Yeah, Sharieff needed him. I'm glad he got him. I can't believe Matt or Amanda didn't pick up Karim for MJD's handcuff. Kind of stupid but whatever.

Yeah, what are you gonna do. When Brady throws for 517 yards it kind of puts a kink in things. I do believe I will make the playoffs this year. I see a chance to make a run after my bad luck week 1. Plus I get to play you when Rice is on his bye.

I dont even have MJD why would i pick him up?

I meant picked him up for her. It would have been the nice thing to do...You guys seem pretty busy though.

Yes...Matt is very busy organizing the "Its Never Eli's Fault" Club.

Its great that u've destroyed your "realist" and "optimist" titles you THINK you had.

Everybody sees your a troll now so my job is done.

When Daven chimes in and thinks ur playing the "Daven Game" with what u've been saying about Eli - then its all on the table.

Your officially an Eli troll. This should be your new avatar:

so in my big money league i made some moves:

I Cut Chester Taylor and signed Rex Grossman

Then I traded Roy Williams & Willis McGahee 4 Malcom Floyd & Colt McCoy

now im in the process of trading Flacco, Gore, Malcon Floyd, Ocho 4 MJD, Mike Sims Walker, and Colston

Then i'll pick up Doug Baldwin with my open roster spot

my squad will then be:

keepers = k

QB: Matt Ryan, Rex Grossman, Cam Newton(k), Colt McCoy(k)
RB: Ray Rice, MJD, Benson, Spiller(k)
WR: Gennings, Boldin, Colston, Mike Sims Walker, Early Doucet, Baldwin
TE: TGonz(k), Greg Olson
K: Mare
DE: Jets

OOOOO YEAAA

I gotta agree, I like their classic look much better than ours.

I really like nothing about our uniforms. I mean DO like the shade of blue we use, if that counts. lol

Only thing I like about our uniforms are the helmets.

Our road jersies are a disgrace.
The only thing I like about the road jersey's is that we won sb 42 wearing them. All of my jersey's are blue --except for a road sb 42 Eli.

In an interview with the Akron Beacon Journal
leading up to Sunday's Colts-Browns game, Mike Chappell of the
Indianapolis Star conceded that Peyton Manning (neck surgeries) is
"likely" out for the season.

"He might return at some point, perhaps mid- to

Manning's return when the losses start piling up.

ehhh he missed 5 games and was in Seattle. I think hes a perfect fit for what we need. I wanted him or Housh. If we can get 50-60 receptions out of him he'll be well worth it. He'll definitly get his opportunities here. Washington wanted him and he declined once they signed the dude from Denver, can't think of his name

I bet he has a better year than Smith lol

Former Ravens cornerback Chris McAlister made tens of millions of
dollars in his NFL career, but he now says that he’s so broke he can’t
afford to take care of himself or his child.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, McAlister wrote, “I have been unemployed since 2009. I have no income (http://www.tmz.com/2011/09/14/chris-mcalister-baltimore-ravens-broke-no-money-cash-nfl-child-support-super-bowl-ex-wive-baby-mama-marlene-parents-house-home-football/). . . . I live in my parent’s home. My parents provide me with my basic living expenses as I do not have the funds to do so.”

McAlister is asking the court to lower his $11,000 a month child support obligation to his ex-wife.

In 1999, McAlister was selected by the Ravens with the 10th overall
pick in the draft. After playing out his rookie contract, McAlister
signed a seven-year, $55 million extension in 2004. McAlister played
five years on that contract before being released, then played briefly
with the Saints before retiring.

i really want to know why were not looking at will allen, or any corner for that matter.

Will Allen signed with the Dolphin

but beyond that he didn'rt even play in the league last year. Will Allen SUCKS. As bad as our secondary is i'd rather go wtiuh what we got than sign Will Allen. Hes 33-34 now, hes no long a speed guy
youre over reacting. he was a very solid corner in his prime.
neither was madison or mcquarters but they were solid vets which i think allen is.

his prime was 4-5 years ago

HE had a knee injury that ook him out of football for a year n half. He just got a job with his last team because they gave up 500 yards to Brady in the air. He sucked at the eend of his run in Miami BEFORE he got hurt. Your a fool if u think he has the same speed he had.

Former Ravens cornerback Chris McAlister made tens of millions of dollars in his NFL career, but he now says that he’s so broke he can’t afford to take care of himself or his child.

In 1999, McAlister was selected by the Ravens with the 10th overall pick in the draft. After playing out his rookie contract, McAlister signed a seven-year, $55 million extension in 2004. McAlister played five years on that contract before being released, then played briefly with the Saints before retiring.

I gave him a job in (old)Madden last week =P lmao
You really have to be an idiot to waste that much money. I cannot comprehend the level of stupidity that would render you broke after making that kind of money.

Daven--I have an enormous need to understand McAlister's logic or thought process while he was earning his nfl salary?

For all you Morehead haters, (and the numbers seem to be growing) the fact that the defense was tipped off that the play was coming, I can't blame Eli.

