So if it goes to 4 am ESPN will cover the whole thing?Whoa bud, there is 2 days to the draft. The first 2 rounds are day 1 and each selection takes 7 minutes i believe(they change it constantly). So the first day will only last until 8 at the latest.

Each team has 10 minutes to pick, with there being an average of 7 and a half minutes per pick which is roughly 240 minutes for the 1st round alone(4 hours) and then the second is typically faster paced but the first two round will take something like 7 hours which means it'll end around 11ish est...

The first 2 or 3 rounds are 15 minutes. Then they shorten it to 10, then 5 minutes for the later rounds. Something like that, but I don't know exactly. At least that's what they've done in the past. They also used to start at 12 noon, not 4PM. Who the #%&amp; knows what they're doing this year? I suppose the info is posted on the NFL web site but I, like most here, like to guess and post with AUTHORATAH, rather than do any research.

In the first round teams have 10 minutes to pick, in the second it goes down to 7 mins per pick, and rounds 3 through 7 is 5 mins per pick.</P>

You'd figure they'd be able to get more viewers at noon on a Saturday. Then again, I'm only MODERATELY Hard-Core (about the draft), and I'd watch the Giants pick if it were 3AM.

Considering we won't know who won (the draft) until three years from now, it's actually genius the way they get us to watch. Well, it's all we really got for the next four months or so. Viva La Draft!!

Day 1 of the draft should end at about 11:30 to midnight.

I usually watch on the NFL Network while listening on Sirius NFL Radio. That's the best way to go. It'll be on until at least 11:30 to Midnight. The first round will last til about 5 hours and 20 minutes. 2nd round will go a little faster, but have all snacks and meals prepped if you plan on watching the whole thing like me.

I don't have cable, i did a search, internet coverage of NFL draft and came up with sites showing the draft. I also listen to Sirius radio, there's nothing better. NFL network 124, sporting news radio 127, ESPN 120, 121, Sports central 122, Maddog radio 123 and Hardcore sports 198. The best radio on radio.
