You mean the half hour it takes to get to the 3rd level? Or maybe the fact that you are so far from the field up there it takes like 10 minutes for your eyes to adjust?

It's so bad that Dezz refuses to ever step foot in it.

exactly this, bud...exactly.
Luckily for me last year, when I got thrown out of the stadium at the eagles game, I got the express ride on the security elevator

The old stadium was so much better. Easy to get up top and you are right on top of the field.

It 's all about luxury boxes with NFL stadiums. That's where the money is. The hell with the hard working fans.

The first time I was at met Life I sat with my brother in 144. So I thought it was fine. I do remember looking up at the upper deck across the field and thinking it looked like it was in a different county.

The next year when I had to actually go up there it was a nightmare. But again...they don't care.
it's all about the luxury boxes. The everyday fans can go **** themselves as far as the designers of that piece of crap are concerned.

Speak for yourself. I like Metlife much better than old Giants Stadium. It is perfect? No, but it's better than the old dump. You couldn't see the football in the air during punts, if you were buried underneath the overhang in the lower section. I'm now protected by the rain and snow underneath the overhang, yet no obstructed view of any kind whatsoever, from my new seats.

Metlife is a win, win for me.

I've talked to a crap load of fans and you are the first one that has said that Met Life is a better place to watch a game than Giants Stadium.

But that's fine.

You are SOOOOO far away in the 300 section. And it takes forever to get there. You have to be in the stadium a half and hour before game time to see the opening kickoff.

And BTW..when I post on the MB,....I am, by definition "speaking for myself".

You're closer to the field at Metlife compared to old Giants Stadium, the sight lines are better, and as far as having to be inside the stadium a half an hour before game time to see the opening kick off, it was the same way in the old place as well. Welcome to "Post 9/11".

My only gripe is that it's in New Jersey. How I wish they could've built a football stadium in the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium. A pipe dream I know, but that would've been perfect!

Maybe that's why so many people don't like you here. Because you're so condescending.

As far as your opinion goes on old Giants Stadium and Metlife, they're different from mine. Metlife has better sight lines, and you are closer to the field.

I'm such a ****head...... How nice.

First of all, the people who sit around me are middle to upper class people. (Mostly middle class) They are not wealthy, just diehard Giants fans, who sacrificed financially for a passion in their lives!!!.

The ones in the luxury boxes who paid $10,000 per PSL, THEN ON TOP OF THAT, pay $500.00 per ticket for the games, are the WEALTHY ones.

Not every person who signed up for a $5,000 PSL back in 2009, where the price per ticket is $120.00, is wealthy. Far from it, hence your condescending luxury box false accusation!!!

My new seats were in the Mezz 228 in Metlife behind the endzone. They were far from the field. Didnt like them at all

Jan 1 2012 Cowboy game took me 30 mins to get out of the stadium. New Years Day, what a ****show that was. I was randomly walking between fist fights. People throwing up everywhere. Such a great game.

I didn't have season tickets in the old stadium, as I was on a 30 year waiting list, lol. But I did occasionally sit in the back rows in the lower level, and thought they were horrible.

Ironically, I'm now in section 128 in Metlife, and I LOVE my seats!! What can I say? I like Metlife Stadium better than old Giants Stadium.

I like Jeter. I HATED the fact that he actually participated in that "respect" thing. If others want to do it that's fine but the fact that he participated was a bit self involved for me.
Putting that aside...you can't compare hit totals between players when one was a pure power hitter and the other was a singles and doubles hitter.

Outstanding player...no doubt. But "passing guys on the hit list" really doesn't mean that much. Kind of like the stupidity of TC focusing on 70% completion %.

Ted played a long time. His problem (if you want to call it that) was that he gave up almost 5 years of his prime to serve as a fighter pilot in WW2 and then in Korea.
He still had 521 HR's. Can you imagine what he could have done if not for that?

We need him because we don't have a ton of talent behind Cruz @WR. I mean, a rookie could be healthy and still potentially not be a huge threat his first year. My guess is that he would have a season similar to Nicks' first season, handful of TDs, maybe 600-700 yards or so....but if he misses time to nurse an injury, to ensure he's 100%, I guess I'm ok with it. I trust Jernigan more than Randle, but we dont have a ton of talent on the roster, and it's hard to trust Manningham though I hear he's progressing well.

I fear however that since TC has the same attitude about getting him on the field, he will have a recurring hamstring problem all season.

I (and TC, despite what some believe) don't want ODB back out until he's 100%. We just think it sucks; that is, the situation he's in.

I don't know how that's so difficult to understand and so commonly misinterpreted as wanting to a) rush the kid back in while he's still injured or b) blaming the kid for getting injured. It's none of those by a long shot. Can't a person express his feelings about not being thrilled his 1st rounder hasn't had an opportunity to practice yet?

From the NY Times Sept. 16th 2012. After the Tampa game.

......... He clutched a game ball presented to him by Coach Tom Coughlin as he walked with a pronounced limp, a painful reminder of the broken bone he sustained in his right foot in May, the subsequent operation and a period of rehabilitation that limited him to two series in the final preseason game.

The injury appeared to slow Nicks when he finished with only 4 catches for 38 yards in the Giants’ season-opening 24-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, a subpar performance that perhaps encouraged the Tampa Bay defensive coordinator, Bill Sheridan, to attempt to handle him with one-on-one coverage rather than the double teams Nicks usually commands.

Quarterback Eli Manning and Nicks continually exploited that strategy. “Getting single coverage doesn’t come that often for me,” Nicks said. “Eli just took advantage of it.”

Nicks’s foot was so sore after the Dallas game that Coughlin opted to limit his practice time as a precaution, believing rest was more important than trying to make up for lost time by getting him more repetitions with Manning. The challenging circumstances made Nicks’s huge afternoon that much more compelling.

“You can’t say enough about him,” Coughlin said. “He goes out there with one day of practice and made an awful lot of plays.”..............

Now can we move on to something else???

I would say that the foot injury was related to the foot injury.
Wouldn't you?
You guys said he was healthy weeks 1 and 2. I proved you were wrong.

BTW...I can't find the league pay site info. Could you resend it to me.http://media.giphy.com/media/tB083WSscLjqw/giphy.gif

Yea its a great scene, I like when they go to the attic too. The music is great. "You like Samurai swords, I like baseball."
That and when Pai Mai trains her.

I love when Bill walks down the isle, all you see are his boots, then it shows the hammer hit the round. Cool stuff.
Also loved the anime scene. Was a bit pissed there wasnt one in 2.
I always thought the fight with Bill could have been better too. The samurai fight on the beach at night sounded lovely.
"I didn't say sell me......I said give me"
"Why should I help you"
"Because my vermin........is a former student of yours.....and considering the student......I would say you have a rather large obligation......."

FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!

Youve seen the second anime?? Is it good?

wait, no...i only have the one that has just one animated sequence...kinda like the stuff from the first movie, but more....

So Tarantino is saying they are making another one, and then adding it into the one he released in 2011??

Mine is just basically both movies, with the animated parts worked into it, making it LONG AS ****!!!! lol
