A lot more tix available for Detroit than Dallas or Philly. Just makes it more do-able for more people.</P>

put it this way, last year for the oakland game I got a ticket day of for 120? if I remember correctly in the mezz...like an hour and a half before kickoff in the parking lot...I do that alot, I did it once for a Dallas game, I didn't find anything less then 500$ for upper deck and that was FROM Dallas fans.

Five things you need to know about the Giants:</p>

1. <font color="#0000ff">Ahmad Bradshaw's about to become the best running back in the NFC East:</font>
There, I said it. He has always had the speed and power, but now he's
finally healthy. Bradshaw's a 50-yard run waiting to happen, and I
think the Giants are going to be much better along the offensive line.
Tom Coughlin is going to sell out to establish the running game, and
Bradshaw will be the biggest beneficiary. Brandon Jacobs will still
serve an important role, but he's not the feature back anymore. You
want a prediction on Bradshaw? OK, here it goes: <font color="#0000ff">1,250 yards, 10 TDs. </font></p>

2. Perry Fewell will take this defense back to the Steve Spagnuolo days:
The new defensive coordinator's unit is still a work in progress, but
we're already seeing a more effective pass rush in the preseason.
Justin Tuck was banged up throughout the 2009 season. Now that he's
healthy, he's becoming a vocal presence on and off the field. He has
also gone back to intimidating quarterbacks from various spots along
the line. I love that Fewell is moving around players such as Mathias
Kiwanuka and Osi Umenyiora all the time. This defense isn't going to be
nearly as predictable. </p>

3. Keith Bulluck was an important signing: I know the Titans
were ready to move on without him, but Bulluck is exactly what the
Giants needed. He's a physical presence who has a tremendous amount of
credibility across the league. He may knock Clint Sintim out of a
starting spot at outside linebacker. I didn't know how Bulluck would
function coming off the knee injury, but he's improving with each
practice. He's a high-energy player who will help give the defense an
identity. This is a big-time upgrade over Danny Clark, who actually did
a pretty nice job at times. </p>

4. Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks are equally dangerous: Smith
will have a ton of catches again, but it's Nicks who can break open a
game at any moment. The Giants rival the Eagles in terms of depth at
wide receiver. In fact, they probably have a little more depth with
players such as Victor Cruz making significant moves in camp. Mario
Manningham needs to take the next step and become a more consistent
player. If he's able to do that, the Giants will be as dangerous at
receiver as any team in the league. </p>

5. Antrel Rolle has given the defense a completely different look:
The Giants were held hostage by the safety position after Kenny
Phillips was injured in 2009. The combination of C.C. Brown and Michael
Johnson will give fans nightmares for years. Rolle has brought a
swagger to the back end of the defense. He's an excellent fit for the
locker room and he's poised to have six or seven interceptions. Deon
Grant was also a nice pickup. If Phillips is anything close to 100
percent by the start of the season, the Giants have the chance to be
really good at a position that killed them last season.</p>

some gems from Simmons' QB rankings....

"The good news for Kolb: Philly fans are famously patient and supportive."

"During the latest "Hard Knocks," @KristerJohnson tweeted me, "Mark
Sanchez is the most charismatic, entertaining mediocre QB I've ever
seen." Thought that summed it up."

"This sent me on a furious "Charlie Whitehurst hair" Google image search (http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&amp;q=charlie%20whitehurst%20hair&amp;um=1&amp;ie =UTF-8&amp;source=og&amp;sa=N&amp;tab=wi&amp;biw=1064&amp;bih=543).
Put it this way: Any time a quarterback's photos come popping up along
with images of Barry Gibb, Oded Fehr, Viggo Mortensen, Gregg Allman,
the Prince of Persia and porn star Colt Steele, that's a fun 10 seconds
of Googling. Not to mention the irony of the aging Hasselbeck (bald
since forever) being tested in the preseason by someone with flowing
locks who looks like he'd hit on your girlfriend the moment you left
the room."

"Quarterback platoons are like long-term affairs and repeated threesomes: Eventually, all hell will break loose."

