That's a lot of dough.
For what its worth, brace yourself.

Give Bradford a YAC receiver

Maybe. Hard to tell since teams and agents usually break the tampering rules and talk anyway but the rumors have been that teams are scared to death about what Goodell will do if they are caught. I still think teams won't like what Cruz is asking for and will back off paying a 1st just to secure him.

There's a lot behind this if you take in count first that Amendola ( Rams slot WR ) is looking like he is walking to FA, second the Rams have an extra 1st in this years draft, third the rumors around the Rams are interested in Cruz and last the cap moves made by the Rams to have more money.
In the other hand historically this kind of moves are rare indeed. A huge contract for Cruz and parting ways with a 1st round maybe to much.

Give Bradford a YAC receiver
Bradford's chance of a ProBowl go up instantly.

Cruz will be a Giant next year.

I hope Cruz stays but the prospect of the Giants gaining some additional Picks isn't bad either.

I just hoe this year Reese and Company pass on all "experiments," "projects" and "tweeners..."

Reese margin for error is non existent in this years draft and the young bucks on this team have to realize their time is now. No more scholarships or free rides. They have to focus and comprehend they have become key pieces to the success of the team going foward and for the common goals to be accomplish.

I like your optimism but I'm not that sure anymore.

Take rams first this year, trade to jags for their first next year, get first overall pick in 2014, draft Clowney, profit

Rams or Colts would be my guess for teams putting in an offer for Cruz. Both have a ton of cap, young QBs and a need for WRs.

if this happens the Giants acquire the 16th pick in the first round...and we already have the 19th pick

Gabbert starting is the key objective to this mission.
