Both have some issues but in a charming way.

Bandy would give his left arm to meet ocho.

Me on the other hand just want to get the best player in the bigs in pinstripes.

Wishful thinking, like your Red Sox prediction last year..

Lashing out now?

I accept you apology.

my question is when is Daven going to play the Daven role?

can't say hes wrong.. in my heart i agree with everything he says
coughlins record and style speaks for itself. rolles really getting annoying. always has an opinion. just stfu and play.

all of a sudden ur a TC guy?

10-6 is bull**** if u can't beat anybody .500 or better

lucky schedule
you know iv always supported tc. to insinuate that some how his firm discipline is causing us to loose games is laughable and a cop out imo.

Real discipline shows itself with disciplined play on the field. I didn't see any of that this year. Did you?
i saw ****ty playcalling, poor execution and players (not including rolle) taking blame for not playing well. you guys can blame tc all you want, but hes not the problem.

lol dude i hate when u take qoutes from players like that and actually believe them. Not for nothing bro Cowboy players were saying the same thing about Wade Phillips. Then when somebody who actually doesn't give the company line like Rolle says something u get pissy...

ur a confused boy
thats your opinion. i dont like rolle cause he runs his mouth and hasnt even been here a year. i havnt liked him since he was crying about fans booing them at half time for a ****ty half. "were like soldiers coming home from war" giiiive me a ****ing break you goon. hes millionaire that plays football. steeler fans were booing their team before the half saturday too. are they bad fans?

TC aint going noooowhereee so deal with it

only cuz of the CBA and ur a fool if u think otherwise...

It's a moot arguement.

And I will say it again, I never said DH, or said he will be a Yankee.

My main arguement was the Cards may not be able to re-sign him.

And the only other team that can afford him is the Yankees.

I have yet to see a fair arguement of the Cards being able to afford him.

All the responses are it's not going to happen, he won't play DH, etc...

Pujols wants a deal before spring training, if it does not happen he has said he will test the free agency.

i dont really care about coughlin's record.
if we arent winning, it's not working.

Rolle just isnt a good interviewee, unlike Eli who just knows what to say and what to avoid...
Rolle just plays into it...so bad...
he knew what type of guy tc was before he signed the contract. he needs to shut his mouth.

TC needs to stop being a stubborn prick. 3 years in a row of underperforming, 2 years of missed playoffs, with 2 of the past 3 years with a superbowl caliber team....

TC got saved by Spags and we all know it. Enough of this loyalty to him. Its enough

The CBA saved Coughlin this year
I agree 100% here.. his way has been a problem ever since he got here ...Management put the fear in him in o7 or when ever and Stray held him to it when Stray left the bridge between players and TChas slowly eroded away and he has regressed.. I feel ...I to believe The CBA played a big partin the decision to keep him...You can have the players respect without being a stubborn prick and an *******.. imo... he just don't know how to do it..because of his prideor what ever... And this was the worst 10/6 season I have ever seen it justdoesn't tell the truestory about their play... Anyhow we are stuck with himand I hope I'm dead wrong about everything...Another year of wasted player talent will be a shame these guyscareers are short enough as it is...I can't tell you how much I want to be wrong .. this parternthey are in sucks you can't sit downwith any confidence that they will play good ball , protect leadwhen they have one, or run the clock outwhen they need to...whatever...my hope ishe either gets it or something changes to wash all these thoughts I have away...my badhere but its how Ifeel...tell me something when your happydoes your swag shine and fell like you got the world by the balls...happy players is not a bad thing

I got it now..

suggesting that Pujos in any way shape or form would be even semi okay with being a DH....

and then thinking its a realistic possibility he'd come here at all is ridiculous.

In reality theres no shot at it.

Pujols wants a deal before spring training, if it does not happen he has said he will test the free agency.

i agree and i never disputed ur main argument.....

but u've still mentioned the possibilities of him coming to the yanks and its really no shot.