In general however (having nothing to do with Eli) I believe a QB always has the responsibility not to throw a ball into the waiting hands of a defender if he reads the defense properly. Its a matter of the game slowing down for a veteran player. That aside, the kid knew exactly what was coming which makes it completely KG's fault for not changing the language presnap.

wasn't the waiting hands... the DE is ALWAYS right there you just have to have the faith that ur lineman is going to make the block, like u have to have the faith that your WR is going to be in the right spot in his route to receive the ball.

And either way, waiting hands? You act like the ball was thrown to him and he caught it, he was able to get his mitt on it and got a lucky tip ball that he was able to catch.

And the moorehead haters aren't growing, your just getting more ridiculous

Ranking the alltime Yankees is always going to have critics.

After Ruth and Gehrig the list gets difficult.

That is a valid arguement with Mo and Mantle. Rivera is the best closer ever to play in baseball history. And I would even put him on the list as best pitchers all time.

Mantle is arguably the best natural player to ever play baseball, there wasen't anything he coulden't do on the field. If it wasen't for a knee injury we can only speculate how much better he would have been.
and a drunk. [:)] todays ball parks would be like little league parks for mantle if he played today.
and youre right it is extremely tough, but when guys make a list like this and have friggin don mattingly above mantle, well it makes me want to slap someone, and mattingly was my idol.

MIKE VACCARO

1. Babe Ruth — Without him, nothing that came after would have mattered near as much. Or may have happened at all.

2. Joe DiMaggio — Inherited a famous team and made it iconic, followed iconic players and became mythic in his own right.

3. Mariano Rivera — You could argue, with cause, that without him the Yankees still are searching for their first championship since 1978.

4. Don Mattingly (http://www.nypost.com/t/Don_Mattingly)— He isn’t neighbors with many of his pinstriped brethren in Cooperstown, but at a dark moment in team history he made certain the Yankees still carried themselves as Yankees.

5. Mickey Mantle — At his very best, there may never have been another player born who was more talented, and at his worst he still played every game as if it might be his last.

I don't agree with Mattingly being on the top 5, maybe not even the top 10 all time Yankees.

No question he was a great player, but back issues derailed what could have been a 1st ballot hall of fame career.

not even top 10.
Every Yankee fan loves Mattingly, but the guy won't even be a hall of famer....and we have MULTIPLE future hall of famers on our team right now as we speak.

That list is preeeeetty awful, i dont even need to see the rest lol

Mattingly's claim to yankee pride is that he was one of the best in the game during an era where the Yankees were absolutely terrible. That's why he was such a HUGE fan favorite.

Precisely, consider me a cave man, but I'm really not going to be into discussing nuclear physics with a girl dressed like that. I perceive her as selling one thing, just depends if I'm interested in buying it. Perception is a subjective thing.

NFL Turning Point (VERSUS, 10:00 p.m. ET), a joint venture of NFL Films and NBC Sports, clips from Sunday night’s Cowboys-Jets game will be

shown, including portions with New York cornerback Darrelle Revis (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4155/darrelle-revis) wearing a microphone.

Revis battled Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5558/dez-bryant)
all night, with Bryant winning some battles — but Revis ultimately
winning the war with a late interception that set the stage for the
game-winning field goal.

“Pretty cool,” Revis said Wednesday, per the Associated Press. “I’ll tell you, though, there was some crazy stuff on that mic, man. It’s the heat of the battle. He said words to me, and I’m saying words back to Dez (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/44526262/).”

So what was said?

“It’s X-rated,” Revis said. “There was a lot of stuff going on, a lot of back and forth.”

(Maybe R-rated would be a better description. Not that there’s
anything wrong with an X-rated discussion between two consenting adults
of the same gender.)

“That’s real life,” Revis said. “Whatever was said on there, that’s
what it was. It’s in the heat of the moment, the heat of battle.
That’s what it was.”

The “what it was” that didn’t land on the cutting room floor will be
included in the show. Tune in at 10:00 p.m. ET to find out “what it
was” that made it.

It’s not just Giants fans that still seem obsessed and salty about
losing receiver Steve Smith. Even New York’s coaching staff is still
talking about Smith in the wake of the team’s recent Brandon Stokley
signing.

“We had wanted all along Steve Smith (http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/giants/t-rock-s-take-on-the-giants-1.811990/gilbride-wanted-smith-gets-stokley-1.3174111) back and that was the objective, that was the hope and the expectation,” Giants’ offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said via Newsday. “But when that didn’t happen, then we have two young guys that we think can do it [Victor Cruz (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6313/victor-cruz) and Jernal Jernigan].

“How fast will they be able to evolve into the experienced receiver
that you need at that spot where everything is happening so quickly
inside? The powers above me made that decision and we needed to add this
additional receiver.”

Gilbride went on to say nice things about Stokley (again mentioning Smith) but it didn’t seem like Gilbride embraced the move.

Call us crazy, but Gilbride may be calling out the team’s front office for letting Smith get away. Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger tells us Gilbride brought up Smith’s unprompted in back-to-back weeks.

