lol--I am LUIGI. " I only follow the ferrari's"......Quote from Cars-Disney Pixar
What was he doing in Vegas?

dude u walk on the strip or in old vegas people are just dressed up like everything

crazyness lol
I gotta get out there someday.....hint, hint. I am finally connected to Howard via my desk pc. When I get a smart phone -I can connect that way next.

yea tahts how i do it, stream from my iphone
I like Pappa and Ross Tucker...you are better off with the iphone I have a feeling. The sirius xm.com player is quirky as hell. It takes me 3-4 trys to change the dam channel. Is it me having a senior moment or is this thing clunky wtf?

clunky?

Yea Tucker bothers me sometimes too... I like Papa n Banks. But thats just hte Giants fan in me
I am running firefox on this machine-maybe I will try IE with the sirius player and see if it is better. This is known as "streaming" correct? If so, Wed is a high traffic day for bandwith here. I will see if it's better on a diff day.

The Iphone app isn't absolutely great. It cuts out every once in a blue and I have to restart

Sirius has a good radio product, but their streaming and customer service needs serious upgrades
If I did not spend the hour myself today-their customer service email reply said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. That's nice...arghh

you gotta call...

and have a stress ball in your hand...

im not whining about crap like that. players reserve the right to be flashy if they want to....

Only thing that pissed me off last night, was that Garcia and Avaya didn't nail A-Gon, Pedroia, or Youk after Lester's complete lack of command.
You take out my 1st basemen, I take out yours.

Was it on purpose? I honestly doubt it. But this is Yankees/Sawx....take no prisoners.</P>

AJ has been playing pretty well, I like our chances with him more so than our other options.
Plus, I think Wakefield is on the mound for boston. Batting practice?

french?? gross!! lol</P>

doesnt surprise me though....young pitching is of utmost importancei feel!

I'm curious to see if anything ever comes of that kid we have in AA/AAA the past year or so. Vellardi? Villani? Soemthing with a V...
He's an ambidextrous pitcher. what wizardry is this!??!!?
imagine though?! your 3/4/5 hitters are lefty/righty/lefty...so you can just switch which arm you throw with to compensate?! lol awesome.
I just hope it isnt just some gimmick, and that the kid is effective.</P>

you know....i dont mind that girardi doesnt retaliate much. shows good sportsmanship, but something needs to be done. the rivalry has cooled off since the early-mid 2000s but boston pitching seems to want bad blood, and i say we oblige. were lucky tex isnt done for the season. that fastball to the knee cap looked like it suuuuuuuucked. i slammed my knee into a car door yesterday so i felt his pain.

I agree....we need some heat to spark things back up.
it's good to see swish and posada contributing a little, because theyve been so bad....but we need some real action here!!

I don't get alot of rivalry talk anywhere else, because the only boston fans i know are kind of ridiculous. like 1 is pretty fairweather, but he just hates the yankees more than he cares about anything else. he cant really hold a legit conversation about it.
And the other guy is just stupid. last night on fb, after the tex hbp, he says "lets hope he's done for the season".....

he can give the nod. lol and i hope aj does. dont even hit them, just throw a few high a tight. let them know "WE DONT PLAY DAT ****!!!" i have to say aj seems like a great team mate. always in the dugout joking with the guys, always one of the first to meet you in the dugout and give a highfive when you hit a hr or something. and you know hes got your back, hes extremely competitive(its also a fault to some extent cause he gets in his head when hes not playing well, hes his own worst enemy). seems like he likes(proud) being a yank, i love that in a player.

naaa i dont want the warnings of dont **** with us

so far our only retaliations have been offspeed stuff from CC

****IN THROW at them and lets end this ****. Its because for the past decade we never stick up for ourselves. Only when Clemons or Boomer were here would teams be worried about it. CC will throw, but he does it just to do it. No point is made with his throws... I hope AJ rears back and throws a 98 mph right at the ribs.

naaa i dont want the warnings of dont **** with us

so far our only retaliations have been offspeed stuff from CC

****IN THROW at them and lets end this ****. Its because for the past decade we never stick up for ourselves. Only when Clemons or Boomer were here would teams be worried about it. CC will throw, but he does it just to do it. No point is made with his throws... I hope AJ rears back and throws a 98 mph right at the ribs.

