Definite no on moore - with his combine either hes lazy or not very athletic. either way heck no

love slay and pugh - both great value here and would be upgrades at our OL and CB positions

dont know much about dawkins but we need a DT int he worst way and i like his measurable

Klein is a physical beast not sure he would be aailable in the 5th

never liked lindley in college and dont like his pro potential. played weak competition and got exploited when he played anyone good

LOVE Williams. best blocking TE in the NCAA this year. Never was used in the passing game but Eli makes all TEs look like super stars (i.e. boss, ballard, bennett)

Im okay with a K in the 7th we need one i cant stand tynes

I really like this mock! It address alot with good value and without reaching. The only pick i dont like is the QB. I havent seen him, but the giants only carry two and probably wont go with a rookie (but what do i know). Imo it is much better then you 1st.

Moore did do poorly at the combine, the big knock was on his bench press. 12 reps seems pretty bad for a DE, keep in mind though that Jared Allen put up 13 reps and he is having no problems in the NFL getting to the Quarterback. Moore is criticized by his poor 40 time and bench press. Well his Vertical was 4th (two tied at 2nd) and his broad jump was tied for 4th. That means he has explosiveness to him. DE's do not need to be these freaky fast players. The key to being a good DL if you do not have the strength of a JJ Watt or some other freaks of nature, JPP got 19 reps on the bench which is a considerable amount more than Damontre got but JPP is seen tossing OL around at times. JPP looks like one of the strongest guys out there at times, same with Jared Allen. You need to be quick off the ball and have some good rush moves. If you get off the ball quick it is very easy to get the OT off balance and he is much easier to get past. This is the key to most sack specialists. Look at the tape of him and you can see that he gets off the ball quick enough to speed rush around the outside or make a move inside as well. If he learned to utilize a spin move into his package he could do damage in the NFL. Honestly the combine alters peoples perceptions of players who produced well and did not perform at the combine. I think that JPP and Moore could be a force at the DE position for the Giants for years to come!

Other than that im not a fan of the draft at all, I think Slay is gonna get murdered in the NFL, Im not too sold on Pugh, Everett Dawkins numbers are laughable for anything other than a UDFA, AJ Klein seems like a career STer, but I do like Hopkins as a Kicker in the 7th

I think that Moore in the first would be a type of pick that has NYG all over it. Teams like the Steelers and us usually do not reach for anyone in the first. We like to feed off of peoples mistakes when they reach on a "workout warrior" or QB not worth that high of a selection. Slay I am not a huge fan of but I would not mind the pick at all. The kid has some big potential I think. Pugh should be solid given some time to develop (maybe year or 2 to be fully ready to be reliable). I really know 0 about Dawkins.... Klein I think is giong to be more than a ST'er because he is surprisingly fast and has very good ball skills for a MLB. He is a very good tackler, I could see him being a more athletic Chase Blackburn who can cover better. If that makes any sense at all haha. I am making the Blackburn comparison just off of the effort that he gives just like Chase. I think that he can be a much better MLB in the NFL if given the chance to do so. Williams is like an extra OT out there blocking which is solid! Hopkins I have been seeing a lot of people place him in the 7th...I dont know much about him but I wouldn't mind the choice of a kicker in rd 7.

I'm not sold on Moore as a 4-3 DE. I would prefer trading back and drafting the Tank!

To each their own... but I think if we did end up with Klein (I think he'll be gone by our 5th pick) he would probably instantly be the best coverage LB on our team. I think he's too athletic in coverage to be limited to just special teams.

Of those Qbs

Definatley not Klein - Hes a crappier version of Tebow

Rodgers - Pro Pedigree and knows how to work hard. Is a little on the small side but is athletic (4.7 40) and can still fling the ball with good zip. Worked from a JUCO and a Shoulder Surgery to play in the SEC and play well for a pretty bad team. Wouldnt mind him at all. Very smart kid with high football IQ. A few years behind Eli and he could be a valuable asset either as a backup/replacement or trade bate. Excited for his proday!!

Jones - idk that he will be available here i see him going in the 3rd or 4th round. NFL Prototype frame 6'5'' 225lbs. Was a 1st round pick if he came out last year. If hes there in the 6th freaking take him just on potential alone

SIDE NOTE:

There is a QB that i would love have a chance to compete or get a shot in the NFL (for the GMen)

Peter Lalich - the kids Football IQ is through the roof. hes got great nfl measurable. was released from Virginia and Oregon State for 2 separate underage drinking incidents , but lets be honest what college kid doesn't drink. Ended up going to California University of Pennsylvania and dominated. I would love to see what hes got. If not for the off field issues he would have been in the national spot light. Obviously has overcome alot of adversity, self created, to get to where hes at and i would love to see him come in as a UDFA