"And he(Rivers) better hope Vincent Jackson doesn't leave -- they were the best
longball combo in the league. On the bright side, Jackson's holdout
could lead to Gus Johnson screaming, "Rivers goes deep for Naanee ...
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOUCHDOWN, LEGEDU
NAA-NEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" Can he just do this anyway? Can CBS just
throw this on its website?)"

"at ESPN's Sundance party during the conference championships, when
Rodgers and his buddies unabashedly rooted against former nemesis Favre
and the Vikings down the stretch and celebrated raucously when New
Orleans pulled it out. Rodgers couldn't have been more delighted; he
did everything but climb on the bar and start a "F--- YOU, FAVRE!"
chant. I will always root for him after that. And yes, that story is
100 percent true."

I've actually played on turf fields numerous times, the only difference I noticed is that I felt alot faster on turf. Making cuts and such didn't cause noticeable slipping for whatever reason.</P>

i dont know how i missed this, but there was a fight at the marlins/nats game the other night i guess...
Nyjer Morgan charged the mound at Chris Volstadt, threw a haymaker, apparently grazed him, and then Gaby Sanchez, the marlins 1B CLOTHESLINED Morgan lol....and thennnn 1992 ROY Pat Listasch(now Nats 3b coach) jumped over Morgan to protect him. lolololol
The video doesnt work when im at work, but id like to see it! haha

I've re-evaluated, I no longer want Leinert. Bomar is better.</P>

He looked like an NFL QB last night. He's got a ways to go but I thought he looked like an acceptable back up.</P>

his release is a lil awkward which is scary, but i've always liked the kid

It was coming out low he tends to side arm it some but hey..I like him he stands in and makes some nice throws...

i like the fact he has legs too...

god forbid eli does go down he can pick up some slack with running
Yeah ...he looks good when he runs...we don't want Eli running but he looks clumsy when he does..the oline looked allot better last night to me.. we still need to tighten up things in themiddle on pass coverage all in all it wasn't a bad night...

Andrews looked awesome from the little i seen of the game last night...

i think hes gonna be a starter

how bout that kid at the end of the game, the WR i forget his name.. decent size and good wheels for that go ahead TD. I know it was garbage time and we're packed at WR but he was getting some balls his way earlier in the game and i thought he looked good to

Calhoun? yeaaaaa, but too little too late. i never saw him on the field till last night. I didn't even know we had a Calhoum...nice catch and run...Man it hard to watch everbody I can't keep all the #'s strait ....and the anounsers sucked.. they were all Pats didn't talk about the giants hardly at all..onetool pronounced his o's to sound like a's.. I don't know why it bothered meso much oh well...</P>

Yeah I think Andrews has a good chance he's was/is a good player I read a nice story on him the other night his heads in the right place hard workinghumble guy..that back holds up we got a player man...</P>

Ha Byron...you crack me up. The "Eli looks clumsy when he runs" comment goes under the understatement of the year award. I do agree, Bomar's ability to get out of the pocket and make plays with his legs is a nice trait in a back up QB.</P> haha... well I didn't want anyone to think I wasthrowing our boy under the bus for his running...but tinkle toe's he's not ...haha.. thats why i'm happy about thepass blockingas much as anything we don't want him getting hurt back there...

he was a regular mike vick on that flea flicker last nigh tlol

Thats how I see it. The only thing that could save DJ is if he returns kicks because Tim Brown was horrible. I'm kinda hoping that the Cowboys cut Patrick Crayton and we can pick him up for his return ability.</P>

Just celebrated his 23rd birthday. Now you REALLY cant cut him........ Just wouldn't be right.. I been meaning to ask you if you remember a band called the Byrds? They were around from like the mid 60s to early 70s. The guitarist in the band came from my home town of Madawaska, Me. and later lived in Lewiston i believe. His original name was Clarence LeBlance but he changed it to Clarence White... I remember the Byrds...Turn ,turn ,turn eight miles high couple I can think of they go back quite aways 60's I believe i had an old eight track of them back in the day don't remember the album..I liked them..didn't know they had a guy from maine in there...dug this up which guy is he in the vid</P>

