We're having a big time air show at Barnes AFB this weekend. looking forward to it. Looks like nice weather.</p>

Actually those are F-15's not F-16's. I believe F-16's are single engine. these are dual.</p>you are correct sir. look at morehead, knowing his jets.
when i was like in 7th and 8th grade i wanted to be an aviator(before leonardo dicaprio made it cool).

From Matthew Berry of ESPN

New York Giants (javascript:newWin('http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyg/new-york-giants')): Ahmad Bradshaw (javascript:newWin('http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?playerId=10693')) has a better fantasy year than the guy going seven rounds ahead of him, Brandon Jacobs (javascript:newWin('http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?playerId=8524')). My thinking: I can actually see. Bradshaw is the better player and it's not close.

<h3>Three Observations</h3>

1. Regarding the change in defensive coordinators from Bill Sheridan to Perry Fewell, can you say, "breath of fresh air?'' Talked to Osi Umenyiora (I think he still has Sheridan's shoeprint on the back of his pants) and Justin Tuck,
and both feel Fewell's strength will be analyzing strengths and
weakness of every player and putting them in the best position to make
plays. Even if that means making Umenyiora not an every-down players (I
do expect him to start off playing first down, but that may change),
Fewell won't be afraid to make the changes he thinks he needs to make.</p>

2. I've always said Tom Coughlin
is one of the four or five coaches I'd want to play for if I were a
free-agent trying to make an NFL roster. He goes by what he sees.
That's why I think Victor Cruz will break into a deep receiver group somehow -- even if it means cutting a vet with promise like Sinorice Moss. Then again, haven't we been writing about Moss as a promising player for five camps now?</p>

3. Chris Canty,
a waste last year because of injury, knows he's vital to the success of
the Giants front. He's healthy, coming off a strong offseason, and I
expect him to be a 70-percent-of-the-snaps player all over the front
four.</p> <h3>New Face, New Place</h3>

I call the Antrel Rolle acquisition the "C.C. Brown Memorial Signing,'' because it's obvious the Giants were sick of injuries (Kenny Phillips
especially) and marginal players (like Brown) manning the safety spot
for them. Rolle, the ex-Cardinal, has had an active camp -- he picked a
pass off the day I was there -- and the Giants hope to pair him with
Phillips if the latter is able; Phillips is coming off knee
microfracture surgery, and they don't sell insurance for that kind of
injury. Rolle looks slim for a safety. Still looks like he could play
corner, the position he played 'til moving as a Cardinal in 2008. He
moves very well, obviously, and will be a center fielder on the back
line. He'd better be, for $5.4 million a year.</p> <h3>Rookie Report</h3>

Defensive tackle Linval Joseph <font color="#0000ff">(Moreheads Boy)</font>
is the most impressive draft choice in camp. The Giants had good depth
on the line already, but they had Joseph, the 320-pound space-eater
from East Carolina, rated so high in the draft that they honored their
board and added him to the mix. He's shown more quickness than some in
the organization thought he had. I expect him to be a solid member of
the eight-man defensive-line rotation.</p><h3>Parting Shots</h3>

1. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ahmad Bradshaw (4.8 yards per carry on 163 rushes last year) exceed or come very close to the number of carries for Brandon Jacobs (3.7, 224). If Bradshaw stays healthy, they'll feed him more.</p>

2. Defensive end Dave Tollefson
had such a good offseason and is having such a good summer in camp that
the Giants are going to have to find snaps for him in the line rotation.</p>

3. The Giants want 2009 second-round pick Will Beatty to push, and perhaps replace, David Diehl
at left tackle. But I don't think Beatty is ready. Diehl might not be
the athlete Beatty is, but he's more reliable, and by the end of camp,
my money's on Diehl to hold off Beatty -- for this year anyway.</p>

4.
Giants have been very beat up in camp. All three interior offensive
linemen were hurt the day I saw them, along with every tight end but Bear Pascoe (what a great name for a tight end -- or for any NFL position, for that matter). Eli Manning was rendered nearly headless the other night against the Jets. It's been a very frustrating camp for Tom Coughlin.</p>

5. Everyone in camp loves Ramses Barden's
potential, and how the 6-6 receiver from Cal Poly goes up for the ball
so physically and athletically. If you've got a slot on your fantasy
team for a breakout receiver, and Barden's there in the later rounds,
go for him.</p><div style="border: medium none ; overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;">

The way I look at Beckett is that he's still going through his spring training. He was out for a long time. Last night he pitched great for 5 innings and then hit a wall.</P>

And yes, that contract is probematical. I assume he will come back strong next year. The good news is that we have probably 2 of the top 5 pitchers in baseball in our rotation without him. If he comes back "Beckettlike" we're in good shape.</P>

Douglas Adams is a hilarious guy.

