Manningham revealed that there are "things floating" in his knee, and he could eventually need surgery. Asked if the injury would be season-ending in nature, Manningham replied, "I don't know. We'll have to see." Don't expect him to play against the Packers this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Vikings are set to release QB Donovan McNabb on Thursday.</p>

Gotta believe he'd end up in Houston or Chicago. Probably Chicago.</p>maybe its just me, but if i was in charge of the vikings, i dont care if we are 0-10, im not letting the bears land mcnabb. seems silly to let him go.

thats exactly what I would want. No way McNabb could just pick up Martz system and excel in it. That would be a great move for the Vikings if that happened - and us

Doctors wanted to ensure that Nicks would be

practice on Friday. His bruised are a non-factor, as Nicks won't even

It looks like our IR is def near the top...
with 12 guys on that list... So the below list (quickly reviewing it
over) are abouve us...

Rams
Jags
Bills
Seahawks (tied)

So basically 85% of the NFL doesnt have as many people on IR as we do...

Correction the Panthers are tied for 12 with us and the Hawks too... So
thats 81% of the NFL dont have more IR...

it be known that he wants to join the Knicks.
</div>

they'll milk him for a good part of the season

May as well. Then they will do it just like what happened to Melo and DWill.

I wonder if Dwight will be in the same boat.

absolutely

unless they want to tank the season and then lose all the money

they are all about making as much money as possible

I wonder if the Magic are bitter about it and will accept a worse deal to send him a crappy team that he doesn't want to play for. There are lots of possibilities. This is going to torment me. It would be so nice to have Dwight and Kobe. Then a legit PG please!

na man business first. They have to try and build a contender

The good news is that Johnson has been able to get

appears to be a real issue. If the Texans were simply looking to limit
Johnson's time on the practice field, it's likely he would have shown up
on the injury report with his previous hamstring ailment instead of a
knee injury.

So, tell me if this is close to accurate: no Osi, Tuck playing poorly, Herlich out, no Beatty, no Manningham, maybe no nicks, BJ &amp; Ware playing is close to not having a RB in the game. Potential AB returning from a broken foot.

I was asking myself what is different with NYG in the last 3 years? 08-I give a partial pass with the loss of Plax, however we should hold Reese accountable for having proper depth at the position. What comes to mind is the new stadium and the fluffy psl's the org got.

No matter how stinky the team is, the Giant's get paid for their tickets every year. They hold your psl investment ransom, if you choose to not buy tickets, you lose your investment.

Yes,
the Giants are coming off one of their worst performances of the Tom
Coughlin era, but letís not forget this is a team thatís beaten the
Patriots on the road and hung with the 49ers in San Francisco until the
gameís final moments in the past 30 days. The Packers are clearly the

Spags game plan shut down the top 3 offenses in the league that year in crunch time.

The difference between Coughlins control is that, as you've been saying for two years now, Fewell sucks and he still lets him stick to that game plan.

He over sees it all. But bottom line the only time u hold Coughlin accountable is for 2007 . You've even gone on to say that u give him a pass for 05 and 08.

We were the best team in football in 08 for the first 3/4 of the season and then got embarressed in playoffs. Same type of embarressment in 05.

Truth is your just a glass is half full guy when it comes to Coughlin. No way you can remember back to 08 and be happy with that season, unless you have a cowboy fan mindset

no really if "spags won the superbowl" why isnt fewell the head culprit on our demise the last two seasons???? its all been on the defense, right? offense avgs 20 points a game, cant blame them. lol you guys are funny

Spags made his mark over three games game planning in the playoffs

Fewell, as you always pointed out, has always sucked and been overrated and Coughlin has never stepped in and still let this game plans go through after not being effective.
i agree with everything you just said. but i still put more blame on fewell in regards to our defensive performance, which i think we all should. and the players quitting is inexcusable. i dont care whos coaching. these guys get paid to much money to just give up. they share that responsibility

the team ****ting the bed, goes beyond the defense. Offense hasn't done their part past few games, special teams have ALWAYS been nonexistant, we CONSTANTLY kill ourselves with penalties, the team isn't responding to anything anymore. Im sorry but if 50 guys have no life out there, it goes beyond just individuality

You blame everything on everyone else and thats fine until it all comes to the screaching halt. IT started wtih the effort vs the Eagles. That should of been a 40-10 game in favor of us. The Saints game was the icing on the cake.

Mix in the fact that he is a PUTRID, i repeat PUTRID record vs teams with winning records, the fact that the onyl real playoff wins (when he was lucky enough to be in the playoffs) where when we had a great defensive game plan.

