He knows the game, I'd bet players would respect him.

Could teach our LBers how to actually be LBers.


Wonder if anyone has ever asked him about it. I know not everyone is made for coaching no matter how great they were but I'd be curious to find out.

Carl Banks is working on is clothing line G-III and calling games on wfan. He doesn't have to deal with the stress of being a coach in the NFL.

"stress of being a coach in the NFL." Bingo. Not many people or ex-players would. A nice and cozy analyst job would do just fine.

A guy with 0 coaching experience as DC??...NO.....
maybe a LB consultant to start off with...
