Since the holiday season is in full effect and all this weak Christmas music is all around so I figured id bless my hip hop heads with a little Christmas Music

Run DMC- Christmas In Hollis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR07r0ZMFb8)

Snoop, Nate Dogg, and The Dogg Pound- Santa Claus Goes To The Ghetto (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVkg5FM59NA)

Tha Dogg Pound- I Wish

Kurtis Blow - Christmas Rappin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFtA7IHZgzw)

lmao, thanks Kase man! When I had my radio show back in college I used to do a whole Hip Hop Christmas episode each year. The 1st year I did it cause I was sick of hearing all the crap in Target and places like that, people LOVED it and it was getting done each season
Kase was a serving tunes disc jockey aka Howard Stern in College? Cool. Where was this?

I cannot take any bad news about our team going into this game tomorrow that I already have unsure feeling about.

then don't PM me
I texted you--will pm if you prefer. Like a car wreck, I gotta know.I so wish that we are not going to hand Dallas this division on a decorated silver plater?im finding it hard to get excited about the jets game. even if we make the playoffs, we are not good enough.

It wound up becoming a 3hr show (1hr straight music and banter, 1hr with my co-host and taking calls, having walk-ins, music, etc, and 1hr rolling straight solo) mainly old school and underground hip hop with a TON of sports.

It was like if Max Kellermans old show on ESPN radio and The Throwback At Noon with Mr Cee on Hot 97 had a love child and Howard Stern was the nanny, LOL

i think that interview was in 08. ill give floyd credit. he finally did fight most of the fighters ra was bringing up, be he waited until after all were out of their prime like margerito, mosley, or after they went up or down in weight. its like theres a set of rules if you want to fight floyd.

As everyone knows Ill be getting LOUD and starting the chants left and right.

It may technically be a jets home game cause the stadium is green, but this is OUR stadium and Im gonna act accordingly

Much rather face Atlanta. The dumbest team in the NFL. Have one of the best RB's in the league and they go pass happy last night. they deserve to lose. I know their coach has turned around the program (supposedly) but Smith is a dumbass too. He was the DC for Jax that had the great idea of letting Tom Brady complete everything in front of them and died a slow death in the playoffs. (Brady had one incompletion in the entire game) He also went for it on his own 29 late in the game earlier this season to lose a game.

If we make the playoffs and have a choice who to play Id def take 'Sooo Cold In The D' Detroit

Other than Megatron and often injured Pettigrew, The D's team really doesnt scare me. No RB, 1 WR, a QB made of Glass. Yes their front 7 is pretty brutal, but thats what winter football is all about, our line vs yours

ATL has Turner, Rowdy Roddy and Julio Jones. 3 guys that I REALLY dont want to play. True our guys did covering both WRs last week, but Julio and Roddy are of a different caliber.

Despite what they say about Romo being fine, it will be tough to throw the ball accurately with that hand injury.

Its a strange view I know, but I think the TC injury and his refusal to have an MRI might just motivate the team to put it all on the line this week. Something they haven't done in do or die games in the past few years.

The only way we play Atlanta is if the Lions lose to the Packers. Considering AR will play a quarter or a half at most I don't see that happening. Atlanta plays Tampa Bay at home so they will win that won for sure. Even if they lost they still have the 6 spot locked up. Plus it's going to be cold. If he bangs it on the ground or on another helmet or gets it his anyway it's going to hurt every time. It will affect his velocity and accuracy.

Great point about TC. I think you are right about that. We have shown up in some big games recently. The players know what happened last year as well in our stadium. I don't think it's going to be close. The D played great against the Jets and they will carry that momentum.

I also like the way Fewell called that game--he said last week that he was going to simplify things. It worked.

Jan 8 #5 vs #4 seed Sun

If we beat Dallas , that puts us on the Sunday slot. What time slot do you think they will put us in?
Probably the early game. Do you know the AFC times? If the Broncos and Steelers play Sunday then we would be the early game and they would be the late game.
I think Broncs / Steelers will be late Sat. with Cinci and Houston on Sunday.

That puts us either 1pm or 4pm, but I'm almost certain we play on Sunday?

The 2 most important games of our season thus far were @ Dallas and vs the Jets. I think we came with intensity the whole game and played with the fire we need to. I will never understand the team that showed up for the Skins game between those 2. When everything is on the line we play the way we should most of the time. Kitna destroyed us last year in NY and I don't think the team has forgotten that. Everything will be laid out on the line this Sunday. We can't beat ourselves and we have to score TD's in the redzone.

