I actually do have cards for my websight. But I froze. I was giddey though. My wife said it was the happiest I was for the whole trip.</P>

We were on a side street while my buddy was at the ATM. He came out of the bank, stood around right next to us. I'm thinking "thats a cool looking guy..........you know what.....he kind of looks like Robert Plant.........Holy ****!!!......It IS Robert Plant!!!!!</P>

So he walks down accross the street and a Brittish couple standing next to us was taking pictures in his direction. I said "are you getting pictures of Robert Plant? He said "I'm taking a picture of the Beefeater sign.......Holy ****....that IS Robert Plant!!!!"</P>

I'm staying at the Residence Inn in E Rutherford. Can someone pick me up?That's a perfect location on the way in on Patterson Plank Road. I know you guy's like to get there early, but after meeting my boys, having a diner bkfast--I should be getting there @ 10:30am. If you still need a ride call my cell and I'll get ya.

So i just traded Colston 4 Shonn Greene. I think when Mangold is back and with the way they'vce been losing they are going to lean on him.

I know you'll dispute that...

</P>

I didn't complain at all when Eli threw the pick vs. the Rams. I understand that you have to make plays in the passing game and when you have a monster like Nicks, you have to find him in single coverage, even if its tight coverage.</P>

Its not that that bugged me about Eli last year. It was the dumb decisions. The willingness to chuck it into coverage before a play develops in the face of a pass rush. The failure to understand game situations like at Dallas and at Houston last season where the games were already won and he put that back in doubt with dumb passes.</P>

If Cruz, MM and Nicks have shown in games and/or practice that those throws he made in the past few weeks are good risks, I'm fine with it. Even if it gets picked once in a while. Its the paniced throws when he should be taking a sack or throwing it away that bug me.</P>

Amazing to all you "gunslinger" fans how protecting the football turns into <u>wins</u> for our team.</p>

And wins are what its about.</p> was he "protecting" the ball when he threw it up in double coverage for cruz'z 2nd td in philly???hmmmm or one the many times he threw to nicks with a corner all over him?

and thats been a point i have made all along about Eli

alot of his success isn't just wide open throws. He threads the needle ALOT which produces for us...

the old man just refuses to accept that as fact

but thats the general point. Eli is VERY similiar with his production. You would of never got half of these people to say that before this season started

Then for MH to come back and say well sometimes u have to rely on your receivers - yea no ****. Thats the same thing we've been saying for how long now? Alot of **** we went through last year was because we did rely on our recievers and they let us down on basic things.

EDIT: and I don't mean that they let us down ALOT. They had a really good year last year considering, but I mean ALOT of those tipped passes SHOULD of been made. That not only increases Eli's stats but also lets us keep the ball instead of turning it over

Look at his picks last year. They were almost never down the field. they were often completely rediculous decisions where he should have eaten the ball or thrown it away. OR (as he has done this season) dumped it off for the short gain. THIS Eli I have no problem with. Lasts years Eli I had a huge problem with.</P>

Trust me, his decision making has changed this season.</P>

Decker has done nothing. Best was a very high pick. Don't try and Meyerbud someone...

Decker has 20 catches for 270 and 4

time to let go of high picks... best sucks anyway and it was a package deal he was trying to work.

I mean do u still consider Mendenhall to be in the same class as Rice?

Do u still think Cam Newton isn't a top 8 fantasy qb? Or if the draft happened today would Fitzpatrick still go in the 15th round?

In an interview on the LaVar and Dukes show (http://washington.cbslocal.com/audio-on-demand/the-lavar-arrington-show-with-chad-dukes/#),
Cooley said he had a great time watching Romo throw three second-half
interceptions on Sunday, and that he would love to fight Romo in the
UFC.</p>

“It’s so good,” Chris Cooley said of seeing Romo and the Cowboys give up a 27-3 lead to the Lions, via Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/post/chris-cooley-on-tony-romo-choking/2011/10/04/gIQAY7PtKL_blog.html).
“I was watching the scoreboard in St. Louis, and I didn’t see that
they’d lost really until they end, I thought they blew them out so I
kind of stopped paying attention. It’s amazing, amazing to
watch him choke like that. I’m just saying, I’m up 24 points in the
third quarter, if I’m the head coach, I feel like I could probably just
take a knee for the rest of the game, punt it away and there’s no way
that Detroit’s gonna drive on you that many times. The only way you’re
gonna give up that many points is turnovers, right? It’s hilarious to
watch him throw pick sixes, too, back-to-back. I loved it.”</p>

