Burress was talking all sorts of cozy about getting a sb ring with the Jets today. I really don't want to see that. I do want to see how NYG fans greet Burress if he does go with the jets on 8/27 for our pre-season game.
</p>

why is everyone thinking these things are feasible?</p>

Are you referring to him playing for jets or there being a season? The later, I just have to be optimistic on.

B-I know he's a bonehead. LOL
</p>

well I just think its strange that first its the whole philly thing he's talkin about.....and now the jets thing hes talking about.
Until i hear a team say they are pursuing him....where are these talks coming from</p>

and who says the jets are winning anything? their team is losing pieces too in case anyone forgot.</p>

yeah...he's trying to spin that he's learned something and every work out of his mouth proves he hasn't ...lol</p>

I think the guy might have somehting wrong with him mentally....like, the people who have no <font size="4">inner monologue. </font>a kid I used to work with had a problem like that....he would just say whatever he was thinking...to the point where youd have to ignore him because you could no longer tell if he was even talking to you lol</p>Those voices just won't shut up in my head--[:D] I think your right-Plax has got issues

sorry Lt... the guy needs to keep his mouth shut ..its looking like they should have given him the maximum...I beginning to think he didn't learn anything..just got dumber...I guess I don't care where he goes or how he does anymore...he's lost me ...No need to apologize B. I am impressed by more and more way's how so many football players find ways to self-destruct.

I always think to a few years back, when the Yankees couldnt beat the Orioles, and they were terrible. We would go on a 10 game winning streak, and then get swept by the O's
it happens.</P>

Morning Shwaggs..
Random story of the day-
About 2 years back, i decided to take on the task of putting together a sweet piece to the collection. Autographs of players from the entire 1957 Yankee and Braves teams. If the player so much as had coffee with the team, he was added to the collection. So grabbing the bull by the horns, i decided to tackle the Yankee team, thinking this would get the more expensive autographs out of the way.
Seeing how they had players or coaches such as Mantle, Berra, Stengle, Howard, Bauer, Skowron, Martin, Crosetti, Slaughter, Ford, Larson, Terry, Shantz, and so on. Considering how i already had autographs of Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews, and the Hammer for the Braves as compared to only Mantle and Berra for the Yanks.

BOY WAS I WRONG- The autographs of Fred Haney, Phil Paine, Danny O' Connell, and Wes Covington alone cost me more than most of the ones i needed of the Yankees.

I must say however that it is one of the nicest pieces in the compound.. :)

i love these patsy sightings we are having

Morning Shwaggs.. Random story of the day- About 2 years back, i decided to take on the task of putting together a sweet piece to the collection. I must say however that it is one of the nicest pieces in the compound.. :)</P>

wowwww thats nuts!!! Was it because those ones are harder to come by than say the likes of a Mantle or Berra autograph or something??
What an awesome idea though!!!! such dedication! hahah</P>

Not comparing the two, but many said the same thing about Bill Belichick</p>Speaking of Pats, Beli is not going to be around forever and either is Brady. starting in 2006, the Pats really have not done that well in
the draft. They got some good free agents, but considering how loaded they were for the draft this year-I was not overly impressed. In 2006,
their 1st round pick (21st overall) was Laurence Maroney, who they
traded to Denver, and he was ok, their 2nd round pick (36th
overall) was Chad Jackson who has hardly played at all. Also, they've
had two #1 picks for awhile, but always seem to use one them to get a #1
pick for "NEXT" year. They also traded away all pro Richard Seymour a
couple of years ago and have lacked a good pass rush ever since. They
seem to lack a "let's win this year at all costs philosophy. They may have taken their
"price-performance"strategy too far. I liked what they did last year,
butthey didn't seem to address their weaknesses this year. They still
lack a good pass rush.
Maybe they're hoping that Ty Warren will recover from his injury this
year.

During the NFL Lockout, coaches have been unable to communicate with
players, which includes rookies they may have just drafted in the 2011
NFL Draft.</p>

For Perry Fewell, he was so excited to have Nebraska’s Prince
Amukamara and North Carolina’s Marvin Austin fall to the Giants, and now
he can’t wait to have the opportunity to coach them. <span id="more-1551"></span></p>

Specifically, he had this to say on Amukamara.</p>

“I am enthused about working with him,” Fewell said. “I’m sad that I
haven’t had an opportunity to work with him at this point of time. I’m
very, very excited. I think he showed some really good things on tape
from Nebraska. We’d like to take it to another level.”</p>

Of Marvin Austin, Perry Fewell didn’t have much to say on his
suspension, but did admit they face a challenge to keep Austin engaged.</p>

“I don’t know how you can account for what happened to him,” Fewell
said. ” I do know this: Evaluating his junior tapes and looking at some
of his workout, he is extremely talented. Now, will he make a
commitment and be a consistent for us and make it pay off for us this
fall? That’s the challenge for us going into 2011 season.”</p>

For Perry Fewell, he was so excited to have Nebraska’s Prince Amukamara and North Carolina’s Marvin Austin fall to the Giants, and now he can’t wait to have the opportunity to coach them. <SPAN id=more-1551></SPAN></P>

