Man, Ct is in shambles from Irene. I did not loose power for a second in NY at my home. I work in Ct. I was checking out the Ct Light and Power and united illuminating outage maps last night....I knew it was going to be bad. Sometimes management sucks, like today--I called my staff and told them to remain home because of no power. The GM and I rigged up the generator and I am functional now-less email and voicemail. I have outgoing/incoming phone, server acess, all my software. Now to do all the work that I do not regularly do. argggh....and to think I could of been at another Monday nite game tonite. ****!
</p>

I lost power over saturday night for a few hours, but I was asleep so...
and then we randomly lost cable/internet at like 7pm last night, till early this morning....that was odd considering all the weather was fine after 1pm &gt;.&lt;
our only problem locally was we had alot of rainy weather prior so the ground was saturated. flooding happened quit easily along the wappingers creek. we took the jeep out to see where was worse yesterday. One small bridge had "white water rapids" going over the guard rails! it was intense!! needless to say, that part of the road was closed lol</p>How's power now? fully functional at the cu? At work, we are still out, with limited generator power. Ct is a mess. There is this creek that I'm going to check out at lunch, it is usually rocking at times like this, I'm sure it will not dissapoint today..

Although I hate AJ Burnett, and think he's awful...</P>

he DID win us a WS game...

and at the time, the signing made sense because we needed a pitcher, and his record against boston at the time was great.
However, as you can see, that did not pay off....I GET the signing, I just think it was too much for too long.</P>

<u>He'll still have 2 years and $30+MM left on his contract.</u></p>

<u>Where is he going?</u></p>

And this is Crawford's first season. We don't know yet what the outcome will be. But we all know what will probably happen.</p>

Once he gets his first ring this year, he'll relax and go back to being a solid player. He's not a head case like Burnett.</p>honestly i think the yanks are going to eat it.

our starting o line looked pretty damn good last night. lol bass jumping on bj to stop a little scuffle. i would pay to have bj miced up. hes hitting holes very nicely so far, and making his own. AND juking dbs,
nicks did well against revis.
eli needs to get on the same page with these receivers
d line looked good, secondary meeehhh, sanchez didnt look to hot until the td.
ware is garbage.
give jj another shot returning, the muffs were bad but im telling you he can fly once he gets inthe open. id really like to see him in the slot for a quarter. i missed the 4th so maybe he did.

I dont see what was so bad about Ware....he did fine on only a handful or so of carries. and he caught a few out ofthe backfield also. I'm not sure what youre looking for from a 3rd string RB exactly....
JJ was terrible....all ST is terrible. How special teams can be the absolute weakness of this team for 5 traight seasons with no improvement is beyond me...but, it would seem we are just expected to deal with it or something...

Throw it away...ehhh maybe sometimes he does that.

Take a sack...rarely he does that

Manning has been downright awful this summer, and we're beginning to
wonder if he may not be 100 percent. Tom Brady's self-proclaimed equal
has completed 27-of-55 preseason passes (49.1%) for 314 yards (5.71
YPA), no touchdowns, and the two picks. Assuming Manning doesn't play

That Manningham one was because REvis manned him up

still threw for 200 yards, he made a bad pick against a top defense. I'll live with it

But our offensive guard missing a blitzing linebacker COMPLETELY and then the WR not making the right read - thats something that is unacceptable

</P>

Oh...Lets add to the list.</P>

1. Its the WR's fault</P>

2. Its KG's fault</P>

3. Its TC's fault</P>

4. Its David Deihl's fault.</P>

Anyone (or anything) else?</P>

Eli had a pass rush in his face an threw too early. Cruz ran across the field in perfect position and Eli threw it over his head. He was out of position to throw the ball and needed to eat it and take the sack. I've been saying it all off season. This is what he does, he panics in the pocket and chucks it into coverage. It was "vintage Eli".</P>

Or as Matt sees it..."perfectly wonderful QB'ing".</P>

there ya go - nonsense post

now i know u know ur wrong

thanks for the confirmation

Im sure you have a better grasp of our offense and where our WR was suppose to be rather than Coughlin. He also did the same type of throw on a completion to Cruz and he was in the right spot - amazing it was a completion

You didn't even know we basically ran a run n shoot offense, now you know where the WRs are suppose to be? Its cute when you try

I agree - but its a very simple break down:

When a LB has a running start at you untouched, you don't have much time to make a play

then you go to

if the WR ran the right route (like Coughlin said he didnt), the ball would of more than likely been completed

How do u deny that? Do u really think u know more than Coughlin? The guy that says we don't run any form of the run n shoot?