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/01/18/rolle-giants-better-than-jets-coughlin-too-uptight/

can't say hes wrong.. in my heart i agree with everything he says
coughlins record and style speaks for itself. rolles really getting annoying. always has an opinion. just stfu and play.

i dont really care about coughlin's record.
if we arent winning, it's not working.

Anyhow we are stuck with himand I hope I'm dead wrong about everything...Another year of wasted player talent will be a shame these guyscareers are short enough as it is...I can't tell you how much I want to be wrong .. this parternthey are in sucks you can't sit downwith any confidence that they will play good ball , protect leadwhen they have one, or run the clock outwhen they need to...whatever...my hope ishe either gets it or something changes to wash all these thoughts I have away...my badhere but its how Ifeel...tell me something when your happydoes your swag shine and fell like you got the world by the balls...happy players is not a bad thing

yea the late season decline really isn't a just by chance thing anymore...

infact i'd like to see our record vs .500 teams since TC got here.

NO and YES

No, the Sox having 3 rings spread out over 8 years isn't a dynasty.

Yes, you could still keep the pats considered a Dynasty just because it would be their 5th ring in 10 years with another superbowl apperance and they've had Brady and Belicheat at the helm the whole time

P.S. Matt - Blow me!

i watched a lil of that game... Kobe was on Westbrook all night

he got owned
He owns alot of people lol. I can't believe how fast he is. No one thought he could play the point ot of college. Plus he has about 10 years on Kobe. He was killing Fisher. Fast point guards eat us alive, that is why Kobe was on him. Did it last year in the playoffs to.

You keep hating and we will keep winning. You will be with me soon enough when we are playing Boston or Miami...

It must kill Supersonics fans to see a team this good.

bull-pen and closer is good, starting pitching needs another arm.

signing Russell Martin to a 1 year deal to see if he doesnt suck as he has the past 2 seasons isnt really "replacing" someone...we're just plugging an obvious leak in the ship ;P
Jesus Montero is the future!! I just want him to be a good catcher, which right now, he isnt really =\

Martin will be good this year I feel.

New scenery may help.

Montero will notbe a catcher in the bigs.

They want him to be a DH, or firstbaseman

Please expand on line 3 and 4Sir......

he means Jesus Montero, although a catcher in the minors, is not what anyone would consider a MLB caliber catcher defensively. They did say he'd be a great first basemen, but with Tex in the mix, it's just not necessary. So either he adapts and gets better, or he might kinda get stuck in the minor leagues. which sucks cuz that just makes him trade bait, and nobody (including myself) wants to get to the point where we trade him.

I really hate this chantix prescription. it's been making me sick the past few weeks. at first i thought it was just cuz i was taking it before eating breakfast....but now I take it like an hour after eating and it still makes me sick. If i dont eat, i literally with puke within the first hour or so...its the worst.

Some people have had changes in behavior, hostility, agitation, depressed mood, and suicidal thoughts (thinking about harming or killing oneself or planning or trying to do so) while taking varenicline. The role of varenicline in causing these mood changes is unclear since people who quit smoking with or without medication may experience changes in their mental health due to nicotine withdrawal. However, some of these symptoms occurred in people who were taking varenicline and continued to smoke.

meh...who cares.

i brought up the same points this morning as other ppl did...

Strahan called out TC to his face, and TC told him he was right...
Coughlin is starting to do this flip flop thing, where sometimes he has the team, and sometimes, he just has no control over anything. Although I like him, it's a sign that he probably doesn't belong here anymore. the only thing he has left to prove in NY, is that he could regain control. And I dont see that as a good enough reason to keep a coach in the gallows without dropping the proverbial axe

I have to say, they can't be saying this stuff in public. Its way out of bounds. I don't care if its true or not.

Secondly, its plenty fun to play for any coach (including TC) when you win. If his defense hadn't blown a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter vs. Philly, I promise you they would be having a lot of fun preparing for a championship game at home this week.

I think Montero's "catcher tag" is what causes the argument.

meh...who cares.

i brought up the same points this morning as other ppl did...

