He will be back in blue soon he will get cut from the Niners after this season. Once you go blue everything else is just doo doo. Lol

He'd have had to take a cut to stay in NY, anyway. He's on a contender so I don't see the issue.

He's coming off a late-season ACL surgery, and let's be honest, he wasn't lighting the world on fire prior to the injury.

You mean, like he was when he was here?

around him better. Manningham was barely average this year at SF, no Eli at qb. New England's strategy against Eli was to take Nicks and Cruz away and make Manningham beat them. What does Eli do? He beats them with Manningham. Eli walks the walk.

Silly comparison, the Niners run a different offense.

I'm thinking the ACL had a lot to do with this. Not even sure I'd want him back on the Giants now either... depends on how well he recovers from the ACL. If he bounces back like Hixon then sure...

If you watched the Niners Manningham was just another #, never made any impact and like usual didn't play 16 games.

It wasn't through any fault of his own, though. The Niners don't base their attack around deep passes to their wideouts.

Did Manningham get enough playing time anyway?
