you have to factor in that he does have the luxury of hitting against weak divisional pitchingaswell. [;)]

Bandy, it doesn't bother me at all that he's on HGH. Unlike steroids, HGH is good for you.

The pitchers are on it too so who cares. As long as its even.
wouldnt bother me one bit either IF he was on it..I don't know first hand, but from what I have been told from people that run in those circles is that the recent (last decade or so) addition ofHuman Growth Hormone is what gives today's bodybuilder's their enormous freakish size. The juice get's you to a point of big and defined, the HGH takes you beyond that point of big to freakish. I don't know what happens if you take the hgh all by itself.

Is this the guy you are speaking of Jose Bautista? From the looks of him, he's not on steroids. Was it confirmed that he was taking hgh? I just don't see it with his physical dev. He's in good shape, but not juice shape. This guy's power has to come from superior leverages and great biomechanics.

And yes he has been tested for steroids, no positive results.
Maybe they don't test for h g h specifically.

so you went to the game saturday? thats so ****ing awesome.
I had goosebumps. I mean I've watched 4 or 5 guys hit 3k in my years watching baseball, and the year I "came back to the sport" Biggio did it...
but....to see your own team, and one of the best players ever on your team, and one of the greatest shortstops ever? It's just that much more special.

As good as I know the money would have been, I would have had to give him the ball also. Can't steal from the Captain.

I heard they gave him box seats for rest of season and a bunch of other stuff....but I agree... not a wise move, that's too much money to sacrifice by being a good guy. I could make $30k/year on that payout for the rest of my days.

It had to be surreal. The circumstances made it all that much more amazing. How about that kid who caught the ball? They say that ball would of sold for $400k and he gave it back. WOWWWWW

As good as I know the money would have been, I would have had to give him the ball also. Can't steal from the Captain.
Plus, as a Yankee fan, you KNOW they are going to hook you up with tons of amazing ****. Plus, I rather be known as the guy who gave Jeter his 3000 hit ball then the guy who sold it.

I would probably ask to meet him, and then give him the sob story about how ****ing poor I am (tru.story bro) and ask if it's reasonable to ask for a bit of money.
Idk....I would hate to be a **** about it, but if approached right, I think it's ok i guess.

I think the estimate of that selling amount is a bit high.
Barry Bonds HR ball sold for 750k I think at auction, but that was a record breaking ball. This is a milestone ball, and the economy is ****, and memorabilia prices are at an all time low. I'd guess 200k MAX. and less from Jeter himself if he got it day of from the kid who caught it.

How would you prove authenticity of that ball in a few years? Does the MLB have a certification process in place for something like that? Would you have to keep copies of the news interviews and videos of you catching it?

But I mean, the person who catches something like that, will be in the news for awhile, so it wont be hard to figure out.

na **** that i would be dead honest

It costs me 100 in beers (if i don't go to Mohegan sun) and 35 to park. Plus I may drop another 15 for something to eat which won't fill me and then the overpriced ticket.

Then i'd point out the Kevin Brown and Carl PAvano contracts and tell them they can give me market value. I'd prolly go under market value but **** that, i'm getting mine

But since starting 2-10, the Sox are 53-25. All you guys were having a great time citing that stats about having that kind of start and making the playoffs, but despite similar injuries as last year, this team is simply too strong.

IT WAS A ****ING BLAST!!!

I woke up early that day, and it was a ****ing downpour. like rainforest type ****. awful.
Woke my roommate up, and we went to get coffee and brainstorm. After much deliberation, we said **** it, who cares. we'd play all the outdoor games in the rain. Basically at that point, we just had to make sure people showed up even tho it was raining.
Let me tell you, the turnout was AWESOME!!
The blonde overslept and missed her ****ing train (big surprise) so I had to get my best friend to go get her, so they were a bit late.
But we had about 35 people play, and about 50 ppl in total come out.

The rain ended up being on and off, so it wasnt even that bad, and actually the soaked grass kind made things more interesting lol. We had a game that was a relay of sorts. So we set up 2 tables on opposite ends of the yard, and you start by 1 teammate running the opposite table, chugging their cup (half cup I think), then you basically gotta do a solo flip cup, and when you got yours, your next teammate ran back to the other table. lol, it went on until your last team member flipped and finished.
The wet grass made it hilarious because people would stop at their table and reach for their beer except they would like slide past the table lol.