It was the same story before spags and after spags.

Because Dezzz....teams dont just continuously fire their coordinators year in year out if there teams underperform, and lose. we went that route once already...didnt work obviously according to you. So you hold the man responisble for it all. The head coach.

And to answer your question "Why now?"...
Because one or 2 close losses is nothing to get worked up about. But being on a slide that we are? A complete downward spiral into being irellevant? That's called the hot seat. And coughlin has been on the hot seat far too many times for his *** not to burn this time around.
I like him....but, if he's not fired, Giants front office is no better than a bunch of ******ed fans who know nothing about football.</P>

i can get free tickets to any nets game ever lol
Really, Let's go! I'll go with ya.

lol alrite i'll get tickets to a game

i've never seen so many excited people to go to a nets game ever

u do realize they are available for purchase for like $5
I didn't know that. I'll be honest, I'm not sure if I ever went to a professional basketball game. I like watching the college tournament. I think the last game I went to was the NYG charity game, retired players vs. the local fire dept at our High School.

lol its alrite... nothing exciting...

if u wanna see a real NBA game you have to go to the Garden vs a decent opponent. Especially now that th eknicks got a team that can play....
O &amp; A were talking about Patrice today. That Sucks.

yea Wed was pretty rough to listen to. Can't wait for this weekend though because they are going to be doing all patrice all the time...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjIuPSuYSOY

one of my favorite patrice moments when he **** on this lady tlaking about free speech lol

LMAO! He went hard as **** on that poor girl. She couldn't even talk she was so flustered. lol
Yeah he did, but he also apologized once and was respectful. He was a good guy.

i loved it though

rape jokes aren't for everybody, i agree

but this braods trying to say it was America speaking up about it and not the PC police. I mean honestly the average american understands freedom of speech and doesn't mind. Only these ****in soccer moms give a **** about bullshiut like that.

It is amazing that this lady couldn't recognize that her position really was with the PC police

I love the term fake outrage... its applicable to so much bull**** today

Is that D-Jax? I think heís triple-covered. You know what? **** it. Iím throwing it downfield.

Yeah, I see Jones open on the flank. But **** that. Dumpoff passes are for ***gots. Iím ****ing Sexy Rexy Grossman. I can get that ball in there. And, even if I canít, I bet Iíll be able to pull it off the next go round. I like throwing the ball long. It makes my **** hard.

Whatís that? I should throw a quick slant? **** that. Thatís gay. Button hook? Gay. Flare out? Gay. Screen pass? Kevin Spacey gay. This is ****ing football. You canít just expect wins to come to you. You canít massage that ****. You gotta grab that game by the throat and rape the ever-loving **** out of it. You think a 5-yard out is gonna win you a game? Youíre a *****. This ainít John Shoop running this offense. Sexy Rexyís got the arm. The dragon. You gotta unleash the dragon.

Okay, Iím throwing it. Nice. Look how far it went. I look good. I bet I made that Pats cheerleader wet her panties with that throw. She ****ing wants me. I bet she likes it over a stair railing. I can hit that with 100% accuracy, my dear. Mmmmmm. I am delicious.

Oh ****. Looks like Samuel caught it. Again. Oh well. It still felt ****ing great to throw that ****. Tell me that wasnít one of the prettiest passes you ever saw. You know what? Not only am I gonna throw it long the next time we hit the field. Iím gonna throw it even longer. Harder. You see that kid in wheelchair sitting in the end zone bleachers? Iím gonna nail him right between the ****ing eyes with a Sexy Rexy fastball. Why? Because I can.

This is Rex Grossman weíre talking about here. Weíre talking 210 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. Iím not just a gunslinger. Iím a cumslinger. Throwing that ball long tells all the Rexettes that I am ****ing out there. On the edge. Where I gotta be. The ladies love the danger. The unpredictability. Oh, maybe Iíll tease them with a pretty touch pass every now and again. But then Iím gonna go right back to pumping that ball out for all itís worth. It tells them I throw like I ****. Thatís how we do things in the sexy business.

factor in the injuries to the oline, the fact that snee is producing like maybe our worst olineman, McKeznie has regressed, Diehl as better at Tackle, a lil learning curve out of Beatty, and Baas has not lived up to the contract

True, the O-Lines age has caught up to them. Snee is getting run over and ran past he is a straight up shell of his former self. K-Mack is all but done as an NFL starter, he was our strongest run blocker for his tenure here so much so that we could overlook his sub par pass protection cause he was such a road grader. Baas is a damned good pass blocker and a garbage run blocker, DTs and LBs just slip past him seemingly untouched

Beatty is mah boy, he's been playing out of this world this season. Shutting down just about ever pass rusher he sees (with 1 on 1 coverage I might add) his only knock is that his run blocking is falling in line with the rest of our lines crappy run blocking

I dont wanna say that age caught up with Diehl n Snee either, but they can no longer pick up the LBs blitzing, they just dont have the agility anymore (or they havent shown it this season)

You would think that Diehl was gonna be a great LG, thats where he performed at his highest level of play a few years ago.