I didn't see the press conference. If, as you say the WR made the wrong play, how does that excuse Eli's throwing it where he did ? There is no way the kid could have gotten to where Eli threw it.</p>

Coughlin said both the TE (beckum) and the WR (cruz) didn't run the right routes...

personally after watching the play i don't think Cruz was suppose to be crossing and Beckum was suppose to run a dig. Go watch Beckum on that play, hes runnin around like a chicken with no head

and i love hypocracy of not giving Diehl any blame for not touching the LBer that disrupted the play by not being touched and getting a B Line right at Eli...

Don't we load up on defensive ends SPECIFICALLY for that type of production? But when we get pressured, its on the QB no matter what? lol

your a fool old man
</p>

A bad play by an O lineman should turn into a throw away, or a sack. Only the QB can turn it into a pick.</p>

Guess what veteran QB's do in that case........<u>Take the friggin sack.</u></p>

Eli panics and chucks it into coverage.</p>

It's two-fold this season--Eli lost Boss AND Smith. Smith was always there for last minute dumps from Eli.

Like I said. Eli literally never steps into a throw to take the hit. Even on the deep ball to manningham, it was questionable if he was going to get hit(he didnt get hit) and he still wouldnt step into the throw. I'm convinced that Eli maybe steps into the throw when a hit is imminent 1% of the time.</P>

lawl
08-30-2011, 03:10 PM
As for Bradshaw, he isn't a very fluid catcher of the ball, which leads to him not being overly relevant in the passing game; that and Eli has had troubles in recent years getting the ball to backs in a catchable position, its usually at their feet.

uhm - are u really asking that?

I really don't know where to even start. I thought you just understood how it all works more.

ever hear of throwing to where the receiever WILL be, or in this case where they are SUPPOSE to be?

Coughlin said they both were running wrong routes. I have a feeling Cruz was suppose to sail while Beckum dug.

That would of kept the under linebacker not running in the passing lane and freezing the guy who got the pick to possibly play a step off. Boom Beckum runs the right route

so many variations it could of been

That would of kept the under linebacker not running in the passing lane and freezing the guy who got the pick to possibly play a step off. Boom Beckum runs the right route

You guys had to win this game. <u>It would have been a disaster</u> for the Yankees if they didn't. It was CC against Lackey. <u>Now the series starts.</u> You have to beat Beckett and Lester with the back of your rotation.</p>

Lets all watch and see what happens together.</p>

The only thing notable about last nights game was the Sox inability to get a big hit when they needed it. I'll leave the Cervelli nonsense to the children.</p>

ohh thats right i forgot how mature you are!

a disaster? why because the yanks would only make the wild card if we come in second?? give me a break. you keep thinking winning the division is the be all end all.

you hear that everyone, we didnt win last night, that game meant nothing, the real games start tonight. i couldnt give a **** if the sox beat the yanks every single regular season game this year.

How was it going to be a completion if the guy ran the wrong route? Eli chucked it into coverage. Horrible decision. His job is to eat the ball or throw it away when they play isn't there.</p>

uhm - are u really asking that?

I really don't know where to even start. I thought you just understood how it all works more.

Coughlin said they both were running wrong routes. I have a feeling Cruz was suppose to sail while Beckum dug.

That would of kept the under linebacker not running in the passing lane and freezing the guy who got the pick to possibly play a step off. Boom Beckum runs the right route

Jarrod whatever his last name didn't like the clap Cervelli did at homeplate. </p>

What a soar loser, is this what baseball has turned too. Can't have any sort of emotions? </p>

is it right? mehh, but if another team did it to us i wouldnt even notice.
</p>

Why do you focus on such foolish things.</p>

You guys had to win this game. <u>It would have been a disaster</u> for the Yankees if they didn't. It was CC against Lackey. <u>Now the series starts.</u> You have to beat Beckett and Lester with the back of your rotation.</p>

Lets all watch and see what happens together.</p>

The only thing notable about last nights game was the Sox inability to get a big hit when they needed it. I'll leave the Cervelli nonsense to the children.</p>

ohh thats right i forgot how mature you are!

