Excerpt: "Terrell Thomas has always been one of the most social-media friendly professional athletes, whether that be via Twitter, Facebook or his own web site/blog. Tuesday, Thomas continued that trend by taking to his blog (http://www.terrellthomas24.com/) to announce that he is "returning to football in 2013."

Thomas, of course, has missed the last two seasons due to ACL injuries and has now undergone three ACL surgeries. With his knee issues and his contract status up in the air Thomas future is uncertain. "Most likely and hopefully I will be resigning with the Giants," Thomas wrote.

General manager Jerry Reese recently floated the idea that if Thomas returns to the Giants the team might consider moving him from cornerback to safety, a position that might be less taxing on his oft-injured knees." Read more...

Anything more than an invitation to camp and a chance to earn the last spot on the depth chart would be silly on JR's part.

I think that's what he'll pretty much get.

And any contract he does get if he does make the team will come with a boat load of injury clauses I'm sure.

Still ... nice to see T2 making the attempt. It's getting to the point where 3 ACLs are no longer keeping players away (for good or bad).

if they can save $$ by parting ways with him....then do it.
if not I guess he is worth a shot.

We took a chance on Hixon after two back to back ACLs and that worked out in terms of his knee holding up. He had a productive year as the # 3.

Honestly, give him the same contract as last time, league minumum guaranteed with a ton of incentitives

I hope he makes it back and fulfills his potential. I've never seen it.
