The Venetian has a river that runs through it...with gondola's

like through the actual building...it's crazy...I can't wait to go again, I did a million things and there are at least 10 million things I didn't have time to do..and I was there for 4 days.

wow thats awesome.

I'm staying at Mandalay bay, and they have one of those underground tunnel aquarium things in it. And they also created a beach outside the hotel. Like, they made a mock ocean with a sandy beach, but it's just a monstrous wave pool lol. looks pretty awesome

Sounds perfect for leisure diving?

I gotta see how deep it is first =P
Im sure they have multiple pools should I feel the need to satisfy my liesure diving itch lol

here's the Mandalay Bay Beach/Pool/Thingy (http://gaming.unlv.edu/centennial/web/mandalay.jpg)

By the way when you are out there definitely try to get to Center Cut (http://lasvegasblog.harrahs.com/las-vegas-restaurant/first-look-center-cut-steakhouse-at-flamingo/) for dinner it was amazing.

No problem, as far as tables I played at the Cosmopoliton the Venetian O-Sheas (which is getting knocked down soon so you should hit it) and a few others but my favorite tables were in Magaritaville, it's kinda small, but it's nice there is a bar right there and the waitress's are in bikini's ...it's a "party" atmosphere instead of a gambling atmosphere....it's kind of hard to explain but if you just wanna sit down with 200-300$ and have fun and free drinks for a while I found that was the best spot...Pai gow or Craps is perfect for that.

only problem is that's on the other end of the strip from Mandalay Bay.

oh also...the Taxi's from the airport...I've never seen anything like it...it's like NYC time 20... the line went from the exit of the terminal to the back of the airport and back to the terminal 3 times....might wanna get a limo/pickup.

I dont even gamble, man....
few of my friends do(some better than others lol), and it sounds weird, but i like watching. I mean it's not super entertaining or anything, but...i just like it lol.

We actually got a few SUV rentals for the week, I think my buddy said we can pick up them up at the airport(i hope)

We decided to do that because there are 8 of us, it wasnt expensive, and there are a few day trip type things we're going to do.

I hate fake football fans, there is a supposed Jets fan in my department and he's whining about the trade (which is fine it's a stupid trade lol) but then he goes ...

"I guess we can't expect to be better then fifth"

so I go..."huh? what do you mean 5th?"

to which he say...oh I mean 6th sorry?

....I say..."George do you know how many teams are in your division?" he then tries to back out and say he meant 5th in the conference...so I ask him whats wrong with going to the playoffs? he starts bumbling around I ask him to name the teams in his division...he can't...I tell him he's not qualified to critique trades then lol.

lol.

I have no problem with casual fans, what I have a problem with is fans who know little to nothing about their team but ALSO feel the need to comment about how good or bad something is based on some headline on yahoo news they saw real quick.

he was telling me how great Sanchez was before too...like honestly...how do you make statements like that when you have to know you don't know what you are talking about....he knows I go to games, he knows I'm a football nut...why does he want to make himself look like a fool?

Actually I think this is a good move by the Jets. They can have a 10 play or so package for Tebow. It makes their offense much more dynamic. It actually makes sense to me football-wise.

Remember the Brad Smith effect on the Jets offense.

I don't have a Vagina, didn't bring a Vagina and the Vagina I found there was too annoying for me to drag around everywhere I went for the Vagina's benefits....so no I didn't ride it :P

but it was still pretty awesome to walk along side of it and hear the singing....plus the place smelt amazing...that and the river separated it from every other casino I went to while I was out there, each one of them has it's own unique feel it's really awesome out there.

I know you don't believe in this junk (neither do I as you know) but assuming we did...the only good reason I can see for bringing tebow is is because he's a good "Locker Room" guy....he could straighten out the team I guess? they were all fighting each other last year remember?

ehh....he's a versatile player, but it doesnt mean he's instantly going to be an impact. he should be a TE/H-Back type player....if they are using him only ocassionally, the play becomes an easier read. cuz you know 90% of the time, he wont be throwing it.

idk...doesnt affect me, the jets do not matter to me, i just love wathcing their fans squirm.

Until Sanchez sucks...which he's been known to do and then there is a mid-season QB controversy, those are always great for a teams success.

How is Tebow a better version of Smith?

Tebow can't do what Smith was capable of doing on the field. You had to respect Brad Smith's arm. Being he was a college qb. He has the speed of a receiver, and when given the chance to run the wildcat he was very dangerous out of the back field.

