YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!

Hugo Alfredo Tale- Yax lived on the streets of Jamaica, Queens.
Broke, un employed, estranged from his family, he was too proud to ask
for help. And he got none.

Hugo's final act on this earth was
to save a woman from a knife-wielding mugger, taking the brunt of a
blade meant for a lady whose name he did not know. He died a hero. He
died alone. </p>

Who will cry for him? Silence reigns in a town that
should be awash with tears. </p>

As revealed by a security
videotape obtained by The woman he saved ran into the wind, never looking back or calling
police. </p><div id="TixyyLink" style="overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; border: medium none;">

Then some 25 people strolled past Hugo as he bled to
death. One took a camera-phone picture. Another shook him. Nearly two
hours ticked by as his life ebbed. Dead at 31. And no one called for
help until it was too late. </p><div id="TixyyLink" style="overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; border: medium none;">

Heard about this early this week, It sounds like a pimp was slapping his hoe, but this guy stepped into to stop it, got shanked, then the girl went with the pimp and didn't call the cops.

about the 25 people who passed by him, its NYC, late at night, I must have walked past what I thought were drunken hobo's a thousand times without checking to see if they were stabbed, I understand how people can ignore what looks like a bum passed out drunk on the street, but the Hoe...seriously guy tries to protect you and you don't call 911 after he's stabbed?

It is like a different world down here compared to NY. The drivers are terrible; the water is disgusting, and the Pizza? Let’s say I don't eat the pizza down here. But the weather is nice and the women are.... Beautiful

no way man. and hes not that strong. his speed makes him look stronger. and its not that hes getting stronger, hes wearing out his opponents by sticking a jab in their face and making them chase him. honestly, i thought delahoya beat him and if delahoya was a year or two younger or fought a bit more later in his career he would of beat mayweather. he just looks like the best cause theres really no great welterweight besides him. i think both robinsons could of taken him.

Robinson Cano (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/3880)
has been putting on a hitting clinic for a month, and Mark Teixeira (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/3568)
sees even more in his game. "He's locked in right now," Joe Girardi
said. "He's dangerous; even his outs are hard." As impressive as Cano
was at the plate, it was his highlight-reel play in the third inning
that caused the most postgame buzz. "I told you last year that he should
have won a Gold Glove," Teixeira said. "He's the best defensive second
baseman in baseball."i want to know how he throws like that. its like a flick of his wrist

Also don't sleep on Lewis. I think he has hit more 3's than anyone in the last 2 years. I truly think Orlando will beat Cleveland in 5 if not 6. Remember last year they would have got swept if Lebron didn't hit that 3. The Cavs added Shaq ( whoooooa noooo ) and the Magic added VC plus everyone else got more experience. They also didn't have Jameer last year and still worked them. Personally I would love to see the Celtics knock the Cavs out.

Yes and yes.

"He blow dries," confirmed Dudley. "All the time."

Can he, shower, dress and blow dry that fast?

"Uh huh."

One last question: Are you sure he actually showered?

"100 percent."

i think its no worse than other sports. You have constant teams that are always in it... but theres alot of changeover

you NEVER know whats gonna happen in the east.Celtics and Magic just became top teams the past couple of years... pistons use to dominate and they are nothing now. Nets and 76ers use to contend as well...

West is more consisten with their teams, but I mean this was Thunders first playoff appearance i think

well first of all the nba all star game SUCKS cuz its straight fan voting....
not to mention it's generally meaningless, and they destroy all-star weekend more and more every season. so who cares.

Hey kids, want to know how to play the game the right way. And be respected on and off the field. Just look at these 4 players. I personally like the example Chipper Jones has set.</P>

Quietly assumed 3 different positions in his career..All while becoming the greatest switch hitter the game has ever seen..</P>

Chipper has been a great player for the braves for a long time. Greater then Mantle? I disagree Or Eddie Murray? Thats a very fair arguement with the Mick. Imagine if he would have taken care of himself?</P>

However, im a longtime Braves fan, and i am sticking to my guns....[:P]</P> His bad knee and his alcohol abuse did not help, but he was a great player. Who is your fav brave all time? Dale Murphy was a hell of a player Its a toss up between Spahn, Murphy, Glavine, and Chipper.......If i had to go with one, i guess it would be Chip.

i dont know alot about this DT but the Jones pick in the third was great and everyone everywhere is saying we got good value on Dillard.

couldn't agree more with the JPP pick...

just curious, would u cosider Kiwi as a player that lived up to his first round status as a draft pick?

