Whats good everyone,?!?!?!

I must say, I dont like this Bullock pick up.... IMO its just gonna hinder the progress of our younger guys, that is unless he's gonna be a backup for us. Hell he just tore his ACL in december

whoever should play will play. I dont think Goff was ready, GWilk is a joke (we all know this), Dillard is just a pipe dream and a fan favorite

ya know, I really think that this Mike Vick shooting this is crazy..

I just heard Andy Reid say something to the effect that "Mike is anice guy you just have to watch what position you put urself in. I think he gets that"

Does he really? He was chilling with guys that he did the dog fighting thing with and then one of them ended up being shot at a party he was at or whatever.

My question is, do u really think he gets it>?

So T.O. might be coming to NY, man if the Jets do well this year it will totally destroy all that "Locker-room" and "Attitude" crap that was swirling around after our SB win.

lol where did u get that from, its lookin like Cincy... Jets have Braylon, Holmes, n Cotchery, they ain't gettin TO

It's like 50/50 could be Cincy could be the Jets...Cincy gave him till Wed, well see.
hes either going to cincy or the rams. no way hell be a jet

i think rams are out too, i dont think he'd go there

I dont get how Carolina or Chicago isn't in the mix.. it really doesn't make sense to me

Right now Giradi is picking the guys who can get the job done. Joba is too eratic.i agree. but i still feel bad for joba. the steins and girardi really ****ed him.

Man you guys are slow on your football news, Adam Shefter Confirmed that the jets were looking into TO like hours ago.

I'm not saying they are "definitely" going to get him, but it seems to be between Cincy and the Jets at the moment...

na its BS

reportedly 6 mil? Revis an dMangold will go ape ****.. thats the one thing I'll agree with Tucker about today

but that's sorta my point, just imagine they "do" go though with this, and then win the SB (I know it's a stretch) but all those people talking about "attitude" and "Locker Room" etc etc etc... what would they say about that.

The fact that u'd even side with Posada on being mad about splitting time with Cervelli is mind blowing. Let Jorge start to get use to the DH position because he us PUTRID behind the plate.

LoL and the fact that ur sucking that NY media **** of info is annoying as well. He always said he wanted to manage in his home town, he said that forever. This is all just speculation because Lou is retiring. Your off ur rocker

I've been away fro a few hours and I have to respond to two things I've read from this morning here.

1. Joe Torre had nothing to do with Joba rules. He would have loved to throw him out there whenever he could. That decision came from the FO. It was actually a negotioation between the FO and Torre to allow him to pitch more innings later in the season and playoffs. Torre had to fight for that.

2, Adam Schein isgreat. He's the most enjoyable commentator on Sirius NFL. He's bold, he backs up his points with logic and he's always pumped up. Mostly, he's interesting.

I may not always agree, but he's fun to listen to.

I guess some of you guys need people to always agree with you to find them acceptable.....pathetic.

Geez! Do you guys eat your own? I'm a Sox fan and as far as I'm concerened, Posada is one of the great all time Yankees.

No appreciation from Yankee fans.

who said that he wasn't all time great? Who said that he wasn't once servicable behind the plate?

Dont put words in my mouth, these past few years hes been a liability behind the plate. Any REALIST will tell u this, not a homer or somebody that doesn't watch the yanks all the time

Well then u put it on the FO... but its just as much on girardi as it was torre

these Joba is gonna be the starter talks happened under torre's reign

Schien is a moron who thought we were gonna trade for Tony Gonzalez and his voice is obnoxious

SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal) tight end Martellus Bennett (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11295) apologized Monday after nude photos of him surfaced on the Internet.

"These pictures were taken four years ago and placed on the Internet

Justin Tuck had some interesting remarks on new defensive coordinator Perry Fewell in an interview with the New York Post:[/list]

“You can tell he loves what he’s doing, he has that fire
about him, like he really loves defense. I think that is contagious.
I’ve seen him lead a safety or corner into the end zone after a pick in
practice. . . . Bill (Sheridan) would high-five us, but it sometimes
didn’t feel like he wanted to be there.”