Cooley then said the one thing he would enjoy more than seeing Romo
lose on the football field is stepping into the cage with Romo and
defeating him personally.</p>

“But it wouldn’t be as good as my cage fight,” Cooley said. “For me
to beat Tony? I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know what kind of cage
fighting skills he has. I would probably try to incorporate my wrestling
ability, like when I was in high school. Obviously it’s been a while,
but I didn’t like to beat people fast. I like to embarrass ‘em a little
bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little
bit.”</p>

It’s no surprise that Romo is hearing a lot of criticism this week
after throwing the game away against the Lions, just as he heard a lot
of praise the week before — after beating Cooley’s Redskins.</p>

Right now it seems that defenses are going with the "stop the run and make Eli beat you" strategy. And Eli has been beating them. Look for defenses to play a bit softer on the run and we should be able to make some plays in the running game.</P>

What did they do Matt, take down the thread with the guy threatening to hunt down and gut another poster?</p>

Who knew that kind of thing would be frowned upon.</p>

haha i have no clue

i already stuck my nose in when he banned Chaosist im not making more ripples

He is right that because if somebody is that disturbed, just banning them wouldn't stop them from reading if they were that deranged. But still it should not be tolerated. I do think that guy was just being over dramatic about it, don't think it had anything real to it

but u are absolutely right that many people have met up here before. So there is a face to posters. **** man, i have my name in my login lol
Chaosist has been banned? Really --who was the poster that made the threat?

zigga something
zigajay or something--he's still here. Haha--we got in this big debate over lifting this past summer. His personal attacks were far worse than some of MH's worse. lol

Mine are good natured fun.</p>

I think Zigajay is an Eli Cultists. <u>They tend to be more violent. (see DEZZZR) They don't get more violent than that.</u></p>im sorry, who called who "a little ****ing ****" i believe it was?? lol

I like to embarrass ‘em a little
bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little
bit.”</p>

It’s no surprise that Romo is hearing a lot of criticism this week
after throwing the game away against the Lions, just as he heard a lot
of praise the week before — after beating Cooley’s Redskins.</p>

im convinced cooley is on hard drugs

Like many National Hockey League goaltenders, <span class="ysp-player">Jason LaBarbera (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/2476/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/2476/news)</span> of the Phoenix Coyotes (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/teams/pho/)
was in the market for a new mask design for the upcoming season.
Previously, he had worn inventive color schemes that honored disparate
muses like Metallica and pro wrestling. This year, he came to artist
David Arrigo with a much different kind of inspiration:</p>
<center id="yui_3_3_0_1_1317757613804518">http://l.yimg.com/a/p/sp/editorial_image/06/06d07e83f4663b1f887a80b67398cbbe/pat_tillman_tribute_featured_on_jason_labarberas_s tunning_new_mask.jpg</center>

</p>

LaBarbera wanted a mask that honored both the U.S. and Canadian
Armed Forces serving overseas. More specifically, he wanted one side of
the mask to honor the late Pat Tillman; the defensive back for the Arizona Cardinals (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/ari/) who left the NFL to enlist in the U.S. Army (http://www.thepostgame.com/node/1197) with his brother after 9/11, and who was killed by friendly fire on April 22, 2004 in Afghanistan.</p>
<p id="yui_3_3_0_1_1317757613804528">The mask depicts Tillman and his
brother in military gear, along with an image of Pat Tillman as a member
of the Cardinals, who like LaBarbera's Coyotes play in Glendale.</p>

"I had read a book about Tillman prior to the request and had taken
great interest in the story," said Arrigo, whose goalie mask creations
are found on his official website. (http://www.darrigoart.com/)</p>

Tillman's death in action was a controversial one, as the Army covered up the details of his shooting (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=112816210). That led to a congressional inquiry about it, and eventually an award-winning documentary called "The Tillman Story" (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129235553) that examined the scandal.</p>

