I can't wait for the season.

I hope Girardi and staff can get by with the starting pitching we have.

The offense will be there, and the bullpen is strong.

What starting pitching?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

He who laughs last laughs best...

Don't count the Yankees out..

I wouldn't hold your breath for #28 anytime soon.

This is the Sox Century, and we are all living in it.

You sure your Sox can go a whole season without finding ways to land on the DL?

it will be interesting to see if beckett can bounce back after 2 sub par years.

one sub par year

the hate for Rolle in TAGF is absolutely ******ed
i dont think ******ed. over excessive, yea. if he has one more outburst im jumping on the bandwagon. and you can say hey maybe hes right, i dont give a **** if hes right, we missed the playoffs 2 years in a row blah blah, hes the new guy and the leaders of this team have told him to keep his mouth shut more than once........

somebody just really tried using the qoute of Rolle saying the turf on the new field is what caused hixon to tear his **** up, as a reason we should cut him right now lol....

absolutely ridic
lol well that just gives the rational people a bad rep. but honestly, do you feel hes been somewhat outspoken? hes done so 3 separate times. whether he intended too is not the issue.

if he was talking out of his *** i would have aproblem with it....

the only thing i had a problem with was him not realizing that he was in NY and that its not Zona anymore. Your not allowed to cry about boo'ing. If u can't handle it leave

But saying TC is stubborn and **** like that, is that really new news? Something we dind't know? **** most people want Coughlin and/or Gilbride gone and thats basically what he was speaking on. The same reasons people want them gone, is the same **** that Rolle was basically saying. I dont get anyone that doesn't see it. This team has **** THE BED for the past three years at the end of the year and 2 years before 07 was a similiar situation.

Its time to stop being loyal just because your use to Coughlin.

I remember people on here fighting fo rFassell to say. I don't get how anybody can say we dont need a change in coaching. It makes no sense.

Its a shame theres no CBA or else I really do believe he would of been gone

the truth is the defensive scheme won us a superbowl. We handled Farve having one of his best seasons and 2 of the top 3 highest octane offenses that year in Dallas and NE and we beat them.

No because most of our guys do understand to keep problems in house, but do u think they are the only two that feel this way? If i was a betting man i'd say, no way in hellllllllllll

all of this has happened before with Coughlin, its nothing new. We've heard this same exact ****. Except now we've had BRUTAL collapses for 3 years in a row with teams that should of been competing EVERY year.

The amount this team has uder produced goes strictly on the coaching. Its not the same players every year, but it seems to be the same results in Coughlins WHOLE tenure here, minus 2007

who brought spags here? if we won another sb in 08( which me and you both agree would of happened if plax didnt plax himself ) this wouldnt be an issue. tc would be a genious. if we won the philly game, tc would be thee man and we be divsion champs when you look at how close we were to taking the division and than to lay on him,its all bull****. imo anyway. you cant blame one man on that. they collapsed as a team. it was literally one of the most disgusting things iv ever seen. i felt sick.

and youre focusing on what he said and not what he did. its what hes doing thats wrong. yes we disagree on tc but if i were a betting man i says hell have another outburst in his giants career? what do you think?

the same guy that kept Tim Lewis and Kevin Gilbride around... same guy that hired Hufanagle and Sheridan....

Same guy that had a say in bringing in players that u want to blame so bad....

And your right, if we won in 08 this wouldn't be an issue, but we didn't. And honestly, not even win it all, but just compete. This team SELF DESTRUCTED when we lost Plax and that while its plax's fault, is also the coach's fault.

Won the philly game? How bout A philly game. I dont remember the last time we beat them.

Whats his record vs teams with a winning record?

Yea well you know what, it took players to be vocal to get him to change last time. Its annoying to think that he'd even be giving off that feeling after his past here. Talk about wanting players to learn from their mistakes on and off the field, leadership stems from the top

Your about 45 mins North of me. What's it doing up there?

I cleared last nights snow/mix early this am(7am-8:30), then it started sleeting, now I have a quarter to half inch of slush/ice. Roads are not good, working from home for now.

Ar is now where close to Revis :). I'm not sure about Rolle last year...he played the psuedo linebacker role that Fewell called frequently putting him up in the box. Did that effect his production at safety?

Yes but why would anyone really care what he says to the media. If you don't like him because of his play on the field, thats fine, but thats not what you were whining about.

For the record, clearly Rolle has helped solidify our secondary.

I predicted the future for another loudmouth player, Randy Moss. I said it when he left New England. We have not heard the last of him, wherever he goes, he will be a problem. Hence, only the 1 year deal with Vikes. Maybe next year he will surface in Dallas and his mouth will never shut.

