no ****, that means Lebron is one step closer to possibly living at the Mecca
The Big 3
The King, Curry, and Amare
Oh, a man can dream....
we'll know if Amare is coming or not by what we do with Lee
Can't have both? Amare at the center Lee at the PF, the King at SF, Curry at the two and PG in spots and then a PG to be named later?
And throw Krypto-Nate in the mix too

i don't think with the d'antoni offense they are going to load up the cap with two power forwards. If they resign Nate and Lee to the contracts they are worth then there will only be money to sign one big name

LT my man....live it up, but don't get tied up. As they said ...its just the facts. Sad but true. And to be honest, you don't want to be tied to the same person as you go through college, you've got so much to experience and so much fun and trouble to get into.
Just live your life to the fullest amigo experience all that you can, and don't let any one person hold you back from doing so!

The j, the i, the m, the m
The y, the j, the i, the m
It's jimmy!
It's jimmy! x2
Here is a message to the super-hoes
Just keep in mind when jimmy grows
It grows and grows and grows, so let it
But keep in mind about the epidemic
When jimmy releases, boy it pleases
But what do you do about all these diseases?
Jimmy is jimmy, no matter what
So take care of jimmy cos you know what's up
Cos now in winter aids attacks
So run out and get your jimmy hats
It costs so little for a pack of three
They're jimmy hats for the winter attack
Good for a present, great for lovers
Demonstrated by the jungle brothers
Protect your jimmy and keep it fresh
They're jimmy hats by krs
The j, the i, the m, the m
The y, the j, the i, the m
It's jimmy!
It's jimmy!
So, remember you're never too old (jimmy is wearin' a hat)
Remember you're never too bold (jimmy is wearin' a hat)
Do me a favour, wear your hat
So jimmy...will have the opportunity to come back
Well, red alert is down with bdp
Teachin' you all about jimbrowski
I don't wanna hear that you're not with it
Turn around and see your butt in a clinic
Havin' doctors just poke at jimmy
Let me express what now what's in me
Too many people take too many risks
Too many people I see get dissed
Jimmy hats are now in style
Cos you can't trust a big butt and a smile
Some are dry and some lubricated
Many companies make and made it
So all you super-hoes, wear your hat
Cos drippin' jimmies is straight up wack
Keep in mind about jimbrowski
Jimmy hats by BDP!!!

Is anyone watching this Family Guy on Adullt Swim right now?
This is by far one of the best episodes I've ever seen
Satire on stephen king novels and the Shawshank redemption....LMAO
this **** is priceless.
I only saw the Shawshank part, but hell yea def a funny episode
He busts the pipe to the clapping part of the "Friends" theme song lololol
It doesn't get any better than that.

Yeah I lost it on that one too. The episode from a few weeks ago with the chic from "The Hills" was an instant classic also.

morning.... got a qoute from Amare Stoudamire about Chris bosh and the Knicks
ESPN (New York) Radio's Brandon Tierney had Amare Stoudemire on this morning and reiterated remarks about his desire to play for Mike D'Antoni in 2010 while boasting about being better than Chris Bosh. Stoudemire told The Post similar stuff during All-Star Weekend.
When asked Stoudemire if he's better than Bosh, the Suns forward said, "Oooh man, are you kidding me? Ask Chris Bosh that question."
So that's a yes?
"No doubt about it, I'm better than Chris Bosh"
"How serious will you consider the New York Knicks in 2010"?
"I will be totally serious about that, I spent a lot of my childhood there, I have a connection with the state, and I also love the entire coaching staff.
" I think Coach D'Antoni's doing a phenomenal job with the Knicks, NY's a great city, I follow them closely." -- New York Post

Morning Matt. Yeah I saw that. That is awesome. I really hope we can get him to go along with Bron in 2010. And if there is any way to get Rubio in the draft this year, I want them to do it. He is a good PG and you need a good PG to be successful in today's NBA.
Oh yeah, you're free from the sig bet? Tell me buddy... does it feel nice to be able to change ur sig whenever you please?

even if you didn't want to hook up with any of the girls there because of your shyness you could have at least seen some tities cause there were trucks riding around with girls on the back all over the place...and Bubba's Bar and Gril right next to the casino had a Lingerie/Bikini contest that just turned into a strip club later that night on Thursday and Saturday nights.

