If Yanks sweep Sox and Jays continue to win we'll get into that second spot..i know we still got a long season to go but..wildcard spot is probably coming out of the AL East we can fight off the Sox the rest of the season and maybe catch the Yanks when they slump to get back into first..

Not for nuttin, a few kids got locked up and we couldnt swing it with less people cause the fare almost doubled
....Just puttin it out there for ya MMB

We should/could have won that game. They set a record for shooting and we still almost won. Execution down the stretch was horrible. Kobe missed 5 ft's and there were turnovers. Game 4 is ours!!!

One of the deepest centerfields in baseball.</P> just kidding around ...Been to the stadium once in my life some forty years ago they were playing the yanks. We had box seats third baseline justbehind the dugout. They lost but Rico P put one over the wall in left that day about all I remember that and the long ride home.

The HR I'm thinking of was a legendary shot off the facade at Yankee Stadium. It was supposedly still on the rise. The Jackson HR was definately still on the rise.</P>

he touched the Rim and Net, but it didn't look like it effected the shot, I think it needs to effect the shot to be considered goal tending...at least that's what the announcers said.
Gasol looked like he thought it was goal tending though...his face was the face of guilty as he was walking off the court.

I have argued with Matt for 4 days now about this. He thinks the shot would be made 9 out of 10 times. He says that it was a missed layup and that it is a ridiculous statement that it was a hard shot. Maybe you can knock some sense into him but he is being very stubborn about this. The was shot extremely hard but he will never admit it.
