Archie Manning believes Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck do not want to be teammates on the Colts next season.

Luck has participated in the Manning Family's
passing camp. His father, Oliver, was a teammate of Archie's, so the
families may have already touched base on the possibility. Despite team
president Bill Polian's comments to the contrary, the Indianapolis
Star's Bob Kravitz has been insistent that Manning and Luck won't be
together in Indy next season. It's quite possible that Manning and the
Colts could be headed toward a divorce.

No one is stopping you. lol

It really is mind boggling. You are professional athlete getting paid millions to play the game you love. You should be giving your everything every Sunday. No excuses.
I feel like they need to see how much money people lay out each week just to watch them play football. To see those THOUSANDS of fans cheering their hearts out, while living and dieing with every play after paying a hefty sum to get there should be motivation

Maybe we need the Crunch Bunch on the sidelines threatening to eat their children and rape their wives if they show no heart
I heard Rolle on the fan at lunch. Yeah that part was bad...he was saying some games, he is just flat and he can't figure out why. overall, I kinda like that guy. The part about going against the best players/teams was awesome.I missed him on the fan, but I never thought Id like Rolle as much as I currently do. He's honest and it seems like he really enjoys being a Giant..... His on the field play isnt half bad either, LOL

Rolle's comments, sometimes a bit strange, i actually love them...and I LOVE the fact that he loves being a Giant. Like, he actually gives a ****.....and he cares about what fans think, and he cares about the rivalries...he's a Giant, whether you like his trash talk or not...

Yeah-He's a down to earth guy. He said it's going to take emotion, passion, mental toughness and having fun while they play ball to beat Dallas twice in next 4 weeks.

Let me just start by congratulating the people who have made the playoff round in FF. Mr Bud, Good effort to buckle down and grab the last spot.

Now, for those of you in the consolation round, fear not. There is still something for you all to play for. I have a vintage photo signed by Mr. Sam Huff, a Kenny Phillips Autographed Card, and a bunch of other items that are Giants related. I will see to it that this is given to the winner of the cons. round. Good luck to all.
LT- This Sam Huff would look really nice next to all your other stuff in the collection, so i fully expect that you will suck it up and gitter dun..lol.

Not looking past you. I'm just predicting a FTU victory over you. My matchups are fine. Stafford have nothing but warm weather and/or domes from here on out. The GB defense has some back up QB's coming too. And if MJD gets 25 points against SD, how many do you think Ray Rice is getting. And MJD will tear through Atlanta.

This week my matchups are insane. I should beat Matt with my two RB's and QB alone.

The GB defense has some back up QB's coming too. And if MJD gets 25 points against SD, how many do you think Ray Rice is getting. And MJD will tear through Atlanta.

This week my matchups are insane. I should beat Matt with my two RB's and QB alone.

Rice will explode - thats about it

remember to write in the notes section of the check ur going to send me "I WAS WRONG"

My prediction is that its going to be you and me in the finals.

Pats that stuff is going to looks GREAT on me and blondie's wall after I win it all.

because Saints have alot more offensive talent and speed. Rodgers is better than Breez and GB is no chumps but Jimmy Graham and Darren Sproles really take that team to another level. Harder to guard a RB and TE that are dominant.

NFL admitted the wrong calls.....lotta good that does us now =\

Do we have a link that shows the NFL admitting those mistakes? I can't find anything.

Ah, a Poe fan, ehh? One of my favorites: "A huge human foot d'or, in a field azure; the foot crushes a serpent rampant whose fangs are imbedded in the heel." "And the motto?" "Nemo me impune lacessit." "No one provokes me with impunity". This motto appears on the royal arms of Scotland.

You were saying something about being insane?

oh thats right, that is apparently never happening.....lol

the story I got was that they got held up and then once the seaosn started they didn't want to switch in the middle of the season. After the season we are getting them

After the season? I believe it when I see it. The new forums are going to be way cool.......if the other mods don't enforce all their petty stupid bs. Which I'm sure they will. There is a whole section behind your member name where you can personalize ****. Lt is going to create a hall of Nooners for everyone's viewing pleasure before I get banned.