Personally, Im leaning towards saving the money for playoffs. I know its not a guaranteed win this weekend, but it would devestate me if we won this weekend and then I couldnt swing it for the playoffs

Rex Ryan had nothing more to say on his tense post-game exchange with Giants running back Brandon Jacobs. On the field after the Giants' win, Jacobs yelled at Ryan, “Time to shut up, fat boy!” Jacobs claims Ryan then tried to come after him “the way his old man went after (Kevin) Gilbride," at which point Jacobs said he yelled "you’re talking to the wrong Giant, because I will kick your (butt)!”
On Saturday, Ryan called it a "private conversation" and stood by that today. The NFL will not look into the exchange.
"I talked about that after the game, and I said it was a private conversation that we had, and I really have nothing else to add to it," Ryan said.

Plus imagine we lose this weekend (which won't happen) but you would have spent the money just to be pissed and then no playoffs. It's a win/win to watch at your bar this weekend. Save your paper and hope for the playoffs. You can always see a regular season Cowboys game.

We are talking about PLAYOFFS!?

Damn you and your sound logic, you make a great point Lando

...While I've never seen a Giants-cows game, I've also never attended a playoff game
Ask the Scarf Soldiers if they want to get 2 round trip tickets to NY for New Years Eve and the game then me and wifey can come. I'm sure they will be fine with that. I'll check prices [;)]
If we are discussing this for real next week, I have contacts for you guy's......and LT is now a member of the Scarf Soldier Platoon. MY bro-in law got me a beauty NYG scarf for xmas.

Still blame Eli for that McCann pick. Nicks was clearly looking for the back shoulder catch away from coverage and Eli threw into coverage. (Nicks had a back shoulder catch just like that in the prev. Dal/NYG game)

Everybody was killing Nicks for stopping but he was definately reading coverage correctly in looking for the back shoulder.

the girl i been talking to at work, the dallas fan (ugh)...we were counting our atm machines this morning, and I jokingly say;
"So when the cowboys lose this weekend, if you need to be consoled after experiencing that kind of disappointment, I'll be more than happy to help you through that...if you dont mind some teasing and trashtalk at the saem time..."

she says "WHEN they lose?!??!..."

"I talked about that after the game, and I said it was a private conversation that we had, and I really have nothing else to add to it," Ryan said.

a big bellied coach with a big mouth - i lol'd

have to be honest that was one of the most filling regular season games i've experienced as a Giants fan

What could be better than a follow up win vs Dallas to get in the playoffs

Have to be honest - JPP for D-MVP?

I can't really think of anybody else except D-Ware (no, not DJ Ware Pizz) but they say his sacks are just stats, they haven't been timely at all..

I've come to a realization which actually makes me sick and will get moorehead edgy (thats the positive). I think with Tuck seemingly more healthy and JPP being the monster he is - that our season really comes down to the contribution of one more guy - Osi.

I think if Osi can come back and be the pass rush specialist he is for us that it would really make a huge difference for our success..

soooo i was in 3 fantasy championships and romo was my QB for all three... ****sucker doesn't even record a stat

I luckily won 1 of em, would of def won another if I had a QB, the last one it wouldn't of mad a difference...

so my combined buy-in wa 1040, between splits, wins, and all of that I won 1370. $330 profit

if anybody is interested in a fantasy playoffs let me know. $50 bucks a team - me blondie and her friend did it last year and we came up with a really nice format for it. If your interested let me know

are you talking next year?
yea, Tuck was so diasppointing this year. I hate how injured our team has been. Guys who should have missed time, played hurt, and it did nothing but hurt our D.
I'm also fairly confident with our secondary once it's healthy. We gotta replace Ross though. I cant handle him anymore. I feel that once Prince matures a little bit, that with Webster, TT, and Prince, we have a solid core of CBs. Phillips is showing flashes of better-ness, which is good, and Rolle I can't really complain about 90% of the time....

id rather not take any snaps away from jpp.

he'd be taking them away from tuck probably cuz neither of them can stay healthy. one of them would have to come from the other side of the ball

his *** will be giving breathers and then on passing downs he'll either be giving Canty or Tolly a break and then move Tuck down to DT

MattMeyerBud
12-28-2011, 11:48 AM
Don't give up on Sinorice either Matt.

he can still contribute.

the difference is that right now our defense is so inexperienced and injured as positions, that a supreme pass rush will make the difference. That is something Osi CAN do well

Trust me I hate to admit it too

From what position? Should we bench JPP on passing downs?

no but we should put tuck at DT - like we will if he comes back...

please don't start saying that if Osi is healthy he won't be in on passing downs - it would be one of your worst all-time arguments

and THATS saying something

"At some point," Romo says, "you're either good enough or you're not."