after I read that...i'm like yea he should start the game that way....and then i laughed and im like...it's funny, because Ellsbury broke his ribs last year. lol</P>

you know....i dont mind that girardi doesnt retaliate much. shows good sportsmanship, but something needs to be done. the rivalry has cooled off since the early-mid 2000s but boston pitching seems to want bad blood, and i say we oblige. were lucky tex isnt done for the season. that fastball to the knee cap looked like it suuuuuuuucked. i slammed my knee into a car door yesterday so i felt his pain.

its not on girardi. Its on the players. This is one of the reasons why I like AJ, I expect retaliation from him
he can give the nod. lol and i hope aj does. dont even hit them, just throw a few high a tight. let them know "WE DONT PLAY DAT ****!!!" i have to say aj seems like a great team mate. always in the dugout joking with the guys, always one of the first to meet you in the dugout and give a highfive when you hit a hr or something. and you know hes got your back, hes extremely competitive(its also a fault to some extent cause he gets in his head when hes not playing well, hes his own worst enemy). seems like he likes(proud) being a yank, i love that in a player.

Drives me nuts.</p>MH-please send me copies of those pics. MY 7 yr old is infatuated with bears. We spend hours on the computer researching how to survive bear attacks, largest bears, stories, etc.

He would be so psyched. Pm the pics to me.
you need a spear and you need to wait for it to get on its hind legs, then get under him and let the bears weight do the rest. anthony hopkins and alec baldwin taught me that one.
That was a great movie--something "edge"? That blonde supermodel wanted to kill the old *******. Hopkins is awesome! Love Hannibel and Red Dragon

no, Morehead is right.
"pitbull" is a made up word. it's not a breed.
There are a handful of breeds that can fit into the pitbull stereotype. The American Staffordshire Terrier is just one of them. But in terms of looks, they are for sure the best looking ones of the lot.</P>

Now I'm at a bit of a disadvantage on this, because after my golf league I was only watching the game from afar at the bar. So I didn't see everything in detail. So please answer me on this.</P>

-Did any of the mean old Red Sox players toss their bat after a home run in a way that made the Yankees or their fans uncomfortable? ......Gosh I hope not.</P>

-Did Tim Wakefield buzz any of the Yankee hitters under their chins with his 68 MPH fastball?.........That would be very hurtful to you guys.</P>

I just want to get the whining out of the way early if the Sox did anything to make the Yankees feel bad. I don't want you guys to feel that the Sox are mean.</P>

I hope we can get these things out of the way early, so we can talk about baseball. That is if any of you aren't too traumatized by the whole thing. We all know how delicate you are when the Sox are mean to you.</P>

Jim Finn(Former NYG) is a character. Evidently, he was married to Rosa Blasi(actress, jock infatuator, book writer). After they consumated their marriage on the wedding night, on valentines day, he went to her best friends room and did her too. Now she wrote a book about all the jocks she married that cheated on her, blah, blah, blah.

I don't think she is too credible, just my opinion. She said that she told Jim Finn last week that if he was planning her murder for writing the book that he will not receive child support for their daughter if she is dead. Why would she have to pay him child support, when he was the out of control philanderer? Doesn't make sense.

Your team has a lot of problems. I'm serious. 85 wins is about right. You had to know it was going to be a struggle this season. You can't be giving us 11 runs at home with your supposed #2 starter on the mound. (who by the way has a career ERA near 9 against us)</P>

As I said in another thread, all we have done to this point is dig ourselves out of a very deep hole. The season essentially starts now, and its a 3 horse race. I'm including you guys but your team is not looking good.</P>

Not sure if you ever heard old Howard stuff from the late 80's early 90's. He did a bit on the homo room-hilarious stuff. There was this bit about some kid who was a whiner. The quote would go "Yes indeed the young boy was a whiner!" -the announcer had a voice like the guy who used to do the show-the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Anyway -Anthony Weiner always reminds me of that bit.

It was reported today that Weiner's wife is 10 weeks prego. Ha.