And I dont see that as a good enough reason to keep a coach in the gallows without dropping the proverbial axe
whens it on the players though? we were 8 mins from winning the division! tc didnt call one play except told dodge dont kick to djack. i really do find this amusing cause, we win the eagles game, this bs isnt an issue and we win the division and tcs a hero again. and rolle would be having "fun" in the playoffs

Posada/Jeter are gonna be DH's for us for a while and Tex is gonna be our1st base for most of his career.

ta-ta montero. Hes a Jorge behind the plate

well yes...Posada is going to have to have a good season for me to agree with that first part. Then again, I guess his numbers are fine for DH. there arent many stud DH's out there anyway.

And to address that 2nd part, I assume that to be correct, although I've never actually seen him play...but lets be honest. I think anyone is an upgrade over jorge behind the plate lol

notice somebody from THEE thread is staying awwwwwwfully quiet on this matter evne tho we told him al lyear how bout Posada sucked behind the plate and he faught us to the death
posada wasnt as bad as you made him to be. the yanks want to go younger and keep him as a dh, i have no problem with that. you can bet hell still catch a few games this year.

yes he was, stop being a fool about it
if hes that bad whys he still going to catch a few games this year?

meh...who cares.

i brought up the same points this morning as other ppl did...

And I dont see that as a good enough reason to keep a coach in the gallows without dropping the proverbial axe

whens it on the players though? we were 8 mins from winning the division! tc didnt call one play except told dodge dont kick to djack. i really do find this amusing cause, we win the eagles game, this bs isnt an issue and we win the division and tcs a hero again. and rolle would be having "fun" in the playoffs

whens it on the coaach?

Do u think we dont have talent or something?

Like I dont get it. The job of the coach is to get the best out of his players, Coughlins not doin that by any means. A week schedule and a great defensive coordinator shouldn't mask the truth

fewells a great defensive coorinator now?! is that a joke? hes the main reason we lost dec 19th. and if your talking about spags, didnt HE bring spags here? if youre going to knock him for bringing bad coordinators in, you should give him credit as well.

its on the coach when your team is below .500 something that hasnt happened since his first year. or the locker room is a disaster.

damn bro, youre just a hater. worse than me. lol
dont you want anything to change?? our Defense improved this year drastically over the year prior. all because we got a new safety? not like we changed anything, just the DC. It def. helped.
I feel like you just get stuck on one point, and thats it (like youre obsession with press coverage)...which whatever, thats youre decision and opinion I guess, I just think it's silly.

dont get me wrong, I like coughlin, but i also acknowledge we need a change at coach.(and obviously OC)

So there was Huff and Gilbride on offense, he kepts Lewis, Spags, Sheridan, and Fewell

So he wa 1.5 for 5, cuz i'd say Fewell isn't proven yet.. so hes batting .300 and that may be good in baseball but not in this case

where did i say he was great? Do u just make things up and try and say i said them?

What about when ur team underplays, has typical tail end failure, u can hang on the 10 wins like its an accompishment and it is to an extent... but now when u've had ONE win against teams that are .500 or better and lost 4 after that to the other .500 teams.

The players are speaking out again and they were right last time, but they are not now?

Its on the coach when his teams ALAYS **** the bed in december and haven't won a playoff game ever, except for 2007.

Its not by chance, its a trend

meh...who cares.

i brought up the same points this morning as other ppl did...

And I dont see that as a good enough reason to keep a coach in the gallows without dropping the proverbial axe

whens it on the players though? we were 8 mins from winning the division! tc didnt call one play except told dodge dont kick to djack. i really do find this amusing cause, we win the eagles game, this bs isnt an issue and we win the division and tcs a hero again. and rolle would be having "fun" in the playoffs

He hasn't coached in 4 years and looks like he is losing weight. He's getting old, not as bad as TC. If Spags had stayed into o9, I do agree there is a good chance he would of been our HC. I would prefer a head coach the likes of Mike Tomlin. I like his Repor with the players. TC is old school.

Posada has been replaced already.

Catcher position (Martin)

Pitching is suffice, but the question is what is Pettitte going to do?