Sometimes he'll come home from work at like 1130, and watch the 2nd airing of that nights game lol.
He almost kicked my *** one time, i was in a foul mood, and he was watching the game. and im like "Ranger lost, 3-1!! Dont waste your time!"
he was furious lol
hahalol thats meeean braaa.

honestly bro...its ****ing awesome.
the only downside(and its not REALLY a downside) is that the player pool is pre-selected. not that its a terrible thing to give the fans the vote still, but lets be honest, from experience(and you all know too) MLB AS, and NFL pro-bowl, mooostly jokes. the only thing that evens it out is players votes, coaches, etc those are weighed just as heavily. so thats good.

when madoff was "investing" peoples money, one of the companies they were investing in was the mets, as far as I know, the mets were guilty by association so to speak, because someone has to be responislbe for the losses. wasnt the mets fault that someone else was stealing all the money.

maybe...
but in NY, these organizations just ASSUME that we will pay whatever price for a ticket to a game.
On one hand you have the loyal locals who have had season tickets forever....
but on the other hand you have ppl who live an hour away(like myself) and when I dogo to a game, I do it as a treat to myself haha.
i cant speak for mets fans or mets games cuz ive never been to citifield, but ive never been to a yankee game when there was an empty seat....
i think i might check out citifield this summer one game, just to say i went/saw it....depending on price of course. i would hate to overspend on something i dont care to see to begin with.

i just dont get why its all coming out now and theyre desperate for money all of a sudden the guy was locked up almost 2 years ago.

I don't get why "you" are bringing it up now, but I heard about this every day for a couple weeks back about 8-12 months ago....this is old news I didn't hear about it today from anyone besides you :P
cause the media is making a big deal about it now. so if they knew it could get bad 8-12 months ago, why not do something about it then. just seems a bit off to me.

not really dezzz.
I mean they are talking about it, but its because there was some league meeting about the current financial situation. from what ive read, the wilpons are going to sell approx. 25% of the organization in case they need to make a hefty legal payout. sure its news....but its not shady. its just something that will have to be done i suppose.

yea i dont know. to me it just seems like they would of been in a better situation if they did what theyre doing now a year ago. right? ticket sales have been down since the new stadium opened as well. its like they woke up one morning and realized theyre not doing so well financially.

maybe...
but in NY, these organizations just ASSUME that we will pay whatever price for a ticket to a game.
On one hand you have the loyal locals who have had season tickets forever....
but on the other hand you have ppl who live an hour away(like myself) and when I dogo to a game, I do it as a treat to myself haha.
i cant speak for mets fans or mets games cuz ive never been to citifield, but ive never been to a yankee game when there was an empty seat....

as much as I hate AJ Burnett, I feel like he's gonna have a decent season this year. Clearly im not a homer about these issues cuz I have no problem calling out ****ty players. and after a mediocre season, and then a BAD season, his floor is the same, but cieling is much higher, so I just feel like its bound to happen.

I just spoke with some guy's at work about this. They said a neighbor paid $500 for a roof cleaning this weekend and 1 guy said he heard about $1000 price that was paid. Unless you have active leaks, or a weak roof....contractors are working off of your paranoia that a roof shovel is necessary. The wrong group of guy's on your roof, could cause more damage than good, breaking shingles and flashing loose.

$300 seems to be the rate. I have heard that number before. It is the danger factor that drives the price up. My friends wife paid $300 for 3 guy's to clear their roof and it took them 20 minutes.

last time we had a few storms in a row, the snow(on the roof)melted fairly quick. i want to see what happens this weekend before I express concern to the "landlord".
lol my one roomate has a skylight in his room, and USUALLY the snow around it melts fairly quickly due to the room's heat, but it doesnt appear to be doing that >.< lol

This is just the beginning. The contracting industry has been so neglected by homeowner's these past two years because of the economy and homeowner's lack of money, just wait till you hear of the prices that Carpenters and service guy's are going to charge this spring. This spring, there is going to be a ton of water damage repair work from this winter to both roofs and interior, window sills, jambs, gutters, facia, omg-the list will be endless.

The contractors who are still in business and did not lose everything they worked for due to these past two years are going to make a killing raping customers on this bountiful harvest.

The cotractor
I just spoke with some guy's at work about this. They said a neighbor paid $500 for a roof cleaning this weekend and 1 guy said he heard about $1000 price that was paid. Unless you have active leaks, or a weak roof....contractors are working off of your paranoia that a roof shovel is necessary. The wrong group of guy's on your roof, could cause more damage than good, breaking shingles and flashing loose.

Now they're saying they can't go to the high portion of the roof, so they're going to do the garage (the guitar room is over the garage and gets top priority) and our new room. The only ice dam I can see is over the garage.

If I think of it, I'll take pictures of the pharmacists doing manual labor.

