LMAO Is very amusing how this clown thinks SB's are overrated and not as important , if winning the SB isn't the main purpose then , can somebody ask him what's the point to win the Div. , qualify to the playoffs or even win the Conference championship ?

Many team fans were happy that we miss the playoffs, these include fans of the Cowboys, Skins, Eagles, 49ers, Packers, Patriots, Jets.

Funny to see fellow E-girl fans giving the OP crap:

"2 Superbowls in 5 Years. Yeah, Laugh at them."
"And guess what 9-7 > 4-12."
"This is a terrible thread. It's like a kid with no legs laughing at a kid who only has one. "

good stuff

Yeah a lot of fans of other teams seem to have this hate towards us. I'm not sure why.

I think all 12 playoff teams are happy we missed the playoffs and are too injured to do anything anyway... Nobody wants to face the "Hyde" Giants.

Most people on the forum actually think the thread was dumb.

Misleading thread title. Fans in that thread are bashing the OP.
Yeah a lot of fans of other teams seem to have this hate towards us. I'm not sure why. That hate will subside once the Giants actually prove they are one of the NFL's elite and not some team that just happens to always have a horseshoe stuck up their asses in December and January. Also a lot of people just don't like New York fans and media.

Stupid Eagles fans, they barely won one game against this year because of a stupid PI call, then we crushed them the second game. Their superbowl appearance is best known for McNabb throwing up on the field.. lol. Yeah a lot to be proud about in that franchise...

What do you expect from eagles fans?
They are the new basement team of the east, with the emergance of Washington; although the verdict on the redakins is still to be determined, it probably hurts to think that this self proclaimed dynasty dream team is going to have to postpone its pre celebrations another couple years. It must suck to be a eagles fan, cause here you have all these big name marquee players and consistent failure for 50+years? Tsk tsk. I would rather be a browns fan, cause at least i know the talent is not there to do much and can forecast a ****ty season, the eagles should of won at least 2 by now.

GreenGuy, which loser team do you root for? The luck stuff is quite embarassing, that's the best you got?

If anything they should "LIKE" us. Recently, for the most part, they have always whooped us so our success actually took little away from them. So really we have done little to stop them from making the playoffs or top seed in nfc east.

Who's got two recent Super Bowls? The Giants. Who can beat the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl? The Giants. Who lost their Super Bowl to the Patriots? The Eagles. One of the worst 5 NFL teams as of 2012, the EAGLES. Sucks to be a Philly fan. Can't even win 1 Super Bowl. We own 4. You have no right to talk.

GreenGuy, which loser team do you root for? The luck stuff is quite embarassing, that's the best you got? I do root for a loser team. That doesn't change the fact that the Giants have been extremely lucky in the playoffs in recent years. Never understood people who respond to an offensive statement with another offensive statement that has nothing to do with anything. I could be a Steelers/Patriots fan and still think the Giants have had a lot of luck in the playoffs. You guys were pretty much a fluke last year and even the New York City obsessed national media knew it. Which is why other teams came into this year with much more hype/coverage then the Giants. Your roster has had very little change in the offseason yet (a year removed from a ring) you guys are sitting on the couch (3rd place in one of the weakest divisions in football) while the real, consistent heavyweights like Green Bay, New England and Baltimore are in the playoffs duking it out again. Be proud of your Super Bowls. Appreciate them and cherish the memories but acknowledge the fact that you guys have had some luck in the playoffs.

1st off, why don't you tell what loser team you root for? That ashamed of them? Luck does play a role in any teams playoff run to the SB. But you also have to be talented & good enough to beat teams like GB/SF/NE, plz don't tell me we were just lucky in all 3 games. We beat the crap outta SF/GB this yr as well. Those were lucky wins too, huh?

You just wish your team had an iota of the so-called luck my Giants have supposedly had.

This whole theory of luck by rival fans is just pathetic to me and quite honestly just sad in terms of being a fan of professional sports. GOOD teams CREATE their own "luck." You have to be mentally and physically prepared to play at such a high competitive level. It takes skill.

Frankly, it just screams jealousy and blinds them from special magical moments in sports by elite well coached athletes.

To educate you, which is obviously needed. The Giants have been a very consistent team, I believe the longest streak of non-losing seasons in the NFL. I will take 2 SB trophies over the past 6 years over any other team accomplishment in the NFL. The SB trophy is the prize, As far as being lucky, you have no clue. My guess is you are a Jets or an Eagles fan, either way too bad for you.

Okay you guy are right. Scott Norwood missed his field goal because the Giants ST unit was so talented. Your backup reciever made a freak catch against his helmet out of pure talent. Where is he now again? Eli Manning threw that Hail Mary before the half in Green Bay because the play was drawn up that way. Kyle Williams decided to botch multiple returns because the Giants were so good that they made him. The Giants play poorly every year and then sneak into the playoffs at the last minute because you are always the best team. You guys were not a fluke last year and were the best team in the NFL hands down which explains why the Giants are sitting on the couch this year while EVERY SINGLE TEAM they beat last year is in the playoffs laughing.

To even to be able to be in a position like that was because of Belichick's game plan devised to limit the high powered bills offense by conceding the run. I believe that game plan is in the hall of fame. The nature of the NFL is the strength of individual athleticism and the vast parity that exists. To have confidence in your abilities and never give up is a major factor for any team. Your so called analysis shows how limited your view of the sport is. Situational awareness and mental toughness were huge factors for all the Giants Lombardi's, even in 86 when they were losing at the half.

Eli manning drove down the field on one of the greatest teams in history in the biggest stage in the world - and succeeded. There are multiple levels of athleticism just on "the catch" besides the actual throw and escape. That drive could have easily stalled, but it didn't. The team performed in the moment. If you think that drive is lucky, use manning to manningham as an example of well executed football skill. As well as the fact that the Defensive line got after Brady all game. How is that lucky? How is sacking, rushing and hitting the quarterback and limiting one of the greatest qb/wr combos lucky? That is skill players playing to their ability.

Your viewpoint of the giants sneaking in shows how incapable you are actually seeing the difficulty of all the giants road wins and all of eli mannings triumphs in do or die situational football downs and the overall team's road warrior mentality, and for that matter any wildcard lower seeded team. Eli holds some of the greatest QB playoff records to date. It's easy to criticize when it isn't your team, and ignorant to ignore the history of the accomplishment. Once again, strategy and athleticism are part of this sport. How is this hard to understand? Eli took devastating hits in that 49er game and never turned it over. You think its easy? Do you not think the 49ers are a great team that anyone can just roll over? Do you think its easy to beat the Packers twice in frigid temperatures in Lambeau? Its very difficult. This isn't Madden on Sega Genesis, this **** is hard.

I understand the jealousy, that is natural, but all the rivals really should step back and think about what the Giants actually did for the sport with their wins. Notwithstanding, giving other teams a template and mantra of "well the giants did it, so can we," but the sheer fact that they twice defeated the already crowned Patriots - denying them their perfect season and a title of dynasty. Have it your way, but having to hear about every year how the Patriots are the greatest team ever and a pure dynasty would have been less then desirable. Everyone loves a good underdog story.

So maybe you should concentrate on analyzing your own teams ability to succeed and less trying to tear apart our hard fought and well earned championships - winning isn't easy in such a competitive sport.

I'm not only a diehard fan of the Giants, I'm also a diehard fan of the game of football.

And finally, how are well coached, thought-out and designed game plans lucky?
