lmao what old people call a xbox 360

i think for christmas we should all chip in 25 bucks and buy him one. i (and im sure a few others) want to own him in madden.

It'll be a hot night in Minsk before I ever play a video game. One must stick to one's principles.

even if your principles are wrong and flawed?

Just generational differences, that's all. All important pieces of the whole that make us that much more diversified and informed in our discussions/debates.

Promotes a non participatory, sedentary, unimaginative life style. Kids who play too many video games are usually more socially awkward and overweight.

Thats why we have more bullying, a collectively lower self image and less real motivation in school age kids.

You have to do what you believe is right with your kids when you are a parent. Its hard to shut that stuff off after theyre grown. I knowvideo gamesare essentially harmless, but I really don'tlike what they can do to some kids.

more bullying? I doubt that...

u just have a big deal about it now

infact i'd suggest that bullying is significantly less than when u were littler

and i think thats a cop out. That can be applied to SOOO many things kids are into.

anything abused isn't good

Test have proven your statement above. Now the next generational hangup for the teens: Facebook, ipod's, texting. At least they are interacting with other human's. It still occupies way too much time for these kids today. They need to go outside and play. I have found the next best alternative to be sports for my girl....track, gymnastics, cheer etc. Then if she wants to spend a few hours at night on that stuff it's not as bad imo.

I dont think u could be more wrong. Back then when bullying happened it was just a way of life type thing, you dealt with it. Kids were much more tougher back then. Hell even when i was a kid

these kids today are cream filled pillows that still have mommies milk stains around their lips.,...

theres just a bigger deal made about it now... i would say there is mroe acceptance today than there was in the past.

Its similiar to the arguments of child abuse today and just giving physical lessons in the past

Any level of bullying is so sad to watch your kid experience. I think it is even more painful for the girls. The boy's knock heads, bloody each other up and they turn out to be friends next year. The girls are , well you know. Now they have twitter, facebook, blogs, etc. to send underhanded shots at the girls they target.

Very impressive, low center of gravity, keeps moving his legs and is fortunate that 94 only has a left arm hooked around him.

one can say the same thing about tv. i grew up watching jason and freddy krugar, rambo, preditor all those violent movies. im not grabbing machetes and hacking people up. we have much bigger problems than video games. shows like prego at 16 on mtv and shows like jersey shore will be the downfall of western society.

bad parents. you can blame video games, tv, movies etc etc....but it all comes back to parenting. 100% and I fully believe that.

Correlation does not mean causation.

The video games themselves do no harm to the kids(unless they're epileptic). Video games do not cause kids to have a horrible diet, video games do not cause kids to become weird and disliked, video games do not prevent kids from going out and playing ball. All of these things are either personal choices or things that they were born with.

That was a $103MM mistake. Live and learn.

Nice try but he won a lot of games with us. Don't forget that he went 18-3 in 2008 and was 4th in the Cy Young voting.

no offense to AB, cuz i mean clearly he got well earned yardage on that play...but thats more of a ty warren highlight. lol....he held a RB and a OT to 5 yards unassisted with just 2 arms lol

I think more credit should go to Bradshaw.

He did not stop moving his feet, all Warren did was hold on to dear life.

all i'm gonna say is if that was Ware and not Bradshaw, this would be a selling point for Pizz as to why Ware should be starting in the probowl game, let alone for the giants

I've also made it clear that over the past 3 seasons, I dont think AB is special. I don't care if it's popular opinion or not really, but it's true, so...

The coaches see these guys way more then we do, if Ware was showing them something then he would be seeing the field more then not.

And to say Bradshaw is replacable is wrong, your assumption on that is because runningback is the easiest position to replace. Besides his fumbling issues he is a up and coming star.

im not questioning his effort or toughness. im questioning why people have such a hard on for him when there are 50 other RBs who can do the same thing with as many carries.
Jacobs had healthy season last year, and had he seen anywhere near the carries Bradshaw did, would have had a mounstrous season and made AB look like the 3rd stringer.