This actually did happen to a real person, and the real person is me.
I had gone to catch a train. This was April 1976, in Cambridge, U.K. I
was a bit early for the train. I’d gotten the time of the train wrong. I
went to get myself a newspaper to do the crossword, and a cup of coffee
and a packet of cookies. I went and sat at a table. I want you to
picture the scene. It’s very important that you get this very clear in
your mind. Here’s the table, newspaper, cup of coffee, packet of
cookies. There’s a guy sitting opposite me, perfectly ordinary-looking
guy wearing a business suit, carrying a briefcase. It didn’t look like
he was going to do anything weird. What he did was this: he suddenly
leaned across, picked up the packet of cookies, tore it open, took one
out, and ate it.

Now this, I have to say, is the sort of thing the British are very bad
at dealing with. There’s nothing in our background, upbringing, or
education that teaches you how to deal with someone who in broad
daylight has just stolen your cookies. You know what would happen if
this had been South Central Los Angeles. There would have very quickly
been gunfire, helicopters coming in, CNN, you know… But in the end, I
did what any red-blooded Englishman would do: I ignored it. And I stared
at the newspaper, took a sip of coffee, tried to do aclue in the
newspaper, couldn’t do anything, and thought, What am I going to do?</p>

In the end I thought Nothing for it, I’ll just have to go for it,
and I tried very hard not to notice the fact that the packet was
already mysteriously opened. I took out a cookie for myself. I thought, That settled him.
But it hadn’t because a moment or two later he did it again. He took
another cookie. Having not mentioned it the first time, it was somehow
even harder to raise the subject the second time around. “Excuse me, I
couldn’t help but notice…” I mean, it doesn’t really work. </p>

We went through the whole packet like this. When I say the whole
packet, I mean there were only about eight cookies, but it felt like a
lifetime. He took one, I took one, he took one, I took one. Finally,
when we got to the end, he stood up and walked away. Well, we exchanged
meaningful looks, then he walked away, and I breathed a sigh of relief
and st back.</p>

A moment or two later the train was coming in, so I tossed back the
rest of my coffee, stood up, picked up the newspaper, and underneath the
newspaper were my cookies. The thing I like particularly about this
story is the sensation that somewhere in England there has been
wandering around for the last quarter-century a perfectly ordinary guy
who’s had the same exact story, only he doesn’t have the punch line.</p>

There’s nothing in our background, upbringing, or education that teaches you how to deal with someone who in broad daylight has just stolen your cookies. You know what would happen if this had been South Central Los Angeles. There would have very quickly been gunfire, helicopters coming in, CNN, you know… But in the end, I did what any red-blooded Englishman would do: I ignored it. And I stared at the newspaper, took a sip of coffee, tried to do aclue in the newspaper, couldn’t do anything, and thought, What am I going to do?</P>

In the end I thought Nothing for it, I’ll just have to go for it, and I tried very hard not to notice the fact that the packet was already mysteriously opened. I took out a cookie for myself. I thought, That settled him. But it hadn’t because a moment or two later he did it again. He took another cookie. Having not mentioned it the first time, it was somehow even harder to raise the subject the second time around. “Excuse me, I couldn’t help but notice…” I mean, it doesn’t really work. </P>

We went through the whole packet like this. When I say the whole packet, I mean there were only about eight cookies, but it felt like a lifetime. He took one, I took one, he took one, I took one. Finally, when we got to the end, he stood up and walked away. Well, we exchanged meaningful looks, then he walked away, and I breathed a sigh of relief and st back.</P>

A moment or two later the train was coming in, so I tossed back the rest of my coffee, stood up, picked up the newspaper, and underneath the newspaper were my cookies. The thing I like particularly about this story is the sensation that somewhere in England there has been wandering around for the last quarter-century a perfectly ordinary guy who’s had the same exact story, only he doesn’t have the punch line.</P>

1. Love Randy, especially at 10</P>

2. Hate Deangelo. Will lose more and more carries to Stewart and picks that hight should not go to guys splitting carries.</P>