If you ever get the chance, you should read up on him. He is really one of the most underrated guitarist of all time. He used to play an old 1935 Martin that he souped up, and a old Telecaster. Before him, electric guitar was used mostly just for rythm. He is one of the first, if not the first to play out of rythm with like a lead guitar type of sound. Or as it was called back then " a Twangy type of guitar sound". Really sad that he died the way he did at a young age. Otherwise he probably would have gone down as one of the greatest guitarist..</P>

He left town when i was a young fella and i never seen him play, but i used to listen to some of the other guys he played with in a band up there..That was some great garage music....</P>

Q: So how worried are you about Maurice Jones-Drew (javascript:newWin('http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?playerId=9646'))?</p>

TMR:
Worried. Look, I remember saying earlier this preseason that there
might not be a safer pick in the first round than MJD. He's never
scored fewer than 10 touchdowns in a season, he averages 1,400 total
yards and 14 touchdowns a year. He is a fantasy beast. But that was
before something. I don't know what. Reports of knee surgery were
quickly refuted but he is being held out of, well, everything until the
regular season. I get the games, but not even practice? The fact that
there's so much that's unknown scares the bejeezus out of me. That's
right. Right next to me is a big puddle of bejeezus. I believe, based
on absolutely nothing other than my gut, that the Jaguars are
super-scared about something and there's something important we don't
know here.</p>

Maybe he's fine. Maybe they are just being
super-super-crazy cautious because they can be, and he's all they got.
Maybe the fact is that his knee issues are nothing and he goes out with
another 1,400-yard, 14-touchdown season.</p>

Or maybe, just
maybe, the fact that he averaged 226 touches his first three years in
the league and had 365 last season has caught up with him. Maybe the
unconfirmed rumors of a lateral meniscus tear are true. Maybe they've
learned that whatever it is can't get any worse, so they're gonna run
him till he drops and if he needs surgery at some point this season,
they'll deal with it then. All pure speculation, of course, but you
know what I don't wanna do with my third overall pick? Speculate. I
dropped him to seventh overall, just before Steven Jackson (javascript:newWin('http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?playerId=5549')), another high-upside guy with questions marks.</p>

OH man I used to hate them as well, and that Feely game made it even easier to hate em.

I dunno what their FO is thinking, they have NO offense, seriously their #1 WR is an untested rookie and the rest of the corp are a joke, their QB has been in the league for years and never threw a pass. I dunno bout their line, but their RB situation is on par with the comedy routine down in DC

....Damn those people in Seattle have NOTHING to root for. Their baseball and football teams suck, their basketball team moved overnight, and the closest thing they have to hockey is up in Vancouver and they constantly disappoint, think of the Eagles of the NHL. Usually put up great regular season games but do TERRIBLE in the playoffs

Moss knew it was coming so he intentionally got himself on the IR, LOL

Kinda sucks about Hagan cause he was good on ST and it sucks we let go of Bear Pascoe, that guy had one of the coolest names in Football

</font>Kanye posted nearly 100 tweets in a little over two
hours. It started innocently enough with: "Man I love Twitter... I've
always been at the mercy of the press but no more... The media tried
to demonize me."

Then it moved on to: "Remember in Anchor Man
when Ron Burgandy cursed on air and the entire city turned on him? But
this wasn't a joke. This was &amp; is my real life."

And:
"People tweeted that they wish I was dead... No listen. They wanted me
to die people. I carry that. I smile and take pictures through that."

Then
he finally brought up Taylor: "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's
so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll
perform it for her."

Later: "When I woke up from the crazy
nightmare I looked in the mirror and said GROW UP KANYE ... I take the
responsibility for my actions ...I am not a bad person. Even in that
moment I was only trying to do good but people don't always need my
help ...Beyonce didn't need that. MTV didn't need that and Taylor and
her family friends and fans definitely didn't want or need that."