Specifically, he had this to say on Amukamara.</P>

“I am enthused about working with him,” Fewell said. “I’m sad that I haven’t had an opportunity to work with him at this point of time. I’m very, very excited. I think he showed some really good things on tape from Nebraska. We’d like to take it to another level.”</P>

Of Marvin Austin, Perry Fewell didn’t have much to say on his suspension, but did admit they face a challenge to keep Austin engaged.</P>

“I don’t know how you can account for what happened to him,” Fewell said. ” I do know this: Evaluating his junior tapes and looking at some of his workout, he is extremely talented. Now, will he make a commitment and be a consistent for us and make it pay off for us this fall? That’s the challenge for us going into 2011 season.”</P>

jp-Did your dog leave yet?
</P>

yea, this morning =\</P>

I didn't even get to see her yesterday, but thats ok.
It's kind of depressing for me that she probably doesnt even know that she is mine cuz it's been so long since she's lived with me. it's been years. =((((</P>

How many years since? Once you get the space-you gotta get a dog.
</P>

umm....like 8 years =\
I moved out at the end of 2002 I think, she was still kind of a puppy back then....meaning she didnt weight 150 lbs =P haha

yea once I get a place, I'm going to put alot of effort into getting a young Staffordshire Terrier from a rescue. There's a place where my brother got theirs, they rescue the dogs from hi-kill shelters. lady has a website and will give you the most detailed descriptions of the dogs personality and temperments, and she even does home visits! so she will bring a dog to you to make sure it's comfortable with you out of it's comfort zone.
I want a black one though...i know that's specific, but I just like the look of them better than the brown and white ones.</P>

one was of my 3 year old niece holding the doggy treats in her hand and telling tizzie to rollover....it was so awesome. tizzie will automatically do tricks once she knows you have treats. u say "down!" and she'll lay down and rollover immediately lol. sometimes you dont even have to tell her hahahahaha. cute picture though.

:)Sounds like a prized collection!* Good for you Sir.* Only true collectors/fans can appreciate.* How are the signatures organized/displayed?
Two very large professionaly made museum quality frames. All the autos are either on baseball cards or index cards trimmed down to fit. There is a card for every player to go along with the auto. Most are either signed rookie cards or rookie cards with cut signature..

That lady with the shelter sounds perfect to make sure a dog is good in your home. Your preference for black hair is normal, I'm the same way. I met a golden doodle the same age as mine last week at the gas station. She was in the car while the owner was getting gas. I got to talking....what a great temperment in that breed I swear Dog just instantly loves human interaction.

wowwww thats nuts!!! Was it because those ones are harder to come by than say the likes of a Mantle or Berra autograph or something??
What an awesome idea though!!!! such dedication! hahah</P>I know for sure That O'Connell is because he died at a very young age back in 1969 before autographs became popular, so there are very limited quantities. My theory on Haney is that he was a miserable drunk and refused to sign anything. Not sure what the reasoning is on the other guys, but those 4 guys along with Connie Ryan cost me roughly $600.00

During the NFL Lockout, coaches have been unable to communicate with players, which includes rookies they may have just drafted in the 2011 NFL Draft.</P>

</P>

yea, this morning =\</P>

I didn't even get to see her yesterday, but thats ok.
It's kind of depressing for me that she probably doesnt even know that she is mine cuz it's been so long since she's lived with me. it's been years. =((((</P>

How many years since? Once you get the space-you gotta get a dog.
</P>

umm....like 8 years =\
I moved out at the end of 2002 I think, she was still kind of a puppy back then....meaning she didnt weight 150 lbs =P haha

yea once I get a place, I'm going to put alot of effort into getting a young Staffordshire Terrier from a rescue.
I want a black one though...i know that's specific, but I just like the look of them better than the brown and white ones.</P>

dpnt get them from a shelter. you cant trust those places.
</P>

it's not a shelter. it's a basically a rescue this lady runs. she gets the dogs from the shelters because so many "pitbulls" are usually killed.
Tizzie for example was used as a breeding dog.they used her to havea bunch of puppies because she is quite the specimen, and then when the 'owners' were done with her, she was abandoned. thats how they end up in high-kill shelters.
i would assume that alot of ppl dont go looking for pitbulls specifically, so this lady takes them in, makes sure they arent violent, and then she finds them good homes.
It's very admirable. and i hope i can find one thru her when im ready.</P>

I don't know. He's been pitching well of late in Pawtucket. Seems like a questionable risk. Aceves has done a nice job as a starter and with Wakefield thats six guys right there.</P>

My favorite is the 2007 nfc championship hat (black , white and red). I have a black leather NYG hat--plus so many others.

I like the grey pants and I liked the jersey's that had the red outline on the numbers. My LT has the red number borders.

I predict we will start this season on time and miss no games, but it would be cool if the Giants had camp at their training facility in NJ and not Albany. It would be easier to get down to see them rather than trekking all the way up to Albany.

