Thanks for the memories Osi......see ya! I honestly don't think he will get as much $$ on the FA market as he thinks he will....

Funny you mention that, I was thinking the same thing.

Defensively who's left? Chase, Tuck, Cweb. Who else?

Eli, Snee, and Diehl. Not sure the latter will be on for much longer...

Good point.
Fun fact: The Deossie Family has a ring from all but one super bowl won by the giants.

Yeah. It's a pretty cool family bragging tidbit too lol.

Only father-son in history to win a SB for the same team.

It's up to 4 confirmed at this point. You have the 3 cuts to Boley, Bradshaw, and Canty, and now Osi's contract got voided (though that was honestly expected to happen, it's why we paid him more money up front in 2012 to begin with)

RF you see any more Vets being cut loose.

Probably, but not sure any with the splash of the first three. I'm expecting Beckum and Barden to be released but they won't create CAP space. They've just not produced enough to justify keeping.

I actually think we keep those 2. They are kinda young, and cheap. that is exactly what we are looking at right now, cheap guys with some expirience but not old. And they know our system already. Hixon could be back too. I think Diehl gets cut or takes a paycut.

If the Giants are true to form, both will be released. They are at the end of their contracts and haven't produced. We have a lot of young talent who show promise, we need to spend money wisely.

Travis Beckum and Ramses Barden will soon be Unrestricted Free Agents for 2013. I think they'll leave on their own to test out the free agency market just to see what value they have. We shouldn't be so quick to throw pocket change at Travis, but that'd be funny. Osi leaving was already written in stone a while back. He's going to the team that will throw the most money at him. lol

Now is the time to let go of Webster, Diehl, and T2 as well. I think Rolle still has value to the team, but I won't be surprised to see him let go as well.

Goodbye Osi. Thank you for your contributions to in winning us 2 SB rings while you were here. You will always be dear to ALL Giants fans....even those of us who thought you needed a little tough love.

Good luck to you, sir.....and stay out of the NFC East.

It was the right move. I wish Osi the best and actually hope that he can come back at a much lower price, but I know it's not realistic.

He'll probably wind up on NO with Spags.

good, just assign the Hynocerous to his side and we'll put up over 100 yards on the ground against them easy

I'll admit, when I first saw this and posted the link -- my first thought was that Osi is very likely to be a Jet next year. Isn't Rex in love with him for some reason? Only thing that would prevent it is their cap situation.

It's amazing how ungrateful people are and how they have the "what have you done for me lately attitude" osi was a great giant. Ill always remember how much fun I had in the stadium celebrating sack after sack in that epic 12 sack game the defense against the eagles. Watching osi get there again and again was a giants moment ill never forget

Good bye to, show up when I feel like Osi, he can't play the run, nor the pistol, Giants should part ways and go another direction.
