What was with the refs blowing the play dead with Jacobs moving forward? I thought the announcers didn't do a good enough job complaining about that. Officiating should be a big story on the post game shows and such, but I am not hearing it.

I agree with you. Seemed like a BS call.

probably because he has quit running in that situation all year, surprised them keeping his legs moving

I agree that they could have let it play out but the jet defenders did force him back momentarily and that is likely their basis for that...and yes, Jacobs often gave up on those types of situations so he caught them in a lull!

refs tried their best to give the jets a chance to win today's game.

sucks for them :)

that call by the refs was one of several mistakes they made in the game today.

they sucked today. this game should be a training aid of how "not to" call games.

This had everyone where I was seated confused - jets fans included - it was a bs call

The "jacobs often gives up" comments are laughable

Well at least they where quick to blow the whistle on the Jets too when Canty had Sanchez wrapped up.

Sanchez would have gotten intentional grounding in the back-endzone, which still would have resulted in a safety. There was no way for the refs to help the Jets on that one...lol
