I strongly recommend looking at TE Dennis Pitta as an upgrade from Bennett. Pitta has all the talent, better hands, and no selfish attitude.
Make the move Reese!

Dude has a second-round tender on him... No chance of this happening.

2nd round tender AND spend money?

Only if the ghost of Al Davis possesses Reese.

Make the move Reese! He is more in the mold of what we need here at TE as opposed to a Keller type player.
I'd take him in a heart beat but I don't think that will work into the grand scheme for us.

We already have the JPP of TEs on our roster. (Let's just hope he doesn't turn out to be the Sinorice Moss of TEs.)

would be nice but not if he's an rfa. if they were going to bring in a tight end i would like to see is ben watson i saw his name on a list of fa tight ends earlier in the week not sure if he's still availible.

You think he's worth a draft pick ?

Guess the real question would be, does the 2nd round talent in this years draft have the potential to be better than what has been seen by Pitta? I'm no draft expert, so I'm not qualified to answer that question.

I really like Pitta, think he's one of the better TE's just comingoff a SB victory. The only better TE in the 2nd round would be Ertz, not sure he;'s better than Pitta, who's proven. But after baltimore signing flacco, they may not have the money to match any other offers.

How was Bennett selfish? Because he took way more money than the giants were willing to spend?

The difference is that Ertz or any other TE they take in the 2nd round will be a cap hit of roughly 700k. Try doing that with Pitta.

PEOPLE, WE. DO. NOT. HAVE. MONEY. TO. SPEND. ON. HIGH. PRICED. FREE. AGENTS.

Nor would we waste a draft pick on Pitta when we could get so much more value.

Follow the team a little.... you would know this

Do some fans realize Cruz, Boothe, Nicks are still not signed or what? Not to mention our draft picks which will cost $4,614,587.