3.Benson scares me.</P>

4.If it were Carolina's SS it would be great. Our guy will not score that much. Nicks is actually a better pick there.</P>

5. A little high for TJ</P>

6.Good pick with Forte</P>

7.There are no words how much I hate Braylon. I'm really not sure I'd take him in the 15th round if he was still there.</P>

Where's your backup QB. Eli's a nice pick in the 8th put you gotta have a guy to offset with him based on matchup. (just my stupid opinion)</P>

Also for the record...I love the Andrews signing. At one point he was the best lineman the Eagles had. Back issues were big for him and then I guess he got depressed from not being able to play. If this guy can get back to half of the player he was in his best days then we will be loving it. Plus Beatty doesn't seem as ready as the team would like him.

You read Bill Simmons?

My theory: I think Kobe's postgame routine got back to Shaq. I think it
pissed him off. I think it got his competitive juices flowing for the
first time in years. I think he realized Boston was his best chance to
tie Kobe at five. I think he wants this more than anything. I think he
shows up next month in surprisingly good shape, and I think we'll be
saying in November, "Wow, that Shaq signing may have been a great move
by Boston!" And I think this will happen for only one reason: because
Shaq hates Kobe and Kobe hates Shaq. Just a theory.

I like Breaston as a 4th or 5th WR. He should be pretty productive for that spot. (Maybe 800 yards and 6 or 7 TD's. I believe he has 1000 yards in 08 but fell away lasy year. With Bolden gone that should help but Leinert is a problem.</P>

Reese and Coughlin saw a guy desperate for one last opportunity and
decided to take the risk. And it's probably not much of a risk since
it's a six-year "prove it" contract, according to the player's agent.

"I'm laying it all on the line," the 27-year-old Andrews said Friday.
"Not that I haven't before but this is it. The Giants are going to get
everything from me. The back is feeling pretty good. I've been working
hard. Going hard. Not that I never worked hard in my life but this is my
last attempt at it. I'm going all out. I'm selling out right now."

If
Andrews is starting in Week 1, that would not be a good sign for the
Giants. He'll likely line up at left guard, although Coughlin left the
door open for him playing every position other than center. Andrews'
goals for his return are off the charts.

You read Bill Simmons?

My theory: I think Kobe's postgame routine got back to Shaq. I think it pissed him off. I think it got his competitive juices flowing for the first time in years. I think he realized Boston was his best chance to tie Kobe at five. I think he wants this more than anything. I think he shows up next month in surprisingly good shape, and I think we'll be saying in November, "Wow, that Shaq signing may have been a great move by Boston!" And I think this will happen for only one reason: because Shaq hates Kobe and Kobe hates Shaq. Just a theory.
</P>

i do read him! but i did not finish that article this morning, got sidetracked.
I buy into that theory by the way...kinda...
I'm sure it's def his competitive nature overcoming his thoughts that he is nowhere close to his perfomance levelof 4-5 years ago or so...so for him it's where do I have the best shot to win again....that isnt LA, Miami or Orlando...lol</P>

i doint know...what does Shaq reallyhave to prove?!?!? Everyone knows he's one of the 50 greatest players ever, and he's got some bling....so he's set in my book. **** what Kobe says.</P>

Boston or Miami provides a great storyline. I just wish Shaq would call it quits already. Sick of hearing about it already. Then he will start broadcasting. Kobe&gt;Shaq and he can't stand it. lol

he get's open all the time, and now he has santonio holmes on the other side, just saying if he suddenly remembers how to catch...he could put up another 1300 10TD season, obviously that's a BIG if, so yeah late round pick.

That's likely what will happen then, I do plan on going Johnson first unless someone lets one of the top RB's slip, I don't consider Gore or Turner on the same level as CJ/AP/MJD, I'd rather have the absolute best WR then the 5 best RB...after that I Have a plan but don't feel like sharing it :P

Thanks MH I know what you are saying it.. seems like when I draft lets say two wides <A>R2/3</A>which I can probably pick up a couple good ones.. I don't see much at QB in the 4th.. I need to research the QB's some to see whats going to be around at 4 and what my best option is..I probably know the top tengood enough to make a good decisionbut I need to know more about the bottom 10 if you get what I'm saying...I'll pay attention to how the draft is going and whats being taken to gage when to grab a QB my pick in the 4 is 47/50 in the 5th and then then 20 picks later I'm at 70...you see what I'm trying to do...I'll be trying hard...rigth now I'm looking at it like this theplayer rank list at 50.. there's not much left for qbs if it were to go down that way of coarse so at 50 I'm looking at the bottom ten....anyhow thanks that helped my train of throught some...I'd like to think I don't have a one track mind but I might...lol</P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