Oh I knew he was gonna, he was the only one that took 4 tires and he was just so fast the entire race...was getting to a 4-5 car length lead in 30-35 seconds after a restart...that's unheard of.

tell you the truth, the guys and the 24 yo girls didn't even go to the race, they came down with a camper and were setup behind us but never went, the 2 21yo girls ended up sitting next to me in our extra seats up in turn 3....it was their first race they were funny...she was trying to video tap an accident with her phone and kept asking when it was gonna happen...I was like...I can't TELL you when its gonna happen its an Accident! so she'd video tap like 15 laps here or there was funny ****...got burnt up a bit though was hot out there in the stand.
LOTTA Philly and Cowboys fans...which made for some lively conversations.
Word, do alotta people just come down and party like that w/o goin 2 the race???

That was a nice race for the last 20 laps. I can't believe Jimmy came back like that.
WOW Lando, I had no idea you were a NASCAR head...
I am not really a HUGE fan. I know the drivers and stuff. I just like watching the last 50 laps or so. It gets intense there so I enjoy that.
yeah the first 350 weren't that great this year...I'm going again in Sept though...LT better be down that time...I mean he's right there and its free for him.

Oh I knew he was gonna, he was the only one that took 4 tires and he was just so fast the entire race...was getting to a 4-5 car length lead in 30-35 seconds after a restart...that's unheard of.
I'm impressed Tony held him off for as long as he did.
It was cool. I like him. I have 2 good friends who love Jimmy like we love the Giants so I follow him.

I don't really like him, but I clapped as he was doing his victory laps because he really did race well so you can't hate the guy....the only guys I hate are the Busch Babies, My Drivers are Harvick/Biffle/Truex/Jr. I don't mind Tony either would have liked to have seen him win but he took the points lead anyhow so that's good.
we ended up having an extra unused ticket it, you shoulda come too..I never liked Nascar at all until I went in to watch a race live...totally different experience.

Let me just say this, the Modifieds run 100 more horsepower than the Nascars..The way these guys push each other into the corners is crazy...Modifieds at NHMS is the best race of the year..

As in TV ratings across America [:P] including the east coast. it's actually getting close to Football as far as the total amount of people who watch it at a given time. If you "Hate" Nascar you are actually the minority just FYI...even in NYC or LA or other major cities.

Hockey needs to get a broadcasting deal with ESPN or Fox or someone so they can get more exposure. It's an exciting game, I just don't watch it a lot because I don't know when the games are on or what channel they're on.

Why wouldn't they be?
My point was that they are seeing race attendance decline. If people just travel to where ever and don't buy a ticket to see the race or do anything race related. As an official, wouldn't you want to know that you're selling as many tickets as possible? I mean, almost every NFL games is sold out. The race on Sunday had a lot of empty seats. If race attendance declines at tracks across the country, it would be damaging for the sport.
...besides LT.
Was that really necessary?

lets get real with this...
on a given night in baseball like tonite when there are 15 games going on, there are more viewers combined total watching than in the average nascar race...
not even debatable. These numbers are being put up against a single game, like yanks - indians.
yes nascar is going to have better numbers than the yanks-indians games, but go combine the numbers and advertizers for the other 14 games going on that night WITH the yankee game and it will **** on nascar numbers
Even if it doesn't, do the math of havein 162 regular season games (4x the number of nascar events)...

That scoring system is so stupid. Not even the drivers know how it works.
You can explain the football, basketball, and baseball scoring systems to a casual person who has never seen a game before and you can make them understand it. With Nascar? I have no idea how the drivers earn their points. I know it has to do something with how they finish in the race, but I really have no clue.

what are you talking about? the new scoring system is an attempt at the "Playoffs" it makes it so only the top 12 race cars are elidgable to win points the last 10 races of the season...which, IMO is ******ed because you still got another 30 cars racing for what amounts to nothing at that point....it used to be just a points race from the first race to the last which made sense...so a driver could win the last 10 races of the year and jump from say 40th to top 3 or something.
the scoring system is really simple, laps lead and position....not much to it really...you can get penalized points unlike other sports they don't take wins away in baseball or football.

there is no way a night of combined 15 games, with 15 ballparks.
If Delaware sold out, they would of had 140,000 people...
i think between all the games tonite there will be an average of 10k (minimum) at all games...
attendance for a night of nascar and a night of baseball really isn't more. I don't even want to get into TV viewers. GO combine ALL of tonites numbers, ratings, and attendance and compare that to nascar.