I think i could make an argument that he was a bust

Two different players. What you're saying is like saying Charles Rogers was a bust so don't take Calvin Johnson.</P>

Kiwi hasn't turned into the star you'd expect a 1st rounder to be, but when osi and tuck were hurt a couple years back, kiwi had himself a pretty good year. I don't think he was ever supposed to dethrone Stray or Osi, but rather be competition with Tuck so that we'd always have that 3DE rotation. Lol but of course Tuck turned out to be the best out of the 3.</P>

The Jets' recently acquired wide

Another station, KDKA, is reporting that the alleged

DeMeco Ryans - Next pick after Mathias

</P>

Well we really only have 4 guys rotating at DE this year, and next year we will most likely only have 3, which is really why I think they took JPP since he currently needs alot of work(supposedly) so that by time we *really* need him to play next year he should be capable of great production, unlike kiwi's mediocre production. </P>

Idk why our guys seemingly get hurt moreso than other teams, but its not isolated to the DL either, think of the years where we've had multiple corner linebacker and WR injuries, not to mention RB injuries. But because the FO is aware of that this pick and the Joseph picksafeguards us in the event that injuriesdo happen our DL is still pretty good, but if we stay relatively healthy then our DL willdominate games for us. Atleast that's the plan.</P>

i dont know alot about this DT but the Jones pick in the third was great and everyone everywhere is saying we got good value on Dillard.

couldn't agree more with the JPP pick...

just curious, would u cosider Kiwi as a player that lived up to his first round status as a draft pick?

I think i could make an argument that he was a bust
i dont think so. hes only played one whole season and he had 8 sacks. think we mis coached him too. imo he could have double digit sacks in multiple seasons if he started.

its hard to make the argument that we went with the right idea and didn't draft Demeco Ryans, i know hindsight is 20/20 but still

like what if this overkill of stacking up the DLine is the wrong way to go... im not sure im in total agreement that its a good way to go...

If you have a playmaker at LB he can pick up some of the slack of his dline
and vise versa if you have a good dline.

"No, I didn't tell him my dad was a pimp," Bryant said in a text
message to ESPN's Ed Werder on Thursday. </p>

According to an SI.com
story posted Friday, which cited two sources familiar with the
situation, Ireland asked Bryant -- during a conversation about Bryant's
upbringing and relationship with family members --- what his father did
for a living when Bryant was growing up, which prompted this exchange:</p>

Dez
Bryant: "My dad was a pimp."</p>

Jeff Ireland: "What did your mom do
[for a living]?"</p>

Bryant: "She worked for my dad."</p>

Ireland:
"Your mom was a prostitute?"</p>

LAS VEGAS -- Few dispute Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s talent. Flashy and
skilled, Mayweather is a supreme boxing technician with undeniable ring
intelligence and sublime defensive skills.</p>

He was reared from the crib to be a fighter -- his father, Floyd Sr.,
was a top professional; uncle and trainer Roger Mayweather was a
two-time world champion; uncle Jeff Mayweather was also an experienced
pro. In 1996, Mayweather claimed an Olympic bronze medal (after being
robbed, many believe, in the semifinals), and he has won world titles in
five weight classes from junior lightweight to junior middleweight.</p>

He
is a lock first-ballot Hall of Famer who reigned as pound-for-pound
king for several years until Manny Pacquiao seized the mantle by
battering a series of notable and naturally bigger men to earn the
position during Mayweather's short-lived retirement in 2008 and part of
2009.</p>

Yet, for all the glory, there remains a glaring
weakness on Mayweather's résumé, one legions of critics point to most
often when he goes off on a rant about being the best fighter of all
time -- the less-than-challenging opposition he has elected to face
since entering a strong welterweight division in 2005.
</p>

"I got respect for Sugar Ray Robinson. I've got respect for Muhammad
Ali," Mayweather said. "But I'm a man just like they're men. I put on my
pants just like they put on their pants. What makes them any better
than I am? Because they fought a thousand fights? In my era, it's
totally different, you know? It's pay-per-view now, so things change.

