Someone please tell me the bet so I can make fun of Daven over it.

both with Blondie,

Foster vs Best straight up (this ones gonna be close still I think, even though Fosters gotten off to a great start)

Bradshaw will be CJ's rookie numbers.

1200+ yards 4.9YPC and 10TD's by the end of the regular season.


Well right now Daven Bradshaw is way ahead of that pace. And Foster will probably beat out Best.

I hope you got odds for both of those bets.

I am sure Benny will get his touches. I dont think Fred Taylors toe is ready to go just yet, and i have to check my sources on whats up with Sammy Morris.

I only caught bits and pieces of the game yesterday but from what i can tell this was a very solid and much needed win for you guys. Your guys really need to get it together here in the next few games, because the December scedule is really going to make or break you guys...imo.

It was him, Portis or Jacobs. Well Jacobs was out before he even got started. I figured Portis would get beat up which he did. He still got 8 points. So did Jacobs. Had I played either I would have won. So I need this guy to get 7. One TD from this guy and I got it. He did have 16 points last week. I believe it's gonna happen.

Honestly Lando, I can only speak for myself but if I had Rivers I would start him every time over Vick. Vick has a high beta, Rivers is a sure 20+ points no matter what. Usually a lot higher. If you have a bad team, I can see taking a chance. You have a very good team. (not as good as mine of course).

With all due respect (and I have a lot of that for your FF skills) I was very surprised you started Vick last week. I figured maybe you liked the home field advantage for Seattle over Rivers. But yesterday with Rivers at home? I was shocked.

Its like I play golf. I make agressive shots but I make consevative decisions. I'm more concerned about the worst that could happen then the best. I control my misses. That same philosophy would enduce me to start Rivers in almost every case as opposed to Vick. I suppose if Rivers was playing the Jets and Vick was playing Detroit, that might be an exception.

But if you have a good team, you need to make sure your QB gets 20 plus points if possible.

He may very well have. We don't know. What we do know is that Rivers is going to throw it all over the place to good receivers (especially Gates) and will almost certainly get a lot of points.

The chance of Rivers getting less than 20 points is very low. Maybe Vicks ceiling is higher, (I disagree, but maybe) but his floor is a lot lower. With a good team, I think you have to go with the (more) sure thing.

Could have got that guy from the Pats. There was stuff he could have done and things that the 10 of us would have done. Kase also played someone that didn't play but his season seams to be over before it got started. lol

Cause he doesn't care to understand that 10 other people are counting on him to pay attention and make basic fantasy football moves. I guess we should have learned from last year. Whatever though, guess we better get used to it. This was the first bye week and he is already ****ing up. lol


yea from now on, just have blondie monitor his lineups on saturday or soemthing. its the only way he's going to be competitive is if someone is making him.

That does nothing. She can't put his players in for him. That is even more unfair. Not to mention picking up and dropping people. It's impossible. He should not have to be babysat. Give his team to someone else now for all I care. It's just irresponsible and a pretty big disappointment. Especially after last year and he said "Oh I promise, I will play, blah blah blah".


Did any of you look at his bench? He literallyhad no one else. At least an inactive player can't get negative points. I had 2 players with negative #'s on my B league team. Still won of course.

Yeah, I did. I don't care he had no one. It's called pick someone up. He should have picked up Ivory from the Saints and would have won. There were plenty of RB's. Could have got that guy from the Pats. There was stuff he could have done and things that the 10 of us would have done. Kase also played someone that didn't play but his season seams to be over before it got started. lol


thats a bull**** excuse. when i heard sjax was prob not playing (even tho he ended up playin) i picked up Kuhn like an hour before kick off.

i'd be one thing if it only happened once or twice and he came here and was like.

"Sorry guys, couldn't get to the site this weekend, won't happen again" or something, I mean, I go out, I know how it can be sometimes, maybe you wake up late maybe you forgot the guy wasn't playing or simply didn't hear about it until it was too late...it happens..but not this often....plus when you call him on it he gets all defensive about it.

haha na i'll keep up but honestly im not in condition to be in a contest i think i've dranke once in the past two months

It's not fun without Carbombs anyhow.... :P

carbombs dont do **** to me, ****ed up wise.. its just so thick in my stomach and doesn't mix well with anything...

but the liqour part of it is overrated

they are tasty, they are fun to do in a crowd.

I've been drinking a lot of that rams piss **** recently, triple of Rangpur and splash of red bull in the rocks glass

what reasons? the fact that they played different positions? what reasons separate the three, they were/are all very good players at their respective positions.

The common thread is that for all 3 when they weren't playing for one reason or another the team did much better...in the first two cases you said it was because these players weren't playing...

what reasoning or logic do you have to say that Tiki and Shockey not being there make the Giants a better team, but Kiwi not being there doesn't?

vs two individuals who played on who showed up their QB both on and off the field, publically and privately. And i say privately because there were TONS of qoutes coming from an unnamed GIants players who were basically identified as both Barber AND shockey once they left...

Two players that put themselves before the team. Even AP said he didn't like Barber

Not everybody, but there obviously wasn't a huge tension within the offense. To deny it just shows how crazy ur sounding with this.

And no i beg to differ, when you have issues and big distractions, NFL teams never win like that. Shockeys issues held him back from gelling with him and in turn had him not showing up to offseason stuff and never being on the same page. But your right, it was totally the same as kiwi

if you guys think that shockey wasnt a distraction youre in denial. its as simple as that. can someone tell me why elis numbers magically increased, during games to make the playoffs, then in the playoffs. not just slowly, DRAMATICALLY! like night and day.
my guess is he didnt have some meat head waving his arms around after eli couldnt find him, or going back to the huddle after every pass attempt saying hey i was open. it deff takes a toll on the qb, especially if hes younger.

that said i wish kiwi was out there the other night, because all of those guys feed off each other and arent trying to show each other up, even with kiwi and osi fighting for the starting job.

shockey/ tiki expected respect, kiwi fights for it.

I did play football, also played Soccer, also played Baseball, still play Softball B-Ball occasionally and as you know I bowl..too much.

I bowl pretty competitively also, on "teams"

playing "as a team" is different, then being best buds off the field, Eli doesn't give a crap what Shockey/Tiki said in some interview somewhere, it literally has zero effect on his play...the fact that you think otherwise devalues alot of the things "you" say.

peewees dont count and theres no sport like football. It does take complete team unity to be successful. Yea im sure Shockey ****tin on Eli in the media had NO effect on him. Shockey waving his arms and showing him up on the field, had NO effect on him. Im sure it was the same type of relationship Eli had with Toomer, that he had with Shockey

Eli's #'s did NOT improve. He had a horrible game against the Bills and then had a nice game vs. NE. Even in the playoffs his #'s were around his average, except for INT's. I assume that was a matter of Eli stepping up his game.

I Don't think Shockey was a distraction really. I think that was all media crap. However, the next off season and into camp it was clear he didn't want to be here, and certainly would have been a distraction if he wasn't moved.

with tiki/shockey they expected respect, so they felt entitled to say whatever they damn well pleased. correct? have you seen that at ALL from kiwi. kiwi hasnt cause one problem since hes been here. hes a starter anywhere else, backs up osi and tuck and STILL keeps his mouth shut. are you seeing where im going with this. its called discipline daven.
