The haters say Kobe Bryant’s lost a step, but his shoe game is still
as deadly as ever. The Nike Kobe VII System Supreme drops December 22,
and features customizable, interchangeable ankle and midsole support
inserts. The Kobe VII’s two options give players the chance to maximize
their game: whether it’s “Attack Fast” or “Attack Strong.” The
difference? The Fast insert (above in Laker gold) has a Phylon midsole
with Nike Zoom units in the forefoot and heel, providing lightweight
responsiveness and a sock-like fit (no traditional tongue). The Strong
offers a full-length Cushlon midsole and power-stretch material that
provides comfort and breathability.</p>

The VIIs also feature a raised skin pattern meant to embody Kobe’s
predator-like instincts, and special graphic patterns will live “under
the skin” in special colorways, which we’ve been told will be in the
form of the Leopard, Great White Shark, Poison Dart Frog and Grey Wolf.
And, in an interesting twist from Nike, you can pick up Kobe’s new shoe
at two different price points: $180 for theNike Zoom Kobe VII Supreme
System, which comes with both Fast and Strong inserts, and$140 for
theNike Zoom Kobe VII System, without the Attack Strong insert.</p>

If we win out, yes, because we would hold whatever tiebreaker over the cowboys if we had the same record to take the division. if we DONT sweep the boys, it depends what the other contenders for the wild card spot do.

Right now, we just want to sweep the boys, and make sure at minimum that we have the same record as them to win the NFCbEast</P>

Well, yea but it doesnt change the fact of "winning out" gets us in.
If we sweep the boys, we assume we have a better record at that point, so...stands to reason.</P>

Know your Giants?

Joined Giants as green 20 year old drafted in the 27th round. Quickly won starting role, held it for 13 seasons...Excellent downfield blocker,classic pass protector,fast,mobile....All-NFL eight straight years.....Played in nine Pro Bowl games...Named NFL's Lineman of the Year in his fourth season....And at 6'3"- 255lbs, would probably still kick *** even in today's NFL.

Pt Pleasant board walk is cool.Years, years ago, I made a big mistake and booked us in a hotel in Asbury Park. Oh my god...my wife was freaking out---used condom on the carpet. Hotel reminded me of the shining. We're walking to the beach and every place is either burnt out or boarded up. We finally get to the beach and there's graffetti everywhere. My son and I are having a ball in the water and my wife and daughter were like--we NEED to leave NOW. lmao. We high tailed it out of there & stayed with some friends in Flemington for a few days. Her ***** friend was so pissed at me for taking the family there she did not speak to me all weekend. How the **** was I suppossed to know it was a **** hole?

THERRRRRRRRRE BLOOOD ON MY HANDS LIKE THE BLOOOOOODDDD IN YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU

i hear the long island hooker killer sings that song as hes slaying up ho's... coincidence? I think not
</p>

Pretty sure that in my 28 years I've never been to long island. and i've lived in NY my entire life lol.</p>

Really? Never been to Jone's Beach at least? Good fishing off montauk, we chartered a trip out there went way out into the Atlantic--lot's of blues, albacore tuna and even got some Mako sharks out there.</p>

Nope, never been.
I always went to LBI in Jersey for my beach fix. To do this day I still love it there. I know ppl say anything on the jersey shore is gross or lame. But I'm a sucker for a real beach town.</p>

na man thats just Seaside really...

everything else you can't complain about

I love Jenks in point pleasant, they mix it all up in there. They have club nights, band nights, sometimes both in the same night.

Wildwood and AC are good times, LBI and Cape May are like family spots
Last time I was at point pleasant-a storm came in, the waves were at least 5 ft over your head standing at chest high water. It was a struggle just to stay in long enough to take a piss. lol. My son and I are having a ball in the water and my wife and daughter were like--we NEED to leave NOW. lmao. We high tailed it out of there &amp; stayed with some friends in Flemington for a few days. Her ***** friend was so pissed at me for taking the family there she did not speak to me all weekend. How the **** was I suppossed to know it was a **** hole?