Boards are going to suck for the first year. Every ******* that ever got a lifetime ban will be able to come back.

Well so much for that...lol

Yeah, if I kept Matt Ryan and Stafford I would have been ****ed. It's fine, you don't have to give me any credit. I told you before this all started that I would finish above you and once again for the 3rd year in a row I will. Had Blondie not pulled that trade she still would have beat MH so it doesn't matter. That trade will end up hurting you in the long run after MH beats you by 30 or 40. You are so stubborn. He helped me with 2 picks but according to you he drafted my whole team and made all my trades for me.

I am not against the rule at all. I backed up the rule countless times. I just thought it was ****ed up that the last place team traded with the 3rd place team. I started the whole thing wrong. It was not the players that were traded, it was the situation. I thought we said that if last place teams traded with 1st place teams it could be vetoed. Blondie had nothing to play for and made MH's team considerably better. It's 6s at this point so whatever. I would not have even said anything but it upset me that everyone just **** on B.

and the good thing is that that our IT dept is held to the highest standard so they cant get away with stuff like that. My roommate works for them lol. They catch alot of flack for small things.

Same thing happened with our coin machine. my specific position, i get auto-generated emails from our help desk dept when someone files a service request....
some IT guy came in to fix a problem with it one day....the next day i see his service request, basically calling my branch incompetent for not knowing certain things about the machine. I asked around, nobody knew about the things he was talking about. Myself included. I then though 'hey, i was never actually trained by IT on this...I'm self taught"
I respond to email "Bob, i know youre socially awkward and find it difficult to carry conversation or use full sentences, but none of us at the branch have had any type of formal training for this machine. If you feel leaving the operation manual is sufficient, that's fine, but don't expect us to be pros at everything."

Guess who comes in to service the coin machine every time now? lol

It's pretty cool, cuz now every office will have it's own company extension, so now my *****es can dial me direct =P* lol
Anyway....they came in, hooked all the **** up, and then left without telling us any of our extensions, or how to even use the phones.
wtf

Sounds completely typical---that's how **** runs in today's business world. I would not be surprised if maybe they told upper management when they will return and mgmnt failed to inform the troops of this little detail.

haha, my poor manager is in the dark too....
and the good thing is that that our IT dept is held to the highest standard so they cant get away with stuff like that.

Guess who comes in to service the coin machine every time now? lol
lol, socially awkward.

I'm honored you think I'll be in the finals. I guess it's your way of saying you are great Landon and you played a great year all by yourself. I never thought you would be able to do it but you proved me wrong and I'll never give you **** again about people drafting your team and helping you because obviously that didn't happen without saying it. Right? lol

TRUTH TIME:

I KNOW that your first two draft me and your philly friend helped u tons. Not opinion, but factual

And the reality of it is that ur team would NOT be good unless u were able to take Vick off of Sharick for peanuts. It lead to every other trade u were able to get off. Only thing thats proven is that your for the rule when it benefits you and against it when you THINK it isn't. BTW, i think u owe blondie an apology and a thank you

I would not have even said anything but it upset me that everyone just **** on B.

by what logic would u of been ****ed if u kept Stafford and Ryan.

We'll see this week about Stafford now won't we. Hows Rivers doing?

Benson had an awful weak and tMJD blew up and still was only a 10 point difference. First time its worked in Mooreheads favor

I love the fact that Moorheead is so high this week - Stafford would be a decent play this week if i didn't have Calvin and if Nate was reliable. Rice is the only thing hes got going for him

even still about the "Situation", she attempted to make her team better and played 2 bubble playoff teams and 1 playoff bye bubble team

play til the whistle rule.