Why do you think Beatty would be a better RT, typically with right handed QBs the RT is a better run blocker who is more of a mauler than a finesse OL, which is what Beatty is. IMO Beatty is the prototypical LT

I am also going ocmpletely on my own here and saying that Snee is hurt. Something is off, we know hes missed time, been pulled out of games, and my conspiracy theory is that we are going to hear that he played much mor einjured than we know this year.

I just think that Beattys pass blocking isn't par for LT and would match up much better on the right side. I don't think hes as bad at run blocking as you suggest. I think playing RT will take stress off of him dealing with the Demarcus Wares and Brian Orakpos of the world. I think that while he isn't a road grater, we aren't going for that type of offense anymore. I think it just seems worse with Jacobs in the backfield. I want to see a split of Bradshaws runs this year, im pretty sure hes had more success to the left side

Oh yea has anyone mentioned THIS!?!?!?

(CBS/AP) DECATUR, Ala. - A linebacker for the Oakland Raiders was
arrested Thursday after police say he fired a gun during a fight in his
hometown.

Rolando McClain, 22, was charged with assault,
menacing, reckless endangerment and firing a gun inside the city limits,
after police say he held a gun to a man's head then fired it beside his
ear.</p>

McClain, who signed a $40 million, five-year contract with
the Raiders in July 2010, was released on $2,000 bond. His attorney said
he denies firing the gun and being involved in a fight.</p>

Police
said the victim, whose name was not released, suffered injuries to his
head and face during a fight with another man who was also arrested and
released. He was bleeding when officers talked to him.</p>

"The
victim told officers that following the fight, he crawled to his car,"
the police statement said. "He said that when he reached his car,
Rolando McClain produced a pistol and aimed it at him. He said that
while he was still on the ground, McClain walked over to him and put the
gun to his head."</p>

Police said the victim told officers "he
begged McClain not to shoot him and that McClain took the gun away from
his head, held it next to his ear and fired it."</p>

Raiders coach
Hue Jackson told the Associated Press that McClain was in Alabama for
his grandfather's funeral and that he expected the linebacker to play
this Sunday in Miami.</p>

Well where shall I start.....

You may be right, DD may have grown into the LT spot (even though he wasnt good there) and the change back to LG isnt as easy as all of us fans thought. He's def not the scape goat because he's between Baas and Beatty, go back and focus on our LT spot (I always do cause I was such a Beatty supporter, I sometimes focus on him) Beatty is on 'Beatty Island' (LOL) 1 on 1 with the Orakpo's, T Cole's and Peppers' of the NFL, he's not the guy missing blocks and blowing assignments

Snee injured, I could see it. But cmon these guys do more damage to our team when they play hurt, admit you're f'd up and let someone else step in and hopefully help us.... YA HEAR THAT JUSTIN TUCK!!!!!

I dont wanna sound like a Dbag, but go back and watch the tape on Beatty, his pass protection is/was hands down the best on our OL by MILES!!! And what are you talking about, the 'stress' of Beatty, he is one of the most even keeled NFLers (just about every draft site mentioned that) but that may also play into his subpar run blocking.

I def want a road grader (like the old KMack) and while we have gravitated towards a pass 1st offense it would be amazing to have a straight up beast at RT who just looks foward to kicking the tish out of DEs

Jacobs, Bradshaw, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, a Rhino it doesnt matter who's running behind our OL, theyre gonna blow dong

Yea I just saw that hes been sacked 20x this year, it feels like much less. Then again we had a few games where the sacks just piled up, between Philly, Wash, Seattle, and STL we had 16 sacks

Eazy E is def doing a great job at minimizing the turnovers, I remember the days of him getting pressure and it was almost guaranteed that he'd toss up a duck into the opponentns hands

The recent lack of first-half touchdowns is not sitting well with Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.

"It's very frustrating," Gilbride said on Thursday.

In the last four games, the Giants have has failed to score a single
touchdown in the first half and the squad has just one score in its
last five games. In those last four games, the Giants have not scored
more than six points in a half and have tallied a combined 12 points.

