have or had big question marks?? regarding thier respective passing games...</P>
About the only thing that can be argued is the quality of both teams starting QB....imo.</P>

<font color="#0000ff" size="4">CRAZIEST STORY OF THE YEAR!!!</font>
Jacoby Laquan Smith says he will turn himself in to St. Paul police this
week for what must be the most unmanly crime on record: <a href="http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2010/03/jacoby_laquan_s_1.php">domestically
abusing his armless, legless girlfriend</a>.
Smith allegedly
punched Tiesha Bell in the face 10 times during the March 22 incident
and faces a misdemeanor fifth degree assault charge and a gross
misdemeanor for interfering with a 911 call.
Bell was in no
position to defend herself, being that both hands and both legs were
amputated due to a childhood illness. But Smith says don't let that fool
you--Bell is like a handless, legless Ultimate Fighter.
<span id="default"><span id="MNGi Section">
"She'll swing,
push me down and choke me with her nubs," Smith told (http://www.twincities.com/ci_14780030?source=most_viewed)
the Pioneer Press</span></span>.
<a name="more"></a>
Smith said that prior to the domestic
dispute, Bell was cheating on him.
That's right, Smith was being
cuckolded by a quadruple amputee. That can't be good for the
self-esteem.
He turned on the TV and Bell got mad, he says. She
punched him in the groin with her deadly nub and then proceeded to dowse
him in urine from a bed pan.
Yes, after being cuckolded by the
quadruple amputee, she gave him a golden shower.