I don't know how many fans NASCAR gets in at all the races throughout the year, but I did some research...
Just using New York teams as an example, since that's the biggest market in America
The Yankees had 4,298,655 fans go to 81 home games last season. The American League average for total fans during the 81 home games was 2,464,986 fans in the season.
The Knicks had 783,715 total fans come in for their 41 home games in the 2007 season.
Now these are just one team in a league of several teams. MLB has 30, NBA has 30, NFL has 32.
There are more teams and more games for fans to attend. I don't see how a 40 race NASCAR season can have more fans than 30 MLB teams playing a 162 game season, then you add the playoffs.

NBC's telecast of the Daytona 400 blew past the competition to
become the most-watched TV program in the Syracuse area during last
month's period.

The July 7 program on WSTM-TV (Channel 3) scored a 10.8 rating,
which means it was viewed in an estimated 39,064 local households. The
show nationally ranked No. 26.

Placing second was the Major League Baseball All-Star Game,
which aired July 10 on Fox affiliate WSYT-TV (Channel 68). In Syracuse,
the game scored a 10.6 household rating, which equals about 38,340
households.

I don't know when this is from but..........

In Syracuse,
the game scored a 10.6 household rating, which equals about 38,340
households.

That was the ****ing ALL STAR game. I will keep looking though, and also think if that was in NY imagine what it was down south or nationwide for that matter.
i didn't even watch the allstar game nobody cares about allstar games
and that was in the SYRACUSE area...
weak landon lol

i said i would concede if u guys could find stats that didn't compare ONE nascar event to ONE baseball game... its a ridiculous concept that im a lil surprised u guys are still standing by
The question is, which has more "FANS" correct MMB? so why not compare say, Game 7 of the World Series ratings to say the Dayton 500... for example....that seems to be the easiest way to do it, and as has been posted here, if you look at the top 20 single events Nascar has 17 of them.
I understand thats a single event..but its seemingly impossible to compare regional vs national ratings.
I understand that you think because there is 80 games to 1 race you win period, but each of those 80 games is reacting a MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH smaller audience...that is a fact you continue to ignore.

MLB NATIONAL: USA TODAY's Bob Kimball reports Fox
Saturday afternoonMLB telecasts areaveraging a 2.0 final Nielsen
rating this season, down from a 2.5 at this point in '07. Fox
VP/Programming & Research Mike Mulvihill said that in '07, there
"were more top matchups toward the beginning of the season," but that
"it's the opposite" in '08 (USA TODAY, 6/27). Viewership for
both Fox' Saturday MLB broadcasts andESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball"is
down "about 15% from last season," whileTBS' national Sunday afternoon
broadcast isaveraging about 656,000 viewers. In N.Y., Bob Raissman
writes, "Mediocrity is affecting the ratings. ... From a business
perspective, it would benefit the networks, and MLB, if the Mets and
Yankees get their on-field business in order" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 6/27).

NASCAR: ESPN2 for itscoverage of the June 21
NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Rental 250 earned a 1.5
coverage area rating (1.9 million viewers, up 15.4% over a 1.3 last
year. Through 11 races on ESPN2, the net is averaging a 1.8 coverage
rating (2.3 million viewers), a 20% increase over '07, which does not
include the rain-delayed Stater Bros. 300 that was televised on a
Monday (THE DAILY).

Hands down its baseball
Then why doesn't it say that?
because u keep pulling single event stats out as ur argument...
but that isn't a fair ground of comparison...
Tonite most teams are playing baseball (maybe all of htem)... just those total numbers to the total numbers of the nascar event. U find me a stat that says nascar draws more in that scenerio then i will concede
There are 15 MLB games tonight.
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance
The team with the worst attendance rating averages 16,672 fans a home game.
Tonight you have games in the following cities (accompanied with their average attendance)
Atlanta: 23,964 fans
Detroit: 27,890
Yankees: 44,635
Washington: 21,037
Pittsburgh: 16,672
Toronto: 23,405
Tampa Bay: 24,324
Florida: 18,404
Houston: 29,731
Minnesota: 25,987
White Sox: 25,551
St. Louis: 40,251
San Diego: 25,857
Seattle: 26,827
Dodgers: 43,598
This is the average each stadium hosting a game tonight will see.
This is more than the Nascar Sprint Cup race
so on average 410k people JUST tonite...
game over
i'll accept ur white flags in order

