Excerpt: "A look at what the most pressing action items for the Giants in the offseason:

FIGURE OUT WHERE THE PASS RUSH WENT

The Giants finished with 33 sacks this season, in the bottom half of the league and a noticeable dropoff from last year’s tally of 48. The fact that they weren’t able to regularly pressure the opposing quarterback was a source of great frustration to the defensive ends who have so long been the trademark of the defense. Osi Umenyiora (6 sacks) may not be back, and Justin Tuck (http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2012/12/frustrated_justin_tuck_cant_ex.html) (4) and Jason Pierre-Paul (6½) both had noticeable declines in production this year.

ASSESS THE OFFENSIVE LINE

The Giants have made difficult cuts along their offensive line the past few years, first Shaun O’Hara and Rich Seubert, and then Kareem McKenzie. I have less worry about the D-Line, get someone who can cover back there and it will come (please no more Terrel Thomas rumors of greatness)- they do need another run stopper as Canty/Bernard/Austin just don't seem able- Kuhn was a bright spot and he could play a significant role. My worry if the OL as Baas is not the answer, Diehl is done too. We need bigger, stronger guys to handle the run game first.
Top speed receiver- let Eli chuck it aS FAR AS HE CAN THROW IT