I think this move is nothing more then to get some hype towards the Jets...

A lot of Jets fans seem pissed. They should be.

Tim Tebow being coached by the Anti-Christ. Judgement Day may be coming soon. At least we will be the last SB champs ever.

Actually I think this is a good move by the Jets. They can have a 10 play or so package for Tebow. It makes their offense much more dynamic. It actually makes sense to me football-wise.

Remember the Brad Smith effect on the Jets offense.

I know you don't believe in this junk (neither do I as you know) but assuming we did...the only good reason I can see for bringing tebow is is because he's a good "Locker Room" guy....he could straighten out the team I guess? they were all fighting each other last year remember?

I'm telling you Daven this is a great move for the Jets. He's a much better version of Brad Smith and Smith was great for their offense.

This instantly makes the Jets offense more dynamic.

Tebow for all his faults is still a better passer than Smith. he also is a unique runner. He's actually a power runner and would offer a unique challenge on short yardage.

Brad Smith could never have beaten the Steelers in the playoffs. Tebow has huge flaws in his game, but as a compliment in special packages, he could really help that offense.

And when (its inevitable) Sanchez has a bad game, the Tebow chants will start, and it WILL divide the locker room. Im sure Holmes wants no part of the wild cat either. piece of crap.

Not Wildcat. Just unique packages that Tebow can run. The guy is a power running QB who offers a lot of confusion for defenses. Just look how tough it was for Pittsburgh (one of the best defenses in football) to adjust.

Now put that in a package and bring it into the game at differnt times. All during a game where you have had to play a traditional offense. Thats a huge burden on defenses.

Yes but that was with Tebow playing 60 mins. When he comes in, teams will know what to expect.

And lets not act like he put up 400 yards vs the steelers. Broncos offense had 8 total yards the first quarter.

But thats my point. you can prepare for Tebow when its all you have to face, but when its a change of pace, its a lot tougher.

its going to do more damage to the offense than help. Sanchez will say the right things im sure, but it HAS to eat him up.

Let alone the circus that he brings with him to the already made carnival

The happiest guy in NY right now.....

Eli Manning.

meaning what? like shift of the focus of attention? i dont get it
Yeah--like if Eli even cares, which he probably does not, it would appear that the Rex Ryan Circus will be a little more animated this coming season.

How exactly is the foot loving Sexy Rexy and the 8X father Cromartie going to blend with the religious good guy Tim Teebow? I can't wait for this one.

haha and Cromartie flipped on twitter yesterday saying how the Jets don't need or want Tebow

Listen man...i wasn't the best football player obviously....but i played LB in high school, and my only goal was simple. If I closed in on a RB or TE, I was going to hit him so hard that his girlfriend felt it. Yes, I wanted him to feel it. If he got hurt, oh well....it was clean....it's part of football....

whether it was Shockey or some bench warmer, I'm glad someone opened their mouth and did the right thing.

There is no place in professional sports for bounties and trying to injury key players for the opposing teams. To me it shows the lack of integrity, lack of confidence in your teammates and coaches to beat the opposition fair and square, andis thea cowardly way to play the sport.

I have no problem with a hard hitting but clean game. Injuries are part of the game, yes, but offering incentives to have a player knocked out or carted off are 100% wrong.

This is the answer. I was shocked by the penalties to the Saints coaches and GMbut it sends an absolute message that the league want no more headhunters. No more Gary Fenciks and John Lynch's.

They are trying to split hairs here. They want violence without intent to injure. Its a tough tightrope to walk, but they are trying like hell.

honestly, i would think that the penalties would of been ALOT less severe had they not been told to stop it and there was no cover up...

I relaly feel like thats the worst of it...

my question is, **** all the coaches for letting this happen - but wheres the players getting suspended and NFLPA saying? I haven't heard a peep from them

We have a wedding in our Gazebo on May 26th.* I have already power washed and stained the Gazebo, planted a new weeping Cherry in the front garden and transplanted two Rhodies, completely raked the entire lawn, cleaned out all the gardens, got the stump from the dead Pear tree removed from the front yard.* All before April 1st.

I'm good!**** real good!!!!

Good for you, you're ahead of the curve. It's nuts...I cannot recall the last time we had these temps in March, and it started over 2 weeks ago in early March. Last winter at this time, we still had feet of snow on the ground and were using roof rakes on our homes. I saw some plants starting to bud on Saturday and some buds on trees Wed.Who's wedding ?