Will AJ be consitent?

bull-pen and closer is good, starting pitching needs another arm.

signing Russell Martin to a 1 year deal to see if he doesnt suck as he has the past 2 seasons isnt really "replacing" someone...we're just plugging an obvious leak in the ship ;P

It has been evident that Montero is average behind the plate.

His offensive skills are sky high, just need to find a position on defense for him.

The thing is 1st base is solidified for many years with Tex.

And DH is Posada's job this season, and will most likely be Jeter's and A-Rod's position in the future.

But I would not be suprised the Yankees trade Montero, but they would only trade him for a #1 starter.

I made the decision yesterday to conciously avoid buying the smokes. so yesterday at noon was the last cig I had. For the past however many months, my smoking has cut back drastically, but STOPPING was the next obstacle. I was down to like 4-5 cigs a day, sometimes less...but I didnt know when i would WANT to stop...so yesterday i just forced myself.

Change the verbage in that one, to avoid unecessary detainment/questioning in the event your ex goes missing. Pack her stuff up and put it in storage unit. Charge her the fee. Then you could get a roomy by Feb 1 if you wanted. Judge Judy would love to hear the case.

You can do anything that you put your mind to. If you are serious, which it sounds like you are. It's a lifestyle change. Change anything/everything that you used to do when you smoked. Replace those things with something else.

Stay away from environments, foods, stimuli that reminds you of and leads to smoking.

It will be a large effort in the beginning, but then will become your normal routine.

The only thing this does not work with is women.

JP-How's that Medicine treating you today? I hope it's getting better.

GOOD NEWS!!!

I made the decision yesterday to conciously avoid buying the smokes. so yesterday at noon was the last cig I had. For the past however many months, my smoking has cut back drastically, but STOPPING was the next obstacle. I was down to like 4-5 cigs a day, sometimes less...but I didnt know when i would WANT to stop...so yesterday i just forced myself.

the prescription itself still sucks, still makes me kinda sick, but the past 2 days at least i havent puked it up after. lol
JP-Congrats! You can do it.

The only thing this does not work with is women.

yea like instead of suckin back 10 stogues a day and only 2 ****s, just suck back 10 ****s and 2 stogues... it will help

this stems from my theory(almost proven) that in order to play for the red sox, you must either BE, or at minimum look like, a child predator or just a general r/\pist.
The only players I dont feel fit this mold while playing there was Beltre, and Victor Martinez...guess they just didnt have it in them. lol

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm very interesting

not really. Figured there would be. But I also bet theres several Giants that are happy with it
i think wed hear about it.
Dezz-What's your feeling about Rolle--keep em or ditch em. How about Grant and the other guy as well?

ehh hes only like 5 mil next season, i'd def keep Rolle. he was D MVP for half the season

Keep Grant if u can but he might of earned a nice contract somewhere else

Rolle's a loudmouth, still not as bad as shockey, I don't think. Very versatile player-that made the problems with our lb's not as noticeable. Rolle's subbing in the box is prob good reason we did not see him picking balls out of the air. Grant, I liked as well. I would love to see these guy's JUST play their safety pos.

yea agreed. except i dont think rolle was d mvp. how about osi with all his force fumbles at the beginning of the year. 1 int and 1 sack is hardly enough to warrant mvp. plus imo i think grant played the best out of all 3 safties. and one more outburst from rolle we should cut him

are ppl actually asking for Rolle and Grant to be cut?

lol ****ing ridiculous....i hate ppl

Rolle's mouth is arguably one of the best things to happen this season. All he does is talk up the team, says how they are better than what everyone says. He knows the talent is there. People are so ****ing sensitive jeez..lol

i'd love it more if we had a staff that ran a system that didn't nose dive at the end of the year and had a system that players buy into

****in CBA

na he was playing lights out and did things that dont show up on the stat sheet.

Ultimately Osi was our D MVP but the truth of the matter is that Rolle was actually getting significant mentions for possibly being D MVP at a point in the season.
