CHARGERS INTERVIEW COWHER (http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/320570-source-chargers-interview-cowher?xid=cnnbin)

"The
Giants, with their New York cache, stable ownership and a franchise quarterback
in place, look like the most likely landing spot for Bill Cowher should Tom
Coughlin be fired. Don???t, however, rule out the Chargers. I was told this week
by an in-the-know source with intimate knowledge of the San Diego sports scene
that Cowher already had ???an interview?????? with high-ranking people inside
the Chargers organization who were gauging his interest and that he expressed
his interest in the job should Norv Turner be fired."

With the GMEN one game away from winning the East he is not going anywhere, and you can bet the house that Mara would never bring Cowher in here, there is no way he is messing up what Eli and the offense has, all the GMEN need is a consistent defense not a coach that should have won at least 4 superbowls but finally after 16 years got one despite of his coaching.

There is an article in today's news thread where they interview John Mara and, while I'm not much for reading between the lines, I'd be shocked if there was any thought of tossing Coughlin out with the bath water. He was very complimentary of Coughlin.
