Matt-You have a pm. Great to meet you as well. You and blondie's brother are good people. Thanks for the creds on the lifting, it was great to feel the heat in competition again.

Funny thing about the stache...I've had a mustache the majority of my life. Some old friends were joking on Saturday saying that there was no way I made weight for my division. They said the only thing on me that weighed 198 lbs was my stache....hahahaha.

Flight for vegas leaves Friday? Now that's a trip.

Lol, I dunno, I saw a pic of Pappy-it's going to be close. Try to keep yourself occupied this week, if you don't it will be the slowest week of your life. It always works like that, then when the vacation get's here, it flies by.

Ray Lewis Predicts Rise in Crime If NFL Lockout Persists (http://www.nesn.com/2011/05/ray-lewis-predicts-rise-in-crime-if-nfl-lockout-persists.html)

While many of his colleagues seem to be enjoying the leisure of the NFL lockout, Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis couldn't find the situation more dire.

In fact, he even believes that the consequences of the work stoppage
-- which he attributes simply to the egos of owners and players -- could
be as far reaching as an increase in crime. (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6575570)</p>

"Do this research if we don't have a season -- watch how much evil,
which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our
game," Lewis told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

"There's
too many people that live through us, people live through us," he said.
"Yeah, walk in the streets, the way I walk the streets, and I'm not
talking about the people you see all the time."</p>

hey guys</P>

thats awesome that you guys got to meet!</P>

I woulda came to visit, but my weekends for the next month and a half are crazy booked with all sorts of...uhh...activites &gt;.&lt;

Yesterday, a friend and I went hiking. I picked this place that my dad used to take my middle brother and I to when we were kids, Sugarloaf/Breakneck Mountains. it's like in between Beacon and COldspring.
HOLY ****....I thought I was going to DIE! I'm so out of shape to begin with, and I'm a smoker of 10 years....I thought my chest was going to explode! Butttt I did it. My friend is short, so she struggled on all the rocky parts, but she obviously doesnt get as winded as I would. But honestly, I'm kinda proud of myself lol...cuz it was pretty hardcore, but that's what i consider hiking. </P>

she?

did u open her up to the wilderness that is DEPIZZ?!

smackin skins on a boulder somewhere?
Glad u said it. Cause it's the first thing that came to my mind. Depizz bare *** slamin with a beautiful view of the Hudson River.
</P>

lmao nah man...she's married. been my closest friend since high school. i'd lie if I said we didn't have some history tho lol</P>

Many of my family members lived in SW Florida for more than 20 years. Its definately the humidity.</P>

The dew point is tropical in the summer. The record high temp. in Naples, FL is 98. The record high in Springfield, MA (where I'm from) in 104. The difference in the dew point.</P>

We get some humidity shots up here from season to season where it's like a jungle climate, I mean Africa Hot. But nothing like southern Fla.

The dew point is tropical in the summer. The record high temp. in Naples, FL is 98. The record high in Springfield, MA (where I'm from) in 104. The difference in the dew point.</P>

I don't know about central FL, but in SW FL, its all about the humidity.</P>

</P>

I am on the west coast. </P>

The humidity is not that bad. But it's Florida so it's very <FONT color=#ff0000>hot....</FONT></P>

I've only been to Florida twice, once when I went to disney, and once i went to Panama City Beach for spring break. The first time was so ****ing hot, and the humidity made it even worse. i couldnt stand it. hated it.
The 2nd time, since we were right on the beach wasnt as bad because it was a little cooler, and fairly breezy, but EVERY ****ing morning we'd wake up, and there would be extremely dense fog till about 1pm. couldnt even see the sand from my hotel window. ****ing terrible. anyway....Florida is off my list of desirables lol</P>

You can, B....but you'd have to run your audio seperately to your PC in order to get soudn to your computer speakers. gets kinda complicated.
You're probably better off doing it to your tv cuz its fairly simple. Don't listen to MH. do whatever is fun! lol

I still play video games when im home. in fact, this week i found my Nintend 64 that I got way back in junior high, and started playing Zelda for that! lol...best game ever.</P>

It's not my fault some guy's do not produce enough testosterone and get "chilly" just like their counterpart woman who belong in a convalescence home for people with no blood pressure. If they had it their way, every office in the building would be 75-80 degrees and stink like unwashed cooch. I'm ****ing sorry if I find that offensive and wish to breath clean cool air and not have my balls stick to the side of my leg as I concentrate on my day.

My internal temp is a high one, I run hot. When I am hot at work, I am distracted and I don't work as effectively.

I am going to go out and get a standup portable a/c and vent it into the ceiling tile in my office. **** that noise! and I do this to avoid a major production with everyone. Legally, The dept of Health has created min/max temperatures for office work. Those laws are in place for a reason. Never ceases to amaze me, really.