I'm thinking maybe the met's pennant win in the early 70's or was there a football game when they tore down the goal post's since then, I'm not sure. "In early April 2008, approximately two weeks before the start of the
New York Giants offseason conditioning program, I, Osi Umenyiora, had a
meeting with the general manager of the New York Giants, Mr. Jerry
Reese.

"After about an hour of discussing my current contract, as well as the
contracts of other defensive ends currently playing in the National
Football League, Mr. Reese told me that two years from the start of the
2008 league year, if I was currently playing at a high level, we'd
either renegotiate my current contract so that it would be equal to that
of the top five defensive ends playing or I would be traded to a team
that would do that.</p>

"Before leaving the meeting, I asked Mr. Reese twice if he was
absolutely sure that would be the case. He then told me that he was an
honest and church-going man and that he would not lie, which I believed
to the be the case. Under the penalty of perjury these statements are

Hmm..true what jp brought up. What's status of Kiwi's neck injury? I would consider him fragile at best. One wrong hit away from it being over for good. Leaves us with Jpp, Tuck and Boley aka romo steam truck(on occassional lb blitzes). This is not good for our De's depth.

Under the penalty of perjury these statements are
true and accurate."</p>
Hmm..true what jp brought up. What's status of Kiwi's neck injury? I would consider him fragile at best. One wrong hit away from it being over for good. Leaves us with Jpp, Tuck and Boley aka romo steam truck(on occassional lb blitzes). This is not good for our De's depth.
i know hes not ready. probably next year.

tuck/austin/canty/jpp im not worried at all. pizz is right weve been spoiled at de. but maybe we can get someone sick in a trade

He really had awesome play last year...there's no guarantee he will repeat this year. I guess he's got to look out for his $. How old is he ?

yea. just sucks. if what he's saying is true, well, it sucks regardless,...but i know you guys are excited for JPP, <U>but is Kiwi </U>even healthy enough to play?! we arent exactly stacked on DE without Osi...so the D is something to look into =\</P>

dont think so, but he wants to stay a giant. and thats all i care about.

future note to osi. if you want a new contract, maybe the best way going about it isnt calling the guy that makes the decision a liar, just maybe.
</P>

nah man, I think the point was that Osi was saying "this was supposed to be done last year" kinda thing. he's playin the 'damage is done' card.
well...whatever. Silver lining is that since he had adecent season, and then agood season, we can get something decent for him in a trade. Maybe add to the defense some more. LB? Safety?
OR maybe even a decent RB</P>

followed up with a year in 09 of NOT playing at a high level and being benched by seasons end

2010 he played great, but it was also before a huge lockout lol. Wtf does he expect.

Just when i was starting to come aorund on Osi - he puts me back to not liking him

nothings going to ever change, so it's not really worth talking about.
Too many ****ing problems right here at home, and for some god forsaken reason we're more concerned about ****ing around in the sand, and wasting all our money on that.

Yes my issue is with the war itself. but the reason we're still participating in these fabricated wars is because that's where all the money is funnelled. it's just a cycle, and endless one at that. Like i said...nothing will change, so it's probably not worth talking about.</P>

I'm fairly sure that the heli took on fire. I don't know about a direct hit, couldn't of been I don't think, none of our guy's perished, but it's common for fire to create malfunctions in the systems.

Speaking of helicopters-the new toy helicopters, toys-r-us, etc are freaking awesome. My little guy has been playing with them for over a year now. I just got one from kohls the other night , me and him run midnight ops in the dark. I've got blinking blue lights and he has red.

The porn star who texted Weiner and wrote hat she had to have sex with him is crying that she has been unable to pursue her career as a real estate agent. Ginger claims that she only wanted to discuss planned parenthood and the healthcare system. The 100 personal messages that the two exchanged were on those social issue topics. Ginger claims that Weiner would try to deviate each exchange and she would stop talking with him. ha.

She's is headlining at a strip club in Atlanta using the weiner case as publicity.

yea i love this. i saved it for my roommate.</P>

as you know, i'm a full fledged, card carrying member of the organization of "steal everything"
My roommate used to be also, but now he striclty downloads tv shows, the ocassional movie.
Whereas I do that and all music.

He has reformed into the person who says "wouldnt you pay for entertainment? pay for someone else's hard work?"
I think it had to do with when he became a mac fanboy, and ppl realized you had to pay for so many apps. the profits will eventually come to the developers....
and also he's a photographer, and wishes to sell his work.

I'm like, dude thats all fine and dandy....i'm not arguing any of that...but, I'm not paying simply because it's free to me and I dont have to! I'm not made of money!!</P>

Interesting flip flop by your friend to go from one side to the opposite other? Eh-so a photographer, I can see it I guess. What's he take his pictures of?

If it's there take it, that's my motto. Within reason of course. My training partner was out of his mind. We would be leaving a competition and my gym bag would be heavy as hell, I would look at him and he would say, you just lifted 500 lbs stop whining like a biatch!! We'd get to the truck and there would be medicine balls, 5 and 10 lb weight plates. He's like ---"it's a souvenier" lmao