"With all circumstances leading up to the passing of Pat Tillman
aside, I felt that he put a face to the everyday soldier," said Arrigo.</p>
<center>http://l.yimg.com/a/p/sp/editorial_image/96/96f01b819b5b4c5653041f3ea7c24365/pat_tillman_tribute_featured_on_jason_labarberas_s tunning_new_mask.jpg</center>

The opposite side of the mask features a single, faceless solider
with helicopters above his head. Throughout the mask is a
red-and-sand-colored camouflage that matches the Coyotes' team colors.</p>

http://l.yimg.com/a/p/sp/editorial_image/05/05ac2a2ee3e3a2dd82db670ab05ef7bd/pat_tillman_tribute_featured_on_jason_labarberas_s tunning_new_mask.jpgPart
of the design: Multiples stars and maple leafs that serve as a tribute
to "both Canadian and American forces serving in their respective
theaters," said Arrigo.</p>

On the front of the mask is a yellow ribbon, an acknowledgement that
those serving overseas are in the thoughts of those back home.</p>

This isn't the first time Tillman's been honored by the Coyotes. In 2004, forward Mike Ricci changed his sweater number to No. 40 in honor of Tillman (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=1877716). In 2007, Coyotes captain <span class="ysp-player">Shane Doan (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/1354/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/1354/news)</span> and his wife received the Pat Tillman Community Leadership Award (http://coyotes.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=427804).</p>

Arrigo said the mask was a perfect way to honor Tillman and the rest of the men and women still serving around the world.</p>
<p id="yui_3_3_0_1_1317757613804529">"Personally, whether or not you agree with the actions overseas, I feel we need to support, to no end, our brave forces," he said.</p>

For information about the Pat Tillman Foundation, visit its official site. (http://www.pattillmanfoundation.org/) Visit Arrigo on Facebook for more goalie designs. (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/facebook.com/davidarrigoart)</p>

Wheeeeee! Just got a deal on an olympic weight tree. As you see from the shelf unit I built for NYG memmorabilia, I am in the process of redoing my gym room. It's a psuedo-gym/NYG room. I put the interlocking cushion gym matts under my machines. I have cut out some older storage shelves to expand the gym space and now have room for my weight trees. I had them stored for the past 7 yrs in the garage. They got rusty over time, I have them on the workbench right now and I began grinding, sanding the rust off --planning to rustoleum prime and then repaint.......until I found these babies for $35.99.

I've only wore my Eli jersey twice since I've owned it lol....it's huuuuge on me. lol</p>I wore my Eli for the first time last Sunday--game being in Glendale-I thought it appropriate and he rallied big time in the 4th. My Eli jersey is HUGE on me too lol.

Congrats on your win. They answered. All that money for the Yanks and it's coming down to a rookie pitcher. Good luck!

Luckily, that rookie (Might I suggest ROtY) has been basically the most consistent starter on our roster this year.

Yes-close to Brady's 111. That's hard for me to put in perspective. For some reason, I just don't classify Eli with Brady.

It won't happen (Verlander I mean)

There are a handful of writers who vote who refuse to vote pitchers on MVP ballots at all. So by default those people cant get voted to MVP because instead of low rank votes, they get NO rank. I just don't see it happening for Verlander</P>

Because pitchers should not win mvp. </P>

Only way I see a pitcher should even be considered for mvp is there are no real offensive players that stand out. </P>

well i go by the most literal term. HE may of only played in 30 games but he had more of an effect for his team than anybody else. How many people single handedly have had that effect on their team

I mean honestly, in his 24 wins, in only 4 of them did he give up 3 or more runs. EVen in his losses he always ate up innings which always kept his bullpen fresh. He averaged the most innings per start out of any AL pitcher.

I typically agree, but I think Verlander is the exception

basically by using the defensive yards and points, it gives a more accurate reading of how well the defense played.

Think of it like this, you have Giants DE. Eli throws a pick and the Seahawks start on our 20 yard line. BOOM 3 and out and we give up the FG. Now the points go down, but u held them to a 3 and out and basically no yardage. It just gives a more realistic view of how well the defense played.