Doesn't make sense.

well I just go to BJs and buy like 6 cases of each and they have three flavors in each

snapple is regular iced tea, rasberry, and peach - peach is the worst and regular is the best

Gatorade is the red, orange, and yellow. Yellow is probably the worst (my fav) and orange is probably the best

Funny-my pref on the snapple is fruit punch, but in order I would choose Peach, Rasberry then regular. Gatorade: Orange, red, yellow.

What is the cost per drink at bj's. I get gatorade for a buck a piece at dollar store.

Yeah-we all break down every play to determine which plays were most detrimental to losing-but in the end although the stats do not tell the whole story--time and time again, they come very close to predicting the outcome of future games if the same mistakes are made.

What's common sense to us, is not to everyone.

But on average, when you protect the ball, we win, when you turn it over, we lose.</p>It's that simple. The three picks, was that the MNF game in 2010? We came dangerously close to losing that one at the end. Luck may have intervened. We were not so lucky in the last eagle game.

“The Eagles are rumored to be a potential home for Burress, and were

Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press (http://www.centredaily.com/2011/06/08/2764388/vick-hopes-burress-uses-him-as.html)wrote an article earlier today that highlighted Michael Vick’s words for Plaxico Burress to put family first and let <SPAN style="BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; COLOR: darkgreen" id=itxthook0w0 class="itxtrst itxtrstspan itxthookspan">football</SPAN> (http://www.nygiantscentral.com/2011/06/associated-press-writer-rob-maaddi-says-former-new-york-giants-wr-plaxico-burress-is-not-part-of-philadelphia-eagles-plans.html/#) come second.</P>

He also mentioned that a source close to the team’s thinking said they aren’t looking to sign Burress, despite the many members of the media standing by that prediction.<SPAN id=more-1493></SPAN></P>

“The Eagles are rumored to be a potential home for Burress, and were even listed on one betting website as the favorites to land him at 3-2 odds,” according to Maaddi. “But a person familiar with the team’s thinking told The Associated Press that Burress isn’t in their plans.”</P>

Morning errrrbody.
It's going to be a good day, I can tell!
My best friend isn't being a complete ***** to me (there's a first time for everything), and when I got into work at 11, there was no office for me so I didn't have to do anything for an hour =]

I didn't even have to use my AK...today was a very good day....

MH--I knew it would happen, but I still cannot believe how your post(which you have posted before) on Eli's winning % based on number of yards thrown and int's-still manages to attract those who challenge it.

They are statistical facts. Numbers that constitute and make up wins and loses. That part is undisputable.

To me anyway.

thats not a post - thats common sense...

for instance the GB game.. did Eli throw 4 INTs? Yes he did. BRUTAL stat for a game

was that th reason we lost that game? Nopeeeeee

you can't just look at stats and expect it to tell the whole story... especially if u watch every down like all of us do...
</p>

We can always cite individual games where it goes the other way. Eli threw 3 picks against Dallas and we won.</p>

But on average, when you protect the ball, we win, when you turn it over, we lose.</p>It's that simple. The three picks, was that the MNF game in 2010? We came dangerously close to losing that one at the end. Luck may have intervened. We were not so lucky in the last eagle game.

and that first dallas game is a PERFECT example. He threw 3 picks and we still won and we scored 41 points that game...

68 yards for a TD
80 yards for a TD
56 yards for a TD
55 yards for a TD
70 yards for a TD

Nicks is a playmaker with one on one coverage. EVen if he was covered, i'd still like our chances of completeing it..

but regardless, you've pinpointed that play as the play that changed our season and pointed fingers at Eli for it...

Don't worry Yankee fans. Its a long season.</p>

Plus look on the bright side. Maybe 85 wins will get you a wild card.</p>

</p>

Keep your opinions to yourself. </p>

Its <font size="6">JUNE!!!!!!</font></p>

</p>

I'm including you guys but your team is not looking good.</p>

one game up in the al east and its already gone to mhs head
</p>

85 wins is a fair estimate. At least I'm giving them a .500+ season. Only because Colon has surprised me.</p>

Now Dezz....Did Papi toss the bat in a way that didn't offend you last night when he hit the HR in the first? Or was he mean?</p>oh how yeee forgets 09. how many times did the sox beat the yanks at the beginning of the season? we can add mr june to the list of your nicknames.