I don't write very well MH can't spell well so I spell check alot which sidetracks me then Iforget what I'm doing then I start wigging out...just a little.. oh and I would be interested in your throughts on the above draft...</P>

Scrappy, you and I both know that Braylon stinks. The only way he gets drafted in our league is if <u>you </u>draft him in the late rounds out of spite. (which I fully expect)</p>

he get's open all the time, and now he has santonio holmes on the other side, just saying if he suddenly remembers how to catch...he could put up another 1300 10TD season, obviously that's a BIG if, so yeah late round pick.
</p>

If it makes you feel better, Marshall is a mid second round pick. If you pick Andre in the first, (which I suspect you might do) I'll pick Marshall in the second. </p>

Pick your poison.</p>

That's likely what will happen then, I do plan on going Johnson first unless someone lets one of the top RB's slip, I don't consider Gore or Turner on the same level as CJ/AP/MJD, I'd rather have the absolute best WR then the 5 best RB...after that I Have a plan but don't feel like sharing it :P
</p>

Every mock i've been in Andre has been gone at 7. Looks like Gore or Turner for me. Won't go QB that early.</p> Just had MY Actual Draft Yesterday, and had PICK 6 in a 10team PPR league, and i grabbed Andre with Pick 6... Had a pretty darn good draft overall, as a few players came to me late, that probably shoulden't have, ala Devin Arashomadu in RD 15, Mike Wallace in RD 11, and got both Hakeem Nicks and Michael Crabtree.. Also, got Stephen Jackson in RD 3...

QB- Peyton
WR- A.Johnson
WR- TO
WR- Micahel Crabtree
RB- Stephen Jackson
RB- Joseph Addai/Beanie Wells(haven't decided who i'm starting wk 1)
TE- Antonio Gates
K- Tynes
DEF- Ravens
BEN- Nicks
BEN- M.Wallace
BEN- Caddilac Williams
BEN- Addai or Beanie
BEN- Chad Henne
BEN- Devin Arashomadu

What do u think Morehead? Your opinion is greatly Appreciated...

WTF, how in high hell did you pull off 'The Predator' in round 3!?!!??! Those were some clowns you were drafting with, my man.

Im OBVIOUSLY liking the Peyton and AJ picks, SJax in the 3rd is unheard of, Im a fan of the Beanie pick as well as the Nicks picks. and excellent sleeper pick with Arashomadu

Can someone try to explain to me please, why oh WHY people around here, GIANTS FANS, have love for Sinorice Moss?!?! Like I'm really struggling to figure out WHY people still want to see this guy after 4 seasons of absolutely nothing....
If a team does not have a player play, like EVER play....it's for a reason. And i don't see why we intentionally keep dead weight on the roster when we could have replaced him EVERY year with someone better, or AT LEAST someone with potential.
I've ranted about Moss for 2 years on these boards now, and i dont want to come across as a straight hater....but I just don't get it...i really dont...

He is having a great season, so is CC</P>

My opinion of best pitcher this season is Ubaldo Jimenez or Adam Wainwright</P>

</P>

idk about Jimenez...he had a amazing start, but showed he can get rocked for 10 runs on an off day. lol
I'd take Wainwright in the NL fo sho though.
CC is so dominant right now. Even when he isn't K'ing ppl, he's rockin it</P>

</P>

Tim Hudson is having a great year too</P>

Just depends on what games are left I guess. If they have division foes or premier games left then it would be worth the money for sure. Those are probably all sold out. I bet only 2 or 3 games are available for tickets. I am hoping one is the Lions. It might give us the best chance to buy 8-12 seats together. It would be cool to all sit on the same row. Except Dezz of course. ****ing loser. Anyway, just a thought. Ebay or Stubhub might still be the better option but if the Giants only have 1 or 2 losses by that game then tickets could be really expensive. You should check first thing in the morning and see what is available.

Even from the business side of things...you could scoop some tickets at regular price and then sell them on Ebay or Craigs List. Probably turn an easy profit.

yea, i know you guys gimme ****, but im a value for bargain shopper. no higher than mezzanine, and a the price theyve been at for years. and i wont sit 300s unless they are free. useless seats.