Pappy really didn't upgrade as much as your making it seem. I'd infact say that it seems stafford is pretty healthy, but at that time he had a broken bone in his hand and was coming off 2 weeks of 7 picks. Rivers is going to tear it up. Its going to be a loss for Pappy

Apparently it's yours. I was being sarcastic. You said it's the only reason I was able to make any of my other trades which could not be farther from the truth. I moved Jordy for Best and Best for Maclin. I moved Stafford for Graham essentially ( which was probably a bad trade for me ) and still would have had Ryan. The fact I got Vick did nothing for my trade prospects. Then I moved Jennings and Beanie for AP ( which was also a bad trade for me ). Vick has been hurt the whole damn time anyway. If I don't win this year I have no one but myself to blame. Maybe I made too many moves....

truth time again:

Lando trades a backup QB and FA back up WR for MIKE VICK. Possibly the most dynamic fantasy player in the game who WILL be healthy for fantasy playoffs. Not to mention that he also single handedly outscored Ryan and Washington single handedly for the first 5 weeks of the trade which put u over the top.

the fact you were able to get so much value for nothing AND STILL have a legit QB on your team is what opened your whole season up.

You were then were able to trade Greg Jennings & Beanie Wells 4 Adrian Peterson. I think we could all agree that he'll probably be the #1 pick again next year as hes been for the past 3-4 years.

Fair enough trade right? Not really

Because u were then able to move stafford 4 Jimmy Graham.

So really you were able to upgrade Beanie to Peterson and Vick for Matt Ryan/Stafford in exchanging Jimmy Graham for Jennings which is a push....

I respect the moves cuz u pulled em off, can't respect you because your not man enough to admit the truth of the story (Fantasy wise).

When I traded with Daven I admitted I got the better end of the deal, just no where near where u guys are suggesting and it ended up hurting my team anyway. Be honest

Your team was completely upgraded and did enough damage before AP and Vick got hurt to get u a bye and have them healthy for playoffs. Your soooo full of ****

That said It's hard to believe that Obama would beat any candidate period, pretty sure the Donald could beat him, Obama over the last 4 years has solidified his place as "literally" the worst president in American History...bar none, it's not even close....so I can't imagine anyone losing to him.

I can't imagine anyone still believes his bull**** anymore, he's done nothing but lie about everything his entire term (and even before it while on campaigning) it doesn't matter how much money you have, the money is to help get your points out there....but if no one believes any of your points it doesn't matter how much exposure they have.

the only way it will be close is if there is enough brainwashed (young) members of society out there that will vote for him even if he is in direct contrast to what they want simple cause they don't know wtf is going on....AND if a third party candidate steals all the conservative votes.

I'm against pointless war's, business controlling government, degradation of personal liberties, and unemployment...those are all the things Obama is promising if he gets elected again...that's pretty much his platform...he states it in such a way that you are convinced they are "good" things....but when it's simplified that's what he stands for....but you'll put your head in the sand and refuse to believe it so I don't know why I'm even bringing it up again.

That said It's hard to believe that Obama would beat any candidate period, pretty sure the Donald could beat him, Obama over the last 4 years has solidified his place as "literally" the worst president in American History...bar none, it's not even close....so I can't imagine anyone losing to him.
i think it will be close. obama does have a BILLION dollars to run with.

I can't imagine anyone still believes his bull**** anymore, he's done nothing but lie about everything his entire term (and even before it while on campaigning) it doesn't matter how much money you have, the money is to help get your points out there....but if no one believes any of your points it doesn't matter how much exposure they have.

the only way it will be close is if there is enough brainwashed (young) members of society out there that will vote for him even if he is in direct contrast to what they want simple cause they don't know wtf is going on....AND if a third party candidate steals all the conservative votes.

its funny that u suggest everyone. You have a shut in opinion of people who agree with your points and label that as everybody

Regardless of what you say Obama is back in. Im sure once it happens you'll come back with some garbage, but its in the bag.

u a betting man?
you know it. newt will go up one side of bam and down the other in a debate.
if newt wins the primary he said he would challenge obama to 7, 3 hour long debates, obama will refuse because he knows hell get owned. newt will then follow obama everywhere he goes by 4 hours to debunk his talking points until he accepts.

this is the same strategy abe lincoln used when he was trailing james buchanan. abe challenged him to debate for 100 days until election day. james thought he was crazy and refused, abe followed him where ever he went and buhcanans numbers started dropping until he accepted and abe owned him in the debates.

its going to be much closer than everyone thinks if newt can keep his foot out of his mouth.

