great sounding horrible stage show...

saw them at Continental a couple of years back, musically, they sounded sick. Maynard stands in the back next to the drums, doesn't move, in the dark, no stage presence. They suck to visually see. Then they just loop all that tool **** thats like in their videos wtih the crazy stuff..... just no connection...

then i saw them at PNC, which is the worst place to see a show IMO... General Admission should NEVER be anywhere but rigiht in front of the stage.

But they didn't even do Aenima, which was the butter song. Maynard walked off stage for 15 minutes prolly to shoot up, let the guitars and basses ring for like the whole 15 minutes on the wa wa...

just sick of the over the top artsy feel...

if they came balls out and put a REAL show on i'd enjoy it...

I mean see them once and judge for urself... musically tight as hell, everything else sucks. So figure might as well just stay home and listen the CDs and buy a 6 pack for hte price of 1 beer

we used to do something called the Braveheart at the "battle of the bands" type shows my friends band used to go to in Red bank and all over Northern Jersey, I used to get the crowd ready for a particular song my friends band used to play and set up rows of people on either side of the dance floor and then we'd charge full speed at each other on a certain note...that used to be a blast, you braveheart in and then you mosh/skank whatever ...song was like 1:25 seconds long and I'd be fing burned out after it every time.

when i say connection, i mean connection to the crowd, the stage presence, the something extra that makes it special being at a show rather than listening to the radio.

They try to make up for their brutal show by having all those crazy animations up, its a failed attempt in my view.

And no i've seen them twice. Once at Continental and once at PNC.

musically they may even have a better sound live.. but to say their live show is better than Rages, is crazy

besides simply being attracted physically to someone its good to also have common hobbies and to like similar things, I suppose because I want my "Serious GF" to like the things I like so we have some common ground I'm being shallow.

I don't want to drink less, I understand other people think its some big horrible thing to get drunk...trust me, I know that, but then I look at my parents, and my uncles and aunts, they are all bigger drinkers then I am, they are all married to drinkers, they all are pretty happily married I'd say...they all have successful lives...why should I stop doing something just because "Other people" say its bad.

I'm desensitized man...was a long time ago, infact, 2 weeks ago a guy I knew for about 20 years died from Liver and Esophagus cancer (he was 62) It's sad....It's not gonna make me stop drinking or smoking though.

Problem at the arts festival was that there wasn't a lot of people there,

I think that's more likely a problem with Delaware then whatever festival it was [:P]
