Be interesting to see what we do with Bennett.

Right...if we can't afford Bennet, who do we feature as the starting TE.....Bear? Unless after camp and preseason Robinson looks ready to go......

Odd... I'm guessing we'd rather roll with Robinson? I would have sworn we'd do Bennett/Robinson, making Pascoe superflulous...

Guess it comes down to how they feel about the JPP of TE's. :p

We'll carry three TEs. Chances are if we don't re-sign Bennett we'll go to a cheap FA (like we did with Bennett) and see if Robinson develops. They might even re-sign Beckum who would be incredibly cheap (but I hope they don't).

We carry three TE's and Pascoe is versatile enough to be the FB/HBack if Hynoski were to go down. I think they will sign Bennett

nice.. no offence, but lets hope he's not the starter

Beckum is incredibly cheap because he's incredibly unproductive

Good catch by @BigBlueInteract: TE Bear Pascoe re-signed by Giants to 1-year deal, $715K base.Solid move right about where most of us expected it to land. A roster is made up of all types of players, some stars and some role players. This was a good one to put to bed at a very modest cost.

have to resign him in my opinion

Signing of Pascoe has nothing to do with Bennet at all. Pascoe is a 10 reception a year player who blocks from various spots on the line.
The Giants will carry 3 TE's...

I don't think this resigning is indicative of anything related to Bennett. This is a good depth signing for his versatility, especially at 750K.

for sure

he wants to remain a Giant so I don't think coming to terms will be very difficult

The Bear: common sense re-signing IMO.

I am hopeful that we retain Bennett and see what his potential is if/when more closer to full health.

It was only a matter of time for Pascoe to be re-signed, the news came out some days ago about him coming back. Good solid move .

If i never see beckum take another snap for the giants it would be too soon.

Best name in football

Wasn't there a photoshopped title card of Pascoe that was an actual bear wearing a football helmet?

Absolutely. I'm not sure why Pascoe gets sniped on here as much as he does. He is a solid player. Good blocker, and when Eli checks down to him, he will generally convert for a good gain. I like the guy. Glad he's back.

Bennett, Bear and anyone but beckum. Unfotunately, some of the travis beckum story has a lot of coaches fingerprints on it. He wasn't even considered a viable player. His style was never accounted for in the playbook! Wonder why?

GOOD move. I'm a big Pascoe backer -- the guy is a good backup at both TE and FB. GOOD value in Bear.