Newt has ZERO chance at beating Obama
lol i just posted a poll that shows hes 2 points ahead of obama. obama cant run on hope and change this time and he has very little to show for the 5 trillion hes spent.

lol polls. Zero shot i'll put anything u want on it
whats zero shot? hell get blown out? please tell me how obama can blow anybody out with fast and furious scandal, solyndra scandal, his disastrous and highly expensive healthcare bill, all his vacation time, failed stimulus, all of the campaign promises he broke from the first run, and his inability to get anything done? but most importantly, wheres the jobs?? and thats what americans will be asking.

same way bush got by on the second term: no decent candidates to oppose. Americans voting history speaks for itself - only 5 presidents have not been elected after 1 term. Couple that with the mockery that the Republicans are doing with this group. Zero shot...

right now OBama is back in office, your crazy if u think Newt would get voted in over him
like i said i think it will be close. newt WILL win the debates, and bam still has the left wing media and a billion bucks, BUT people are fed up. nothings gotten better under bam. food, gas prices, every things going up in price and unemployments STILL over 10, i dont care what the media says.

Bush got re-elected due to the War, the country wanted continuity, I know you were against the war Matt, but the majority of Americans democrats and republicans together where for it the same way you don't change head coaches in the middle of a season you don't change the commander and chief in the middle of a War.

I would not have even said anything but it upset me that everyone just **** on B.

by what logic would u of been ****ed if u kept Stafford and Ryan.

Not my awesome draft huh? Minus CJ of course. lol

I guess I will have to try and win you over next year when you are looking up at me AGAIN. All I can do is put my team in the best position to win and find the best and most fair deals possible. I have no control if someone values Ryan higher than Vick or any other scenario you have trashed me on.

this is ironic because it's actually your problem.

The reason I'm saying everyone is because some of the staunches Obama supporters I know have over the last year been turning against him, people from work, people who HATED the information I spewed at them 3 years ago, people JUST LIKE YOU MATT....most of the people like you I know have changed their opinion many of them to the point were they've told me they are simply not going to vote because they don't want Obama or any of the republican candidates so they don't know what to do.

meanwhile you and your friends all follow along the same brainwashed routine, you all only superficially catch things on the news and take it a face value.....and there may just be enough of you uniformed individuals to put up a fight, but not enough to win, that is unless someone ultra conservative goes third party....then you will win because they will take all the conservative vote....which is probably equal to the uniformed (you) vote.

not knocking ur draft, but u didn't get this success from it

You traded a QB who is mediocre and drafted late and a FA pickup that you overrate just to try and justify the trade for a bonafied first round talent that has been at times the best player in fantasy hands down

Factually the 3 best players on your team is Vick, AP, and Graham

this is the same strategy abe lincoln used when he was trailing james buchanan. abe challenged him to debate for 100 days until election day. james thought he was crazy and refused, abe followed him where ever he went and buhcanans numbers started dropping until he accepted and abe owned him in the debates.

what does being black have to do with anything???lol
aka im was raised a dem so ill vote for ANY dem

How the dem's got the black vote is beyond me, it's the biggest ploy in the last 50-60 years of politics.

It was the Republicans that were all about giving blacks equal rights not the Dem's, the Dem's even now try to "use" the black community to their benefit, they dangle welfare and other government subsidized programs in front of them in return for their vote and the black community (especially in the inner cities) don't see any other way, they don't realize they are in the situation they are in because of these government subsidized programs themselves....

they vote for the one thing that keeps them down, it's really hard to watch.\

look at Detroit, the more money we pump into it the worse off it is.