My stepdaughter.* My wife is obsessed with this wedding.* Its really funny.* Now keep in mind, my stepdaughter is the daughter of my ex wife.* But MY wife is obsessed.

Its a nice thing of course, but her obsession may be the end of me.

I got big problems with a ****ing Koi Pond. The water looks like absolute nasy *** bright green pea soup. I've been running these filters on it and they are not getting it done. I'm thinking of going with a uv filtration sys, but then I have to match the pump. Alot of stuff to consider and I'm racing the clock, if those fish die, I'm going to be pissed. Anyone here have experience with fish and pumps and stuff?

I used to work in a fish store a long long time ago, I took care of most of the freshwater tanks when I was there but I mean, it was mostly a bunch of 10-15gal tanks with one show tank like 200gal, I don't really have experience with ponds :(

I can point you in the right direction hopefully though, try this link.

If it's true that Shockey snitched then I'll finally dislike him...for the first time.
whether it was Shockey or some bench warmer, I'm glad someone opened their mouth and did the right thing.

*

There is no place in professional sports for bounties and trying to injury key players for the opposing teams.* To me it shows the lack of integrity, lack of confidence in your teammates and coaches to beat the opposition fair and square, and*is the*a cowardly way to play the sport.

*

I have no problem with a hard hitting but clean game.* Injuries are part of the game, yes, but offering incentives to have a player knocked out or carted off are 100% wrong.

*

I'm glad the Saints, Payton, Vitt, Loomus, and Williams got the hammer dropped on them.*

i disagree... unless it lead to cheap and illegal hits...

if they are rewarding a saftey for knocking a receiver out on a crossing pattern with a legal hit - i have no issue with it.

Matt there is a difference with good, hard, clean hits and bounty shots. I mean injuries are part of the game, yes. But when a D coordinator comes out and offers money to players to take out the likes of Warner, Newton, Favre and Rodgers---that is plain wrong. To me that is saying that Williams feels his defense is not good enough to win fair and square vs the opposing teams?

You cannot compare todays NFL and the NFL from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Goddell is all about players health and safety. I have heard of players on certain teams rewarding each other for a hard hit etc. But except for Buddy Ryan, I never heard of a coach promoting it and getting caught.

And tell me Matt, God forbid Eli, Nicks, or Cruz was injured due to those bounties. You and some of these other posters would want blood!

I guess you are ok with all of these players like Dave Duerson suffering from depression and committing suicide from all of the brain injuries suffered in their careers?

If that is the case, you can petition Goddell and his committee to reinstate Payton, Williams, Vitt and Loomus ASAP. Don't forget to ask for the Saints to get their 2 picks back and have their 500K given back to them.

I don't think there are aliens here on earth, but mathematically it's almost impossible for Aliens not to exist in the universe...I mean when you consider there are hundreds of billions of galaxys like the milky way out there, and just in our own galaxy there are billions of solar systems like ours it's kind of hard to imagine there isn't another planet out there that supports some type of life, like I said it's nearly a mathematical impossibility for them not to.

If they had not gone with such a safety first attitude with all the rules changes these past few handfuls of years, you woudnt even care, so dont preach to us.
The game where we played the Saints this year, Kenny Phillips nearly broke Jimmy Graham in half.
A quarterEARLIER, Nickstook a PUNISHING hit from Abdul-Quddus while trying to haul in a pass, BOTH flagged....BOTH illegal hits.
It happens. It's hard to say "we want blood" when we already saw the other side of it20 minuteslater.

http://www.sportsgrid.com/nfl/saints-giants-illegal-hits/

NOW, here's the difference. KP knew it was illegal, and showed a little bit of remorse, immediately. The saints just didnt give a ****. But whatever, that's how it went down. We got our payback in the game, and we werent even IN the game....we were losing...

I think I read once that for every grain of sand on Earth, theres over billion stars.
Earth is very young compared to the rest of the universe let alone our own galaxy. If a civilization is just 10000 years older than us, whos to say they havnt mastered intergalactic travel. Look at what we accomplished in the last 60- 70 years.

It happens. It's hard to say "we want blood" when we already saw the other side of it20 minuteslater.

http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/what-if-the-aliens-guy-isnt-crazy.jpg

but in all seriousness Aliens must exist in my opinion, the sheer size of the universe makes it almost an impossibility for them not to.

well sure when you use REAL logic! ****in Daven, man.....lol
i like my explaination better lol
Anything is possible, but I'm not believing that Aliens exist here on earth. Maybe, maybe it's slightly possible that life exists elsewhere in our universe, but for them to be an advanced society that has space vessels that could bring them to our country and then they just start living here like they were born here?