I am with you 150%....That's one thing my supervisor butted heads with us all on. she felt 75 was a decent temperature. OSHA standards are no higher than 71....
a building should never be above 70. if you are cold, wear more ****ing clothes!!! I dont give a **** if you are cold. what do you suggest the rest of us do if we sweat? get naked?? This is something i'm very firm on, and will debate with even upper management. I'm just like you. my core temp has gotta be a couple degrees higher than most.</p>It's a big problem. Mine, like yours is a business professional environment. By dressing that way it makes it extremely uncomfortable. Some people are insane--How can 75 possibly be a decent temp? I think 68 is a number I can work with. 70 is too dam hot. The pipes in the men's room have condensation on them at 70--that's say's the humidity levels are too high. I swear to god, you can split atoms with the one's who want it warmer...but it comes down to what you said. They can put on a fleece or something, we can't take off clothes. Then they have the balls to say, "no-I should not have to put a sweater on".

My cfo told me last week when we were discussing, that I could wear shorts. Wtf is that? This ******* is standing in front of me wearing a sweater vest and my shoes are filling up with sock sweat. Two different worlds. How the hell am I suppossed to dress business professional in shorts?

I'm at wits end--to avoid too much conflict, I decided with the portable a/c. It really is ****ing ridiculous. Let's use the winter as an example. In the winter they all turn on their under the desk space heaters. So the room temps crank to mid to high 70's in the winter. My nose get's congested, throat and eyes dry out, but I endure it. Why should the summer be any different? My portable a/c is equivalent to their space heater, right? I know full well, it will not be that easy.

"This story comes from Adrian Gennusa!

I am the Ultimate Giants
Fan because in 2007-2008 while the Giants made their march to victory in
Super Bowl XLII, I was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq and ensured I didn’t
miss a playoff game. Despite daily patrols,... I stayed up throughout
the night cheering the Giants during each playoff game. I wore my Giants
hat to my tank each day and kept it with me during our patrols. I was
the sole Giants fan on our outpost, watching each game among many
Cowboys, Packers, and Patriots fans. I endured endless trash talk until
they each went to bed disappointed. I was fortunate to call my family
and friends after every playoff game to celebrate. My parents and fiancé
sent me newspapers, magazines, T-shirts, and hats from home after Big
Blue won the Super Bowl, which I promptly posed with next to my tank.
Although I could not be home to share the celebrations with friends and
family in person, the Giants victory meant so much because it helped
make me feel closer to home despite being so far away."

I dont see a problem with it. Seems like a good idea. Unfortunately i dont work in a closed office, so I cant do that =(
If I wasnt able to walk over to the thermostats and change the temps, I would go to HR, or higher with concerns of working conditions, and press the issues of osha standards, and really go above and beyond. there is nothing about my job that should require me to sit in a cubicle and sweat.</P>

Today is a good day. In spite of the fact that my office is in the process of pussifying. Too many people are complaining about the temp of the a/c. Oh Boo ****ing HOOO!

</p>

Unless youre going to let me wear shorts to work (ha, yea right...) then the building than should ALWAYS be cooler than it is warmer.
I'm just like you. my core temp has gotta be a couple degrees higher than most.</p>

It's a big problem.

</p>

I dont see a problem with it. Seems like a good idea. Unfortunately i dont work in a closed office, so I cant do that =(
If I wasnt able to walk over to the thermostats and change the temps, I would go to HR, or higher with concerns of working conditions, and press the issues of osha standards, and really go above and beyond. there is nothing about my job that should require me to sit in a cubicle and sweat.</p>I am not, and do not wish to be intimate to the point where I have to smell hot stinky cooch from these women who are a few steps away from the glue factory. People are so rude! It's classic. I have gone at least the past 15 years setting the a/c to work appropriate temps for the Summer season. I would say our office is still warmer than the malls, or stores that you walk into in public.

That's my point as well. You should not have to be uncomfortable at work. I don't want to have to go down the legal route with them. I mean, geesh, does it even have to get to this point of discussion? Ridiculous.

