View Full Version : Who would you root for to win the SB if the giants don't get in?

GentleGiant

Honestly I might just take the packers. I WOULD have rooted for the steelers but.....................yeah.

I'm not gonna root for the 9ers for obvious reasons.

And the seahawks........... honestly I don't know why I don't want to root for them. Maybe cause they haven't done much franchise wise. They're still the "funnest team to watch".

Jerryworld ain't got nothing on Richard Sherman world. Oh and Wilson deserves ROY.

But just to show some respect for mannings big brother(and because I hate the patriots and Houston is overrated), I'm picking denver for the AFC(and the pack winning it all).

I'd love to see another Peyton/Brady clash for the AFC title game, I don't think much pf any of the other teams in that conference.

NFC: probably the Seahawks. Russell Wilson is awesome.

Seahawks. MAYBE the colts, but I don't want the pre-ordained rookie getting it all. I'd rather the third-rounder get it. Texans I'd root for too, but they got exposed bad by the pats...

Oh, and no broncos. I don't want to lose the one argument I have as an Eli fan over Peyton fans (number of rings)...

Broncos. I was in college at Univ of Colorado during the Orange Crush days and my roomate had season tix (that old stadium used to literally bounce up and down when place was crazy..kinda scary!) so I always have had them as my 2nd team. Plus, could you imagine next year in Meadowlands...ELi vs Peyton for the tie breaker in the SB...Now THAT would be a story!!

Last time Peyton won the SB, Eli came back the next year and did it (they're very competitive).
The only other time Eli did it was when Peyton was on IR. It's almost like he needs big brother's permission to win the SB.

12-29-2012, 10:03 PM
Ravens. I've always liked Ray Rice and they have a ton of deserving veterans. Boldin came close in XLIII but no cigar. Lewis, Reed, and T-Sizzle are respectable on the defense. They are just a fun team to watch and they have a lot of talent. If it's not them, I want it to be the Colts for Chuck Pagano.

Broncos. But in all honesty I'm quietly rooting for the vikings for Adrian Peterson alone. What that guy is doing this year is what makes football great. He's like a real life living superhero and he's humble to boot. His 2012 highlight film makes my hair stand on end and he absolutely deserves league MVP. Despite not having a great chance to win the big one, being a Minnesota fan must be a blast when you get to root for a player like that.

.Thats who I hope gets one. Foster is a great player and I think Andre Johnson deserves a ring.

Man, the Russell Wilson wagon sure has grown hahIt's not just Wilson... it's their defense as well. They been steamrolling teams. I like all the young rookie QB's... I'm getting a little tired of Griffin but that's only because he plays for Washington.

Seattle. I cannot stomach a divisional opponent winning. Nor the fairweather Pats and Packer fans that came out of nowhere the last decade. The other teams have no prayer of winning. And I hate Texas so forget Houston. For me its in this order... Seattle, Bengals and Falcons. Those are my guys. It is time for teams that have never won to win.