The HARDEST game was without question the first one. 1 sand bucket full of beer, only 4 of your teammates participate. we used those really tall dunking donuts straws. you all crowd around the thing, and it was a timed race (as opposed to head to head). so best time wins.
Let me tell you.....everything stacks against you while trying to consume beer that way lol:
first off, the beer is cold as ****, so you start to get a brainfreeze, you run out of air constantly so youre short of breath....the more you drink from the bucket the further you have to pull with the straw, and that results in more foam, so you burp like every 8 seconds or else youd blow up, or puke....
thank god thats not a regular thing, because that was torturous!! lol.....I got up, and i could not stop burping and my head hurt from the brain freeze....and i felt like i just ran a mile i was breathing so heavy lol.

Plus, I rather be known as the guy who gave Jeter his 3000 hit ball then the guy who sold it.

so, youd assume everyone either drunk, or decent buzz going on by the last event. So what do I do? Well I'm going to make your team assemble a 48 piece puzzle!! cuz that **** is hilarious! everyone was yelling screaming and arguing amongst their team, and freaking the **** out because it was a timed event also. lolololol.....
To make things even more difficult, the puzzles were those ones where the picture changes based on the angle you look at. i forget what thats called lol. I felt like my team got robbed in that one, cuz the entire bottom half of our puzzle was just black. it was hard to match pieces. lol

cano better step up. hes been a bit off at the plate this season.

This is where Cano has to show that he is a superstar.

It would be nice that are newly required 3rd baseman was not injured (Chavez)

yea absolutely

The one positive coming out of this is that u need Jeter at top of the lineup now so there snot even a question

i hope he ends up batting .290 to shut up dezz and the rest lol.
whats this have to do with jeter batting at first? i hope he shuts me up too.

because your clean up hitter is out so your obviously going to have to adjust the lineup

Let's hear about the Beer Olympics

IT WAS A ****ING BLAST!!!

I woke up early that day, and it was a ****ing downpour. like rainforest type ****. awful.
Woke my roommate up, and we went to get coffee and brainstorm. After much deliberation, we said **** it, who cares. we'd play all the outdoor games in the rain. Basically at that point, we just had to make sure people showed up even tho it was raining.
Let me tell you, the turnout was AWESOME!!
The blonde overslept and missed her ****ing train (big surprise) so I had to get my best friend to go get her, so they were a bit late.

According to Kay, Lopez will receive four tickets to a suite for every remaining game at Yankee Stadium this season (including any possible playoff games) plus first row Legends Suite tickets to Sunday's game. He also received an assortment of bats and jerseys, plus a meeting with Jeter

LOSING
Jeter looks like he'sreal happy to meet the guy I'm sure they had a lovely convo...I don't know Jeter or what kind of guy he is..but good people don't take advantage of people...I suspect Jeter had little to do with the whole deal....they jumped on thisyoung fellarbefore he got out of the stadium andthe **** dealhappened..the guy never throught about taking advantage of the situation orJeter..stupid yeah probablybutgood people are like that...Jeter got his ball horay for him....oh well everybody seems happyThis is true.

Michael
Pittman may be the most bodybuilding minded of all football players.
In an interview with the Rocky Mountain News, Pittman disclosed some of
his insane feats of size and strength. He has 21.5-inch biceps
(pre-workout) and 23 inches at full flex. He was a skinny, 184-pound
freshman at Fresno State to leaving college at 220 pounds and able to
bench-press more than 400 pounds. The running back routinely does a 485
pound bench-press, a 505-pound shoulder-shrug and leg-presses 1,500
pounds during his off-season routine. He also does 90-pound dumbbell
curls with each arm! Pittman has admitted that around six or seven
workout partners “fell by the wayside” over the years due to his high
intensity level in the gym. Pittman’s eating routine is very plain,
especially during off-season training. He shies away from condiments
like ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise. The only thing he puts on his
chicken is salt and pepper and the only meat on his pasta is turkey. He
has a lot of calories in the morning and gradually lowers it during the
day. Pittman will only have “cheat meals” (pizza or fried chicken) once
in a while to give him added fuel during a gruesome NFL season. In terms
of supplements, Pittman relies on three products from the BSN
nutritional-supplement company: Cellmass, N.O.-Xplode and Nitrix.