I don't think there are aliens here on earth, but mathematically it's almost impossible for Aliens not to exist in the universe...I mean when you consider there are hundreds of billions of galaxys like the milky way out there, and just in our own galaxy there are billions of solar systems like ours it's kind of hard to imagine there isn't another planet out there that supports some type of life, like I said it's nearly a mathematical impossibility for them not to.
I'm with you on the possibility of some type existing in another galaxy. I am not educated on this part. Do we know of any other galaxies or how many there are? Has US spacecraft ever left our galaxy and entered another? If not that should be our goal Trans Galaxy Exploration......In search of the perfect woman with 3 boobs. It's all about his closing speed. He's not thatgreat prior to the pass, but his ballhawking abilities are top notch. That's why he always flies in out of nowhere for trainwrecks lol
He has probably the top 2 beastly hits on Giants defense the past 5-6 years in my recent memory.
Remember his rookies year, the Steelers game? He rocks Mewelde Moore on that sideline sooooo bad that it made MY head hurt. ****ING....SICK.....

I think Voyager passed Pluto a while back and is almost outside the influence of our sun (which I believe they call entering interstellar travel) we sent that what in the 70's? I don't remember exactly....

but they've mapped a large portion of the universe I believe now, using various telescopes and satellites like Hubble.

I'm a little bit of a science channel guy so I watch shows on it a lot, Hawking is one of the leading scientists in the world right now in this field.....but pretty much every single scientists in this field says the same thing...Aliens almost "have" to exist because of the numbers of planets out there, there are literally more then billions of galaxies and each galaxy has billions of stars....and each of those stars can possibly have multiple planets (planets are hard to find apparently)

this is Hawking talking about it a bit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xjBIsp8mS-c#t=213s

In this he points out that we are probably alone within the closest 100 light years though...

there was a show on discovery recently though i watched where he mentioned what I talked about...here is an article on it.

oh god no, not yet we don't have any sort of propulsion that can do that, light years are ridiculously large, it's the amount of distance light travels in one year.

Proxima Centauri the closest star to our own, is still
39,900,000,000,000 km away. (I looked that up )

I would take lifetimes to travel that far, but we've already "seen" a lot of the universe, the problem is what we see is actually the past...because you see the light...and the light takes thousands or even millions of years to reach us.

I would take lifetimes to travel that far, but we've already "seen" a lot of the universe, the problem is what we see is actually the past...because you see the light...and the light takes thousands or even millions of years to reach us.

Cool, now this is getting interesting. So then we can map it with telescopes and hubble, but the distances are so vast that we cannot actually transport humans there?

Yeah, try Through The Wormhole on Discovery (you probably have the science channel too though) it's got the added benefit of being narrated by Morgan Freeman,

Curiosity is another one

How the universe works is another.

generally they play on both discovery and science channel randomly..I rarely watch tv but they seem to be on all the time.

I believe you saw something, but it could have been anything, technically it "was" a UFO to you cause it was unidentifiable, but that doesn't mean it was alien in origin, I don't believe Aliens have come to visit us mostly because if they did we would know about it, if they could visit us their technology would be sooooo vastly superior to ours there is no way any government could keep it under wraps, **** they can't even keep the fact that Clinton got a BJ under wraps....but Aliens they can keep that down...come on stop it lol, and I seriously doubt that Aliens would travel millions of Lightyears just to pop into out atmosphere and check on how things are going...if they came all the way here they would show themselves.

whether it was Shockey or some bench warmer, I'm glad someone opened their mouth and did the right thing.

I'm glad the Saints, Payton, Vitt, Loomus, and Williams got the hammer dropped on them.

i disagree... unless it lead to cheap and illegal hits...

if they are rewarding a saftey for knocking a receiver out on a crossing pattern with a legal hit - i have no issue with it.

Don't forget to ask for the Saints to get their 2 picks back and have their 500K given back to them.

define take out and define what a bounty shot is.

Im sorry, but every goal of every defense should be to take the QB out - legally. Now if the Saints were looking to play illegally thats different. But again, accidents do happen as well. You should be looking to PUNISH people on defense.