If nothing else, Gilbride seems to be distancing himself from the Stokley signing.

Silverstein points out that Nelson actually
leads the Packers in receptions since the beginning of last year's
playoffs. With so many weapons to choose from, Aaron Rodgers allows the
coverage to dictate his passing. It's great for Nelson, who has been
consistently open on both deep and mid-range routes against single
coverage. This is further confirmation that Nelson is a legit breakout
candidate this season as a reliable WR3.

Moss finally has spoken on the issue. He golfed in the Boston area
on Thursday, and Ian Meropol of WEEI and WAAF morning show co-host
Lyndon Byers caught up with Moss in the parking lot, asking Moss if
they’ll see him in Gillette Stadium again this year.

“No,” Moss said. “I’m done (http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports/newengland/football/patriots/2011/09/16/randy-moss-on-return-to-gillette-no/).”

So why was he in Boston?

“I’m just here golfing, minding my business,” Moss said.

Eli Manning (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/NFL/1657/Eli-Manning) has looked befuddled since former Giants slot receiver Steve Smith (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/NFL/4227/Steve-Smith)
went out for the season late last year. Since Week 16 of 2010, Manning
is 52-of-94 (55.3%) with a 3:6 TD-to-INT ratio. Include the 2011
preseason, and Eli's numbers plummet even further to 79-of-149 (53.0%)
with three touchdowns and eight picks.

the ref ****ed up and MAyweather is a piece of **** to sum it up

This kid ortiz had mayweather against the rope and was swinging and head butted him. Ref stopped the fight to deduct a point.

The kid ORtiz want up and hug and kissed or MAyweather apologizing. It was def intentional but he seemed very remorseful, like the moment just built up.

So the ref goes to have them touch gloves and stops midway before he officially breaks them and turns his head and starts walking towards the scorers table. So the kid ortiz goes up and hug Mayweather again. Again it seemed like a very honest moment of remorse for the cheap shot, which BARELY touched mayweather anyway. He headbutted him in the lip and didn't evne split it open.

So he hugs him and steps back waits for the ref, mayweather sucker punches him with a left jab. The kid starts backing up like WTF and is looking at the ref, Mayweather comes in with the KO right and knocks him out. The ref just counts him out...

He lost last week and will probably lose this week. If he loses this week it will be directly because of that trade.

You got the 3 best players in that trade and you and I both know that Cutler is strictly a back up FF QB.

That trade has taken some of the fun away from this league because he wasn'y trying to improve his team but perge his rival players. Players he drafted.

The only hope for the rest of the league is to count on your poor FF management. (which has been a powerful factor the first 2 years of this league)

So he hugs him and steps back waits for the ref, mayweather sucker punches him with a left jab. The kid starts backing up like WTF and is looking at the ref, Mayweather comes in with the KO right and knocks him out. The ref just counts him out...

It was the WWF

Sounds like your trade with Daven

week 1 he made out

week2 i did

He lost last week and will probably lose this week. If he loses this week it will be directly because of that trade.

You got the 3 best players in that trade and you and I both know that Cutler is strictly a back up FF QB.

That trade has taken some of the fun away from this league because he wasn'y trying to improve his team but perge his rival players. Players he drafted.

The only hope for the rest of the league is to count on your poor FF management. (which has been a powerful factor the first 2 years of this league)

So we got that going for us........which is nice.

sorry could u speak up? Your voice isn't hitting the top of the mountain

Get on my level

BTW, its not on you. Its not your fault, but we know that in a legit league no player would have made that trade and if they did, other players would not play in that league the next year.

Well he felt he could go with Kolb at QB and felt weak at WR.

Don't be mad Pappy. I still love you

Been waiting to see highlights... Whaa happen?

the ref ****ed up and MAyweather is a piece of **** to sum it up

This kid ortiz had mayweather against the rope and was swinging and head butted him. Ref stopped the fight to deduct a point.

The kid ORtiz want up and hug and kissed or MAyweather apologizing. It was def intentional but he seemed very remorseful, like the moment just built up.*

So the ref goes to have them touch gloves and stops midway before he officially breaks them and turns his head and starts walking towards the scorers table.* So the kid ortiz goes up and hug Mayweather again. Again it seemed like a very honest moment of remorse for the cheap shot, which BARELY touched mayweather anyway. He headbutted him in the lip and didn't evne split it open.

WWF reference? The Montreal Screwjob?

not sure of the official name of the hustle but it was compeltely like watching WWF

don't know if you give a ****, but the Montreal Screwjob was Vince McMahon kicking Brett Hart out of the WWF in 1997. There was a title match on PPV where Bret Hart would defend his belt against Shawn Michaels....and during the match, McMahon ordered the ref to ring the bell after Michaels had Hart in the Sharpshooter(Hart's own move), even though he did not tap out.

It was not scripted, and only Michaels and McMahon knew about it, and it led to Hart's departure days later. lol
It caused real-life issues for all parties invovled until last year. SRS BZNS!! lol