And on former defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan:

“Bill got stagnant in his play calling. We didn’t do a
lot of adjustments last year. We kinda played individual ball a lot, me
included. It made it easy for teams to single us out and block us. It’s
hard to keep your attitude high all year long, especially when you’re
losing, call it what it is Coach Sheridan is not a rah-rah guy. He’s not
going to bring energy to the game. Sometimes it’s hard to get behind a
guy like that.”

i dunno why u guys are making me do this, but i have to now...

no we wouldn't, but lets also be real about Posadas part in this all

1996 - Posada played 8 games

1998 - Posada had the better half of the split, but still wasn't even our full time catcher. 111 to Girardis 78 games

1999- Same story as 98

2004 thru 2006 there were talks of him being done period.

Nobody is denying how great Posada has been, but its all about his bat. Hes known as one of the best hitting catchers in the game. His fielding was never great and has seriously diminished

whats 4 of 15?

And yes it is in the amount of games hes caught this year vs the leagues absolute worst with passed balls hes right there with him
im going out on a limb here, but whoooo gives a **** about that stupid stat. lol
where is all this anti pasadism coming from?

its not anti-posadaism.. he just sucks behind the plate

i can't even believe ur saying he doesnt. U got ur homer shades on, seeing pinstripes..

dont worry im not an enemy, i dont like the red sox or mets, u can be honest
its got nothing to do with homerism. the guys a horse and has been a horse and hes more then serviceable at catcher. youve been sippin hateraid today.

by the way posada threw out 2 guys last week

he also has one of the worst throw out percentages in the league and is currently holding the title for most passed balls out of any active catcher
posada is also one of the leading catchers to see the most pitchers over his career. majority of those pitchers throw off speed stuff. thats a lame stat. what are you trying to say matt? posada cant catch anymore, or shouldnt?

i say Cervelli is the futur ebehind the plate. His role will increase due to POsadas limitations back there

stop with the off speed stuff. Yankees are the only pitchers that throw offspeed? Thats relaly your argument?

He was never even a catcher, they just made him one. Ridiculous argument by u right now.

And if what u say is true how come cervellis numbers are much better?
of course cervellis the future. posada wont last forever. no my "relaly" was hes caught for over 200 pitchers man a good majority of whom liked throwing breaking balls. how many perfect games has he called? hmmm? ehhh? come again, i cant hear you.

let me see these worthless fielding stats your looking at.

baseball reference my friend

u can do some leg work i closed it out already

he caught 42 games this year and gave up 42 stolen bases and threw out like 8.

He also played in about half the games of the every day catchers who lead the league in passed balls with 9 and he has 4...

well u seem to be confusing passed balls with wild pitches by the way... u know theres a difference right? I would love to hear again your theory on yankees being the only time that throw off speed stuff and its wild pitches getting rung up as passed balls as to why his stats suck...

hes thrown out 8 runners and gave up 42 SBs lol thats awful

no we wouldn't, but lets also be real about Posadas part in this all

1996 - Posada played 8 games

1998 - Posada had the better half of the split, but still wasn't even our full time catcher. 111 to Girardis 78 games

1999- Same story as 98

2004 thru 2006 there were talks of him being done period.

Nobody is denying how great Posada has been, but its all about his bat. Hes known as one of the best hitting catchers in the game. His fielding was never great and has seriously diminished

thats funny cause in 2006 was his best year throwing people out. think he was tops in the league. 2004-2006 he did pretty good throwing out runners and had over 120 hits each season sooo why would anyone think that? thats almost a hit a game.

120 hits throughout 140 games is pretty good, especially for a catcher

this coming from the same guy "batting average is nothing, on base percentage is where its at" ?
well his obp was 400 in 2004, 05 probably his worst year but still not too bad .352 obp, 06 had 23 homers, 2nd most in his career with obp of .375. 07 he makes the all star game, comes in 6th for mvp and earns a silver slugger.

And to think there were some 'wild thinkers' who wanted him on our team. This isnt like Shaun Rodgers, Kris Jenkins, or Casey Hampton coming into camp outta shape, he's a damned rook!!!

I agree. I think Matt already bought some tickets to this game somehow. Not sure about that....

If not seats by each other then at least seats in the same section if possible. That way we would be relatively close.

I feel bad for whoever sits between Matt and Morehead.