Speaking of Cruz vs the Saints, i dunno if u remember Nicks got LIT UP. LIT THE **** UP. It was a clean play, that dude got paid on it, and im fine with it. If you start late hitting (actual late hitting, not this Harrison hits McCoy type of late hit) or going low thats a different ball game as i've said.

TO say if anybody legally knocks Rodgers out of the game gets 5k, i'm fine with it. Know why? BECUASE THATS WHAT YOUR GOAL SHOULD BE WITHOUT THE MONEY AS WELL.

I didn't hear Giant fans have a problem with this last year when we were knocking out 7 QBs for the year. There is an unbalanced opinion about this.

You have your opinion, I have mine and I stand by myopinion100%. You apparently don't get it when it comes to what Goddell is trying to accomplish. The players health and safety comes first and foremost. Until the passed few years, we as fans did not hear of these problems/health issues that former players are now having. I did not even know all of the problems some of these former players were having in regards to concussions, until I read articles and watched on these documentaries.

I sure hope you don't ever have someone from your family or a close friend have to go through what some of these players, current and former, have.

I said that injuries are part of the game. But putting bounties on players from the opposing teams, is wrong and takes away from the integrity of the game.

But apparently you and the rest of your click can't see passed authority and rules. Thats ok though---go root for the Saints and the players that took part in the bounty system, hippocrate!

Matt won't be on much anymore, and not to mention, it's hard to come in THEE thread, post something, and not have it questioned.
I get your point, and respect your opinion. But you jsut said it yourself, you wouldn't have known about the issueshad it not been for the exposure during the process of the rule changes. Which just solidifies my point that you wouldnt have said anything about this 10 years ago. Shoot, you might have even encouraged the barbarianism aspect of the game.
I don't really have much else to say on the subject, but in closing:
If I could combine all the fairweather fan BS that youve posted between here and FB, I would need another thread entirely.

It all completely hinges on whether the coaching staff was giving the players the ok on trying to injure opposing players using illegal tactics or not...if the answer is no, they had to be legal hits to collect the bounty then I think the penalties are way to severe.

fairweather fan BS in here and FB? what in the world are you smoking? I'm one of the more objective posters in here. yeah I get mad when the Giants mess up or make a boneheaded play---but you are way off base when it comes to fairweather.

And I did apologize to you in my next post after Morehead's. But since you say **** you to me, the feeling is mutual **** head! I guess I can stoop to elementary school level too!

I posted it while you wrote that. So it was bad timing.
We can either agree to disagree and take it back, or call it day and be sworn enemies, lol...you choose. Although to be perfectly honest, I dont know if I have enough room for any other arch nemesis these days. So choose wisely!

pizz, we are Giants fans---and we will not always agree on all topics. So please accept my apology for the negative and hateful words.

I don't have enough time to add enemies---LOL!!! So I choose the former!

At least you made it interesting in here for a while. They were talking about aliens for God's sake.

Matt...this is exactly what the NFL wants to put an end to.

You may not like it, but that doesn't change the fact.

that much is obvious, but to say I don't like it would be the biggest understatement of the century, I hate it, why are they trying to change the best and most popular sport in America...they should (and by they I mean Goodell) needs to stop changing it.

If it's true that Shockey snitched then I'll finally dislike him...for the first time.
whether it was Shockey or some bench warmer, I'm glad someone opened their mouth and did the right thing.

Don't forget to ask for the Saints to get their 2 picks back and have their 500K given back to them.

define take out and define what a bounty shot is.

If you start late hitting (actual late hitting, not this Harrison hits McCoy type of late hit) or going low thats a different ball game as i've said.

and pappy - theres nothing you can do about hitting QBs legally. They are trying to change it, but it can only change so much. Mario Williams just got a 100 million dollar contract because he hits the quarterback...

we base our WHOLE defense around hitting the quarterback - it will not change

it's already changing, hitting low used to be legal...it's not now because of brady, late hits....that was barely a thing back in the days...now it's called every time it happens to a QB...even sometimes when it's clearly not late.

look at Kiwanuka on Vince Young, he literally let him go because he didn't want a penalty...the NEVER would have happened before.

They keep changing what is and isn't "legal".

Deal with it poeple. The league wants to have its cake and eat it too. They want a violent, exciting sport, but they don't want to get sued anymore by former players. they want the perception that they want to take the 'agression" out of the game.

BTW...What the hell good is a cake if you can't eat it too?

