I thought it was possible earlier before but not with Torrain resigning. Jacobs is going into his 9th year so his veteran minimum is about $800k which is far too much to spend on a RB.

I also wasn't ware of what our cap situation was looking like or who was staying and who was getting cut.

I love Jacobs and I'd love him for about $250,000 but the veteran minimum has rules in regard to how many years you've been in the league, unfortunately.
