After the Super Bowl, he wrote that he'd be at the Timex (practice center) at 9am Monday morning, and invited his teammates to be there with him. Said it's a quest for another ring. Now, I don't know how much he has left in the tank based on last season, but I love that attitude.

I like that motto: Quest for 5. It would make me very happy to tie the 9ers and Cowboys.

Good. Don't rest on your laurels. Next year Super Bowl is the bigger deal anyway. I'd let this one pass as long as next year, you'll be the number one seed? That would be home field advantage all the way. :)

For one minute when I saw the thread's title I thought Tucks comments going to be about contemplating retirement again. Jokes aside he has to do some serious soul searching because if he stays he has to be accountable and has to play an important part of next years team. No excuses, show up, do your job and earn your pay.

Maybe Strahan has gotten to him. Gotta change you body and tactics to adapt to your age and diminishing abilities. Time and nature are cruel masters. Go big man. I'd love to see Tuck back on top again.

You wanted leadership, there it is... Give Tuck what he deserves. If he plays poorly say it if he does something well say it.

Hate Quest For Five, too much like the 49ers. I'd personally like that no mottos started until we actual get to the season. I like the Giants team that remains under the radar for the most part.

good. but i'll judge how cool this was by how he looks next year.

no offense tuck, the problem hasn't been that giants players don't sound good on twitter or in front of a reporter.

+1. I think that he's descended to being a mediocre talent, but I love this attitude. This is leadership.

Tuck is saying all the right things here.

On a side note, are you on Tucks payroll or something? When 2 of about 25 posters say something negative about a player, thats not exactly being crushed in the world of public opinion. 90% of the posters have a favorable view of his tweet...

He must have watched the game very closely and realized how mediocre the Ravens looked a few times this season. It's all about getting hot in the playoffs for sure. Ask the 49ers and Falcons how their SB run came.

I love Tuck and I love the NY Giants but.......Why is Tuck's tweet such a big deal? you are paid well and are very rich for playing a sport. Shouldn't you be in the gym or the film room every chance you get anyway? Why does it make people happy he said that? that should be the players mentality every year.

Just saying

next thing will be all the giants going out and getting YOLO t's.

just play better.

work out, see therapists, wear your lucky socks. tweet about it, put an ad in the paper, write it on some fancy stationary and burn it in a pagan ritualistic ceremony. i don't care.

Didn't Hynocerous already beat Tuck to the punch on this anyway? Personally I think that would be great for players to keep meeting during the offseason. Eli throwing to Cruz during the lockout (before anyone even knew who Cruz actually was) had some great help building that connection that made Eli to Cruz such an explosive play...