Know your Giants? Joined Giants as green 20 year old drafted in the 27th round. Quickly won starting role, held it for 13 seasons...Excellent downfield blocker,classic pass protector,fast,mobile....All-NFL eight straight years.....Played in nine Pro Bowl games...Named NFL's Lineman of the Year in his fourth season....And at 6'3"- 255lbs, would probably still kick *** even in today's NFL. Who is this man????</P>

It's funny, cuz as soon as I turn off the Garden State, it's like.."UGHHH MANAHAWKIN?!!? I ****ING HATE MANAHAWKIN!!!" (just because youre close to LBI, but still15 mins out hahaha)
And then it's "ahhhhhh the beach.....me gusta..."

Justin Tuck (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3286/justin-tuck) talks a lot about how he “hates” the Cowboys and that their stadium is a dump. Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3170/demarcus-ware) has a theory about this (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/dallas-demarcus-ware-giants-tuck-jealous-a-cowboy-article-1.988449#ixzz1fxFFbFhn).</p>

“He says that because maybe he wants to play here,” Ware said via the New York Daily News.
“Everybody wants to play for the Cowboys. If I wasn’t playing for the
Cowboys I would call it that, too, because I want to play for them.”</p>

The Cowboys gave the media plenty to chew on Wednesday. Cornerback Mike Jenkins (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4673/mike-jenkins) also called Giants running back Brandon Jacobs (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3146/brandon-jacobs) a “bully.”</p>

The Giants have generally pushed the Cowboys around during the Tom
Coughlin era. Since the 2007 playoffs, the Giants are 5-2 against
Dallas.</p>

New York needs to make it 6-2 on Sunday night or the NFC East race will essentially be over.</p>

Regarding the man JPP:

"He's so raw," Giants veteran defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/3674/rocky-bernard)
says with a smile, "that in our meetings when he first got here, our
coaches would say, 'Hey, we need you to line up in the B gap or line up
in the five technique' and he literally had to count out the spots to
figure it out. Most players already know the terminology. But it was all
new to him because he's so new to football, period."</p>

"But that only happened during his rookie year, right?" Bernard is asked.</p>

"Well, this year, too," Bernard says, bursting into laughter again.
"Sometimes we kid him and say, 'Man, you must know more than you let
on' because of how well he plays. Usually people who haven't played that
much don't make it to this level at all. And if they do make it, they
don't play at the level he's playing at. So it's a credit to him. He's
just so, you know …"</p>

</p>

That is crazy. lol</p>

</p>

That is crazy. lol</p>

Tom Coughlin---Article yesterday was saying that he should stay in NY. I think that he will be here again next year, I really think so.

there was also an article about how he should be extended the day after the Pats win...

He needs a run of wins here. If we lose this week we'll see this writer change his tune

I suppose if we win the division he'll probably stay. If we don't, he definately needs to go.</P>

Giants at Cowboys</p>

Florio’s take: If anyone thinks that the league
wasn’t bracing for a lockout that would last into November, look no
farther than the fact that the annual series between the big-market
Giants and the big-country Cowboys didn’t begin until December 11. It’s
do-or-die for the Giants, and the Cowboys will be happy to oblige.</p>

Florio’s pick: Cowboys 30, Giants 28.</p>

Rosenthal’s take: My head says the Cowboys are the
better, healthier team. My preseason pick says the Giants are going to
win the division (with the Cowboys as a wild card). I’m stubbornly
sticking with Big Blue. The Cowboys love drama and there won’t be any
drama left in this division if Dallas wins.</p>

Rosenthal’s pick: Giants 24, Cowboys 21.</p>

We argued two things: We WOULDNT spend that money considering the contract we have and that there was no where for him realistically to play. You tried disputing that and thats what we faught with you about

Peyton Manning's $28 million option bonus is due March 8, four days before the start of the 2012 league year.</p>
</div>
<div class="impact">
The Colts and Manning could agree to push back the deadline
past the start of the new league year so a trade could be worked out.
ESPN's Adam Schefter says "it will not be a surprise" if Manning
"navigates" his way out of Indianapolis.