a disaster? why because the yanks would only make the wild card if we come in second?? give me a break. you keep thinking winning the division is the be all end all.

you hear that everyone, we didnt win last night, that game meant nothing, the real games start tonight. i couldnt give a **** if the sox beat the yanks every single regular season game this year.
plaaaayyyyooffs, well see ya there.

hmmm 09, " feels like deja vu all over again"
</p>

3-10 vs.the Sox will do that to a guy.</p>

and u guys are only up a half game - kinda pathetic

just a loser mentality for a loser city. When u play us its your world series and u feel content. The world series is actually our world series
</p>

I was reminded in mid April by Dez that no team in baseball history has started 0-6 and made the playoffs. No team that started 2-10 has made the playoffs.</p>

This is a glorious season for the Sox. Destiny is on our side. You can make all the rationalizations you want. You can convince yourself of anything as well. But the Sox are truly a team of destiny.</p>

im not rationalizing anything

u have a 7 game lead on us in our series on the season and are only up a .5 game and are due for some losses vs us (as history would show)

its kinda pathetic

</p>

Well here's the way I look at it. We are in first place and we have owned the Yankees this year.</p>

Thats all good.</p>

You say tomato..........</p>

its all about the finish and ur mid series with us..

we win the next 2 then u haven't "owned" as us much as u'd like to think and u still can't get first place.

I love the fact that we are going to take the division

MMB guarantee - put it in ur sig
</p>

You think Hughes is beating Beckett and The Head Case is beating Lester?</p>

I like your confidence. Misguided but impressive.</p>kinda shows how serious the yanks take the sox. not very much......

</p>

What you're looking at is the extraordinary bed of New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (http://bostonherald.com/track/inside_track/view.bg?articleid=1361447&amp;position=0).
I had never before stopped to think about what Chad's bed might look
like, but if I had, I probably would've guessed something exactly like
this.</p>

The aquarium that arches over the headboard was made by Wayde King
and Brett Raymer, who operate Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM), the
largest aquarium maker in the country. They make aquariums for casinos,
business and celebrities, including Steven Spielberg and Dr. Dre, and
now they have their own show on Animal Planet (http://animal.discovery.com/tv/tanked/) (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT).</p>

Oh, and they also made a shark tank for his living room, upon which three HDTVs hang.</p>
<center>http://l.yimg.com/a/p/sp/editorial_image/6d/6d72bdcc2c86f2a8a6addc74ec6c8d8a/chad_ochocinco_sleeps_underneath_a_whole_bunch_of_ fish.jpg</center>

</p>

I've got to hand it to Chad. If you're going to do something
absurdly extravagant in your home, I like the route he's taken. I love
the idea that you have this gorgeous, custom-built shark tank in your
living room, but that's not enough to look at -- it needs three big TVs
on it, too. I guess there's something for everyone sitting on his
700-ft. couch.</p>

The aquariums aren't without their inconveniences, though. About the fish tank arching over his bed, Chad once tweeted (http://twitpic.com/409ria)
that his fiancé Evelyn Lozada "stares at these damn fish every time
before bed." What a tremendous inconvenience! Sometimes, the scalding
hot lady in bed next to him likes to look at the fish tank literally built around the bed in which she slumbers. I'll pray for Chad.</p>

<span class="ysp-player">Jeremy Shockey (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5900/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5900/news)</span> might not be the premiere tight end he used to be, but if you're walking around the Carolina Panthers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/car/) locker room with a chunk of pork tenderloin lodged in your gullet, he's still your MVP.

Fellow Panthers tight end <span class="ysp-player">Ben Hartsock (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6827/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6827/news)</span>
knows that now. Brad Biggs on NFPost.com reported that Hartsock found
himself unable to breathe in the team locker room Monday sometime after
lunch. Fortunately, Shockey stepped in, the pork popped out (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=nfp-20110829_jeremy_shockey_saved_a_teammates_life_in_ lunch_room), and everyone lived happily ever after.</p>

[Related: Nationals Park beer vendor saves choking child (http://yhoo.it/nc3utW)]</p>

Here's how it went down, according to Hartsock's agent Mike McCartney.</p>
<blockquote>

"He said to me a little while ago, 'I really hope this doesn't get out but if it does it's going to be a funny story.' [...]</p>