LONDON (Reuters) - Scientists have found a "superbug" strain of gonorrhea in Japan that is resistant to all recommended antibiotics and say it could transform a once easily treatable infection into a global public health threat.

just reading that, then why would we call it gonorrhea? lol

My daughter was taking a train from Paris to London last Thursday. She was working in Paris and had a Social Distortion Concert at 9:00 in London. (Little twirp had front row balcony in a small theatre in London).

So she's waiting for everyone to get aboard and she had a vacant seat next to her, so she's happy. Then some dope walks down the aisle and sits right next to her. He then proceedes to put on these huge headphones and blasts some crappy music that everyone in the car can hear. She's thinking to herself "who is this dope" (she's so much like me...I'm so proud) Halfway through the trip she looks over and its Freakin' Kanya West.

I asked her if she talked to him and she said "not really" but she was the official photagrapher for all the morons who wanted their pictures taken with Kanya.

I guess he was actually mixing some music on his computer. Anyway, the Social D concert was the hilight of the day, not meeting Kanya West.

I then proceeded to have the exact same argument with her on Skype that I had with all of you that Social D is NOT a punk band. She said they were. I had to set her straight. Just like I set you guys straight.

since the HR derby at yankee stadium we've had the 3 out of the past 4 derbys have ranked in the top 4 all time of collective hrs, most home runs in a single round, and most home runs in the final round

everybody talks out of their ***... but hes just tity hurt cuz howard wasn't in it.

since the HR derby at yankee stadium we've had the 3 out of the past 4 derbys have ranked in the top 4 all time of collective hrs, most home runs in a single round, and most home runs in the final round

I was so happy for you that day. I bet you were just screaming and it was incredible. I was going to call you that night but you never answer your phone lol. I figured it was one of the best days of your life. Only so many people can say they were there. I hope you saved your ticket.

and im leaving Dirk up because i know it haunts you

Honestly I could care less. I have always liked Dirk. If anything I like him 100 times more now. Without him Lebron would have a ring. Dirk is in my top 10 now baby!!!

I remember the derby with McGuire and Sosa-it was epic. I realize that Cano set a 3 round record with the 12 hr's. He only had 6 outs when he hit the 12th. Who knows how many more he could of had, but they stopped as soon as he beat the 11 runs. I guess they did not want him to run up the record? Idk.

As some of you know, I am a chronic unfreinder on FB. Its nothing personal.

Only in your little fantasy world. Social D lacks the speed and attitude of real punk. They are a hard rock band.

You guys and your genres.

you must really hate Social Distortion. I mean, to tell a band that they arent what they SAY they are?
the nerve....

Pizz...we all think we're things we aren't.

You think you're attractive to women. I think I'm young.

I know they were inspired by the punk movement in the late 70's. But punk is angry, anti-social music. Social Distortion is a great band. I think their version of "Ring of Fire" is one of the truly great rock and roll songs ever. But they are what they are.

"Machine Gun Blues" aint punk.

The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones..etc.... Thats punk.
lol. True, but we really think it.

Cano turns his hips so fast. It almost looks like his legs and torso are going to come apart. It was very cool his dad pitched for him. He seems like a really cool dude. I might argue that its more impressive how hard he throws the ball from 2nd without moving a muscle than how far he can hit it.

listen i love animals. Infact, i'm quite a ***** when it comes to animals

unless they are complete vegetarians living a life full of pro-animals, then they aren't being real. If they enjoy going to the race track, eating a hamburger, having a sausage, bacon, egg (SPK too Of course - delish) with thier morning coffee then really how can they really take that stance.

ITs people who can't accept the nature of it all i can't call realists.

its sick how easy he makes it look sometimes...

like hard *** play it just looks effortless by him. Almost to the point where he doesn't even get credit for it because he makes these plays look so easy

Extremely impressive. That explosive pivot like whip of his hips is such an efficient transfer of power from his lower body into his torso. His form was so perfect and solid. I could not believe how solid he holds his stance after his hits as he watches the ball fly.