<div class="report">

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi believes the Colts can indeed
trade Peyton Manning if they get Manning to rework his $28 million
option bonus.</p>
</div>
<div class="impact">
"There are a lot of ways to get around this, but clearly
re-doing the contract is the first step," said Lombardi, a former NFL
GM. Manning's $28 million option is due right around the start of the
new league year, so the Colts will need quick cooperation from both
Peyton and another team in order to pull this off, particularly if
Manning won't delay the payment. Lombardi suspects the Colts will try
to trade him out of the conference to an NFC team, suggesting the
Redskins. "Lot of money, lot of availability," said Lombardi. "And oh,
by the way, they really need a quarterback badly. They need a
signature face on their franchise."

yea, but MH...we're not talking about Brett Favre...or Kurt Warner....we're talking about PEYTON MANNING(6'5", 230 lbs...laser rocket arm), who showed NO SIGNS of slowing down his HOF pace at all last season.
I find it hard to believe the Colts are even considering cutting ties. It's not Peyton's fault that they had no backup plan, and that they dont know how to play defense....
I just assume this team toughs it out and improves their defense while keeping Peyton as the beast that he is...there's no reason to do otherwise imo.

If he's healthy I think the Colts will keep him and maybe trade the pick.<FONT color=#0000ff> If not, no one would want him anyway.</FONT></P>

</P>

Meaning if he's not healthy?
i dont know man....I think alot of teams would still be trying to get him if they knew he might only be out a month or 2.
What reason is there to believe he won't be ready to go next season??</P>

</P>

This is a neck injury with nerve damage. If he's not back near 100% by mini camps there is every reason to think he'll never be.</P>

So if he can show that he's back,the Colts will keep him. If he's still not back, I doubt any team will give up much for him.</P>

Peyton Manning's $28 million option bonus is due March 8, four days before the start of the 2012 league year.</p>
</div>
<div class="impact">
The Colts and Manning could agree to push back the deadline
past the start of the new league year so a trade could be worked out.
ESPN's Adam Schefter says "it will not be a surprise" if Manning
"navigates" his way out of Indianapolis.
</div>
<div class="report">

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi believes the Colts can indeed
trade Peyton Manning if they get Manning to rework his $28 million
option bonus.</p>
</div>
<div class="impact">
</div>

It would be terrible if he went to the Skins. But it would be cool to watch the bros play twice a year.
Imo-Peyton is worth every bit of that bonus. No one knows that better than the colts. They made the deal, now it's time to honor it.

Trading for Peyton isn't like trading for any other QB. With him comes his own offensive scheme. He wouldn't be the type to adapt to another since he is practically the OC in Indy when he's on the field.</P>

I say he retires as a Colt, even if they draft Luck. In my view they would be better off trading the pick, drafting a QB in the 2nd or 3rd and draft the kid from LSU. Their defense is a nightmare.</P>

</P>

yea, but MH...we're not talking about Brett Favre...or Kurt Warner....we're talking about PEYTON MANNING(6'5", 230 lbs...laser rocket arm), who showed NO SIGNS of slowing down his HOF pace at all last season.

I sure hope so. Like LT said, he should be a Colt until he retires. They could trade the pick. They would get a kings ransom. Then again if something happens to Peyton then they will regret not taking Luck forever. They could take Luck and let him sit behind Peyton ala Rodgers/Favre. It's an incredibly tough decision that I'm glad I don't have to make. Peyton is the Colts. He deserves that money. The whole reason they have a new stadium is because of him and that Superbowl.

They also have alot of key players to worry about as well. Wayne and Freeney to name a couple.

Chris Paul can hit a wide open 15 ft jumpshot for starters.
Is better than Rondo in every aspect of the game.
He believes he can get CP3 to sign a long term extension.
He feels that with CP3 maybe he can get a year or two extra out of his core guys.
CP3 is arguably the best point guard in the game.

Colts should trade back to like the 10 slot, theyd get a 2nd rounder this year and a 1st rounder next year, at the bare minimum. At the 10 slot they can draft Robert Griffin or Matt Barkley and with the extra picks they can put more bodies around peyton. Win win situation.</P>

By the way the LSU kid(tyrann mathieu) isn't draft eligible this year...</P>

<div class="report">

The Hornets are "redoubling their research" on a trade centered around Rajon Rondo for Chris Paul.</p></div>
<div class="impact">The Hornets are unsatisfied with the offers the team has received thus far, and the team is doing its homework on Boston's offer. <font color="#0000ff">The Celtics are dangling Rondo, restricted free agent Jeff Green and two first round picks in exchange for a CP3 rental.</font> Danny Ainge has been relentless in his pursuit of Paul, but Wojnarowski also cites the Lakers as a possibility and reports that Kobe Bryant and Paul have spoken by phone this week. These rumors aren't going away until he ultimately gets dealt out of New Orleans.