According to pro-football-reference.com, there had been 71 previous
quarterback performances since 1960 that featured at least 300 passing
yards, four touchdowns and a passer rating of 140.0. Those quarterbacks
played on the winning team on all 71 occasions.

Romo became the lone exception. Quarterbacks who put up those eye-popping stats are now 71-1.

I've always said there was a problem.
We've had that discussion on here before actually. Fans of smaller market teams complain that larger markets take all the players by throwing money at them. And it's true.
But it's ownership's ultimate decision to spend or not spend money in free agency or resigning players.
teams need to learn a better balance. they want to make ridiculous profit by keeping the money they pull in, but arent willing to put butts in seats by bringing in good players.
I'll be honest, I hate that awesome seats at yankee games are in the hundreds of dollars, but i'm willing to pay a little bit for "ok" seats because of the team we have assembled over the years.

your average fan is ******ed. they want all the best players on their team. but ask them to pay more than $15 for a ticket, and they'll tell you to **** off. Aaaaaand that's why some teams will never be competitive.

A Canadian and an American were hunting in Canadian woods when a Mexican runs across the field and the
Canadian shoots him in the back and kills him. "You can't do that!" cried the American.

"No, no, it's legal here in Canada " replies the Canadian.

Later that night the American goes and buys some beer and puts it on the roof of his truck to open the door.

Just then a Mexican runs by, grabs the beer, and runs away.

The American thinks "No problem" and he shoots him in the back and kills him.

As he is getting his beer the police come and arrest him. "But I thought it was legal to shoot Mexicans here in Canada !" protests the American.

"Well yeah," says the cop, "but you can't use bait."

Damm-he was a no show? You have plenty of time to prepare for his ribbing at the wedding.

Who thinks Romo's hand will be an issue Sunday? If it's not, our defense just needs to get a hit on the hand early and it will be throbbing the rest of the game.

yea but i'll have my clown shoes on for him

plus the cold weather in the swamp should help swelling it up a bit again. if his hands good, i pray we blitz and blitz often.

HAVE TO HIT ROMO

This is why I say we need Osi... we need to put Kiwi, Osi, JPP, and Tuck's hand down on passing downs and go to town.

You guy's remember my friend(Matt --you met him) that was ejected from his car @ 75 mph when it crashed into a solid rock formation on the highway last August? He fractured his skull.

He's making a remarkable recovery. Headaches are completely gone. Sleep patterns are back to normal. Memmory is restored. Physical therapy going great...Back in the gym training and hitting 315 x7 for deadlifts(he only weigh 148 lbs)

Anyway-he was helping me tile our master bath shower last night and my wife comes in to admire the progress. She asked about the location that I chose for the designer tile(random-design tiles-set in no particular pattern) after I explained my artistic flare, she turned to our friend.

He shrugged and said" Don't ask me, I was the one thrown out of the vehicle on my head" hahaha. lmao. That was great!

had nothing to hide and said he and Williams did a low-key dinner, not
wanting to set off any kind of firestorm. This development is hardly
surprising knowing all of the rumors involving D-Will and D-12 wanting
to play together. Expect the rumors and sightings to continue until
Howard is moved or signs an extension.

I mean I guess its still a possibility

I talked to my buddy's dad that is the nets announcer the other day. He said no way Orlando was ever going to trade Howard BEFORE the all star game because its in Orlando. They still may do it for Brook Lopez. Their season will be screwed by then anyway

The Lakers have won 9 straight games against the Knicks, six of which were double-digit wins. Kobe Bryant (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/110/kobe-bryant) has averaged 33.4 points in those games and has hit for 27 or more points in 8 of those contests.

"I enjoy going against Melo, because I always win," Bryant said with a grin.

"Kobe be lying. Kobe ain't hurt," Anthony said with a laugh. "I know him."