This july will wrap up my 6th year working for this company. When I start here I was part time. Part time is 22.5 hours a week, you get 1 weekday off, and you have to work Saturdays. Days off for part timers are set days, meaning you will always have the same one. Throughout my tenure as a part timer, I switched my day off to accomodate other kids who were in school and stuff, not a big deal, i took mostly early classes when I was in school.
I dont know what the deal is here, but ALL the part timers request time off left and right, and totally abuse the rest of us. A guy I worked with at my old branch, also a part timer, now works as a full timer here with me. We were both remembering how we never even thought about asking for time off because cmon...we barely worked to begin with. I dont recall it ever really being an issue for anyone we worked with.
This saturday, there are 3 fulltimers here, and only 2 of our 4 part timers. Every week someone is asked to switch friday shifts because a part timer needs off, and satrudays also. it's so ridiculous! who do they think they are?!?! lol</P>

yeaaaaa....seeeeee.....that the issue. extra hours are not allowed really ever. so by me helping them, they cannot do anything to help me. they dont understand that. "Can you close instead of opening on Friday?" ....no...no i cant...because that means all i'm doing is switching a shift, and you can do nothing to help me to make it fair. You take a 3.5 hour opening shift? no...i WANT to open! why would i WANT to do something that doesnt advantage me at all.
see, back in the day, I could work extra hours as long as a manager okay'd it, so we could sometimes work things out....

i don't get ur logic about Manningham at all... you think he could even get to the elite level

how the hell could we pay for Smith, Manningham, AND Nicks if Manningham continues at that pace or gets better?

We both agree he could be #1 stature. I mean do u think we don't give Nicks a contract and let him walk?

I just dont get where u think all this money is going to come from

I want to keep all 3, but your right about $ situation. A decision or compromise needs to be made. We should have a year before we have to make that move though.

What happens if there is a partial season due to cba--does NYG save some on player salaries on a reduced amount of games played. It's seems like a double edge sword, because NYG will not be getting fan revenues if there are no games either.

yea even if that aws the case im sure the players union would ban together to make the FAs get more money the following year or something... i don tthink theres any positive that would come from it cap wise... or in general either.

But the cap **** confuses the hell out of me. Everytime I feel like I would grasp it, there would be something that I didn't know that changes everything. So hopfully i can start frresh with this new CBA and really grasp it all

the dream scenario would be something like Fitzgerald was trying to work out with Boldin before he was a FA. Restructure my contract so we can pay this guy enough to keep the team together....
But it would never work. there's always the one guy whos going to ***** about it a year later or something and demand more money.

but I think Manningham has to be the odd man out. I think we all agree that even though Manningham has turned into a really good playmaker, we'd rather have Nicks. I menai would think we all agree onit

Smith is the FA now and we can probably get him discounted. I think the only way we do resign Manningham is if Smith looks like **** after this year like he didn't heal from the injury. But all I do is read good **** and hes always saying how good he feels and how hes further along in recovery.

People are saying hes gonna start the year on the PUP. I haven't seen anything to suppor thtat except for a specific report that he totally disputed on his fbook

Something has to give. Too much money locked up at other positions

So hopfully i can start frresh with this new CBA and really grasp it all
The most comprehensive explanation I ever read on the cap and players salaries was on wiki. Very involved. I actually read parts of the cba last year on our bye week. I think I prefer bamboo shoots under my nails.

the dream scenario would be something like Fitzgerald was trying to work out with Boldin before he was a FA. Restructure my contract so we can pay this guy enough to keep the team together....
But it would never work. there's always the one guy whos going to ***** about it a year later or something and demand more money.

yea no way though cuz Smith is ging to have a respectable contract

Manningham is gonna get his pay day and then a year later nicks owuld need his pay day.. its a diff scenerio. Fitz was making 10 mil a year

pappy responded to u in the free agent game thread

i don't get ur logic about Manningham at all... you think he could even get to the elite level

how the hell could we pay for Smith, Manningham, AND Nicks if Manningham continues at that pace or gets better?

We both agree he could be #1 stature. I mean do u think we don't give Nicks a contract and let him walk?

I just dont get where u think all this money is going to come from

yea, basically we have found the only downside to having a young WR who has developed into a really good one, on a team that already has good WRs....we cant keep em all. lol</p>

yea like Dezz said its a good problem to have

but I think Manningham has to be the odd man out.

I'm of the same opinion based on player performance---Manningham (although very good) may possibly develop into a better wr, but at this time, he's the odd man.

There is no dout he would be in the Hall if he played and won. You cant take what hos did away though the back story on him as a giant and doing what he did with his kid nearly passing away and his hard work to just stay on the roster to winning a SB. Fairy tale story that came true but i think we would have beat them by allot more if Phil was at the Helm that day.

Promotes a non participatory, sedentary, unimaginative life style. Kids who play too many video games are usually more socially awkward and overweight.</P>

Thats why we have more bullying, a collectively lower self image and less real motivation in school age kids.</P>

You have to do what you believe is right with your kids when you are a parent. Its hard to shut that stuff off after theyre grown. I knowvideo gamesare essentially harmless, but I really don'tlike what they can do to some kids.</P>