Friggin Bandy and his Jays kept my prediction of the Sox being in first place before June 1st from coming true.......For now.now i know why you dont gamble.

For the record. When the Sox were 5-10 I said that they would be in first place before June 1st.

On Saturday afternoon (before the Sox played the Cubs) the Sox were percentage points ahead of Tampa and were in first place by themsleves.

Fans like Bradshaw because unlike Ware he has produced on the field.

When has Ware shown anything besides garbage time, or preseason?

See....this is another thing...
1000 yards is no longer an impressive number apparently since more thanhalf the teams in the league have a RB who does it.

Jacobs had the 3rd best YPC in the NFL last year with 130, but nobody talks about that...just that Bradshaw was top 10 even tho he had 130 more carries than Jacobs. I mean honestly...can you even imagine if he had gotten even 200 carries?
You would all be singing different tunes I'm sure.

When did I say 1,000 yards? I was refering to Bradshaw being in the top 3 in rushing in the NFL(mid-season). No matter how you look at it that is an accomplishment.

I think Jacobs had a bounce back year, finally he was healthy for the whole season. But there is a reason he played healthy. Because the Giants did not over work the big fella. He is not a back who can take the brunt of carries for a season.

The combination of Bradshaw/Jacobs gives us a very good rushing attack. The fumbles were sort of bizzare last year, but putting that aside, they are both very good.

To knock either one for anything but the fumbles is misguided in my view. They both run hard and run with attitude.

ehhh u guys were saying that baout TO too

i dont think hes done. I think in a limited role he would be VERY useful.

obviously the money and reduced roll is something he'd have to accept. Plus now he has a line.. could make a big difference

I do like guys that are trying to prove something....if he wasnt to play for the Vet. minimum yeah it would be worth a shot ....they could always cut him after camp if he is just old and busted.

wow what do u guys think of Portis saying he would like to play for the Giants

always liked Portis, pretty funny, entertaining dude. but no thx buddy...although im flattered. lol =P

if the price is right i would like it...

i like hungry players for cheap, that would be good backups. He can be VERY useful on third and longs seeing as how hes great at pass blocking and can catch.

plus hes an obvious upgrade over Ware. And yes im serious

id be down for that I guess....i just dont know how often he'd be used.

you guys ever hear the bizarre rumors about the Portis/Champ Bailey trade? like why it happened? lol

lol. **** you guys! i had a member!

ok well the rumor was that Bailey had legal issues surrounding something with his wife(or girlfriend, dont remember) and it was messy, like restraining orders and the works. so he went to the Skins, and was like...so umm....I can't be in Washington anymore, sooooo yeeeaaaa....
Just worked out that Portis wasnt happy with Denver cuz they wouldnt renegotiate his contract, so they worked it out. both players were allowed to talk to the other team about sign and trade terms, and it worked out.

I dont know if it's true...but 2 Redskin fans have told me nearly identical stories. i jsut cant find anything about it tho

FYI-The Sports Expo that I mentioned a while back is coming to the Edison N.J. Convention Center weekend of June 10-12. It has been cancelled since winter of 2008 because of the economy. After the SB42 game, this was the best even I had ever been to for NYG. There were over 10 players there from the sb team--NYG stole the show. There is also a ton of other ex and current players there with over 250 tables of memmorabilia and such. I mean this is one of the best shows I've ever been to, at least it was up till 2008.

So far NYG players for this year are: Ottis Anderson, Ron Dayne, Frank Gifford, Sam Huff, Mike Strahan, THEE Lawrence Taylor, Ya Tittle and still more to be announced.

thats actually a great comparison and at the moment i think hes better than ocho..

but ocho in his prime was sickness

from 03 to 07 he was nuts

1355 and 10
1274 and 9
1432 and 9
1369 and 7
1449 and 8

dude was a beast
yea those are some ridic stats. but if manningham was a number 1 i think hed have similar numbers. 1400 yards is amazing though, ****.