It can and will until Goodell leaves....

you still want to pressure the QB regardless but hitting him is becoming a bigger and bigger risk...everything needs to be a strip and then just hold onto their waist and drag em down thing now...powerful hits are being called more and more even when they are completely legal...soon those will be illegal too.

Good morning Gents! Hope everyone has a great Friday! TGIF!!!

Great night of sleep, maybe it will help my crank *** attitude I have had lately!

I did not want to get into it too much yesterday, but we are in the process of buying a home and I guess the stress has gotten the best of me lately. All I keep seeing is numbers, dates, packing, cleaning out the junk before we move. Then we had to get the inspections, phone calls to insurance companies to get homeowners insurance.

Did anyone hear about what Pat Robertson said about Peyton going to Denver.

He feels Tebow got a raw deal and that an injury to Peyton Manning would serve them right.

My friend I sit next to at the games is obsessed with authentic jersey's. He is beside himself when people have replicas. He told me just the other night that I must get an authentic Nike Eli Manning. I told him NOT! I can get 6 jerseys for the price of his so-called authentic....and those 6 jersey's are very close to my eye's to the real thing.

Unless the jersey is going to be signed, certified and framed, I just cannot see it. Getting an authentic for 75% of what my friend paid for his on ebay and hearing him tell me that mine is foogazi is common place now.

Matt, I have been told that I need to accept God into my life more. I was raised Catholic and went to church every Sunday and holidays.

I even went to those CCD classes a couple days after school during the week.

But I feel everybody has their faith and that is good. But I have also noticed that some of the "supposed" holy rollers are the biggest hippocrits out there.

having faith in god is fine.

I am 12 years catholic schooled too between CCD, middle school, and high school.

But these religion gets used as a crutch. People think they are holier than thou because of their religion and they look down upon others because of it (kind of goes against every thing i was taught in 12 years). People use it as a crutch to do what they want and come back with "God is forgiving".

If people can find the good out of religion, i take no issue with it. Buts its more common to find people using it as a shield. Religions that are suppose to be accepting of everybody, typically aren't at all. I just can't stomach it.

I agree with pappy on this MMB, I know a lot of religious people (all be it most Jewish) and you would have NO idea they were even Jewish, they don't push the agenda, they don't use it as a crutch, they don't think they are better people then those who are less religious...those thoughts I would imagine don't even enter their mind, they do what they do because they want to..not for some type of benefit....and if it wasn't for them eating kosher you'd probably never even know they were religious at all.

its a culmination of things.

Whether its pushing their religion on people, playing the i'm superior card, or use it as a crutch to act in a negative way (for instance the topic of homosexuality).

As a straight dude (jokes later) that grew up in ball breaking jersey and who CONSTANTLY uses the term *** and homo (in a non sexual way), it annoys the piss out of me when I come across people against gay marriage. People manipulate what religion is suppose to mean too much.

like it seems your life right now is in a really good place but not to be insulting but it just seems like you don't have much experience with really different walks of life. Its one thing I was kind of lucky wtih in dealing with others was that i've gone to school with the ghetto and i've gone to school with the rich while living in what would of been considered a middle class town my whole life. And its not to be insulting, but you should put that comment on the same shelf as "i watch too much TV" to form my opinion of why I hate religion.

Religion makes people too many people think they are on pedestals to the other people or they use religion as an enabler to live their life a certain way - and I can't stand it.

You have no idea what you;re talking about. I grew up a Democrat. I voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980, Walter Mondale in 84, Mike Dukkakis in 88, and Bill Clinton in 92 and 96. I lived a life and was open to learning new things and having new experiences. What I learned is that the Federal Government can't cure all the ills of society. Only we (the American people) can. This comes from getting the **** kicked out of me for years and years.

My evolution comes from a million factors including freindships and other relationships from people of many different life styles. So I'm a small government conservative. because I believe WE need to take control of our lives and not defer power to a centralized government.

My views on healthcare are that competition brings out the best in people and other oganizations. A good example is the car insurance issue in Mass. For years auto insurance was regulated by the state. the rates were set by the state of Mass. In Conn., where they were not regulated, they were half of what they were in Mass. When we had deregulation finally in Mass. , insurance companies competed and rates literally dropped in half here as well. I've lived in both states.

It has nothing to do with caring about people. it has to do with what works best and how that benefits people. If insurance companies could compete on an even playing field in Utah, Lando's insurance availabilty and quality would improve tremendously. Unfortunately, the government has rigged the game and prevented that.
