What's your favorite play of all time. Mine's Bradshaw's run in the first super bowl. Only a five yard run, but it showed me the Giants were for real.

Jeremy Shockey as a rookie initiating the contact against a defender and steam rolling him (think it was his first action ever as a pro). I remember seeing that and doing a double take. One my favorite memories and I remember how excited I got for the Giants season that year.

Always have trouble finding the video for it now but it used to be plastered everywhere...now it's nowhere to be found.

Our defense after Plax scored the TD in the last few mins of SB 42. They held Brady so he could not score. Aikman was saying that 1 min and some cents was a lifetime for Brady to score. GREAT D THAT DAY.

Set the stage: It's December, 1958, and the previous week the Giants have come from behind late in the fourth quarter to beat Cleveland with Pat Summerall's 50+ yard FG (nobody knows how long it really was, since the game was played in a snowstorm and the yard-markers were covered), resulting in a regular-season Eastern Conference tie between the Browns and Giants, forcing an unscheduled playoff game the following week in Yankee Stadium.

Giants, led by Huff and the defense, have absolutely stuffed Jim Brown and company, and are up 3-0 (plenty of points, as far as I was concerned: no need to do anything rash like try to score a TD) late in the third or early fourth quarter. Giants have the ball around the Cleveland 25. Conerly hands off to Webster, running an apparent off-tackle slant left; Webster hands off to Gifford on a reverse back to the right side; Gifford heads off right tackle unopposed, since the Cleveland LE has rushed upfield following Webster; just before reaching the LOS, Gifford straightens up for a jump-pass to the right flat to . . . CHARLIE CONERLY?!?!, who has drifted out unmolested after the handoff to Webster, and has a clear path to the end zone, 25 yards away. Now the drama doesn't end at this point. For those who may not remember, Conerly was almost as accomplished a ball-carrier as Eli, and damn near as fast -- could Charley make it to the end zone, or would he run out of gas and trip or be caught from behind? Sixty thousand of us screamed encouragement, and although he got hit on the goal line, he held on to the ball and stumbled into the end zone to ice the game.

I believe the play, which had been drawn up specifically to take advantage of the LE, was called X-99. Not sure why. Oh, and one more thing -- playoff tickets were ten bucks in those days.

I didn't notice that. Too busy jumping up and down and screaming.

But you may be right. The hole was empty and Giff would have had a big gainer had he kept the ball.

I love everything from the 1990 NFCCG. My favorite year ever. But the Eli to Manningham pass in SB46 was a thing of pure beauty. From the throw, to the catch, to the concentration of getting both toes down.

Bavaro carrying Ronnie Lott on his back in SF for who knows how many yards until half the 49er D was able to bring him down.

Shockey trucking Gibson of the Colts. 2002 late season.

Shockey outmuscles Dawkins in the endzone for the ball to tie the game for the Giants which sent them to the 2002 playoffs.

Shockey blowing past a facemask and then sprinting 40 yards before stiff arming a safety into the ground. 2002 preseason

Sehorn picking off McNabb where he batted the ball almost on the ground and then rolling up and scoring in a divisional playoff game. 2001 playoffs

Victor Cruz catch and run bomb vs Seattle last year where the ball got batted in the air and he still caught it and ran. 2011 midseason

Victor Cruz vs. Philadelphia last year in Philly. 2011 game 4 where he caught the ball and then Osomugha and the safety crashed into each other and sprung him into the endzone.

Victor Cruz vs. NY Jets for 99 yeards. 2011 game 15

Tiki Barber reverse run vs. Cardinals in game 1 of 2000 season.

A few that come to mind.

These threads always make me feel like I have a terrible memory, I remember a few, but seems like I miss things.

Oh well.

JPP's field goal block to win the division last year.

Shockey in the preseason, I believe against the Titans in the HOF game, where he just threw the defender down.

Amani Toomer toe tap sideline catch in the 08 playoffs.

Eli to Nicks hail mary at the end of the half against the Packers in the 12 playoffs.

And call me sick, but LT breaking Theismann's leg. Just summed up what LT was all about to me.
