Excerpt: "The Tennessee Titans are looking to add bodies to a defense that allowed more points than any team in football last season.

One early target in Tennessee is former New York Giants (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newyorkgiants/profile?team=NYG) defensive lineman Chris Canty.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports (https://twitter.com/jwyattsports/status/301760363282694144) the Titans made a contract offer to Canty following his visit this week, but the 30-year-old lineman will continue to explore his options. That's a sign the Titans didn't blow him away with their offer, but Canty also might be waiting to hear from the Kansas City Chiefs, who he met with on Monday, per Mike Garafolo of USA Today." Probably expecting around the same salary he made with the Giants (don't blame him really) and since he is versatility between a 4-3 and 3-4, he's worth a decent amount. Think he'll end up getting between $2 - $4.5 million a year somewhere. Just a hunch.

Chances are that Canty signs with a ****ty team and is quickly forgotten, making Reese look like a genius -- BUT I still think we should have entertained an offer to bring him back at a cheaper rate.

+1 He hasn't accepted the Titan's offer and who knows if his agent hasn't called Reese to see if they're willing to make an offer.