I would not put him in the elite catagory yet.

Jeff George had some good seasons, and no one in there right mind will say he is considered an elite QB.

Not comparing the 2 qb's just saying numbers are not everything when it comes to a QB.

listen i KNOW u like him. I like him too

the fact that u'd say MAYBE behind Breez is beyond foolish and takes away from any decent points u'd have.

at the end of the day its a loss no matter how many TDs he threw...

i like him, but for someone that is so tight assed to call a team a dynasty and things of that nature, it was very out of the pappy realm to say Rodgers is elite

u got to win to be elite... not win it all, but i'd say somebody needs to have AT LEAST a couple of playoff wins to be considered elite
true your right. but you saw the numbers he put up in his first game in the playoffs. dudes the real deal

The Toronto Blue Jays (http://www.kffl.com/team/70/mlb) asked for New York Yankees (http://www.kffl.com/team/60/mlb) RP Joba Chamberlain (http://www.kffl.com/player/15919/mlb) or C Jesus Montero (http://www.kffl.com/player/14496/mlb) for RP Scott Downs (http://www.kffl.com/player/4766/mlb), the New York Post's George A.

I would not do that trade, even if there was a gun to my headwhich one, the Joba or Jesus or either..

why not? isn't that the Yanks MO.. sell out the future for the present?
Both, they have been getting better with trading away there youth. I think Jesus can be a good player in the bigs. It's just the matter of where to put him.indeed.. i was hopingthe Jays worked adeal, Halladay for Jesus and Austin Jackson.. but i guess the price was to steep so you traded Jackson for Granderson lol

but dude ur not elite just because of 2 really good season with no wins...

Breez has **** on those numbers before he won the superbowl and he still wasn't considered elite by alot

I love it man. Those to going at each other in Orlando was great. When he faked the ball at Kobe and he didn't even blink. I will never forget that. lol Plus we got Blake to replace Farmar and Ratliff to replace a 2nd year player. We are a better team this year than the last 2 years for sure. It just sucks that before the season even starts you know who is going to be in the Finals.

"This kind of has already spread like wild fire, but Kobe told me one day,
'

Anyone crazy enough to [expletive] mess with me is crazy enough to
play with me,' and he said, 'Let's get it done,'" Barnes said.

Ellen
and her husband Bob went for counseling after 25 years of
marriage.

When asked what the problem was, Ellen went into a
passionate, painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the
25 years they had been married.

She went on and on and on: neglect,
lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an
entire laundry list of unmet needs she had endured over the course of
their marriage.

Finally, after allowing this to go on for a
sufficient length of time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk
and after asking Ellen to stand, embraced her, unbuttoned her blouse and
bra, put his hands on her breasts and massaged them thoroughly, while
kissing her passionately as her husband Bob watched with a raised
eyebrow!

Ellen shut up, buttoned up her blouse, and
quietly sat down while basking in the glow of being highly
aroused.

The therapist turned to Bob and said, 'This is what your
wife needs at least three times a week.. Can you do this?'

Bob
thought for a moment and replied, 'Well, I can drop her off here on
Mondays and Fridays, but on Wednesday, IFISH.

So theres a guy, a girl, n a guy who are all auditioning to be a lion tamer.

So the boss tells the first guy to go in the cage and show what he can do. So the first guy walks in, grabs the chair and the whip and does he thing. He does a pretty good job and leaves the cage.

The boss says "alrite, good job. Very impressive." So he turns to the girl and says alright, lets see what you can do. So the chick walks into the cage, strips naked lays on her back and goes spread eagle. The lion sees her and creeps down and slowly crawls towards her. The lion finally gets to her, sniffs around, and starts eating her *****. The lion finishes and goes to the other side of the cage. The girl gets up puts her clothes on and walks out of the cage.

The Boss, has amazed says "Wow that was great!", he then turns to the third guy and says "Do you think you could do a better job?"

The third guy says "Yea, but your ognna have to get the lion the **** out of the cage"

"Too flashy. I didn't know that's in the rulebook," Wilson said. "Oh it's not in the rulebook. The fact that (Rodriguez) thinks these shoes throw 97 to 100 with cut might be a little far fetched. I guess we should have these checked as performance-enhancing shoes."