MLB NATIONAL: USA TODAY's Bob Kimball reports Fox
Saturday afternoon*MLB telecasts are*averaging a 2.0 final Nielsen
rating this season, down from a 2.5 at this point in '07. Fox
VP/Programming & Research Mike Mulvihill said that in '07, there
"were more top matchups toward the beginning of the season," but that
"it's the opposite" in '08 (USA TODAY, 6/27). Viewership for
both Fox' Saturday MLB broadcasts and*ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball"*is
down "about 15% from last season," while*TBS' national Sunday afternoon
broadcast is*averaging about 656,000 viewers. In N.Y., Bob Raissman
writes, "Mediocrity is affecting the ratings. ... From a business
perspective, it would benefit the networks, and MLB, if the Mets and
Yankees get their on-field business in order" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 6/27).

NASCAR: ESPN2 for its*coverage of the June 21
NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Rental 250 earned a 1.5
coverage area rating (1.9 million viewers, up 15.4% over a 1.3 last
year. Through 11 races on ESPN2, the net is averaging a 1.8 coverage
rating (2.3 million viewers), a 20% increase over '07, which does not
include the rain-delayed Stater Bros. 300 that was televised on a
Monday (THE DAILY).

There are 15 MLB games tonight.
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance
The team with the worst attendance rating averages 16,672 fans a home game.
Tonight you have games in the following cities (accompanied with their average attendance)
Atlanta: 23,964 fans
Detroit: 27,890
Yankees: 44,635
Washington: 21,037
Pittsburgh: 16,672
Toronto: 23,405
Tampa Bay: 24,324
Florida: 18,404
Houston: 29,731
Minnesota: 25,987
White Sox: 25,551
St. Louis: 40,251
San Diego: 25,857
Seattle: 26,827
Dodgers: 43,598
This is the average each stadium hosting a game tonight will see.
This is more than the Nascar Sprint Cup race
388402 people.
Daytona is 200k+ for the CUP race and likely 100k for the Bush and 50k+ for the truck race, it's close LT, it's very close.
on the other hand the TV Audience isn't close, most of those games is only broadcast regionally, thus the reach if they are lucky, 1/50th of the audience themselves.... is there 50 games tonight? no? then it won't even come close to the national appeal that Nascar has in any of their given races...and again, there is usually 3 races a week plus Qualifying and Happy Hour for the Cup race which is also televised in the end I'd GUESS roughly, that a Race weekend (combining all the things televised) is roughly equal to about 200 regionally broadcast Baseball games... how many Baseball Games a week are there?

Hands down its baseball
Then why doesn't it say that?
because u keep pulling single event stats out as ur argument... but that isn't a fair ground of comparison... Tonite most teams are playing baseball (maybe all of htem)... just those total numbers to the total numbers of the nascar event. U find me a stat that says nascar draws more in that scenerio then i will concede

This is more than the Nascar Sprint Cup race
so on average 410k people JUST tonite... game over i'll accept ur white flags in order

By your defenition, the NFL (with far fewer games) would be way behind baseball, the NBA, Hockey etc..Its total revenues. Nascar kills all other sports on TV except football. Nascar outdraws all other sports in attendance per event.

Nascar simply makes more $$$$ than any sport except football.

I SERIOUSLY doubt thats enough then, I don't think Baseball even comes close to the total weekly amounts of television viewers that Nascar gets in a given week, I'd estimate (out of my butt) you'd need nearly 200 games to match it.

