ohhh i see.. what you worried about its one less Canucklehead kicking your butt lol

na i just wanted the free win....
I don't know why he's not playing. He seemed to be having as much fun as the rest of us. Well.....not you Matt. Haha!!!!

yea i know i bent over n took it like my name was BLT

i dont get it either Canuck, why the migration
i had a tonne of fun.. that was my secondtime playing ever but to be honest it took away from watching the Giants.. i used to be on the edge ofmy seat when watching the Giants, over the past 2 seasons playin FF i've lost that somewhat, too distracted by scores and how the players are doing.. so in hopes to get that back i'm just sayin no to FF.. but i did say to IBB85 that if you are stuck for one more, i'll join to help out
Last year was the first time I ever watched football games with my computer on my lap.

great isn't it?

My PC hooks up straight into my 50" in the living room, during commercial I just change input and check scores :)

u just gave me an idea for this football season, thank u

No doubt. I was saying the same thing to a buddy....if you put him up against the Cards, Phillies, Reds or the Braves and they would've had a field day with him.

Smart move by the Nats manager, but we'll see how he does against a team with some bats

I agree, the Nats choose the Pirates on purpose. They have one of the worst offensive teams in the NL. Give it time and teams will understand what kind of pitcher he really is.

i wouldn't of been opposed to 14-16.. i'd prefer 12... when u got 14-16 it becomes maybe stretched too thin

besides, i liked the idea of league A and league B... hopfully it goes well then the next year we could add a league C and just have a huge league

It seems like a lot of teams for one league.

that's sorta the point, separates people who actually know their stuff vs people who are just playing around and want all #1 on their team....in a league, consisting of guys (and a girl) who all frequent a NFL Teams website daily, I'd think we all know our stuff so a 14-16 team league would kick ***.

yea but im not sure that is achieved either... mabye for the 14 team, def not the 16

because by that point ur spread so thin that its just going to be whose lucky enough to get the Miles Austin or Steve Smith of their league last year...

because by that point ur spread so thin that its just going to be whose lucky enough to get the Miles Austin or Steve Smith of their league last year...

yea but the truth of the matter is Austin was undrafted in most leagues, he could of been interchanged with 100 other players... it really is luck....

it did work out, but it could of easily just of been a guy that did nothing

in the 10th and beyond: Ricky Williams, Kenny Britt, Steve Smith, Miles Austin, and Caddy Williams

i also have a decision to make... i can keep two keepers

Steve Smith for a 7th round (this is a definite)

then either Brett Farve for a 6th or Ricky Williams for a 5th

i am so sketchy of Farve, i dunno what to do

TO was a bust, but i was just hopful that Edwards could get the ball out to Evans and TO... hes the one that really screwed me..

Slaton I had as a keeper and got actually really good value on him (at the time) with a third round pick. But I was able to trade him while he still had value... dumped him at the perfect time

Caddy was one of the steals of the draft

Fargas, when healthy, was a LEGIT back. He was just more injured last year then i realized

usually when big time players hold out for cash, there is a high injury rate for that following season

so far those three are topping the charts

u never heard that before?

blondie is gonna explain fantasy too u...

pretty much u just draft players and have a starting team and u get points for their stats

I guess the same thing goes for when you select a defense

yea, with defense its how many points they give up u get points for a range of points given up, plus points for turnovers and sacks

Ryan Mathews seems to be the logical choice this year. Will be getting alot of carries in San Diego

yea hes gotta be a favorite, but they got the lil guy there can't think of his name, who wil def cut into his carries

Sprolesyea the chargers running game is a big question mark. not that they run a lot anyway. imo turner ruined blt. i think he could of had +1000 yard season if turner ran the ball. now their pro bowl left tackles holding out for money along with jackson. charger fans want him gone.

No, I was in a pool few years back on picking the winner of the games with the point spread. It took all the fun out every week for me watching football. Weird thing is I think I would do well in fanstasy football, Never done it though

sounds like what pappy said last year

I picked Brown because I love the QB and now they have Brandon Marshall. Look for them to throw a lot more.

na i think thats just gonna take pressure off the run game... open things up for him... thats all teams were defending for and he was still successful. Now Henne is abetter and they just got a stud to loosen the DE up..

i love Ronnie this year...

i guess as much as u can love him, hes mr break down

Marshall is going to eat up 1500 yards and 10 TD's from that offense. How on earth is that going to be good for Ronnie? He's was a huge part of the offenselast year. I'm sure he'll have a nice year, but should be way down in FF points from last year.

ur talkin about team that was like 20th in total offense last year... theres plenty of room for both to coexist... Miami is gonna throw the ball more, but i doubt Marshall hits 1500... if anything its gonna hurt Ricky Williams, give him less opportunities

And lets get real about Henne, i like him and hes constantly getting better, but u ain't relyin on him to throw 4k

it was a run first offense last year. It will be much more of a passing offense this year. Any way you look at it, thats going to hurt Ronnies production from last year. He was a top 5 back last year. I look for him to be between 10 and 20 this year.

they are not changing their whole offensive philosophy just cuz they got MArshall

they are actually mimicking what the GIants did with Plax, except Henne isn't Eli

You will see less Wildcat and more passing. I don't think that represents a complets change in philosophy, just more emphasis on the passing game as the QB develops.

They didn't bring Brandon Marshall in and pay him all that money to block downfield in the wildcat.

Trust me on this.

Hey, the kid is great. You know I love him. But I look for him to a bit down in FF points from last year. Not a lot down, but still down. More so in the passing game, where he got so many points. Less dumping off, more passes downfield to Bolden and Stallworth.

Lamar needs to buck up. He is getting dominated. We need Bynum in there. I felt like we were right there and we could not get over the hump. That was also a charge on Bryant by Pierce late in the game. The 2 T's we missed and the KG jumper at halftime were 4 big points we could have used.

Just saw the Sox highlights. That was brutal.

Ronnie missed several games at the end of the season. When he was healthy he was a top 5 producer for RB's in FF.

9 games 600 yards rushing really isn't amazing numbers its very good..

he is a goalline guy that juices his numbers and then he gets those throwing yards, plus hes a decent pass catcher

So you're agreeing with me.

i think u may be right overall, but not due to Marshall...

that offense needs alot more offense and they are getting that with Marshall...

i think its more along the lines of Ricky emerging and Ronnie brean broken down

Lamar needs to buck up. He is getting dominated. We need Bynum in there. I felt like we were right there and we could not get over the hump. That was also a charge on Bryant by Pierce late in the game. The 2 T's we missed and the KG jumper at halftime were 4 big points we could have used.

Down 1 with 2 outs and no one on in the top of the ninth. (Game over, we lose)

Drew gets HBP and then Beltre hits a 2 out, 2 run HR to put us up. (Game over we win)

Bottom of the ninth, Bard gets the bases loaded with no one out, (Game over, we lose)

yea but the guy looked so flustered all of the time last season...not to mention he's the easiest QB in the league to frustrate and literally take out of the game mentally.
And with a totally deteriorated defense, ALL EYES ON CUTLER....which usually he likes, but not when all the pressure is solely on him.