Republican party is killing it self, this next debate hosted by THE DONALD will gift wrap it for Obama

There isn't one serious candidate in the bunch, well Ron Paul, but no one will listen to him because he's anti war.

That said It's hard to believe that Obama would beat any candidate period, pretty sure the Donald could beat him, Obama over the last 4 years has solidified his place as "literally" the worst president in American History...bar none, it's not even close....so I can't imagine anyone losing to him.

The best candidate is John Huntsman. I still think with a good NH showing he has a chance. The second best is Romney. If either is nominated, Obama will be a one term President. If any of the other current candidates are nominated, he will have a second term.

Hunstman may have hurt himself by running a passive campaign, but he is a true conservative. Maybe the only one in the bunch. My GOP friends need to take another look at him.

I'd vote for Newt before Romney, I mean the only candidate I would actually want to vote for at the moment is Ron Paul, but I'd gladly vote for Newt to keep Obama out...I think there is enough of us out there that would do the same (and some that genuinely like Newt) that Obama would lose....there is no "reason" to keep Obama like there was with Bush, both had terrible presidencies...especially economically (although Obama was far worse obviously) but Bush had a plausible excuse, Obama has nothing...the question is why would anyone want him for 4 more years...no one has an answer for that.

Who gives a ****. You guys and your romantic notions of what a President should be. Dems are always looking for the next Jack Kennedy and Repubs are always looking for the next Reagan.

All I care about is the country, and what a potential President's effect on the country would be.

Calm yourself big guy, regardless of who the candidate is I'm voting republican this election just because the alternative is disastrous, but I can still voice my concern with the individual candidates during the primaries can't I?

Newt would be just as disasterous. But we won't find out because he will not be nominated.

If he is, I will write in someone else's name. He would lose probably 40 states.

i think youre sadly mistaken, hes already beating obama by 2 points in some polls and has a double digit lead over mitt

Republican, is all that needs to be said.

This time yes, only because the opposition is so disastrous, but I don't see Romney stepping in an changing the country for the better really either, I see Romney as a different version of bad...maybe a lesser one..but still not something I want.

Obama is SO bad I feel like we can get a TRUE conservative in there this time, I feel like this is our chance....but we aren't throwing anything up there...I wish Chris Christie ran or Paul Ryan...man he would have been awesome, Cantor any of those guys, but we got this crap....the guy I find myself agreeing and respecting most is Ron Paul who will never be taken seriously....the guy I hate the most out of our candidates is the most likely to succeed, I hate this election but I HAVE to vote republican just because I can't stand by idly as someone purposefully destroys our country.

Romney is gonna win the candidacy and it's gonna kill me to vote for him instead of a third Paul, I agree with like 75% of what Paul says....and Paul always has substance (always) I've heard almost nothing of substance from Romney I could agree with 5% or 95% of what he stands for, I just don't know but beyond that Paul's record is flawless, how many times have minority or majority leaders tried to sway him they've never been successful.

someone said to me weeks ago, "Republican's need a candidate that can play the game, Romney is that candidate" and you know what, that person is right if all we want is to "win" but I don't want to just win, I want to elect someone who ISN'T gonna play the game, whose gonna do it the right way.....but that person doesn't exist apparently...or if he does he's not electable....and that makes me sad.

I Agree with much of what RP says but, even more important, I KNOW he means what he says...he understands all the implications and consequences and has accepted them and is solidified in his positions....and that's almost as important to me as the positions themselves.

the only hitch I get is that I am Jewish and I do have an interest in the welfare of Israel, and he'd straight up leave em hanging no doubt in my mind that's what he'd do, but on the other hand...it is a possibility that that would be good for Israel, I think we do probably make their job more difficult by placing limitations on what they can and can't do.

While we all respect Ron Paul for his logic and consistency, he is a pure Libertarian. I definately have a lot of Libertarian bllod running through me but Ron Paul is a PURIST. He wants to eliminate Social Security, Medicare, and about 15 government agencies. I'd like to see a few eliminated or consolidated but he wants to go places that are rediculous.