"He started to go to the bathroom and I don't know if he collapsed,
but he couldn't breathe," McCartney said. "Some new guy came and tried
to give him the Heimlich. It didn't work. Then, Shockey hit him in the
back pretty hard and out came the meat. The Panthers told me it was
really scary.</p>

"Ben told me Shockey came over and gave me the Heimlich Maneuver and
saved my life. He was in good spirits and he's real thankful for
Shockey."</p></blockquote>

And then the Panthers spent the rest of practice showing tremendous compassion by yelling things like, "Don't choke, Hartsock!"</p>

Bless your heart, Jeremy Shockey. I hope Hartsock doesn't end up taking your job now.</p>

Coughlin said they both were running wrong routes. I have a feeling Cruz was suppose to sail while Beckum dug.

That would of kept the under linebacker not running in the passing lane and freezing the guy who got the pick to possibly play a step off. Boom Beckum runs the right route

</P>

You really think Oswald acted alone in the Kennedy assasination? </P>

Oswald may have been the shooter, but there were others way up who were apart of this assasination. </P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

There was no conspiracy. Oswald was a nut job who wanted to kill the President. He was hired at the Book Depository several weeks before there were ever any plans to visit Dallas. He got the job because the landlord of his apartment worked there.</P>

There was no "magic bullet" The only possible explaination for the injuries of both Kennedy and Connally was one bullet. It was impossible for the bullett to not be totally destroyed and do the bone damage to Connally unless it was slowed by passing through another object. that was unfortunately the upper back of the president.</P>

</P>

Well if thats the case why did Ruby kill him? </P>

Why does Oswald after supposedly killing the president he goes to see a movie?</P>

They have also said Oswald was not a great shot. And from where he was in the book depository he had to shoot JFK 200 yards in a moving vehicle. </P>

If you look at the Zapruder film you can see he is hit twice. One in the neck, and the second one was the head shot. </P>

Do you also beleive that Oswald killed that cop before the assasination? </P>

Too many questions that are not awnsered. I would love to read the files, but they will never release them to the public. </P>

And the main question I have, where did JFK brains go? </P>

</P>

</P>

1.Ruby loved JFK. It was well known. His club was closed due to the assasination and he went to the Western Union office to wire money to one of his dancers. there is a time stamped record of the transaction. The WU office was down the street from the ploice station. He saw the commotion and it was easy for him to get access since all the cops knew him.</P>

2. Oswald didn't go to see a movie. There was an APB out on him because there was an eye witness who saw him shoot a police officer. He was pursued into the theatre where he was aprehended.</P>

3. Oswald was trained by the marines as a marksman. the shot was not difficult at all. this is one of the greatest myths of the case.</P>

4. Correct. there were 3 shots. the first deflected off the tree and skinned a man in the cheek by the bridge underpass. the second hit Kennedy in the neck and upper back and then passed into Connally, breaking a rib, deflecting off his wrist bone and ending up in his clothing. The Zapruder film shows his lapel flapping outward at the exact time it had to exit his torseau. The third was the horrible head shot.</P>

5. Yes he did. there was an eye witness. it was for that crime that he was being pursued by the cops. Ballistics matched it to his hand gun.</P>

6. There are actually very few questions. where do I start. there has been an entire cottage industry created by assasination conspirarists.</P>

What you also don't know about were the eyewittness acounts of the rifle sticking out of the 6th story window. the crowd of people pointing to it at the moment of the shooting. So many other solid pieces of evidence would have to be completely ignored to believe a conspiracy.</P>

This assumes good behavior on Benson's part, of course, which I guess

only moorehead can ignore the coach saying whose fault the interception was but still try and think hes right

its sad at this point
</P>

You must have missed TC'c comments right after when he said he would rather Eli throw it away or take the sack on that play.</P>

In other words, he said just listen to what Moorehead has been saying for months.</P>

obviously cuz it was intercepted.. who wouldn't rather have that than an intercpetion

since we're playing the obvious game, someone then followed up with would u rather have a completion for a gain, incompletion, or sack
</P>

maybe you can explain Eli's explaination of the first pick. he said it was 4th down so he didn't want to take a sack or throw it away.......makes sense.</P>

It was 2nd and 10.</P>

http://www.giants.com/media-vault/videos/Jets-vs-Giants-highlights/b9f4c0d7-e73c-4ebb-a7df-4d77d10f5faa#?id=88a60c97-c596-484d-ae8f-01c9e8405357</P>

im no therapist pappy

all i know is that two receivers ran the wrong route on the interception
</P>

And he threw it up for grabs anyway. You don't see a problem with that?</P>

So let me get this straight - had this been a completion, u'd still have an issue with it?
</P>

How was it going to be a completion if the guy ran the wrong route? Eli chucked it into coverage. Horrible decision. His job is to eat the ball or throw it away when they play isn't there.</P>

uhm - are u really asking that?