Why don't the Yankee pitchers do the same. If they did, you wouldn't here a peep out of me. These things should be policed on the field. And no one believes that Jon Lester is going to intentionally hit anyone early in the game with guys on base. Thats just foolish to say. </P>

dude our offense scored 41 points AND the defense let Kitna score two second half touchdowns which didn't come off of turnovers

JON ****ING KITNA
yea i gotta say im really not impressed with fewell at all. he was brought in here to stop the pass. payton threw all over us, the lions, kitna twice, vick twice and greenbay baaad. i think hes terrible actually.

Yea I agree. I like him cuz hes aggressive and preaches turnovers. I mean hes not awful, but hes just directing a bunch of studs on the field, not a hard job unless ur name is Sheridan

Our defense is stacked with talent. Need somebody to game plan better
That's right--I forgot about that. Our defense laid down and let them go the field for two scores. Similar to the eagle game. I think we have a bunch of talent on the defense also--but it didn't show at those moments.

Morehead....what exactly do you consider complaining??

NOBODY in here complained about it!! The only "complaint" I had was that we didn't throw something back, because it's not realy how the Yankees play. I even admitted that I knew Lester didn't hit Tex or Martin on purpose.

It's like you make stuff up just so YOU can whine about it to us or something.

And nobody here complained about Ortiz tossing his bat here either. Nobody gives a ****. If you don't want someone to toss their bat after a HR, then don't throw them a HR pitch. lol. pretty simple stuff.
I know for a fact that Girardi went and made a big deal about it because my team wasn't showing any fire at that point of the game, and he needed to spark something.

I'm not talking about that. Games are won and lost and its a long season. Its all of your whining about tossed bats and pitches inside that makes me laugh at you guys.

Take your losses like men and stop the whining. You may win again. Keep a good thought. Maybe even tonight. (probably not though)</p>

</p>

not ONE person in this thread said anything about that yesterday. YOU were the one who brought it up in this thread. If you want to waste your time talking with a bunch of whiners in another thread, that's your issue. dont bring it here.</p>

</p>

We beat you guys and everytime we do you all whine about steroids from years ago. And you all do it. Matt is complaining as we speak about the Sox pitchers hitting Yankee batters. Why don't the Yankee pitchers do the same. If they did, you wouldn't here a peep out of me. These things should be policed on the field. And no one believes that Jon Lester is going to intentionally hit anyone early in the game with guys on base. Thats just foolish to say. </p>

And Your manager was whining about Papi and his bat. It should be embarrassing for you guys.</p>

that is actually gay i will admit

but again u were the only person to bring up steroids besides that funny pic from ny06 yesterday.

And it is scumbaggish. I can admit that my manager is being gay about complaining, pathetic u can't man up about the fact that ur pitchers are scum and throw at our batters any chance they can.

agreed. i would of thought you of all people would of found that move tasteless. maybe its cause you dont live in the ny area, but athletes that play in ny know who the rivals in every sport are. why didnt he want to wear his yankee or mets hat? it was without a doubt a slap in the face to the giants. you think he kept a phillys hat in prison with him? give me a break

How many times has Yuke been hit by the Yankees. have I ever complained. Even once. no because I'm not soft like you.</P>

Jeter gets hit because he reaches into the strike zone. You have to knock a guy who does that off the plate. Papi got thrown at and then in the same at bat hit a HR. Thats howyou take care of these things.</P>

You guys just complain.</P>

Evidentally, wearing a baseball cap from a particular city, is a subliminal message that you want to play for the football team of the same city.</P>

When Tom Brady wore that Yankee hat, he must have been indicating that he wanted a trade to the Giants.</P>

And someone show me a quote of Plaxico saying that he wanted to play for the Eagles.</P>

i'm not saying it was or wasn't a message, but knowing the character that Plax is and with all the swirling rumors - to say that its insane to think that theres absolutely no way

the point of plax trying ot be a ******. The rumors were out that he wanted to go to philly and that he has an issue with the giants (probably coughlin specifically). That some how he feels the victim and were the cause of it...

he may of gotten a bum deal, but it was his own fault for even being in that position

in this specific situation to come out of jail wearing the hat of the city of the biggest rival of ur ex team - u could be trying to say something. it very well could be just a hat... but to say its definite one way or another or that either opinion is that out of the realm is silly
