Milliner will be gone unless something crazy happens so out of Jonathan Banks, Xavier Rhodes Desmond Trufant, Jordan Poyer, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, David Amerson, Logan Ryan. What would your rankings for these CB's?

1. Desmond Trufant (smaller than Banks and Rhodes but very quick and great character)
2. Jonathan Banks (big CB played in SEC so has played good competion solid player)
3. Xavier Rhodes (looks like a good tackler and big but I dont know about his quickness or all around coverage skills)
4. Jordan Poyer (smaller like Trufant but straight up play maker. Kind of a bigger Honey badger)
5.Blidi Wreh-Wilson (bigger CB great attitude to him has played long so a lot of potential)
6. David Amerson (bigger than Ryan with more picks. Haven't seen a whole lot on either though)
7. Logan Ryan ( looks to be a nice player dont really know much about him so my rank on him could be off compared to others)

I think they all are day 1 picks and all could help us but that is my personal rank of them I know you guys might think I am crazy for having Trufant #1 I would like to see your ranks and reasons why they are ranked there.

CB is actually pretty top-heavy... Ryan is currently ranked 17th in the CB class according to the stats NFL.com has, although i'm sure that's subject to changedue to his raw physical capacity.

I really like Poyer, Trufant, Taylor, Rhodes, Ryan, McFadden, and Slay personally... I'd be happy with any of those guys in the 2nd-3rd range...

Some mocks have us taking Jamar Taylor in the 3rd. This guy is a potential steal I love his coverage skills and on top of that he's been a four year starter so there's a lot to scout on. His forty time will determine if he's mid second round or third round potential.

Rhodes is still my guy though lol. His coverage and athlecism, seen the job he did on Michael floyd one on one last season. He plays tight coverage, reminds me of a more athletic Prince.

There are a ton of sick CB's this year. I am happy because usually the draft has a ton of stud WR's and a few solid CB's this year there are like 10+ solid CB's

I like the fact you didn't mention Banks. He's not a physical CB and get run over a lot.

banks or rhodes day 1....I feel like most people are not a big fan of banks..except me of course.....This draft is deep at the cb spot so we dont need to take one round one necessarily.

Banks could be a star but I feel like he is not physical enough. He has the height and if he gained a little more muscle he could be a really good CB I like Rhodes and Trufants tackling ability. I am interested to see how they perform at the combine. I really would like to get a CB who can go alongside Prince for years to come. That is if Prince can stay healthy..

I've come to the conclusion there is no CB worth the pick at 19. Millner is the only one but will be long gone.

2nd round should have some really good CBs though.

I disagree..I think banks is aggressive and physical. He was used as a blitzer frequently and forces fumbles/lays the wood well for a cornerback. He wasn't asked to press much at miss state so he is primarily an off cov corner, but I think with some added weight he can become a good press corner. Then maybe we can finally transition to more 2 man coverage with prince on the other side.

Well my opinion was only based off of clips and his tackling seemed weak. He could be a animal with his size. He looks like he has good hands so if he can get good at pressing he could be lockdown

Rhodes (from the film I've seen) is the worst tackler I've seen from the names mentioned. He just happens to be the best cover corner of all the names which is why I prefer him for the Giants.... but I really don't like what I've seen from him regarding run support or physicality. I'd take Banks every time if it were up to physicality. Banks gets his nose dirty and doesn't shy away from contact.

I think after milliner and banks there is a pretty good drop off in talent.

as far as what I see, and considering they possess the entire package and are ready to start immediately, yes. he reminds me of patrick peterson.

Yea, rhodes is the best cover corner, reminds me of Prince but with more athleticism..His vertical at the combine should be impressive..His run support isn't great, but the highlights show it's an area that he may be able to improve in. Prince and Xavier Rhodes locking down the outside. Reese needs to pick Rhodes in the first and Ogletree in the 2nd.

I like him too but he's atrocious in run support which should be a big concern with the giants style of D. how is he in zone coverage? Prince can cover and tackle at a high level. although, if it went down like you have listed,,rhodes in 1st tree in the 2nd, only an idiot would complain.

The best tackler of the top prospects is probably Logan Ryan. Jonathan Banks may be the next, though that's not saying much as Trufant, Poyer. Wreh and Rhodes aren't exactly lighting it up in that category. I don't think that would be the overwhelming assessment in picking a corner.

In terms of Prince comparison, I would not say that Rhodes is more athletic than Prince. He doesn't look to have anywhere near the burst or speed Prince had. He just has the far better ball skills which allows him to make the better play on the ball.