I don't think they could get a better deal than that anywhere. CP3 is on record however saying he won't sign a deal anywhere but NY.
</div>I don't get Danny Ainge's thinking here.
Well...

Chris Paul can hit a wide open 15 ft jumpshot for starters.
Is better than Rondo in every aspect of the game.
He believes he can get CP3 to sign a long term extension.
He feels that with CP3 maybe he can get a year or two extra out of his core guys.
CP3 is arguably the best point guard in the game.

i dunno

i actually think Rondo is a better facilitator as a true PG and def plays better D

Before Eli, Ole Miss hadn't had a decent QB into the NFL since Archie.</P>

etc, etc.</P>

Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez and John David Booty have absolutely zero bearing on how well Matt Barkley will play.</P>

</P>

I'm more questioning USC than I am the players themselves. What is it about them that makes everyone say tehy are ready to go? I'm just saying...they havnt exactly been right very often about them....
Then again, how many QBs come into the league and have ANY impact?? not many...</P>

</P>

They run an NFL offense with NFL talent on it.</P>

USC is the 33rd team in the NFL</P>

ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the Knicks are "considering" an offer
that would send Amare Stoudemire to New Orleans as part of a deal for
Chris Paul.

lol

that gets listed as one of the WORST rumors ever

I could not agree more. lol

Hey, if I push the draft back to 8pm est for fantasy hoops would that be good for u?

Yeah, that's fine. I get home from work around 5:30. When you doing the draft order?

I totally agree. I just didn't want to get into it with Matt.

Rose and D Will are right there as well. It's hard to pick thee best in my eyes.

Just depends on what type of offense you run I guess. If you asked the coaches it would probably be split up pretty good.

Christian Ponder (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6433/christian-ponder) missed his second straight practice on Thursday with a hip pointer. Offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave admitted he didn’t know (http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/blogs/135184348.html) if Ponder would play and expressed concern about his status, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

“He didn’t look too good walking [Wednesday],”Musgrave said.</p>

once the league is filled i'll do the order

A guy made a good point that you'd need 24 starting centers and that there probably isn't that many. It was a good point, i put two starting centers thinking that we'd have only 20 teams. I think its a big difference. Same amount of starters over all though

and max wavers so that people can't just pick players up and cut them daily since we're doing wins and losses by points for the week

The New Jersey Nets (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/njn/)
won't have new jerseys for their final season in New Jersey, but they
will have a new logo to go on their old jerseys, one that celebrates the
35 years the team spent in New Jersey following time in New York,
before they develop new jerseys for their move next year to New York.</p>

Whew.</p>

With more accuracy and fewer annoying plays on words, the New York Times (via Pro Basketball Talk (http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/07/the-nets-have-a-new-logo-for-their-last-year-in-jersey?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=twitter)) sums up the addition (http://offthedribble.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/12/06/heres-your-logo-whats-your-hurry/):</p>
<blockquote>

The Nets will unveil a special logo as early as Wednesday
to coincide with the announcement of the 2011-2012 season schedule. The
logo is actually pretty snappy. In the center is a tri-color basketball
with the Nets name written in 1970's era script, an homage to the
team's A.B.A. past. The number 35 in the middle. Below are the years
1977 and 2012, bookends to the team's often-withered years in the Garden
State. A tiny outline of the state is at the bottom in white.</p>

It's an open question is whether true blue Nets fans in New Jersey
will want to shell out $20, $30 or more for merchandise produced by a
team that is leaving town in the spring. The Nets, however, feel that it
is the right thing to do.</p>

<a name="remaining-content"></a></p>

"It will be our farewell moniker," said Fred Mangione, the team's
chief marketing officer. "As we go out, we want to go out the right
way."</p></blockquote>
<p id="yui_3_4_1_1_1323378303846_442">"Jersey strong, Brooklyn ready,"
though? That would be tough to take, even if New Jersey fans haven't
exactly made the Nets part of their stately pride, so to speak, as the
team has moved from East Rutherford to Newark.</p>