There are 15 MLB games tonight.
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance
The team with the worst attendance rating averages 16,672 fans a home game.
Tonight you have games in the following cities (accompanied with their average attendance)
Atlanta: 23,964 fans
Detroit: 27,890
Yankees: 44,635
Washington: 21,037
Pittsburgh: 16,672
Toronto: 23,405
Tampa Bay: 24,324
Florida: 18,404
Houston: 29,731
Minnesota: 25,987
White Sox: 25,551
St. Louis: 40,251
San Diego: 25,857
Seattle: 26,827
Dodgers: 43,598
This is the average each stadium hosting a game tonight will see.
This is more than the Nascar Sprint Cup race
388402 people.
Daytona is 200k+ for the CUP race and likely 100k for the Bush and 50k+ for the truck race, it's close LT, it's very close.
on the other hand the TV Audience isn't close, most of those games is only broadcast regionally, thus the reach if they are lucky,* 1/50th of the audience themselves.... is there 50 games tonight? no? then it won't even come close to the national appeal that Nascar has in any of their given races...and again, there is usually 3 races a week plus Qualifying and Happy Hour for the Cup race which is also televised in the end I'd GUESS roughly, that a Race weekend (combining all the things televised) is roughly equal to about 200 regionally broadcast Baseball games... how many Baseball Games a week are there?
where are u pulling this from? your ***?
It is regional, but there is also baseball network. Dude this isn't even close...
btw bad math... i just added the thousands and i got 409k
so for ONE night of baseball (equivalent to ONE race) it ****s on it.. if u want to bring the othe rtwo races into it, then i'll just multiply the 409 x 3.
not even close brotha...

That's what I'm trying to tell you LT, it's ALOT of people...more then you can imagine.
That's part of the reason I get a little ticked off when people talk about how redneck Nascar fans are.... sure there are some like that, but nowadays its an accepted sport... there isn't much difference between a Giants football game tailgate and a Nascar race tailgate besides the size Nascar is obviously multiple times larger and the length of time to tailgate...which is often 3 days worth of tailgate for Nascar and 4-6 hours worth at a giants game.
which is also why you REALLY should have came LT.

I'm making BROAD estimates...but they aren't as far off as you seem to think, they are closer to the truth then what you are saying.
It is regional, but there is also baseball network.
Yeah? how many people do you think pay for the baseball network? I don't think it's enough man...I'm being serious, and ontop of that there is a channel called "Speed" that has pretty much 12 hours of Nascar on it any given day...and its not even a pay channel...
Dude this isn't even close...
btw bad math... i just added the thousands and i got 409k

Ok I give that for ONE race all the Baseball Stadiums hold more people...so what? they also do Bush and Sprint cup races on the same day in 2 different stadiums sometimes, that's a possibility of 400k...but all of that is besides the point...because actually Attendence means NOTHING compared to the TV audience, and NASCAR wins the TV Audience hands down over all your games combined on a night to night basis...one night of BASEBALL (every single game televised) won't equal ONE race...and there's THREE races plus Qualifying and Happy Hour Practice all in one weekend...matt...there are more NASCAR Fans then Baseball Fans... period end of discussion...more fans maybe not more stadiums to house them, but more fans.

LT and MMB you guys seem to be stuck up on the Attendence thing, will you be happy if I admit that baseball as a sport has more fans in ALL ITS STADIUMS COMBINED then our ONE Stadium can hold? cause that is true...but its irrelevent, that's not where the money comes from, money comes from TV...and when it comes to that...all your baseball games combined in any given day put up against ONE Nascar race isn't even close, Nascar has 2 time if not more fans watching one race compared to all the fans watching all the baseball games any given day.

and your going to have to use the three biggest nights in baseball and combine them and compare it to .
I just don't get how your going to say Nascar is more popular when in a night when all teams are playing more people are watching MLB around the country than are watching nascar.
Your going to throw fortune 500 companies spending advertizing, but go combine ALL the advertizing EVERY team gets...

LT and MMB you guys seem to be stuck up on the Attendence thing, will you be happy if I admit that baseball as a sport has more fans in ALL ITS STADIUMS COMBINED then our ONE Stadium can hold? cause that is true...but its irrelevent, that's not where the money comes from, money comes from TV...and when it comes to that...all your baseball games combined in any given day put up against ONE Nascar race isn't even close, Nascar has 2 time if not more fans watching one race compared to all the fans watching all the baseball games any given day.
i would accept that argument from you if Nascar was selling out, its not...
u show me stats for that, there is no way thats true and thats my argument..
and lets JUST say what u say is true... there are FOUR times the amount of REGULAR season games (not counting playoffs) and so if its only DOUBLE the amount of viewers for nascar, thats still a win for baseball.