I really don't know where to even start. I thought you just understood how it all works more.

ever hear of throwing to where the receiever WILL be, or in this case where they are SUPPOSE to be?

Coughlin said they both were running wrong routes. I have a feeling Cruz was suppose to sail while Beckum dug.

That would of kept the under linebacker not running in the passing lane and freezing the guy who got the pick to possibly play a step off. Boom Beckum runs the right route

so many variations it could of been
</P>

From an Associates Press article by Tom Canavan.....</P>

</P>
<P id=yui_3_3_0_4_131478815308318>..........Manning took some of the blame for the failure of the receiver to adjust, saying he probably should have thrown the ball into the ground when he noticed his receiver out of position...............</P>

So he saw the receiver out of position and threw it anyway. This is the kind of thing that drives me nuts about Eli.</P>

</P>

If anyone is interested, this is the definitive book on the Kennedy assassination. Morehead highly recommends it.....Really.</P>

how bout u just save us the 20 bucks and just tell us who they think did it
</P>

If you want Matt I will send you my copy. Its a great read.</P>

Obviously Oswald acted alone and Posner absolutely proves it.</P>

</P>

You really think Oswald acted alone in the Kennedy assasination? </P>

Oswald may have been the shooter, but there were others way up who were apart of this assasination. </P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

</P>

You still didn't awnser what happened to his brain at the hospital. </P>

There are no records of what happened to it. </P>

<U>That would have been a huge piece to what gun was the kill shot. </U></P>

</P>

and again when you watch that head shot, he jerks backwards towards oswald and kinda slides over towards jackie.
</P>

Of course....You are wrong.</P>

Please look at frame 312 and 313. You can clearly see the first move of the head as forward. Also all the brain matter (sorry people) exiting the head at the front.</P>

You can actually see the matter moving forward and exiting the front. that shot came from the rear.</P>

This slo mo film clearly shows it.</p>

And maybe you can explain the physics of all the discharge moving forward and exiting the front, from a shot from the rear.</p>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yELvWYkkFxs&amp;playnext=1&amp;list=PLD5740492FFFE 36FF</p> i agree, it looks like all the matter is moving forward, <u>BUT</u> why is he being forced back?? oswald was using a high powered rifle, his face should be slamming into the seat in front of him. it could be the camera playing tricks on the eye, but i know thats not an answer mh wants to hear
That video is not great quality. Maybe just my pc. I see projectile fluid launching forward out of the front of his head if that is what I'm seeing. That would suggest kill shot entered from rear.

one of our main central air units is completley ****ing frozen, and it's getting hot as balls in here.

we have 5 central air units out back, the 2 huge ones cool the main floor, the others just do smaller sections, and when 1 of the big ones isnt on.....its bad. lol

Yes it does.</P>

I know that Dez is an expert on murder, but maybe not so much on physiology.</P>

One can imagine what a sudden trauma like that would do to every nerve and muscle in the body. That explains the move forward and then the whip backwards.</P>

Washington (CNN) -- A nonpartisan panel reporting to Congress
says the United States is wasting $12 million a day among contracts
issued in support of American efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.</p>

The
Commission on Wartime Contracting spent the past three years
documenting whether American funding went where it was supposed to. The
findings show misdirected money has totaled between $31 billion and $60
billion, and that both the government and the contractors are to blame
for fraud and waste.</p>

Commissioner Katherine Schinasi told
reporters at a news conference Wednesday that the numbers don't seem to
have an impact on people concerned about spending.</p>

To make it easier to grasp the magnitude of the problem, Schinasi said, "we've broken it down to $12 million a day."</p>

"We are wasting $12 million a day," she said, "maybe that will make a difference."</p>

The study looked at contracts from 2001 through the projected end of fiscal year 2011.</p>
