I had said on here a couple days ago that no one on this team really deserved a grade of an A this year. However, I just remembered Hynoski, and I think he does deserve an A. He had a great season blocking and when called upon to catch passes. I feel like his work goes very under the radar (like most fullbacks), but Hynoski had a great season. Hope he can keep it up next year!

Your thoughts?

I agree

This is a cool a*s sig.... It was good to see him get his TD. I wonder how long he worked on that celebration?

I'm gonna come out and say it, I think he played at an all pro level.

At the very least pro-bowl level... the fact that he got snubbed sucks...

He was the second best blocking fullback in the NFC behind Jerome Felton of MIN

Felton paved the way for a 2,000 yard rusher so he deserves the #1 spot

So basically if we had adrian peterson, we'd have a run game?

Our o-lines run blocking rating was ranking just after MIN at #4 and Hynoski was ranked #2 behind Felton

Now Peterson was the #1 ranked rushing RB. Bradshaw was ranked #14

So in sort yeah, lol

Lol really. See the other thread on this MB where everyone is talking about replacing most of our oline...

We can just trade for AP! Problem solved!

I like Hynoski, he is a great blocker.

Hopefully he can continue to play well for us.

He was outstanding this year.. Did a great job in the run game. Dropped a few passes early on in the season... Made up for it against philly. Fullbacks are supposed to block anyways haha.

Because their pass protection is atrocious

Because their pass protection, unlike their run blocking, was atrocious. Also, Locklear.

Hynoski was a keeper from his first rookie snap. No fanfare, no drum roll, just point me and watch out.

Hynoski is the man... he's the least of our worries.

coming into the NFL he knew his blocking technique was not up to par. He worked on it and made it happen

Hopefully Hyno will be a fixture here for a long time, like Maurice Carthon was.

He has better hands than a man with his thick torso and fingers should have. He is an average blocker but if the price is right, he should stay. We need all the money we can muster to reload, overhaul, blow ups and start again with the OL.

I have to tell you, before I saw his number on that pass, I thought it was a lineman who had reported eligible. He is BIG

He'll make it next year for no good reason like our pro-bowlers this year.

Thats interesting. I'd agree that our pass protection blocking was quite good overall, but the O-line run blocking was not. We just flat out got pushed around this year, particularly on short yardage runs.

Hyno is a great fullback and blocker! some analyst/commentator recently said he is the best fullback in the league!

i thought he would be more of a weapon for us this season but what he did do deserves your grade of A.

i doubt many defenders will stand in front of this guy if hes running the ball.....or blocking for that matter.