We all want a smaller more efficient government, but we should also agree that a proper safety net is part of our fabric.

Ron Paul is not a conservative. He's a Libertarian. Now we can use some good Libertarian ideas these days (smaller government, reform of SS and Medicare and a smaller military footprint abroad), but a purist Libertarian is not what we need.

Let me preface this with, you and MH may call me a bleeding heart liberal, but I think Ron Paul is hands down the most competent republican candidate out there, its really a shame how he's almost treated like the black sheep by the media, its wierd.

Romney will never win presidency, he's got the Tony Romo disease, he folds under pressure
i agree. not as much as the man in the white house but mitt also seems a bit intimidated by the media as well.

you think Romney is intimidated by the media? really? I see him trying to pander to them but not because he's intimidated, it's because he knows how powerful a tool they can be.....he probably learned that from watching Obama's campaign.

He was a good Governor here in Mass and would be a good President.

Does anyone here remember that Newt Gingrich got kicked out of Congress on ethics violations? And then made 10's of millions of dollars selling access to Washington?

While we all respect Ron Paul for his logic and consistency, he is a pure Libertarian. I definately have a lot of Libertarian bllod running through me but Ron Paul is a PURIST. He wants to eliminate Social Security, Medicare, and about 15 government agencies. I'd like to see a few eliminated or consolidated but he wants to go places that are rediculous.

We all want a smaller more efficient government, but we should also agree that a proper safety net is part of our fabric.

now whose looking for the ideal candidate?

Paul's the most knowledgeable, logical and consistent candidate up there bar none, no one else is even close sure some of his views are a little extremist but isn't that what the checks and balances of congress and the senate are for?

At least he does things the right way...

He runs for President every 4 years as a novelty. he could never get more than 15% support from the national electorate.

In other words he has no shot to be nominated and obviously elected. We are wasting our breath talking about him.

Smart guy........will never be President.

so I think i'm only going to be at my job for a few more weeks.

Let me run it by you and you guys tell me what you think:

-promised a raise after 3 months, didn't get it
-asked for a raise after we lost a man and I carried the workload, denied because I left an hour early Labor Day weekend when there was no work on the shelves and half the company was out
-2010 we had a record setting year financially but they took raises away from the company because the forecasted a bad year
-They didn't pay us the day before Thanksgiving like they always do and they direct deposited on friday without telling anybody in the whole company
-2011 forecast a good year for 2012, but rumor has it they are not only taking away raises but their small bonuses that they at least threw at us last year. But I have a feeling they won't tell us until the week of Christmas

I think im going to go out with a bang here. Let them lats minute **** me like that. We are all already underpaid at our positions. Im pretty amped. I don't think theres anyway I can bite my lip and if I go, im ****ting on all of em publically

Agreed.....but that makes me sad, because I honestly believe he's the best candidate up there atm...in terms of whats good for the country not what's electable.

I would advise against ****ting on em all publicly, it's hard enough to get a job right now without black listing yourself, that said I support your decision to look for a job that would treat you better....that's so very capitalistic of you :)

Don't quit unless you have something else set up. Momentary satisfaction isn't worth it when you are hurting yourself in the long run. And all it takes is one bad report from a previous employer to ruin a good job opportunity down the road.

You have to handle these things tactfully.

I wouldn't want to see my buddy in one of those "Occupy Wall Street" demonstrations because he's got no job.

Plus it would take away some of the joy of beating you this week.

Another good point, never understood why people would voluntarily quit without something else lined up...it's just irresponsible.

id try and kill them with kindness, well at least be as reasonable as possible. tell them where youre coming from. if they still dont give you a raise, look for a new job, get the new job, then quit. dont walk out without a plan b.

I've read "The Virtue of Selfishness" but that was a while ago. I would recommend anything by Machiovelli...especially 'The Prince". Its a very, very tough read though. Lots of run on sentances.