For right now im just going to go with Diehl grew into the tackle position. ALot of points have been also made that Diehl has been the scapegoat playing between Baas and Beatty this year

We should just keep him at LB no matter what. We'll have JPP playing his natural position and Tolly will be on the other side. We cant have our middle core being Grant, Blackburn, Williams, and Jones, thats just abysmal

Kiwi is a NASTY DE, but we cant keep moving him here and there, he just needs to grow into his role as the 'joker' LB

first off, ridiculous to say he def wasn't missing assignments. Blitzes on his inside gap, you have no clue what the slide call was, neither do I. Like I said, its just something I read from someone on the board. Forget who, but it wasn't like NYGBurner or osmething like that lol, somebody thats a good poster.

Sealing the edge isn't always his responsibility... sure on straight up blocking with no stunts hes on that DE but its basically impossible to tell. Just thought it was an interesting theory.

Beatty is part of the problem. You may be impressed with some of the things he did, but he is far from complete are solid. Being one dimensional in a balanced offense is not a good thing.

And for the record i've seen Beatty pushed back and physicalled back into our RBs and Eli's lap numerous times. Just because he stayed in front doesn't mean he did a great job, it just means he didn't get completely *****ed.

Yea I agree these guys playing hurt is an issue, but if you don't play for something that is considered "nagging" it reflects badly on you. I've actually been arguing wtih people suggesting that Tuck is a *****, all week. Its amazing.

Its slippery slope to decide whether to sit or not. If your good enough to go but may not be 100%, should you play? At however injured you are, are you better than the backups?

Dude honestly I do rewatch all the games, i was impressed to a degree but he def isn't what I considered Solid. Certain games he did do very well, but he wasn't consistantly good at all. He was embarressed in Philly2.

I think I like the idea of trying to land a power house Guard and keeping Beatty and Diehl at tackles. It just depends what they want to do. I think Diehl is too invaluable with his ability to move to guard and tackle even though he hasn't looked great at guard. HEs only 31 and we have him for a couple of more years. Can't completely overhaul the OLine in 2 years unless you want a bad rebuilding stage.

I agree not to expect big numbers, but I think bradshaw would of tore **** apart with the holes our OLine was making this past week. Not that it was old schots football, but they were there enough.

With a victory against the Rams, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh can improve
his record with the team to 10-2. That would give Harbaugh as many
victories in 12 games as Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo (10-33) would have
after 44 games.

well directly to the left me was this 9 year old kid and his dad. I must say, one of the best strangers I sat next too. I couldn't believe all the **** this kid knew. He was screaming Kildrive sucks, ****in hilarious

Younger guys in back of us were cool bull****ted with them the whole time, had a couple of GB fans in front were cool. The couple to the left of the young kid and his dad were cool, the people to the right were cool.

So at half time we had to take a piss so our row was filled but the 10 setas in front of us were empty at this point, there was like5 people to the left and 5 people to the right of the row in front, so we stepped down and walked out to the left. Apparently cursed her out and called her a name for walking by his way and not going the other way. So i didn't hear this and we walk down she tells me what happend so I walked back after we pissed and just chumped him in front of everybody. He kept screaming at me "YOU RENT, YOU RENT". Thanks dezz had a great time. Got along with EVERYBODY in your section and made you look good. A lil tiff happened but everybody was on our side lol so u don't have to worry about anything. Only issue is that this person was a season ticket holder as well

Looks like the Terrorist Squad vs. FTU next week. HAHAHAHA!!!!</p>

This one will be over early.</p>

P,S. Is Byron really the favorite? He's been riding the Rodgers train the past few weeks with the rest of his team falling apart. He is at KC and vs. the Bears at Lambo, weeks 15 and 16.</p>

They are scrambling in Central Maine.</p>

If KP doesn't get hurt I can't help but think we win that game.

Rodgers was picking on Blackmon bad.

How did Eli not see Matthews on that pick to Bradshaw?

Once again we had the chances and didn't capitalize. I was soooooo happy when we scored the 2 point conversion only to be so crushed so quick.

That game @ New England seems like a long time ago....We need a W!

Well they got down to the 31 yard line with the game tied with 27 seconds left and two time outs. They don't call time out and scramble to spike the ball with 7 seconds. then he calls a time out just before they snap it and HE MAKES THE KICK... He iced his own kicker and after the time out he missed it.</P>

Why would he not call time out with 27 seconds and try to move up the field more? And why on earth would he ice his own kicker?</P>

Literally cost them the game and may have cost them the season. You should have seen Jerry going nuts in the box.</P>