"Like
I said, Muhammad Ali is one hell of a fighter. But Floyd Mayweather is
the best. Sugar Ray Robinson is one hell of a fighter, but Floyd
Mayweather is the best."</p>

"When I fight guys who they say will give me a tough fight, I can't help
that the fight is so one-sided the fight is boring. That's not my
fault," he said. "It's just that I'm that good. That's not my fault. You
got some fighters that's talented. You got some fighters that are
God-gifted. You got some athletes that's God-gifted. I just happen to be

weakness on Mayweather's résumé, one legions of critics point to most
often when he goes off on a rant about being the best fighter of all
time -- the less-than-challenging opposition he has elected to face
since entering a strong welterweight division in 2005.

"I got respect for Sugar Ray Robinson. I've got respect for Muhammad
Ali," Mayweather said. "But I'm a man just like they're men. I put on my
pants just like they put on their pants. What makes them any better
than I am? Because they fought a thousand fights? In my era, it's
totally different, you know? It's pay-per-view now, so things change.
It's out with the old and in with the new. Things change.</p>

"Like
I said, Muhammad Ali is one hell of a fighter. But Floyd Mayweather is
the best. Sugar Ray Robinson is one hell of a fighter, but Floyd
Mayweather is the best."</p>

"When I fight guys who they say will give me a tough fight, I can't help
that the fight is so one-sided the fight is boring. That's not my
fault," he said. "It's just that I'm that good. That's not my fault. You
got some fighters that's talented. You got some fighters that are
God-gifted. You got some athletes that's God-gifted. I just happen to be
one of those athletes that's God-gifted. That's no different than Kobe
Bryant or LeBron James."
</p>

Despite the storm of criticism, Mayweather, guaranteed $22.5 million
plus a percentage of the pay-per-view take Saturday</p>

He
is a lock first-ballot Hall of Famer who reigned as pound-for-pound
king for several years until Manny Pacquiao seized the mantle by
battering a series of notable and naturally bigger men to earn the
position during Mayweather's short-lived retirement in 2008 and part of
2009.</p>

After watching game 5 I feel great. I also know the team that I have. Just seems like when they want to play they play so good and other times the exact opposite. I would put the odds at us winning tonight at about 55/45. Regardless we will be in the Finals. Take that to the bank...

I know, I hate it

ESPN is all over him 24/7

One of the most poorly written out articles on ESPN, and they have many.

Was the one with Can Lebron play in the NFL?

So I guess since he was good in wait for it.. High School then he can play in the NFL.

I don't care how fast he is or how big, he would not be able to compete in the NFL.

What's all this hooplah about you not being afraid of King James, Shaq and the Cavs....you know just as well as I do that if it's a Cavs/Lakers final, it ain't ending pretty for you.

This is going to be the beginning of the King's reign!!

If Lebron don't bring you back home nothing will. Come back more often you schmuk.

As far as Cavs Lakers, it won't happen cause you won't make it to the Finals. If you get past the Celtics and Magic I will be concerned. That elbow issues is serious, if he falls on that or gets hit it could really set him back. I just don't see it happening bud, sorry.

Sorry about Kentucky to, I know that was a while ago but still. What a let down...

The Celtics might be no more after this year....

<a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=9">Ray
Allen</a> will become a free agent. Doc Rivers may decide he's had
enough. <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=662">Paul
Pierce</a> could become a free agent if he opts out of his current deal.
<a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2367">Tony
Allen</a>, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2782">Nate
Robinson</a> and <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2200">Marquis
Daniels</a> also will be free agents along with <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1021">Brian
Scalabrine</a>, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=242">Michael
Finley</a> and <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3040">Shelden
Williams</a>. Daniels and Robinson were supposed to be key reserves,
but Rivers clearly has lost faith in both of them and their futures in
Boston look dim.

The only players with firm commitments for 2010-11 are <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=261">Kevin
Garnett</a>, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2018">Kendrick
Perkins</a>, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3026">Rajon
Rondo</a>, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3200">Glen
Davis</a> and, ahem, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=883">Rasheed
Wallace</a>.