I have had my share of them. You are in a wealthy area Dezz, I recall you saying. I used to work in Ridgefield, Wilton, Darien, New Canaan--Connecticut. I hit exclusive targets to make it worth my while. For the most part(90%) of my clients were great. You have to establish yourself as being in control from the start or they will piss all over you. Similar to your customer service skills.

if the main reason u asked them to do it is the garage and they dont do it, i'd be out there renegotiating.

ohhh ****t.. i can't believe i forgot to tell u guys

but two weeks ago I went to Hammerstein and saw the Korn-Disturbed-Sevendust show.

I dont think i even mentioned it in here

First off, Hammerstein is THEE ****in best place to see a show. Not a huge arena, not a small **** place and GREAT sound. City environment, right next to MSG it was ****in awesome.

So i got there at 845 thinking I was good... i ****ined saw the last 10 seconds of Sevendust on stage, very disappointing.

Disturbed went on. I dont love them, but they were tight and sounded alot better than i thought they would. They are too like new-agey metal for me. The leadman just doesn't take over the stage enough for me. Hes kind of just there walking around throwing his arms up like an emporer. I dunno, theres just something missing from them. Great show tho

Then Korn came on. Second time i've seen them. I caught them last year at this lil hole in jersey called Starland which is usually pretty good, but they sucked last year. They TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY this time. Dude they were tight and just jammed out. Those bagpipes are ****in sickness.

Tomorrow im checkin out Linkin Park at MSG. I can't wait. Second time i'm gonna be seeing them too

I hope they dont play too much new stuff tho, their last single was absoultely PUTRId

lol yea hes a teeny bopper act. Any TB acts deserved to be joked on, but still its pretty impressive that tiny tike is so musically talented. He isn't just like a brittney spears ya know. And the kid got up and did it on his own with facebook. I actually have some respect for him. These kids bit off more than they can chew. That kids only security is the ladder behind him while he's up there. Personally--no way in hell I would get on that roof in the snow. I have roofed that pitch before with ladder jacks and the boards nailed into the roof.

They need to go buy the roof rakes and come back and then you can pay them full price. They can use the roof rakes from the ground or from the ladders for the main part of the house. $60 or so for a roof rake.

I'm sure you had that one delivered in one piece. I did a gazebbo job with electric lighting, custom seats, blah, blah. Alot of awful music being made is one of the main reasons I dont buy music anymore. I only buy music for artists I really really like. And local kids if they have something, because I guess I feel liike im helping them get their foot in somewhere.

I hope they dont play too much new stuff tho, their last single was absoultely PUTRId

you mentioned seeing them, but i think it was before hand.....
sevendust disappointing because they werent good, or because you missed the majority of it?
I saw Sevendust innnnnn......2001? with Drowning Pool and Stereomud, and they were excellentttt!!
was def. a good show for them....i recall Lajon smoking alot of ganja on stage. lol...yet every time someone tried to light up in the crowd, bouncers told them to put it out , or get out. lol

Korn i saw at Woodstock in 99, but i've never seen Disturbed.

IM pissed cuz i never seen Sevendust and i got literally the last note thye played and them thanking the crowd. They were off by 845. I didn't even want to be at the place THAT early. I hatet that ****.

Woodstock was a great lineup, i wish i went

i love me pipes. jons Scottish right? korn was the beezneez back in the day but i felt they got too mainstream. but now you mentioned it ill check some of their new **** out.

dude Oildale was like their first single from their latest album. I remember the first ocuple of times i heard it i hated it, it grew on me and then i started loving it.

When they played it live bro, the pits exploded. Give it a few listens. Song of 2010 if u ask me.

Yea hes scottish. Dude you don't realize how many ****in singles Korn really has though. They did get a lil poppy mainstream.

The one thing that they did wasgenious was "Ya'll want a single". Repetitive, took them 2 minutes to write. It literally was prolly created because the label wanted a single. So they tried to **** on them with that, the young adolesences think it was a rebellious move and love the song, and it actually became a single.... the misdirection in creating that song is genious lol...

They dind't have to do ****, made the label happy, and made their fans happy by making them think they didn't "sellout" which in retrospect is exactly what they did

BRILLIANT!

oh, and I havent listened to Linkin Park since...well i dont know if Meteora came out first, or their remix album...I had both those, but literally everything after those was straight ****....doesnt even deserve a spot on a playlist, let alone physical media.
Alot of awful music being made is one of the main reasons I dont buy music anymore. I only buy music for artists I really really like. And local kids if they have something, because I guess I feel liike im helping them get their foot in somewhere.
I bought all Just Surrender's albums since theyve been around, and now they have a huge following =P
Coincidence?!? i think not!! lol

i hear ya...

i dont think i've bought a full album from anyone...

last band I bought an album from was Burn Halo... i liked their two radio singles and then of course the rest of the album was ****. Im sick of it...

now bands like Linkin Park are sucking too theres nothing that can be done. Rock is dead

Im not gonna lie any bands i've heard that i've liked in the past 8 years were local bands
